Football: What Happened To Going To The Nightclub? I Have To Score

Chapter 258: Chapter 258: The Return Of Cheats! Tottenham Have Been Abused

With Gareth Bale's possession ability, combined with the previously learned fusion of possession, everything had changed.

At this point, Su Luo was a monster in a match like the FA Cup. Tottenham couldn't handle his raids, and Trippier had become the weak link in their defense.

The game felt like military training, with Su Luo running circles around Tottenham. Pochettino stood on the sidelines, bewildered, unable to comprehend what was happening on the pitch.

Before the game, he and his coaching staff had conducted thorough analysis. They knew Lukaku was returning, and Conte would likely place Su Luo on the left wing. Based on this, they devised a detailed plan to contain Su Luo while launching a counter-attack down the right.

Everything was perfectly planned—in theory.

But when it came to reality, Su Luo didn't care about theory.

On the left wing, he was like a dragon in the ocean or the Monkey King in heaven—free to do as he pleased, causing chaos wherever he went.

"Su Luo receives the ball... he's up against Trippier again..."

"A few stepovers... sudden burst of speed! He's blown past Trippier! There's absolutely nothing Trippier can do to stop him!"

"Su Luo cuts inside... quick footwork! Oh, he sidesteps Wanyama too!"

"He's lining up the shot!"

"Oh! Lloris with another brilliant save! That was close!"

At White Hart Lane, the home crowd didn't even have the energy to mock Chelsea anymore. Instead, they followed a cycle of emotions—nervously leaning forward, holding their breath as Su Luo approached the goal, their hearts in their throats. When Lloris made a save, they exhaled with relief, clapping for their goalkeeper.

The pressure Su Luo was putting on Tottenham was something the fans had never experienced before. It felt like they were witnessing a horror movie unfold on the pitch.

Since Su Luo had burst past Trippier and scored the opening goal in the first half, this was already his third attempt. His first two efforts were saved by Lloris, and Vertonghen had blocked another shot. But now, with Su Luo fully in his groove, it felt like nothing could stop him. Energy surged from his feet to his head.

"It's back! The weapon of Karma is back!"

Su Luo had experienced this before in the match against Manchester City with that last free kick. Now, he knew that with enough momentum, he could trigger a goal.

With that in mind, he gestured to Willian for a short corner.

Tottenham's defense was on high alert, packed into the penalty area, but they had no idea what was about to happen next. Su Luo stood calmly, a slight smile on his face, as though he could see their fate unfolding from a higher perspective while they remained clueless.

"In the 26th minute, Chelsea wins a corner kick!" the commentator announced.

"Su Luo's relentless pressure on the left has Tottenham pinned back. Everyone is defending deep in the box."

"Willian lines up the corner... wait, it's a short one!"

"Su Luo receives it... cuts inside decisively! Trippier can't keep up, he's lost him again!"

"Dele Alli comes to help, but Su Luo dances past him too!"

"Quick feet, angled shot! It's coming fast!!"

The penalty area was so crowded, it looked like a packed tourist attraction on a holiday. Lloris, the Tottenham goalkeeper, was completely screened off. He had no idea what was happening in front of him. All he could see was Su Luo dribbling horizontally, clearly preparing to shoot. Lloris shifted his position, eyes locked on Su Luo.

Suddenly, a blur of black darted past Lloris before he could react.

Lloris instinctively raised an arm, trying to block it, but the next sound he heard was the ball hitting the back of the net.

Swish.

"What?!" Lloris thought. "Another goal?!"

He couldn't believe it. He had lost sight of the ball entirely. It was like a scene from a horror movie.

"The goal stands! Su Luo scores again!" the commentator exclaimed.

"That was a clinical finish! The ball threaded through the smallest of gaps!"

"Tottenham had four defenders trying to stop him, but the ball was just too fast! They couldn't block it!"

"Two goals in the first half! Chelsea are now on their way to the FA Cup final!"

What happened next was every Tottenham fan's nightmare. Chelsea had recently demolished Atletico Madrid 6-0 at the Calderon Stadium, and now White Hart Lane was facing a similar disaster. The once-impenetrable home ground was turning into a battlefield, and Su Luo was leading the charge.

Before the first half ended, Su Luo tore open the left side once more. Dele Alli, originally an attacking midfielder, had dropped back to defend alongside Trippier, with Wanyama supporting them. The three of them formed a wall on the left side.

But Su Luo's technical prowess was too much. He effortlessly bypassed one defender, quickly lofted the ball past the others, and accelerated. Trippier and Wanyama could only chase in vain as Su Luo did the unthinkable.

This time, he didn't cut inside.

Instead, he delivered a perfect left-footed cross.

"The ball arcs beautifully into the box!"

"Lukaku!! Header!!"

"GOAL!! 3-0!!!"

"Lukaku scores on his return! What a cross from Su Luo!"

