Chapter 80: Chapter 77: The Crimson Spikes Of Diagon!
After knocking out Voldemort,
Mr. Mime charged at the Death Eaters—the enemies who had come to disrupt the business.
CRACK~
"Mr.Mime... Mr.Mime!!!..." {I like this feeling!!!}
With a huge grin on its face, one could tell that Mr. Mime relished the feeling of crushing bones as it struck with a devastating Focus Punch.

When the dust settled, Diagon Alley fell into a stunned silence.
The Aurors who had just arrived stood frozen, unable to believe the sight before them.
With the Death Eaters taken care of, Mr. Mime slowly turned back to its former self, its eerie battle aura fading into a friendly demeanour.
As if nothing had happened, it walked back inside Cauldron & Charm Apothecary, leaving the onlookers speechless.
As the dust settled, footsteps echoed from the first floor of Cauldron & Charm Apothecary.
Eileen, Hagoromo Gitsune, and Andromeda descended the stairs, stepping into the shop's main area.
They had heard the commotion earlier, but Hagoromo Gitsune had stopped them from interfering the moment she sensed the shift in Mr. Mime's aura after dealing with the Death Eaters.
Now, they took in the aftermath—Diagon Alley was dead silent, the Aurors stood frozen in shock, and Mr. Mime, having just finished its violent display,
strolled back inside with a cheerful, almost innocent aura, as if it hadn't just shattered bones moments ago.
Eileen let out a slow breath, still a bit tense.
"That... could've gone horribly wrong."
Andromeda nodded, rubbing her temples.
"At least it's over. I thought we were going to have a bigger mess on our hands."
Hagoromo Gitsune, however, remained perfectly calm, an amused glint in her golden eyes.
"Oh, please. You two worry too much."
She smirked.
"Did you forget who's in charge of this place? No matter what happens, Leo's existence alone ensures nothing truly dangerous will happen."
Andromeda shook her head.
"Still, I'd rather not deal with Aurors swarming us every time someone picks a fight."
Hagoromo Gitsune waved a hand dismissively.
"Relax. If anything, this just sent a message—no one should be dumb enough to try again."
Chuckle~
She chuckled.
Sigh~
"Besides, Leo is definitely going to hear about this."
Eileen sighed.
"Knowing him, he probably already knows."
"Then I suppose we don't need to report it,"
Hagoromo Gitsune teased.
"But... it would be fun to see his reaction."
Eileen and Andromeda exchanged a glance before finally relaxing.
The situation had been tense, but it was over now.
Hagoromo Gitsune, as always, had unwavering confidence in Leo, and that in itself was oddly reassuring.
As the three of them shared a light laugh, the atmosphere inside the shop returned to normal—though outside, Diagon Alley remained eerily silent, the Aurors still trying to process what had just happened.
Outside Cauldron & Charm Apothecary, the silence in Diagon Alley felt deafening.

Aurors who had arrived moments after the battle stood frozen, staring at the unconscious forms of Voldemort and his followers.
But more than that, their eyes were locked onto the strange figure that had just walked back into the shop—a bizarre creature with an eerie clown-like appearance.
"Wh-What was that?"
one Auror muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Some kind of magical beast?"
another suggested, eyes still wide in disbelief.
"I've never seen anything like it before…"
Just as a few Aurors hesitantly stepped forward, intending to approach Voldemort's fallen body, a firm voice cut through the tension.
"Stop right there."
The command came from Alastor Moody.
Unlike his future self in canon, this Moody was still young and carefree, untouched by the horrors of war.
"Don't get too hasty,"
Moody warned, eyeing the fallen Dark Lord and his followers.
"We're not making a move until we get orders from Minister Jenkins."
"____"
"But Moody, this is Voldemort! If we act now, we could—"
"I said hold it."
Moody's voice remained firm, but there was no hostility—just experience.
"Minister Jenkins made it clear. No one touches that shop or its affairs without direct orders from her."
The other Aurors exchanged uncertain glances.
No matter how dire the situation seemed, orders were orders.
One of them finally spoke.
"Why would the Minister delay action on something this serious?"
Moody's lips twitched into a knowing smirk.
Smirk~
"Let's just say… she has her reasons."
Because he knew the truth they don't, Minister Eugenia Jenkins had previously met with Leo under very unique circumstances—when he had personally intervened to save the Veela community.
That encounter had led to a secret cooperation between them, one that ensured that no hasty actions would be taken against Leo or his business, no matter how extreme the situation seemed.
