Fou's Snippet Book

Chapter 10: RWBY x DMC OC - Smokin' Sexy Style! -

"Alright, escaped from them, now it's time to check the Fit." Cinnamon spoke aloud, leaning on a tree in a clearing after having left team RWBY and JNPR to fight their enemies. "Hair check!" She reached behind her head to feel if she had long hair and tsked in annoyance when she found she had shoulder-length hair with two strands falling in front of her ears. "Huh, C-Cup, nice. Can't complain... Also, Nero concept art 3-2? Nice."

She flexed her gloved hand and rolled up her sleeve, seeing V's tattoo's across her arm made her smile, a feeling settled in the back of her mind. "Just glad my hair is still Sparda white." She smirked and launched her right hand forward, the ink leaving her skin and turning into a dire wolf sized black inky fox. "Hello, Fennec." She greeted as it trotted to her, a scowl fixed on its face even as it rubbed itself into her hand. Launching her left, she summoned a large Hawk sized Owl, that landed on her outstretched arm and preened when she scratched its chin lightly.

"Athena, your name is now Athena." The owl hooted before taking flight, Fennec following her and dashing off before both rushed Cinnamon, she stumbled back as they impact with her body, returning to their tattoo state. "The Yamato may be too much for me to handle, but how about…? RED QUEEN!" She called out her hand, reaching over her shoulder and clenching the very blade her 'Brother' would use.

'VRRRRRR' She revved the blade and let a small smile grace her lips, it seemed that any facial expression that wasn't scowling seemed to hurt a lot more than it should. Her hands reached behind her and pulled out Dante's Signature guns, she settled into his classic Ebony over Ivory pose. Spinning the pistols, she returned them to the holsters she felt on the back of her hips. "Not too curvy and not too thick, just perfect." She mumbled to her self as she continued to inspect her cloths, quick drawing Blue Rose, she levelled it at a Beowolf that sprinted out of the nearby bushes.

And that's when the prickling sensation of being watched started, just right as it leaped at her, did she put a finger on the trigger, and right before its arms could hit her, midair, she fired. "Eviscerate!" The rounds hitting it with so much force it was launched back even as it turned into black smoke, even as she was assaulted by more Grimm rushing her, her faced stayed firm in a scowl. "Show me your motivation!" She yelled as she revved Red Queen, Blue Rose safely stored in her left thigh holster.

'Savior - Bloodstain - Hellfire - Shadow'

Her body blurred, little after images left in her wake as she appeared before the first, heavy rock blasting into the air out of nowhere as she started to swing her blade, fire blasting the creature with every single swing, a heavy upwards swing was all it took to launch it into the air, she spun on her foot, body blurring once more as she dodged a swipe from another and then unleashed a shotgun blast upon the airborne enemy, "Special delivery!" disintegrating it.

'Heaven on a landslide'

She blurred again, appearing behind another with a suitcase she used as a blunt force trauma weapon. Launching the Beowolf away as the rest rushed her, she spun on her foot with the suitcase glowing bright as she held it in the air as it transformed into a large Shuriken. "Looks like you need a little trim here!" And it was sent flying, separating all the Beowolf heads from their torsos, before an Ursa Major barged into the clearing.

'Savior - Bloodstain - Hellfire - Shadow'

The suitcase returned, being replaced for a massive longsword with a heavy double-edged blade, notched on both sides near the tip. The blade spun around her hand and launched the now flinching bear like creature into the air. "Don't get cocky." Drawing Dante's signature pistols, she fired into the beast so rapidly you would mistake the pistols for a full-auto weapon.

'Heaven on a landslide'

She turned around and let the creature fall to the ground, walking away from it as it slowly disintegrated. "*Sigh* Disappointing!" She cried out, walking toward where she caught a glimpse of the camera that now followed her. The Ursa, however, had other plans. It raised with the last of its strength and rushed forwarded even as it lost mass, its finale 'Fuck you' to her would be this last attack.

She turned too fast for the camera to follow, her back faced the camera even as she looked to her left directly at the flying Ursa. Her trench coat flowing in the wind as Blue Rose was levelled with its head. "Jackpot!" She yelled as she left loose one shot, making the Ursa flip backwards and fully disintegrate.

"Juvenile." She spat, and walked toward the camera cleverly hidden in the trunk of the wood, she pulled it out and stared with a deep frown. The music fading out as she inspected the device.

The one watching said camera sat at his desk, setting a mug of hot chocolate down on his desk. His weary eyes gaining a small glimmer of interest. Luckily, he had already sent out his right-hand woman to talk to the girl.