Trailing 0-3 at halftime, Tottenham didn't make any significant adjustments during the break. Trippier, despite being Su Luo's former teammate, had no answers. Switching defenders wouldn't help either. The locker room was silent.

Coach Pochettino looked lost, questioning everything.

Did his tactics even matter anymore? All his hard work, all the plans, and strategies... none of it seemed to matter against Su Luo.

Defensive tactics were meant to limit superstars, but Su Luo had transcended that level. He was beyond anything Tottenham had prepared for.

Su Luo had become a force of nature, a player in god-mode.

20 minutes was all he needed to wreak havoc, turning Tottenham's right side into rubble.

Not long after the second half began, Su Luo struck again in the 53rd minute.

Tottenham couldn't cope with his unstoppable runs down the left wing. It seemed like every player—Wanyama, Dembele, and Vertonghen—rushed to block his path. But Su Luo quickly flicked the ball with his heel, turned, and accelerated.

No one could keep up!

With the explosive power of both Bale and Ronaldo combined, who could stop him?

A huge gap opened up in front of Tottenham's penalty area!

As Su Luo prepared to shoot, defender Alderweireld quickly stepped in to block. But Su Luo fooled him with a fake shot, skillfully shifting direction and breaking into the box!

Now one-on-one with Lloris, and from such close range, Su Luo was brimming with confidence.

"Go for the far corner!" he thought, "This is perfect!"

He struck the ball firmly into the back of the net.

"Another goal! Su Luo makes it 4-0! Tottenham look absolutely powerless!"

"Su Luo has now scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup!"

By this time, Tottenham had completely collapsed. They didn't even look like they were fighting anymore, overwhelmed by Su Luo's relentless attacks.

Fans at White Hart Lane began leaving the stadium, unable to bear watching their team suffer this kind of humiliation.

The next half-hour was essentially garbage time. Since Chelsea had played a league match recently and had another Premier League game in four days, Conte decided to rest some of his key players.

Among those substituted was Su Luo, who had practically carried the team forward by himself. He was still only 20 years old, yet already the backbone of this Chelsea squad.

At other clubs, players his age might still be stuck in the reserves, waiting for their big break. But Su Luo was already a central figure in one of the biggest clubs in the world.

He had clearly been exhausted in recent matches, so Conte wisely gave him a rest.

Despite Su Luo's absence, Tottenham's morale remained low. Mason Mount, who replaced him, linked up with Pedro to score another goal.

5-0!

Tottenham's FA Cup run ended with a crushing defeat, as Chelsea sailed into the final!

Chelsea's dream of winning four major titles was still alive: the League Cup was already won, they were all but confirmed as Premier League champions, they were in the FA Cup final, and had reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

This Chelsea team was striking fear into the hearts of opponents everywhere.

Could they really win a quadruple and make history as the first team to achieve it?

The #ChelseaQuadruple hashtag was blowing up on Twitter, sparking widespread debate.

When Chelsea first started fighting on all fronts, most neutral fans didn't believe they could pull it off. Winning four trophies in one season? Surely, they'd have to sacrifice one or two competitions along the way.

Even Chelsea's own fans were skeptical. But as the season progressed, more and more people were starting to believe. The quadruple suddenly seemed within reach.

Of course, some fans—like those of Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, and Manchester City—were hoping for a Chelsea slip-up.

"Barcelona in the Champions League semis, Manchester City in the FA Cup final... Chelsea won't have it easy," said one fan.

"Can they beat Barcelona? I doubt it. Messi will destroy them."

"The Champions League final will be Barcelona vs. Real Madrid!"

With the Champions League semi-finals against Barcelona just a week away, fans were already looking forward to the showdown, hoping Barcelona would bring Chelsea back down to earth.

Meanwhile, Manchester City defeated Arsenal 3-1 to set up a clash with Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley. The Premier League's top two teams were about to go head-to-head.

In the 35th round of the Premier League, Chelsea faced Everton, and Conte decided to rotate his squad in preparation for the upcoming clash with Barcelona. With the Premier League title almost secured, even Su Luo didn't play.

In that match, Eden Hazard finally returned from injury. After hearing Su Luo's words earlier in the season, Hazard had realized he needed to step up his game. With Chelsea becoming "Su Luo's team," Hazard felt a growing sense of urgency. If he didn't improve, his importance to the squad might diminish.

Motivated by this realization, Hazard had taken his training more seriously and finally made his comeback.

With Hazard's assists and some dazzling play, Chelsea defeated Everton 2-0, maintaining their 10-point lead at the top of the table with just four matches to go.

Chelsea's remaining fixtures were against Middlesbrough in Round 36, West Brom in Round 37, a rescheduled match against Watford, and the final game at home to Sunderland.

As long as Chelsea beat Middlesbrough, they would secure the Premier League title with three games to spare!

Buoyed by this mood, the Chelsea squad boarded a plane to Barcelona for the Champions League semi-final.

Su Luo was about to meet Lionel Messi.

Two of the world's best players, facing off on the grandest stage.