Understanding the urgency, Moody turned to one of the Aurors.
"Go. Inform Minister Jenkins immediately."
With a quick nod, the Auror disapparated on the spot, heading straight for the Ministry.
As the remaining Aurors stood in uneasy silence, still trying to process the surreal battle they had just witnessed, Moody simply folded his arms, glancing back at the shop with an amused look.
"Well, Leo,"
he muttered under his breath shaking his head off.
"You sure know how to keep things interesting."
Hogwarts...
Inside the Defense Against the Dark Arts office, the warm glow of candlelight flickered across the room.
Leo, in a drugged state, had pulled Minerva into his embrace, his voice slurred as he mumbled,
"Minerva... so soft... I want to marry you..."
Minerva's face turned a shade of red she never knew was possible.
Her mind screamed at her to break free, but the warmth of Leo's body and the sheer absurdity of the moment left her frozen in place.
Hesitantly, curiosity got the better of her as she slowly reached out and poked his cheek.
Then his nose.
Her fingers trailed gently along his face as she muttered to herself in a daze,
"He really is... quite handsome."
Leo, oblivious, let out a soft sigh as sleep began to overtake him.
"____"
However, just as he was about to drift off, an abrupt system warning echoed in his mind.
[ Ding... ]
[Emergency Alert!]
[Host's shop, Cauldron & Charm Apothecary, is under attack by Voldemort and his minions.]
[Urgent Quest Activated!]
[ Ding... ]
[Quest: Protect the Cauldron & Charm Apothecary]
[Objective: Eliminate or incapacitate all intruders.]
[Rewards: Faith +0.1, Agility +1, Summoning Card (Nun - Conjuring series)]
Despite the urgency of the message, Leo, still heavily drugged, merely blinked in confusion.
His thoughts swam sluggishly as he chuckled and hiccupped, responding lazily to the system in his mind.
Hiccup~
'System... go ask Mr. Mime... to teach them a good lesson...'
[Affirmative. Command relayed to Mr. Mime.]
A giggle escaped Leo's lips as he hiccupped again.
Hiccup~
'Hehe... oh, and System... do that thing...'
[Executing undisclosed command...]
Diagon Alley...
Where Mr. Mime had just returned to the shop, only to emerge moments later carrying several thick, sturdy wooden sticks and a sharp knife in its hands.
The strange, clown-like creature moved with an eerie precision, placing the wooden sticks down on the ground before disappearing back inside.
This repeated several times as Mr. Mime fetched more sticks, stacking them in neat piles before setting to work.
Using the sharp knife with surprising dexterity, Mr. Mime began carving one end of each stick into a sharp point.
Once satisfied, it planted the sharpened sticks into the cobblestone road, arranging them in two parallel rows on either side, their pointed ends facing each other across the street.
Then, without pause, it continued crafting the other ends into equally sharp points.
Hagoromo Gitsune, watching with amused curiosity, finally decided to ask,
"Mr. Mime, what exactly are you doing?"
Mr. Mime paused for a moment, turned to her, and began gesturing with exaggerated hand signs while uttering its usual phrase,
"Mr. Mime!... Mr. Mime..." {'Master has given an order.'}
Hagoromo Gitsune raised an eyebrow, her fox-like smile widening.
"Oh? And what kind of order?"
Mr. Mime continued its handiwork, responding in the same manner.
"Mr. Mime!... Mr. Mime..."{'A lesson must be taught.'}
Eileen and Andromeda, who had come down from the pet section, exchanged glances, concern flickering in their eyes.
Meanwhile, Hagoromo Gitsune chuckled, leaning against the shop's entrance.
"Oh, I'm sure he does. And knowing him, he's probably enjoying the show already."
She wasn't wrong.
At that moment, back in Hogwarts, Leo was in his drugged state, giggling and issuing orders without realizing the extent of the chaos unfolding in Diagon Alley.
As the tense silence of Diagon Alley stretched on, Mr. Mime methodically carried out its task. With practiced precision, it retrieved sturdy, thick wooden sticks and a sharp knife from inside the shop.
The onlookers, still recovering from the chaotic battle, watched with curiosity and unease as the peculiar creature worked tirelessly.
It planted the sharpened ends of the sticks deep into the cobbled streets, aligning them in pairs on either side of the road.
With a nod of satisfaction, it then sharpened the exposed ends, making them lethal in appearance.
