As the battle began, Kai focused on countering Orochimaru's swift and unpredictable strikes. The snake-like ninja used his serpentine appendages to deliver powerful blows, while Kai used his incredible speed and agility to dodge and counterattack. Their taijutsu battle was a flurry of movement, each trying to land a decisive blow on the other.
Kakuzu, for the time being, remained a spectator, observing Kai's movements and techniques. He wanted to assess the enemy's abilities before engaging in combat himself. Though he was eager to collect the bounty on Kai's head, he knew better than to underestimate his opponent.
The taijutsu battle between Kai and Orochimaru continued, the two combatants displaying exceptional skill and agility. Orochimaru's serpentine limbs extended and retracted, striking with incredible force and speed. Meanwhile, Kai relied on his precise movements and lightning-fast reflexes to dodge and retaliate with powerful blows.
Kakuzu finally decided that it was time to join the fight. He stepped forward, his body tensing as he prepared to engage Kai in combat. Just as he was about to strike, Kai noticed the movement and turned to face the new threat. With a quick flick of his wrist, he unleashed a torrent of wind towards Kakuzu, forcing him to dodge and momentarily halting his attack.
Orochimaru took advantage of the distraction, launching a barrage of kunai at Kai. Despite his quick reflexes, Kai found himself hard-pressed to evade the onslaught. As he dodged and deflected the projectiles, he found himself backed into a corner.
The taijutsu battle evolved into a clash of ninjutsu as Orochimaru and Kakuzu began to unleash their elemental techniques. Orochimaru sent torrents of water towards Kai, while Kakuzu attacked with powerful gusts of wind. The two villains worked in unison, their attacks complementing each other and making it difficult for Kai to counter.
Kai, however, was not to be underestimated. He quickly adapted to the new situation, calling upon his own mastery of the five elements. He countered Orochimaru's water with a wall of earth and deflected Kakuzu's wind with blasts of fire. The battle intensified as the three shinobi hurled elemental jutsu at each other, each trying to gain the upper hand.
Orochimaru and Kakuzu were taken aback by Kai's ability to wield all five elements. They exchanged a glance, realizing that they would need to step up their game if they wanted to defeat him. Orochimaru called forth a massive snake, which slithered towards Kai with incredible speed, its fangs bared and ready to strike. Meanwhile, Kakuzu summoned a powerful lightning attack, sending a bolt of electricity hurtling towards their opponent.
Kai's eyes narrowed, and with a swift hand gesture, he created several shadow clones. The clones dispersed, each one engaging the snake and absorbing the brunt of Kakuzu's lightning attack. With a powerful shout, Kai channeled his chakra into a Rasengan, which he hurled at Orochimaru. The snake-like ninja barely managed to dodge the attack, his eyes widening in shock as the Rasengan tore through the ground where he had been standing moments before.
The ninjutsu battle raged on, with Orochimaru and Kakuzu utilizing their mastery of the five elements to unleash devastating attacks on Kai. Undeterred, Kai retaliated with his own arsenal of elemental techniques, demonstrating an equally impressive command over fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning.
As the three combatants exchanged blows, it became apparent that Kai was more than capable of holding his own against both Orochimaru and Kakuzu. In addition to his mastery of the five elements, he revealed his ability to use powerful techniques such as Rasengan, Shadow Clones, Lava Release, Boil Release, and Sand Release. The sheer variety and strength of his attacks caught his opponents off guard, forcing them to reevaluate their strategy.
"Impossible," Orochimaru hissed, his eyes wide with shock. "How can he wield so many powerful techniques?"
Kakuzu's eyes narrowed, his voice filled with frustration. "We cannot afford to underestimate him any longer. We need to combine our efforts if we hope to defeat him."
Orochimaru nodded, and together they launched a coordinated assault, with Orochimaru using his snake summons to bind and immobilize Kai, while Kakuzu prepared a powerful combination of his elemental attacks.
Kai, however, proved to be a step ahead of them. He swiftly summoned several shadow clones to distract the snake summons, and then unleashed a massive Sand Release attack that engulfed both Orochimaru and Kakuzu. The two villains managed to evade the attack just in time, but the effort left them momentarily vulnerable.
Seizing the opportunity, Kai sent a wave of Boil Release chakra towards his opponents, forcing them to shield themselves with their own elemental techniques. As Orochimaru and Kakuzu struggled to maintain their defenses, Kai moved in close, his hands forming a Rasengan.
Orochimaru's eyes widened in horror as he realized that Kai was about to strike. "Kakuzu, we need to retreat!" he shouted, his voice strained with urgency.
Kakuzu gritted his teeth, refusing to back down. "I didn't come here to run away," he growled. "We'll finish this together."
The two villains combined their efforts once more, launching a barrage of elemental attacks at Kai as he approached. However, Kai remained undaunted, weaving through the onslaught with his incredible speed and agility.
As Kai drew closer, Orochimaru launched a desperate attack, sending a flurry of snakes towards his opponent. To his surprise, Kai countered with a powerful Lava Release technique, incinerating the snakes and forcing Orochimaru to leap back to avoid the searing heat.
Kakuzu, seizing the moment, unleashed a massive lightning attack that tore through the air, aimed directly at Kai. Yet, Kai's reflexes were unparalleled, and he managed to dodge the deadly bolt with a swift side-step, closing the distance between him and his enemies.
Kakuzu grunted, accepting the situation. "Fine, we have no choice but to use our trump cards." His body convulsed, and his four elemental hearts emerged from him, floating in the air.
Orochimaru, understanding the gravity of the situation, signaled to two of his underlings. They rushed towards him, prepared to be used as sacrifices for his Edo Tensei technique.
Kai, recognizing the impending threat, acted swiftly. With no hesitation, he killed the two underlings before Orochimaru could use them. His cold, emotionless eyes never wavered, and he resumed his relentless assault on his opponents.
