FGO cast reacts to Solo Leveling

Chapter 3: If I had another chance

After the tension-filled ending of Episode 1, the entire group sat in a mixture of anxiety and relief. The atmosphere was heavy as everyone tried to process the danger Ritsuka Fujimaru's counterpart faced.

Suddenly, the ominous silence was broken by a loud, lazy voice projected across the screen.

Mr. X:

"Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the show. Anyway, I was a bit... let's say, lazy, and forgot to add the last members to the story. So let me fix that real quick."

Before anyone could react, Gilgamesh crossed his arms and scoffed, his voice cutting through the air like a blade.

Gilgamesh:

"You dare admit to laziness, mongrel god? Do you expect us to accept such incompetence? If you are to play at being a god, at least show the dignity befitting one."

To everyone's surprise, Mr. X didn't retort. Instead, he chuckled awkwardly.

Mr. X:

"Fair enough. I'm working on it, King of Heroes. But cut me some slack, okay? Not everyone is prefect."

Gilgamesh raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed but letting the matter drop.

Suddenly, a bright light flashed, and three familiar figures materialized before the group.

Caster Irisviel, Magical Girl Illya, and Assassin Emiya stepped forward, their eyes scanning the room.

Ritsuka, holding Draco carefully in his arms, greeted them with a tired smile.

Caster Irisviel:

"Oh, Master! You're safe!" Her face lit up with relief, and she rushed forward to hug him. But her attention quickly shifted to Illya. "Oh, my sweet Illya!"

Illya immediately protested as Irisviel swept her into a tight embrace, lifting her off the ground.

Magical Girl Illya:

"W-Wait, stop! I'm not your Illya! I'm from a different timeline! Put me down!"

But Irisviel was undeterred, stroking Illya's hair as if she were her own.

Caster Irisviel:

"It doesn't matter, my dear. Whether you're from this world or another, you are still my precious Illya. I'll protect you no matter what!"

Illya huffed, her cheeks puffing in indignation, but she didn't push her mother away.

Meanwhile, Assassin Emiya observed the scene with a cold, calculating gaze.

Assassin Emiya:

"Master, I can feel it. My powers are sealed. It's not just me—this is affecting everyone here. What's going on? Is this another strange Singularity?"

His sharp eyes shifted to Draco, still nestled in Ritsuka's arms.

Assassin Emiya:

"And who—or what—is that?"

Ritsuka adjusted his grip on Draco, who looked entirely unbothered by the tension.

Ritsuka:

"This is Draco. She's... a former Beast. But don't worry, she's on our side now."

Assassin's expression darkened immediately. Without hesitation, he drew his daggers and leaped toward Draco, aiming for her throat.

Assassin Emiya:

"She's a Beast! We can't take that risk. Let me end it now!"

But just as his blade was about to strike, Assassin froze mid-air. His body was suspended as though held by an unseen force.

Draco tilted her head, entirely unfazed, and smirked.

Draco:

"Well, well. You're quite bold, aren't you? Yes, I'm a Beast, and yes, I kidnapped Master Ritsuka a few days ago. Who knows? I might kill him someday... or maybe not."

Assassin's eyes burned with anger as he struggled against the invisible force holding him.

Assassin Emiya:

"Master, we cannot trust her! Let me deal with this threat!"

Ritsuka, though clearly confused, sighed and shook his head.

Ritsuka:

"Assassin, stop. Draco may have been a Beast Before, but she's proven herself. She's not our enemy, and good girl."

Draco, clearly enjoying the chaos, leaned in and bit Ritsuka's cheek, drawing a yelp of pain from him.

Ritsuka:

"Ow! What was that for?!"

Draco:

"For calling me a 'good girl.' Don't get too comfortable."

As Ritsuka rubbed his cheek, Irisviel and Illya rushed to their side, both worried about the unexpected bite.

Before anyone could react further, a deep, commanding voice echoed across the room once more.

Mr. X:

"Assassin, causing trouble again, are we? Do you really want to tempt me? Let me say this again, you are nothing but bunch of meat in my hands. Or do you want me to Harm the people who loves you. Ohh I sound as evil villain didn't i?"

Suzuka gozen says "Yeah, you sound as thrid rate villain?"

Mr. X

"My bad"

Assassin froze, his eyes wide with panic.

Assassin Emiya:

"No! Absolutely not!"

The thought of Irisviel, Ritsuka and Illya or any illya face girl getting harm was enough to make him retreat. He lowered his daggers, glaring at big screen with barely restrained fury.

Assassin Emiya:

"Fine. But don't think I trust that Beast or you."

Mr. X:

"Good choice, 'Kirituuuu.'"

The subtle mocking in Mr. X's voice only added salt to the wound

Assassin's eyes burned with fury as he floated mid-air, held in place by Mr. X's unseen force.

Assassin Emiya:

"How did you know? Who are you, bastard? Are you the one who trapped Master and everyone else here? You dirty coward!"

His outburst echoed through the room. Yet, as Mr. X remained unbothered, Assassin's anger began to morph into unease.

Mr. X:

"Well, Assassin, I could give you a long-winded explanation, but let's skip the formalities. If you keep causing a mess, I will play your life story for everyone here—your Master, Illya, and even the others. Every tragic detail, every regret. How about that, Kirituuuu?"

Assassin froze, his composed mask cracking in an instant. His body trembled slightly as his mind raced. The mere thought of Ritsuka or Illya learning about his past horrified him.

Assassin Emiya (yelling):

"No! Absolutely not! Bastard"

Ritsuka, holding Draco carefully in his arms to prevent her from biting again, looked at Assassin with a mix of confusion and concern.

Ritsuka Fujimaru:

"What are you saying, Assassin? I want to know more about you."