"Hm… The applicants aren't exactly even in number… But something tells me this one's worth it." He muttered to himself, fixing his tinted glasses back in place.

Meanwhile, said right-hand woman was quickly approaching the spot in the forest where the Grimm had so quickly perished. Her boss, Ozpin, wasn't quite clear on what she was to do once she found the one responsible. But that was normal. He trusted Glynda to judge for herself if said individual could be a good student.

Cinnamon dropped the camera and turned at the sound of footsteps behind her, Blue Rose drawn and ready was now pointed at a blonde hair lady that was a bit taller than herself in heels. "Stop where you are." Her voice while monotone carried force in it, a tone of warning that belayed she would fire on sight.

"*Ahem* Would you mind lowering your weapon? You're on Beacon property. The Emerald Forest is our territory. Normally, you'd be escorted out without much issue. Maybe even with a warning. But…" Glynda looked over Cinnamon's gear and hummed to herself, she silently wondered where the girl's sword went or if it had been destroyed.

"I believe there may be an offer for you. One that comes only once in a lifetime." Glynda adjusted her glasses, radiating a sternness that came from teaching teens for years, as she has. The girl twirled her pistol back into her thigh holster and stretched her arms above her head.

"Very well, let us go. I have no need of sitting around aimlessly." Cinnamon responded, and started to follow the Glynda. Her hands clasped behind her back yet not touching the pistols holstered there. "I am Cannella Sparda, you may call me Cinnamon." She off handily mentioned as she fell in step beside the good witch.

"Glynda Goodwitch. Now what were you doing here in the Emerald Forest? Hunting Grimm is a Huntsman's job, after all." Glynda asked, though she agreed Cinnamon was capable, she still looked young. And she knew what could happen when young Huntsmen-in-training go off to fight the Grimm alone. Usually, it never ended well. So she was relieved to see not a scratch on her.

"I do not know. I had fallen out of the sky." Cannella shrugged, a non-awnser that was the truth, yet not something believable. "Quite a peculiar thing to wake up to, no? Waking up in the sky and falling?" She asked in such a way that it seemed to be no big deal to her, even if it was somewhat worrying.

Glynda looked troubled by her confession. Fallen out of the sky? Was there a Bullhead passing by? How on Remnant did that happen? She sighed in frustration and looked at the girl's clothing and weapons, finding them unique-looking.

"I see… So where do you come from, Miss Cinnamon?" Glynda asked as they exited the Emerald Forest and entered Beacon grounds. "Even if I told you, I doubt you would believe me." Cannella brushed the question off, even as she idly fiddled with her gloves and made sure there wasn't any dust on her clothes.

"Really? Try me. We'll need some sort of way to identify you, after all." Glynda retorted.

"Fortuna, I am from an isolated island called Fortuna." Cannella said absently, as if she wasn't there at the moment. "The town is governed by a religious organization known as the Order of the Sword. 99% of the population are devotees." She prattled off, clutching her right forearm, as if some old pain was reopened. "Fortuna is surrounded by high ramparts, and it has been cut off from the outside world for many years." She turned back to Glynda. "I doubt it would be on any of your maps."

That sounded very detailed. Glynda had been to many places across Remnant, but it was still a huge place. There could be cut off enclaves of civilization that took residence in areas where the natural environment deterred the Grimm. Either way, it was certainly interesting. She kept those details in her head as they made their way into the Academy and took the elevator up to the Headmaster's office.

As they walked in, Ozpin immediately spoke up.

"Ah, hello there. Quite the interesting weapons you have. I've never seen their like." Ozpin greeted, looking at the young girl with interest.

"I'm not surprised, you don't have '.45 Caliber Art Warks' here… Nor have you killed what would be required to make my weaponry." Cannella pulled a chair out from the front of his desk and took a seat, resting her arms on the armrest's as she leaned back. Taking in his hair, she tilted her head. "You wouldn't happen to have a Father with the last name Sparda, would you?" She inquired.

"That, I do not. Though, if you were looking for someone with white hair. I may know a certain family that may interest you. But that can wait. Tell me about yourself." Ozpin asked, setting a mug of hot cocoa down in front of her.

"I am Cannella Sparda, you may call me Cinnamon." She bowed slightly before she squared her shoulder and looked him directly in the eye. "Granddaughter of Sparda, Daughter of Vergil Sparda and Sister to Nero Sparda." She gestured to herself, introducing her bloodline. "I was born in Fortuna, presumably. I was left on an orphanage's doorstep and was named by the Matron herself." She gained a soft smile on her face, memories that weren't there before filling her mind.