Hagoromo Gitsune, observing from the sidelines with an amused smirk, finally voiced the question on everyone's mind.
Smirk~
"What exactly are you doing?"
Mr. Mime turned to her, flashing its usual unsettling grin.
It moved its hands expressively while uttering its name in varying tones.
"Mr. Mime!... Mr. Mime..." {Master's orders. A warning.}
Understanding dawned on Hagoromo Gitsune, her smirk widening.
"Interesting... Leo never ceases to amuse."
Without further hesitation, Mr. Mime disappeared into the shop and returned with coils of thick rope.
It swiftly went to work, stripping the unconscious Death Eaters of their robes and masks, revealing their true identities.
Gasps~ Gasps~
"____"

Gasps~ Gasps~
Gasps rippled through the gathering crowd as the exposed faces of prominent pure-blood wizards—many from well-known families—came into view.
These were not just faceless minions but recognized figures of the Wizarding World, now disgraced and humiliated.
The public reaction was instantaneous.
The gathered witches and wizards erupted into enraged whispers, their shock turning into condemnation.
"They always hid behind their masks, thinking they were untouchable!"
one bystander spat.
"The Malfoys, the Rosiers… the Lestranges? Merlin's beard! Their families will never recover from this shame!"
another exclaimed.
The Aurors, standing by under Moody's command, exchanged uneasy glances.
The sheer brutality of the punishment was unlike anything they had witnessed before.
It wasn't just about defeating the Death Eaters—it was a calculated humiliation, a public reckoning designed to strip them of their power and instill fear in those who dared to follow their path.
Moody, his younger, less hardened self, let out a low whistle.
Whistle~
"Well, I'll be damned… This is going to shake the whole pure-blood hierarchy. Those families will never live this down."
One of the senior Aurors turned to him, hesitating.
"Should we intervene? This kind of punishment—"
Moody shook his head, crossing his arms.
"Minister Jenkins made it clear—we wait for her orders before making a move against anything related to that shop. Leo has the Minister's favor after what he did for the Veela. If we touch this now, it could turn into a political mess. Let's wait and see how this plays out."
As the Aurors stood back, the eyes of the Wizarding World turned toward the disgraced pure-bloods, impaled in the very heart of Diagon Alley.
The message was clear: there was a new force in town, and it did not forgive, nor did it forget.
As the commotion in Diagon Alley settled, the air remained tense, thick with the weight of what had just transpired.
The spikes, now adorned with the stripped bodies of the fallen Death Eaters, stood as grim warnings, their once-feared masks discarded at their feet.
The public, now fully aware of the identities of these so-called elites, erupted into whispers of outrage and disbelief.
The Aurors, though trained for battle, stood frozen at the sheer brutality of the scene.
They knew, without a doubt, that the families of these Death Eaters would never recover from this disgrace.
Their legacies were forever stained, their power irreversibly shattered.
Just then, the air crackled with the arrival of the Minister for Magic, Eugenia Jenkins.
Her sharp gaze swept across the scene, taking in the horror-stricken faces of the crowd, the horrified yet silent Aurors, and finally, the impaled bodies of the Death Eaters.
"____"
Sigh~
A deep sigh escaped her lips.
She had come as soon as she received the report—Voldemort had finally made a direct move.
Unlike his previous methods of lurking in the shadows, gathering followers in secrecy, today was different.
He had struck openly, and now, he lay defeated.
Not only him but his followers, too, all displayed like trophies of war.
Jenkins turned and made her way into the Cauldron & Charm Apothecary, her steps firm, yet the weight of the situation pressing on her shoulders.
Inside, she was met with the calm, ever-composed Hagoromo Gitsune.
Jenkins offered a nod in greeting before getting to the point.
"I will be taking Voldemort and his followers into Ministry custody,"
she stated, her voice carrying the authority of her office.
Hagoromo Gitsune merely shrugged, her golden eyes gleaming with amusement.
"Suit yourself,"
she said nonchalantly, knowing full well the deal Leo had struck with the Minister before.
This was merely politics in motion.
Jenkins wasted no time and stepped back outside, her eyes hardening as she turned to the Aurors.
"Take them into custody,"
she ordered, gesturing towards the unconscious Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
The Aurors immediately moved to obey, though none dared to touch the impaled figures left on the spikes.
The spikes, left untouched, would soon become a symbol.
A warning. A tale whispered in the alleys and recorded in the annals of wizarding history.
And as time passed, this gruesome display would be known as—The Crimson Spikes of Diagon.
