FGO System in the Type-Moon World

Chapter 15: Chapter 015: You Think It’s Over?

There was one night left before the official start of the Holy Grail War.

Tonight—

Most Masters would be summoning their Servants.

But apart from Reiji and the Tohsaka family—

None of the other Masters had any idea what was really happening.

This Holy Grail War—

For them, it was a trap.

The current situation was already abnormal.

It wasn't just the fact that Berserker and Caster shared the same Master—something almost unheard of in a Holy Grail War.

The real shock was that an Assassin-class Servant had already been eliminated before the war had even begun.

But in some ways, this was actually a good thing.

With Kirei Kotomine out of the picture, the Tohsaka family would be able to assert even more control over the Church's influence.

Meanwhile, Tohsaka Tokiomi had isolated himself in his underground chamber—

Preparing to summon his ultimate trump card.

However—

At that very moment, something unexpected was happening at the Church.

A Fatal Mistake

For most Masters, even if they were attacked by an Assassin-class Servant, they wouldn't immediately know who the enemy's Master was.

But Reiji Souma was different.

As someone who knew the story, he immediately connected the dots.

There was no way this wasn't orchestrated by the Tohsaka family.

Still, Tokiomi was busy summoning his Servant—

So Reiji would deal with him later.

For now—

He had other targets.

Kotomine Kirei and Kotomine Risei.

They had made a move against him.

And now—

It was time for payback.

Did they think they could just attack and walk away?

That they could simply move on, as if nothing happened?

Did they believe only the winners had to secure their position, while the losers could just retreat without consequences?

Ridiculous.

Reiji wasn't a traditional magus.

He didn't care about status, rules, or diplomacy.

His goal was simple—

To live freely and authentically.

If someone attacked him—

Then they had to be prepared to die.

And so—

While the other Masters were busy summoning their Servants…

No one realized that two bounded fields had already surrounded the Church.

The Church—Trapped Like Rats

Standing atop a skyscraper, Zhuge Liang overlooked the Fuyuki streets below.

His expression remained calm, as if he had seen this all before.

But he didn't dwell on the nostalgia.

Right now, he had a mission to fulfill.

And to him—

This was entirely justified.

After all—

They struck first.

Reiji's retaliation was only natural.

With that in mind—

Zhuge Liang lowered his gaze, his fingers tracing intricate symbols in the air.

A low voice echoed from his lips.

"Stone Sentinel Maze."

For the Church, This Was the End

Without warning—

A thick mist engulfed the entire Church.

A chilling sensation spread—

As if the world itself had rejected them.

They were completely cut off from the outside.

By the time they realized something was wrong—

It was already too late.

Then—

From within the mist—

Two blood-red lights flared to life.

And from the shadows, a nightmare made flesh emerged—

A warrior from the depths of hell, wielding a monstrous, fanged spear.

At that moment—

The Church was no longer a place of faith and worship.

It was now—

A battlefield straight out of myth.

A voice echoed from an unknown direction—

"Kill them, Berserker."

A voice like a devil's whisper.

A voice that commanded slaughter.

And the black beast obeyed.

Against an enemy Servant, no human could possibly survive.

But Reiji had given an additional order—

Only One Was Allowed to Escape

Once the battle was over, Reiji, Tamamo-no-Mae, and Zhuge Liang appeared beside Berserker.

Tamamo sighed, peering through the mist.

Her gaze settled on a single fleeing figure.

Kotomine Kirei.

She glanced at Reiji with mild exasperation.

"Master, you're just going to let him go?"

Reiji scoffed coldly.

"I'm not letting him go.

I'm sending him back to deliver a message to Tohsaka Tokiomi."

"I want him to hear the news—

Right when he thinks he's summoned his trump card."

"I want him to experience utter despair."

Satisfied with his reasoning, Reiji turned his gaze to the lifeless body of Kotomine Risei.

A flicker of amusement crossed his face.

"Besides, this little mission had another benefit."

With a swift motion, he tore open Risei's sleeve—

Revealing a full arm covered in Command Spells.

A triumphant grin spread across his face.

"These Command Spells are mine now."
