From Demon Slayer to the Multiverse: The Ultimate Exploiter

Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Reshaping the World

Mr. Liu's brow twitched ever so slightly, but he quickly realized that this was Satoru Gojo extending an invitation to the Exploiter to join his faction. This was also likely the Game of Fate providing the Exploiter with a choice of allegiance. Aware of this, Mr. Liu didn't intervene; instead, he maintained his signature polite smile and watched Tong Gu.

Tong Gu caught the subtle expression on Mr. Liu's face. This "Mr. Liu," a character absent from the original story, was clearly another "player." From the way he interacted with Satoru Gojo, it was evident that he held considerable influence and status in this world.

In other words, this person had likely entered this world before. His reappearance here, facilitated by special tools, was no accident. The goal? To obtain something or... to target someone.

Was this the result of the Deathbringers' operations in this world?

It seemed that their team had already sent multiple members into this realm, completing missions and using trial and error to compile a comprehensive strategy. This was standard procedure for most strategy teams.

However, the Deathbringers had likely set their sights on something specific—perhaps coveting some unique power or resource within this world—choosing to invest heavily here.

They exploited the gray areas of the Fallen Street market, acquiring tools like Log Pose to reenter this world repeatedly. Some of their members likely infiltrated various factions, securing strategic advantages.

Tong Gu's thoughts raced, and he quickly pieced together the situation. Their reason for transporting him into this world was clear: to use its inherent "rules" to either ensure his mission failed or outright kill him.

In doing so, they hoped to tarnish the Sealer's reputation, undermining the faith others placed in him and the belief that the Game of Fate could be fully conquered.

Chances were, one of their team members was already broadcasting the events live, waiting to showcase his failure or demise to their audience.

"Heh…"

Mr. Liu's gaze dropped, seemingly oblivious to the fleeting shift in Tong Gu's expression. Having confirmed that the Exploiter lived up to his reputation, he didn't underestimate him. On the contrary, the young man's sharp mind, especially for someone only 18 years old, was impressive. Tong Gu had clearly recognized Mr. Liu's true identity and deduced his precarious situation.

But what of it?

In the face of fate, human cleverness was meaningless—it only served to deepen despair before death.

Satoru Gojo, seemingly unaware of the subtle interplay between the two, spread his arms wide and passionately extended his invitation once more.

"Don't let Mr. Liu's stern demeanor fool you. At our school, we keep things pretty relaxed!"

Tong Gu scratched his head, offering a bashful smile in response to Satoru Gojo.

"I'm not really sure what this 'school' you're talking about is, but I'd prefer to live a simpler life."

Hearing this, Mr. Liu's lips curled into a faint smirk, inwardly mocking him.

Afraid of interference and sabotage, he's rejecting Satoru Gojo's invitation?

Foolish!

So, he thought choosing another faction would shield him?

What an idiotic notion. Whether it was the Star Cult, the Kyoto School, or even the cursed spirits' faction, without Satoru Gojo's protection, his demise would only come swifter.

Satoru Gojo, meanwhile, let his smile fade, casting a thoughtful glance at Tong Gu. With a resigned shrug, he picked up the unconscious injured and strode away, his movements effortlessly cool.

This "wanderer" clearly possessed talent, but not enough for Satoru to waste his breath. His invitation had been no more than a passing whim, and being turned down didn't bother him.

Yuta Okkotsu hesitated for a moment, seemingly regretful. Bowing deeply to Tong Gu, he expressed his gratitude for the help before following his teacher.

Mr. Liu was the last to leave. As he passed Tong Gu, he noticed Satoru Gojo and the others boarding their vehicle. Dropping his poker face, Mr. Liu's lips curled into a sinister smile. Mimicking the motion of moving a chess piece, he remarked,

"By rejecting Satoru Gojo's faction, you've already… played a losing game."

Then, Mr. Liu strode away. He was well aware that the Sealer was waiting for someone—Suguru Geto, the Special Grade Curse User.

That was fine by him. Killing Suguru Geto and taking the Exploiter down in the process would be killing two birds with one stone.

---

After Mr. Liu left, Tong Gu's lips curled into a smile of his own.

Sticking close to Satoru Gojo's faction would've been the easiest way to pass this mission, sure.

But that didn't mean this world had only one solution.

On the contrary, the chaotic and complex factions of the Jujutsu World went far beyond the Tokyo School, Kyoto School, Star Cult, and the big three families.

With Kenjaku, Tengen, and Sukuna—three millennia-old monsters—pulling strings from the shadows, the current Jujutsu world was already riddled with cracks, just waiting for Satoru Gojo to be sealed before it descended into unprecedented chaos.

The memory of Mr. Liu's confident smirk deepened Tong Gu's own grin.

Did he really think that a title among the higher-ups could control Satoru Gojo?

"Hahahaha…"

Tong Gu laughed heartily. In previous missions, he had mostly followed established narratives. That didn't mean he liked toeing the line. Here, in this world long dominated by the Deathbringers, he finally had the chance to try something new.

The sound of approaching footsteps interrupted his thoughts. Unlike Mr. Liu's rigid, mechanical stride, these steps were relaxed, almost playful.

The figure who appeared wore a black priestly robe, his long black hair tied in a half-up bun, with a strand of fringe falling across his forehead. Wooden sandals clacked against the ground as Suguru Geto strolled into the ruined schoolyard.

Narrowing his eyes, Geto glanced at the laughing Tong Gu, then continued searching for the lingering traces of cursed energy within the school.

"You're looking for this, aren't you?"

A calm voice called out. Geto turned to see a figure holding a card radiating intense, malevolent cursed energy.

That distorted, overwhelming power—it was unlike anything Suguru Geto had encountered before.

The curse… was strong.

"Oh? And how do you know what I'm after?"

Gone was the Suguru Geto who once sought to protect ordinary people out of a sense of superiority. What remained was a man who viewed them with contempt and loathing, shaped by their cruelty and ignorance.

Though his tone carried curiosity, it was laced with malice. Several grotesque curses materialized behind him.

Tong Gu, clutching the student ID card he'd lifted from Yuta Okkotsu earlier, sidestepped the question and posed one of his own.

"Mr. Geto, do you want to change this world?"

Suguru Geto's expression hardened. A pale, humanoid curse slowly emerged behind him—Tamamo-no-Mae, a Special Grade Imaginary Vengeful Spirit.

"Who are you?"

This "monkey" had addressed him by name and exposed his deepest ambition. His killing intent surged, filling the air with cursed energy and malice. Tong Gu felt the icy sting on his skin, but his smile remained, growing even wider.

"Mr. Geto, I'm just a wanderer who happens to know a few secrets."

"And I've had enough of this world."

"So, Mr. Geto… shall we try something new?"

"Let's reshape the world!"
