Chapter 21: Chapter 21: The Luna Pirates in the Land of Sweets
The Luna Pirates' ship, the Eternal Wing, sliced through the crystalline waters of Totto Land, the peculiar aroma of sweets and spices filling the air. Around them, islands crafted from candy, chocolate, and other confections dotted the landscape. Each island was a testament to the power and ambition of the Yonko Big Mom.
At the helm stood Thorfinn, his wings folded behind him and his fiery gaze fixed ahead. His presence radiated authority, his twin swords Enma and Ame no Habakiri hanging at his sides. The crew had come to Totto Land not out of curiosity, but with a purpose—a clash with Big Mom's crew was inevitable.
"Captain," said Enel, his lightning crackling faintly around his fingertips. "The candy-ship patrols have spotted us. They're mobilizing."
"Good," Thorfinn said coldly, gripping the hilt of Enma. "Let them come. It's time we make our presence known to another Yonko."
Kid smirked, his metallic arm glowing as he activated his powers. "Finally! I've been itching to smash something sweet."
The candy fleet approached fast. Ships made of hard candy and caramel, adorned with Big Mom's signature flag, lined up to intercept them. The sky above turned dark as Zeus, Big Mom's thundercloud homie, began to gather storm clouds.
From the leading candy ship, Perospero, the eldest son of the Charlotte Family, stepped forward. His candy-coated staff gleamed in the sunlight as he yelled, "Who dares trespass in Mama's territory without her permission?"
Thorfinn spread his wings, their fiery glow casting an ominous light over the waters. He stepped to the bow of the Eternal Wing. "We are the Luna Pirates. Tell Big Mom that Thorfinn, son of Oden, has come to speak with her—or fight her, whichever she prefers."
Perospero's face twisted in irritation. "Oden's son? Mama will enjoy devouring your soul."
The battle erupted. Crocodile unleashed a sandstorm that tore through the candy ships, while Enel's lightning shattered the sky, raining destruction. Kid formed a massive cannon out of scrap metal and fired it into the fleet, sending ships exploding into fragments of sugary debris.
Thorfinn leapt into the air, cutting through Zeus's lightning with a single swing of Ame no Habakiri, the blade humming with Haki. "If you're done with the appetizers," he shouted, "let's get to the main course!"
After obliterating the fleet, the Luna Pirates landed on the Chocolate Island, one of Totto Land's main territories. Word of their arrival spread quickly, and soon they were surrounded by members of the Charlotte Family.
"Captain," said Rasa, their navigator, as she examined the map of Totto Land. "Whole Cake Island is at the center. If we head there directly, we'll confront Big Mom herself. Are you sure about this?"
Thorfinn nodded. "We're here to send a message. Yonko or not, no one controls the seas entirely—not while we're around."
On Whole Cake Island, Big Mom received the news with maniacal laughter. "Oden's brat thinks he can waltz into my territory? Bring him here. I'll add his wings to my collection!"
Her children, including Katakuri, Smoothie, and Cracker, prepared for battle. Katakuri, calm and confident as ever, said, "He'll be no ordinary opponent, Mama. His bounty isn't a fluke."
Big Mom's eyes gleamed. "All the more reason to crush him. Let the world see what happens when you challenge me!"
The Luna Pirates stormed their way through the islands of Totto Land, each battle showcasing the crew's strength.
Enel turned an entire jellybean forest into a blazing inferno with a single lightning strike.Kid faced off against Cracker, smashing through the Biscuit Soldier army with sheer brutality.Crocodile outmaneuvered Smoothie, his sand slicing through her juice attacks.
Thorfinn, however, saved his strength for what lay ahead.
Finally, they reached Whole Cake Island. The grandeur of the castle, with its swirling candy towers and ominous aura, loomed over them. Big Mom awaited them on her throne, her children arrayed beside her.
"So you're the infamous Thorfinn," Big Mom said, her voice like thunder. "You've got guts, boy, I'll give you that. But guts won't save you here."
Thorfinn stepped forward, his Conqueror's Haki flaring. The sheer force of his presence cracked the floor beneath him, causing weaker members of the Charlotte Family to collapse unconscious.
"I didn't come here to bargain," Thorfinn said, drawing Enma. The blade crackled with black and purple lightning. "I came here to show you the future of the seas."
The clash between the Luna Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates began with an explosion of power that shook the island.
Kid and Katakuri faced off, their abilities pushing each other to their limits.Enel battled Zeus and Prometheus in the skies, his lightning battling fire and storms.Crocodile dueled Perospero, his sand eroding candy with deadly precision.
Thorfinn fought Big Mom herself. Their battle was a clash of titans, with Thorfinn's Haki-infused strikes meeting Big Mom's monstrous strength and Soul-powered attacks.
"You think you're strong, boy?" Big Mom roared, swinging Napoleon, her sword infused with her soul. "You're nothing but a shadow of your father!"
Thorfinn smirked, dodging her strike and countering with Divine Departure, a devastating attack that sent her crashing through the candy walls of her castle.
"I'm not just Oden's son," Thorfinn said, his voice steady. "I'm the man who will reshape this world."
As the battle raged on, the Luna Pirates proved their worth. Their teamwork, honed through years of training and hardship, allowed them to outmaneuver the overwhelming odds of the Charlotte Family.
By the time the dust settled, the castle lay in ruins, and Big Mom's influence had taken a significant blow. Thorfinn and his crew stood victorious, though bloodied and exhausted.
As they sailed away from Totto Land, the news of their victory spread, cementing their reputation as a crew capable of challenging even the Yonko.
Thorfinn, standing at the helm, gazed out at the horizon. "The seas are ours to claim," he said, his voice filled with determination. "One step closer to the throne."
