Ch151- Stay and Fight
Naruto, feeling the shift in energy, dispersed the barrier, his Celestial Orbs now revolving around him. He sent them forward, attacking with precision and strength. Sasuke, ready once more, activated his Seraphic Insight. The world around Naruto shifted, a serene dreamscape enveloping him.
But Naruto was ready. The Aegis of Trust materialized around him, the dome-shaped barrier protecting him from the mental intrusion. He could feel the genjutsu trying to take hold, but his barrier dispelled it, safeguarding his mind.
Sasuke, impressed, nodded in approval. He could see the strength in Naruto, the harmony between him and Kurama. This was no longer the brash, uncontrolled power of the past. This was something new, something beautiful.
Seeing they couldn't decide the winner, Sasuke unleashed Perfect Susanoo while Naruto donned his Golden Fox Mode. Both of them, engulfed in their formidable auras, looked at each other, their eyes reflecting determination and unyielding spirits.
Sasuke, encased in the iridescent armor of his Perfect Susanoo, stood tall and imposing, the wings on his back fluttering gracefully, leaving trails of luminescent motes in their wake. The Lotus Blade, pulsating with energy, was ready in his hands, its edge gleaming with a soft yet deadly light.
Naruto, in his Golden Fox Mode, exuded a warm, golden light, his form ethereal and grand, with nine flowing tails dancing gracefully behind him. The Lotus petals floated around him, enhancing his mystic aura, as he prepared to face Sasuke’s challenge.
As the battle commenced, Naruto, utilizing his Ethereal Dash, closed the distance between them in a blink of an eye, leaving a trail of golden petals in his wake. Sasuke, with his Susanoo’s agility, parried with the Lotus Blade, the clash between them creating a shockwave that rippled through the dimension.
Naruto, not letting up, unleashed his Golden Blaze, waves of golden fire engulfing the area, purifying and burning with a discriminating heat. Sasuke, countering with the Susanoo’s wings, created a gust of wind, dissipating the flames and clearing the field.
Sasuke, seizing the moment, lunged forward, the Lotus Blade aimed precisely. Naruto, tapping into Kurama’s Benediction, sensed the intention behind the strike, countering with his Radiant Whiskers. The ethereal whiskers extended, disrupting Sasuke’s chakra flow momentarily and creating an opening for Naruto.
Utilizing his Foxfire Orbs, Naruto launched a barrage at Sasuke. The orbs, glowing brightly, exploded upon contact, their power evident. Sasuke, however, activated the Guardian's Embrace, the shield absorbing the impact, protecting him from harm.
Sasuke, his eyes gleaming, initiated his next move, the Seraphic Insight. The world around Naruto shifted, a serene dreamscape enveloping him. But Naruto, prepared, activated his Aegis of Trust. The dome-shaped barrier protected him, dispelling the genjutsu and safeguarding his mind.
Naruto, using this opportunity, unleashed his Lustrous Roar, the sound waves shattering the dreamscape and creating shockwaves strong enough to challenge Sasuke’s defenses. Sasuke, feeling the pressure, reinforced his Susanoo, the armor glowing brighter as he withstood the attack.
Naruto, his energy unyielding, pressed on, his Celestial Orbs revolving around him as he prepared for another assault. Sasuke, his resolve as strong as ever, readied the Lotus Blade, his eyes sharp and focused.
The battle continued, both warriors displaying their newfound powers and abilities. The dimension itself seemed to respond to their clash, the air vibrating with the intensity of their battle. Naruto and Sasuke, locked in this dance of powers, were testing their strengths and resolve to the fullest, pushing each other to their limits.
As the battle raged on, it became clear that this was a test of endurance and skill, a chance for both of them to understand the depths of their new abilities. The Lotus Seal had bestowed upon them powers beyond imagination, and now, under Kai’s watchful eye, they were unleashing them in a spectacular display of strength and mastery.
The two of them, locked in this epic battle, continued to push each other, their powers clashing and intertwining, creating a symphony of light and energy in the surreal dimension. And as the battle wore on, it was evident that they were not just students and teacher; they were warriors, standing at the threshold of a new era, ready to embrace their destinies and the challenges that lay ahead.
With swift, controlled movements, Kai appeared between Naruto and Sasuke, his presence instantly halting their clash. The air seemed to freeze, the previously ferocious fight brought to a sudden standstill. The two young shinobi, Naruto and Sasuke, looked up at Kai, their eyes wide with astonishment. In their most advanced forms, filled with power and determination, they were made to feel like mere children in front of Kai’s overwhelming strength.
Kai, without a word, teleported them all back to the training grounds. He turned to Naruto and Sasuke, his voice steady, “You did good. Rest now.” They both nodded, exhaustion apparent in their eyes as they realized the extent of their exertion.
He then shifted his focus to Kurotsuchi and Hinata, who had been training together on the other side of the grounds. Their expressions changed as they noticed the abrupt return of the others, curiosity burning in their eyes. Kai, keeping his tone even, addressed them directly, “Akatsuki is on the move again, targeting another Jinchuriki. Are you ready to join the fight?”
Kurotsuchi’s eyes sharpened, her warrior instincts kicking in as she processed the information. Hinata, though more reserved in her demeanor, stood up straighter, a subtle fire in her eyes showing her readiness.
Kai, acknowledging their willingness with a slight nod, spoke decisively, “Let’s go then.” In an instant, the scenery around them shifted, the familiar training grounds replaced by a rocky, rugged terrain. The air was thick with tension, and the ground beneath their feet felt uneven and harsh.
In front of them, a man with striking red hair lay heavily injured on the ground. His mustache and beard tapered off to a point, and he wore a large headpiece that bore a resemblance to a three-pointed crown. His Iwagakure forehead protector was affixed prominently on the headpiece, a testament to his allegiance. His attire was a unique blend of traditional and armor, with a magenta kimono shirt and pants layered over mesh armor. He had on fitted black clothing underneath, and his sandals reached up to his calves. Around his waist was a brown sash, securing a set of armor that protected his torso. Despite his current state of vulnerability, there was an undeniable air of strength about him, as if even in his weakened condition, he was a force to be reckoned with.
Across from where the injured man lay, stood two figures, resurrected by Edo Tensei. Their expressions shifted from confidence to unease upon laying eyes on Kai, memories of a previous encounter in a cave flashing in their minds. They shared a glance, contemplating escape, but before they could act on the impulse, Kai's hand waved through the air, sealing the area.
“Stay and fight. Let me see my students' progress,” he stated, his tone even, his gaze sharp.
