Chapter 422: Cosmic Pirates
They looked at her with hope and concern. A brief silence passed before Nita continued.
"This is not the end. You must carve it into your hearts that Master Lein's goal must be realized. We will restore Earth and spread his name across the universe."
Her tone was calm, yet there was an undeniable sharpness in it. Every word she uttered carried a conviction that flowed into their hearts.
Upon hearing her words, all the core members seemed to awaken. Their gazes changed, now filled with determination and resolve.
"Ready, Princess!" they shouted in unison.
From this day forward, great changes would take place within the Divine Sky.

Amid the boundless sea of stars, a colossal trade caravan streaked across the cosmos at high speed, jumping from one portal to another with flashes of light piercing the darkness. The caravan's flagship was a massive vessel spanning tens of kilometers, layered with gleaming crystal shields and adorned with the insignias of various trade factions from across the universe.

Behind it, Cosmic Pirates pursued like a pack of ferocious predators. Their ships were smaller but packed with law-infused weaponry, firing waves of energy that vibrated through the void, creating dimensional fractures along the caravan's path.
Inside the flagship, tension filled the air. The navigators shouted as they continued to open space portals for dimensional jumps.
"Next portal in five seconds! Brace for impact!" a technician yelled, his hands moving rapidly over a holographic console.
The ship shook violently as an energy blast from the pirate ships struck the shield. Fine cracks began to spread along the outer barrier.
On the main deck, five rulers of King-level power stood firm, protecting the ship from the pirates' assault.
They stood at the edge of the deck, watching the approaching pirate ships.
Meanwhile, aboard the lead pirate ship, a tall man clad in black armor with glowing red eyes stood at the tip of the hull. He was Captain Drathos, a feared pirate notorious for stealing heaven-tier artifacts from cosmic ruins.
In his hand, a black staff adorned with a glowing crystal hovered, emanating an aura that seeped into space-time itself.
"You think you can run forever?" his voice echoed across the battlefield. With a single swing of his staff, the space around the caravan suddenly grew heavy and stagnant—like time itself had frozen!
A large man in a golden robe frowned.
"Damn it, that's the Staff of Spatial Stasis... We can't escape just like that."
A man clad in gleaming black armor raised his hand, lightning crackling as it struck the frozen void. But the energy was simply absorbed without effect.
A masked woman with a glowing green aura narrowed her eyes.
"If we don't destroy that staff, they'll capture us within minutes."
Captain Drathos let out a laugh, then extended his hand forward.
"Fire the cosmic cannon!"
From the pirate ship, a massive cannon infused with the power of laws was unleashed. Its blast resembled a miniature sun, spinning rapidly toward the caravan.
At the critical moment, a man with long white hair, his body cloaked in burning starlight, leaped into the air. His star-forged spear ignited, slicing through the void with a radiant trail.
"I'll handle this!" he shouted, hurling his spear directly at the incoming cannon blast.
BOOOOOM!
A cataclysmic explosion rocked the void, sending shockwaves that split the cosmic clouds apart.
However, Captain Drathos was far from finished. With a sly grin, he raised his staff higher.
"You think that's enough? Accelerate the spatial seal!"

Back aboard Lein's spaceship, the atmosphere suddenly turned somber.
Aleron's face was now covered in bright red kiss marks, remnants of the strange frog's lips. More than twenty marks decorated his face, making him look like a canvas full of scribbles.
His expression was far from the brightness he had before. His eyes were dull, his breath heavy, as if he had just suffered a crushing defeat in the gamble of his life.
Lein observed the scene in silence. He watched as Aleron bore the consequences of his own crazy idea. Strangely, the frog seemed to like him more than anyone else. Tauriel only got two kiss marks, the guards a few, while Efan and Laras remained completely untouched.
Now, Efan and Laras wore satisfied smiles on their faces. They looked at Aleron as if he were a treasure they could exploit at any moment.
Suddenly, laughter erupted among them.
"Hahaha... Feel that! I've waited thousands of years for this moment!" Tauriel exclaimed with undisguised satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Aleron remained silent. His sharp gaze was fixed on the spinning jug before them. Slowly, its rotation slowed… slower… until it finally came to a stop.
With a creaking sound, the lid of the jug opened.
A hideous face emerged from within—bulging, oversized eyes, a round head of dull greenish color, and thick, repulsive lips. The frog turned its head in all directions, its pupils spinning rapidly as if selecting its next victim.
"Frog…"
"Froog…"
Its raspy voice echoed, followed by a loud belch that shook the air.
Its gaze slowly shifted.
First, toward Efan. Then to Laras. Continuing to Tauriel, and so on. Until finally, those large eyes stopped directly on Aleron.
In an instant, Aleron's previously dull eyes gleamed sharply. But it wasn't the light of happiness—it was pure killing intent.
His hands clenched tightly. If that frog dared to open its mouth once more… there would only be one outcome—death.
But before he could move…
BOOM!
A massive explosion rocked the ship, causing its entire structure to tremble under the force of the impact.
The metal walls groaned, and warning sirens wailed, filling the air with a sharp and urgent sound.
A powerful shockwave erupted from outside, sending ripples of energy crashing against the ship's barrier.
Lein, Aleron, and Tauriel reacted instantly. Without hesitation, they summoned their respective defensive shields—Aleron's shield crackled with golden energy, Tauriel's shimmered with ethereal blue light, and Lein's radiated a calm yet unshakable power.
For a moment, silence followed.
Then, beyond the ship's window, something moved in the darkness.
