Ch154- Tailed Beast Farm
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to take a moment to share something with you all. As some of you might have noticed, the frequency of our weekly chapters has gone down a bit recently. I'm navigating through some challenging times right now, and it's been impacting my ability to maintain our usual pace.
I really appreciate your understanding and continued support during this period. Your patience and encouragement mean a lot to me. I'm committed to keeping the story alive and will do my best to deliver quality content, even if it's a bit less frequent for now.
Thanks for sticking around and for being such an awesome community!

After dealing with Roshi, Kai's form flickered like a shadow disturbed by light, and in the blink of an eye, he reappeared amidst a new scene of chaos. Utakata, surrounded by the relentless assault of the two resurrected Kage, the second Mizukage and Rasa, was waging a fierce battle. But where there had been despair, there now stood Kai, a silent promise of victory.
With a mere wave of his hand, the Edo Tensei’s hold on the two Kage crumbled like ancient parchment in flames. Their souls, released from Kabuto’s dark bind, soared upwards, leaving behind the shell of their former glory. Kabuto, hidden in the shadows, felt the sting of his pawns being swept off the board, unable to summon them back into play.
Utakata, the momentary surprise etched on his face, felt a force tug at him. Before he could muster a word, he was flung into a dimension where time and space folded upon themselves—a temporary reprieve from battle at Kai's behest.
Kai didn’t pause to survey the aftermath; his duty beckoned him elsewhere. In a series of flashes, he was a specter darting across battlefields. He reached Han, whose massive frame loomed over the scorched earth, and without a gesture of struggle, Kai whisked him away into the same void that now held Utakata.
His presence then graced the sands where Gaara, now Kazekage, clashed with foes of old. Gaara's eyes barely registered Kai's approach before he, too, was sent spiraling into the dimension where time stood still.
Cloud was his next stop, where Killer B's raps were silenced mid-verse by Kai’s unspoken command. Like the others, B found himself enveloped in the ethereal folds of Kai’s jutsu.
With each warrior he secured, Kai’s shadow grew longer, his silence louder. And then, as sudden as his departure, he appeared in Konoha, where the war had not yet touched the heart of the village.
Kakashi, the Sixth Hokage, stood by Tsunade, whose tenure as the previous leader had been marked by trials of fire and blood. They were with Naruto, their eyes tinged with anticipation and the weight of forthcoming battle.
Tsunade stepped forward, her eyes reflecting a mixture of concern and unyielding spirit. "Kai! Did you...?" Her question trailed off, expecting, knowing.
Kai simply nodded, the movement negligible, but she understood. It was done. The Jinchuriki all secured. Naruto's lips quirked upward, and he pumped a fist in the air, a silent 'yes.'
Kakashi, observing the exchange, couldn't help but allow a rare grin to grace his face. His Sharingan eyes now mirrored the depth of his comrades' resolve. "Seems you've saved us quite the trouble," he remarked, the humor in his voice thinly veiling the gravity of their situation.
Tsunade stepped up, her presence commanding and warm. "You work fast. But are you hurt?" Her eyes scanned him, professional and personal concern mingling in her gaze.
Kai glanced at her, a silent language passing between them. "No need for concern," he replied, his voice betraying none of the tumultuous history they shared.
Naruto, oblivious to the undercurrents, chimed in, "We were about to form a plan. You're just in time."
Kakashi interjected, "Before we proceed, we should consider—" But his strategic musings were cut short by a sudden arrival.
Sasuke approached, his aura as intense as the onyx of his eyes. "Sensei," he began, a question in his stance more than his voice.
Kai looked at Naruto and Sasuke, a momentary silence fell before he acted, his decision clear. With a swift motion, both shinobi were enveloped in a rush of energy and vanished, taken to the sanctuary Kai had crafted with his jutsu. With this act, the Nine Tailed Beasts were beyond Akatsuki's reach, secured in a place untouchable by their sinister hands.
But, as Kai knew all too well, fate was an untamed beast; it had a penchant for writhing free from the tightest of grips.
In the heart of the Akatsuki base, the air was thick with dark intent. Madara, in his Edo Tensei form, stood before the towering Gedo Mazo. Its presence was as ominous as the plans he harbored for it. The statue had just completed sealing the Yin half of the Kyubi chakra, extracted from Minato. Madara's gaze, sharp as ever, cut through the dim light to Kabuto, who lingered in the shadows.
"Are you sure about it?" Madara's voice was deep, resonant, and held the edge of command that had once rallied nations.
Kabuto’s grin was the only part of his expression that glinted in the low light. "Absolutely," he assured, with the confidence of a man who held secrets untold. "Edo Tensei revives a person in the state just before their demise if not altered... like I did with you."
Minato, his body reforming from the spectral ashes of the Edo Tensei's conjuring, stood silently, a testament to Kabuto's grim craft. Madara's eyes appraised him, "So, we will have endless Kyubi chakra?"
The grin on Kabuto's face grew. "Yes."
Pain, now a different entity from the original Deva Path after Kai had liberated Yahiko from Nagato's control, approached the two. His voice was neutral, almost mechanical. "How about the other tailed beasts? Without them, we cannot resurrect the Ten Tails."
Madara's grin matched Kabuto's earlier one. "Hashirama and I captured all the tailed beasts back in the day. I sealed a portion of their chakra, small yet significant. It seems it will now serve a purpose. Let's create a tailed beast farm."
He turned to Kabuto and Pain, his voice carrying the weight of ancient power and unchallenged command. "Find eight competent Shinobi. Then we will teach them Dead Demon Consuming Seal. After we free them from the Shinobi's belly, they will be resurrected with Tailed Beasts. To think Dead Demon Consuming Seal can seal Tailed Beasts even after death. The whole world thinks Tailed Beasts resurrect when the hosts die. That was the reason why Hashirama and I chose to give them away equally instead of killing them all. But this boy showed me another possibility." His eyes, sharp and calculating, rested on Minato, now fully resurrected, standing quiet and imposing in his spectral form.
"If our enemies knew," Madara continued, his tone laced with the thrill of strategy and foresight, "they could stop us from getting Tailed Beasts for good, but they don't." A chuckle rumbled deep within his chest, growing into a laugh filled with dark anticipation. "This is getting more interesting by the moment."
