Chapter 402: Female Guardian
After ensuring that all the spectators were standing, Isabel raised her voice once more with enthusiasm, "Give a warm welcome to… Guardian Aleron and Guardian Tauriel!"
Cheers erupted as Isabel's voice echoed throughout the arena. Her hand lifted, pointing toward the two Guardians who had now become the center of attention. The spotlights followed her motion, illuminating Aleron and Tauriel brightly, ensuring that not a single eye missed their presence. Every guest, from high-ranking officials to common citizens, directed their gazes toward these two esteemed figures.
Aleron rose from his seat calmly, his movements exuding authority. His posture was upright, his gaze sharp yet warm. With a respectful gesture, he bowed at a 45-degree angle, first to the entire audience, then specifically to Tauriel, who sat across from him.
Tauriel, with an elegance that seemed almost otherworldly, rose from her seat. Her long gown shimmered under the spotlights, creating a breathtaking silhouette. She waved to the audience before gracefully bowing towards the central seats in the Human Earth faction's special area.
Isabel took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. In her heart, she smiled in satisfaction—there had been no mistakes in this welcoming ceremony. With the two Guardians honored properly, she could proceed with her task more at ease.
However, the cheers from the audience had yet to subside. In fact, their voices grew even louder, filling the air with cries of admiration.
"Look… the female Guardian!" a woman's voice shrieked among the crowd.
"My god… she's like a goddess descending from heaven! Is this the legendary elf from ancient myths?"
Isabel could hear every shout clearly, despite the deafening noise in the venue. With her master-level skills, her ears could pick up voices from all directions as if every whisper was meant for her.
Her eyes scanned the audience, and she immediately caught the fiery gazes of the Human Earth men. Their eyes were fixated on Tauriel, as though they were gazing at a rare gem newly discovered. Isabel scoffed softly, narrowing her eyes slightly. "Tch… men are all the same," she muttered inwardly, feeling both amused and slightly annoyed. Continue your journey with My Virtual Library Empire
Yet, she had to admit that their reaction was not exaggerated. Even as a fellow woman, she was captivated by Tauriel's beauty. There was something about her—a tranquility that radiated elegance, eyes that shone like stars in the night sky, and lips naturally rosy. Isabel had no doubt: Tauriel was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen.
The cheers continued, forcing Isabel to wait for a moment before finally reclaiming control of the event. After assessing that the enthusiasm had sufficiently settled, she prepared to introduce the next honored guests, this time from the Silent Forest Elves.
Maintaining her energetic tone, Isabel repeated the same technique. One by one, she called out the names of high-ranking officials from the region. The first to be introduced was an elf man with a firm expression. His long white robe, adorned with shimmering green leaf accents, glowed under the stage lights, emanating an aura that was hard to ignore.
"Give a warm welcome to Lord Lorin!" Isabel announced with vibrant energy.
Thunderous applause erupted, proving that the audience was eager to see more honored guests from the elves. Following Lorin, Isabel continued the introductions, calling out the names of high-ranking officials from the Silent Forest. Their number was significantly smaller than the guests from the Guandu Realm—only about twelve individuals. However, each name called was still met with undiminished enthusiasm.
This process lasted about five minutes, with Isabel maintaining her energy to ensure the festive atmosphere remained high. The event was still far from over, and she had to make sure every moment proceeded flawlessly.
At last, the long-awaited moment arrived. Isabel straightened her posture and directed her gaze toward the central area. All seats had been filled by important guests, except for the two main chairs in the center—reserved specifically for Lein and Nita.
Taking a deep breath, Isabel announced in a powerful voice that echoed across the entire arena, "Give a warm welcome to Lord Haikal Emanuel!"
Immediately, an elderly man with a strong build and sharp gaze rose from his seat. His warm smile shone as he respectfully bowed in all directions, greeting the audience before sitting back down. There was no exaggerated movement, no attempt to steal attention. Simple, yet filled with authority.
Meanwhile, in the special area of the Guandu Realm, Aleron glanced toward the other side, where the section for representatives from the Divine Sky Realm was located. The front row was fully occupied by twelve individuals seated in upright postures. The two seats in the center remained empty, signifying the awaited arrival of crucial figures.
"They're all… early-stage grandmasters?" Aleron muttered to himself.
A flicker of doubt crossed his eyes. He had traveled through many realms across the cosmos, yet never before had he seen a newly integrated world capable of producing so many grandmaster-level warriors. Something unusual was at play here.
"What secret does this child hold?" he wondered.
His curiosity resurfaced, reminding him of an old tale told by Elder Wen about a mysterious young man who provided a blessing elixir. At the time, Aleron had dismissed it as mere luck. But now, he realized he had been mistaken.
Fortunately, he had never stood against that young man.
Aleron's gaze scanned the individuals seated in the front row. Each of them emanated a distinct aura, their unique powers differentiating them from one another.
Suddenly, his eyes locked onto a woman exuding an aura of chilling frost. He recognized her instantly.
"That woman… isn't she the guardian of the Ascension Stairway?" he murmured.
On stage, the host raised her voice once more. "Give a warm welcome to Hana!"
The silver-haired woman rose from her seat, stepping forward with graceful movements that carried a faint icy chill. Calmly, she bowed her head in greeting to the audience.
Aleron gave a small nod. At least now, he knew her name.
Yet, his observation was far from over. At the end of the row, his eyes landed on a far more intriguing figure—a young girl clutching an owl plushie in her lap. She looked adorable and innocent, yet the aura she emitted was overwhelmingly oppressive.
"Sixteen years old?" Aleron whispered in astonishment.
Not a single one of these twelve individuals appeared old. They were all still young, some not even reaching a hundred years of age.
Silently, Aleron took a deep breath.
"It was the right decision to listen to Elder Wen's advice," he thought.
On the other side, Elder Wen, who had been sitting comfortably, suddenly felt his nose itch. He sneezed lightly, then glanced left and right with a confused expression.
"Did someone just mention my name?" he muttered before refocusing on the introductions of the Divine Sky Realm dignitaries.
