Chapter 69: CHAPTER 67
Jungkook didn't come back to play with Jimin, he didn't come back to eat dinner later that day. Taehyung explained them the news, taking short sips of the fish broth, his stomach refusing most of the food.
Jimin spoke up first, he celebrated Taehyung finally improving and didn't mention Tiger. He never liked him, but that doesn't mean he celebrated his death. Nonetheless, he didn't consider himself someone with the right to express his thoughts towards that matter.
Seokjin excused himself after, Jungkook needed to eat. The elder tried everything in his power to convince Jungkook, but the younger kept himself locked in his room, crying on Tiger's—Taehyung's—pillow.
Jungkook breathed deeply, it smelled like Tiger.
His mourning became agonizing.

"Good morning, who am I talking to?" Seokjin answers his phone, entering into the room of three.
"I'm the mayor's secretary. Am I speaking with Kim Seokjin?"
Seokjin takes a seat on the desk and crosses one leg over the other. "Yes, I'm Kim Seokjin."
"I contact you regarding the old factory's purchase. Are you still interested?"
"Yes, of course."
"Good. As a possible customer, you've the right to take a look at the maps and visit the establishment at least once before you decide."
"This is perfect, thank you. Do I require to come to the city council to receive the maps?"
"That won't be necessary. Can you tell me your email address? The mayor already digitised them for a better use now and in the future."

Seokjin runs downstairs when the call with the secretary ends.
"Perfect—Yoongs! We did it!"
Yoongi raises his eyebrows with a smile. "What's going on, cutie pie?"
"They sent me the maps of the factory."
Yoongi stands up and embraces Seokjin in a tight hug. "Shit, that's amazing!"
"We need to tell the others. We're finally getting to Mimi, Yoongs. That bitch will pay for everything -"
Yoongi kisses him, one hand cupping Seokjin's cheek while the other plays with his hair. "Cutie pie, you're amazing."
Seokjin hides his face on Yoongi's shoulder, a shade of pink painting his cheeks. Yoongi tilts his head to place a kiss on Seokjin's ear tenderly.
"Awww, can I join you?" a shirtless Hoseok comes out of the bathroom.
"Not now, babe. Jin has the maps."
"Whaaaat?! Does that mean I'll use my baby soon? What are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Yoongi chuckles at Hoseok's antics, but softly shakes his head. "We need to tell the others. And we need a plan."
"Oh my god," Seokjin takes the towel from Hoseok's hands and rubs his wet hair. "Seokie, you'll get sick."

Taehyung sits on the floor, his back leaned on the door. He keeps knocking softly with his knuckles.
"Jungkook . . . this is my room too, remember?"
Jungkook moves around the room, but he still refuses to open. In fact, he hasn't left the room since Tiger died four days ago. Taehyung exhales heavily and closes his eyes—
He whines as his back suddenly collides with the floor.
"Sorry," Jungkook breaths.
Taehyung frowns, looking at the male dressed all in black. He recomposes himself fast, blinking his eyes as if Jungkook standing in front of him were a ghost.
"Will you let me out?" Jungkook mumbles, shoulders dropped.
"Where are you going dressed like that? Are you going on a mission all alone?"
Jungkook doesn't dare to look at Taehyung in the eyes. On the other hand, the elder only notices his swollen and red eyes. Thanks to the black cap and black mask, that's the only feature visible on the younger's face.
Jungkook shakes his head. "Will you let me out? The room's all yours."
Taehyung frowns at the lifeless voice of Jungkook. Of course Jungkook doesn't have any reason to get mad at Taehyung, he isn't the one who spent days closed in the room without letting him in. Still, Taehyung's taken aback by the lack of emotions in Jungkook's voice.
The bear boy steps to a side and Jungkook mutters a quick "Thanks" before disappearing.
Taehyung stays still, resting a hand on the door frame. Jungkook's bed is nicely made, while the sheets in his are messily tangled and the pillow moved. Taehyung lets out a deep sigh, Why did I want to come in?
* * *
"Bubs, are you completely sure Jungkook didn't tell you where he went?"
Taehyung shakes his head, snuggling closer to Yoongi.
"Should we start looking through them without him? Kookie won't mind." Jimin proposes. "I'll talk to him later."
Seokjin and Namjoon share a quick look, and the leader nods.
Seokjin sent the digital maps to Yoongi, the screen on his laptop will make it easier for everyone.
"Tae, I need you to place close attention to the maps, alright? You and Jungkook were the only ones who actually made it inside."
Taehyung nods, changing to a crossed-leg position. He leans forward, his nose almost touching the screen.
Namjoon, seated on the other side of him, points at the screen. "Could you tell me which one of the entrances did you use?"
Taehyung narrow his eyebrows. "Uh . . ." he looks at the map for a few more seconds. "This one."
"Okay."
Yoongi indicates the entrance in the printed map Seokjin keeps on the table for the rest to see, and Seokjin marks it with a red pen.
Taehyung gasps, pointing at the screen. "Mimi and those men came from here."
After Yoongi showed Seokjin, he marks it as well.
Before Taehyung can open his mouth, Seokjin lets out a pitch gasp. "Look at this," he draws a line, following a hallway. "It's connected to the basement."
"Basement?" Hoseok looks through other versions of the map.
He hands Seokjin the only one they've got of the basement to have a better look.
"Bubs, do you remember where they took you?"
Taehyung shakes his head. "But it could be the basement, yes."
"What about the second floor?" Yoongi suggests.
Taehyung shakes his head. "The stairs didn't bring anywhere. Some of the were even destroyed. We couldn't open all the doors."
"The secretary told me all of them were closed for security and to avoid people entering."
"It didn't fucking work because Mimi and their men are there." Yoongi's blood boils, remembering her face. "We must kill them before they kill us."
"Or find us." Hoseok whispers to himself.
It reaches Jimin's ears and he whines, but Hoseok quickly wraps his arms around him protectively.
The front door slides open and a pale Jungkook steps in. He stares for a moment the boys and the mess on the table with all those papers, but he keeps walking towards the stairs.
"Kookie!" Jimin runs to him and holds his wrist. "Where were you?"
"I took care of myself, don't worry." he tries to smile, but his lips refuse to curve up.
"We got the maps and you should stay with us this is really important and we're running out of time because Mimi could actually find us and kill us any time." Jimin gabs. He takes a breath, "Stay with us, Kookie."
Jungkook lowers the mask, exposing his lips. "This is what I meant by taking care of myself."
"Oh."
Jungkook's lip piercing is back.
"If you don't mind, I'm going to sleep."
Jimin doesn't stop him this time, not because he doesn't want to, but because he didn't expect Jungkook to still act like a zombie. How close was him with Tiger?
"He needs time," Namjoon says calmly, "come here, we're almost done."
"I'll keep tracking them when we're done." Yoongi announces.