She understood that she was not just Cannella nor John, she was a mix of both. "I was named after the colour of the blanket I was found in, Cinnamon, or as our local dialect would say, Cannella." She stopped to take a breath, leaving the floor open to Ozpin.

"I see you place great value on your blood-ties. Fortuna hm…? I've never heard of it. Where is it?" Ozpin asked, his face not betraying any underlying questions he had.

"It is an isolated island, and I've lived there my whole life. I honestly couldn't tell you where it would be on a map." She shook her head while shrugging her shoulder. "Nor do I place great value on my blood, I'm merely stating my linage. And I could explain why it would be important on Fortuna, but I know it holds no weight here." She relaxed further into her chair, the office smelled heavily of hot chocolate, she eyed the cup in front of her, and upon getting a nod from the man she gracefully took the cup into her hands.

"I see…" Ozpin paused, studying the girl's expression, body language and clothing style.

"Would you like to attend Beacon Academy, Miss Cinnamon?" He asked, noting the exasperated look of Glynda who stood behind Cinnamon.

"I don't see why not, I have nothing better to do at the moment. If you'll have me as a student." She took a small sip of the hot cocoa. She turned to look out the window, her face more neutral than the perpetual scowl that was on it before. "It might be a fun endeavour." She shrugged and placed the cup back on his desk.

"Well, the number of applicants could be an issue. But as I've decided to offer you this myself, I suppose I can make an exception. I hope you don't mind working in a team?" Ozpin asked, seeming to already think of a few team names.

"I don't do very well on Teams, nor did my Father or brother…" She paused, hesitation in her body and voice. "I suppose if it would make things easier on your end, I could work with a team." She eventually nodded, and agreed to work in a team.

"Fantastic. I believe I have a team in mind as well." Ozpin looked over to Glynda, who sighed and pulled out her scroll. "You'll meet them shortly. They're an… Excitable bunch, but very friendly too. Glynda, if you would." Glynda nodded, motioning Cinnamon to follow her.

"I'll guide you to your dorm room. Given you'll be in a five-person team, you'll have a larger room." Glynda stepped over to the elevator as she explained, Cinnamon calmly walking behind her, she stopped and turned enough to make eye contact with Ozpin.

"Thank you for the, opportunity." She turned back to the elevator and stood next to Glynda as the contraption started to descend. "The team assignment ceremony will be in about 20 minutes from now, please attend the ceremony to meet your teammates." Glynda fixed her glasses before the ding of the elevator allowed them to walk out in silence.

Down the hollowed halls of beacon they went, students of 2nd and 3rd year's chatting and new potential teams returning from the forest. Eventually they made their way to the end of a hallway in the dormitory.

"Luckily, we have a couple rooms for situations like these, where we find talents that must be nurtured and we just can't let them go." Glynda swiped her scroll across the door, opening it to reveal a room with 5 beds, 2 windows and an attached bathroom. "Down the hall to the left is the communal Kitchen, to our right is the bathroom." Glynda looked back to her scroll, noting the time left. "I fear that is all the time we have left, we should make haste to get to the ceremony on time." Cinnamon spoke up, already moving toward the door.

"Jaune Arc. Lie Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nora Valkyrie." Ozpin smoothly called team JNPR up to the stage, he waked as they all settled in line with hands behind their backs. He hoped, that his actions would not be another to his pile of mistakes. "The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as… Team Juniper. Led by… Jaune Arc." The crowd clapped for the team like they did the others, even laughing when Mr. Arc fell.

"Now, I have one last statement for your team and the rest of the school." Ozpin turned to the crowd. "Every so often, we encounter people of great talent, talent that should be nurtured to the best of our abilities, it is for this reason I am assigning Team JNPR a fifth member." The crowd burst out into murmurs, students question who it could have been.

The massive screens changed, showing Cannella from start to finish fighting with the Beowolfs and Ursa Major. "Cannella Sparda, single handily exterminated 7 Grimm, while not something to scoff at, she had done so with a contemptuous ease." He fixed his glasses. Team RWBY in the background all looked shocked at seeing the girl on screen walk up onto the stage, JNPR more so as she was now on their team.

"Welcome to Beacon, Miss Sparda, please show your teammates to their room." He rested a hand on her shoulder before dismissing everyone for the night.

[SPOILER="Devil Trigger"]

Imagine this but with human feet and instead of blue it's purple.

I was tryna find Female Vergil Devil Trigger art and this is quite literally the only thing I found that was remotely close.

And it was kinda what I envisioned in the first place.