Seizing the moment, Illya, still nestled in Irisviel's arms, spoke up in a curious yet firm tone.

Magical Girl Illya:

"Yes, I want to see your life, Mister! You look so much like my father, after all."

Assassin's eyes widened in panic. He instinctively turned to Illya, shaking his head vehemently.

Assassin Emiya:

"I don't look like your father! You've got it wrong!"

His denial was almost comically exaggerated, and the other Servants in the room easily saw through his pathetic attempt to deflect. The silence that followed was broken by Goredolf as he stood, his commanding voice cutting through the tension.

Goredolf Musik:

"Assassin, enough of this nonsense. You're not allowed to make a mess here. Just sit down and watch the screen with the rest of us. Mr. X did promise to show us the future of our world later, after all."

Ritsuka nodded in agreement, trying to calm the room.

Ritsuka Fujimaru:

"Exactly. He said so earlier. I don't think Mr. X is a bad guy—at least, my instincts tell me he isn't."

After a long pause, Assassin finally relented. With a frustrated sigh, his body was lowered to the ground. Begrudgingly, he walked to a corner, putting as much distance between himself and the others as possible.

Before Assassin could fully isolate himself, Irisviel approached with Illya still in her hands, a radiant smile on her face. She sat beside him, ignoring his glare, and placed Illya gently on her lap.

Assassin Emiya:

"…What are you doing?"

Caster Irisviel (cheerfully):

"Sitting here, of course."

Mr. X (mockingly):

"That's right, Ms. Irisviel. If Assassin gets out of line, let me know—I'll play his life story for everyone!"

Assassin's face contorted with rage as he yelled back.

Assassin Emiya:

"BASTARD! Stop messing with me"

But Irisviel simply smiled, unbothered, and thanked Mr. X.

Caster Irisviel:

"Thank you, Mr. X. I'll be sure to let you know if he misbehaves."

Illya, feeling smothered, tried to wriggle free from Irisviel's protective embrace.

Magical Girl Illya:

"Let me sit by myself, Mom looking lady! You're too clingy!"

Caster Irisviel:

"Not a chance. A mother's job is to protect her daughter, even if you're from another world!"

The humorous family drama drew chuckles from some of the group, though Assassin clearly wasn't amused.

In the corner, Habertrot rolled her eyes, leaning on her oversized needle.

Habertrot:

"This guy's acting is so pathetic. It's obvious he cares about Ritsuka, Irisviel, and Illya, but he's acting like a total tsundere."

Gilgamesh, watching the scene unfold, merely sighed and shook his head.

Gilgamesh:

"Pointless nonsense. Let's move on to something worthwhile."

As everyone finally settled down, the screen flickered back to life. A deep voice boomed through the room.

Mr. X:

"Now that the family drama is over, let's continue. Episode 2... begins!"

[The statue looking at all of them with its eyes glowing and ready to attack them any time it want.

Chaos took over between hunters.

Mob: What on earth is that thing...

Mr. Song :Everyone, don't move. If we move rashly, the statue will attack again!

Hearing his words everyone became silent but fear and confusion took over their minds. Few hunters are dead because of the statue attack.

Ritsuka saw Ophelia still paralyzed due to fear. He tried to wake her but Mr. Song beside him said. Thanked Ritsuka for alerting them. Then Ritsuka saw mr. Song lost his arm. Due paralyzed Ophelia can't heal him. She is weak minded even as B rank healer she still participated in only simple rank dungeons. Song know this is not e Rank dungeon due to his experience in b Rank dungeons. This must be A rank dungeon.

The statue looking at them with same expressionless face. ]

Caster Irisviel:

"That giant statue… it's mocking them. You can see it in the way it looms, expressionless but somehow still condescending."

Assassin Emiya:

"They're all going to die. It's not a question of if, but when. That thing doesn't seem like something you can outsmart or outrun."

Magical Girl Illya:

"I understand that this is another world and a different version of Master, but… seeing them in this much danger makes me worried. What if that were our master Ritsuka?"

Charlotte Corday:

"Oh no, he lost his hand… That poor man. How will he continue as a hunter like this?"

Ashiya Douman (grinning):

"Haha! A hunter missing a hand? How utterly useless. He'll never be able to hold a weapon again. Well, maybe he'll make a good scapegoat for the others."

Kadoc Zemlupus:

"Douman, that's enough. The guy deserves some credit—his command in such a tense situation is admirable. Keeping everyone from panicking isn't easy, especially when staring death in the face and lost his hand."

Koyanskaya (sneering):

"Tch. I'm completely disappointed in this Ophelia. This version is even more pathetic than ours. Paralysis in a situation like this? What good is she as a healer? I hope she does die—at least then she won't be a liability anymore."

Jeanne d'Arc (Alter):

"As much as I hate to agree with her… Koyanskaya's right. Ophelia's like one of those annoying waifus in bad stories who causes trouble for 300 chapters, only to finally get killed off to make the protagonist stronger."

Ritsuka Fujimaru (cutting in):

"Not everyone's cut out to be a hero, Jeanne. People freeze up when they're scared. I wasn't brave either when I started on this path. I was terrified every time I stepped into the unknown."

Jeanne Alter (grumbling):

"Tch. Don't get all preachy with me, Master. I didn't say you were weak."

James Moriarty (thoughtfully):

"There's something about that statue. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something feels off. It's not just a guardian—it feels… aware."

Artoria Saber: But I'm impressed Mr. Song can tell this is A rank dungeon.

Gilgamesh: So all monsters upto B-rank are weaklings, pathetic.

[Ritsuka says The commandments of the Cartenon Temple

written on the stone.

First, worship the God.

Second, praise the God.

Third, believe the God.

Those who do not abide

by these commandments

will not leave this place alive.

Ritsuka says the statue is the god here.]

Servants' Reactions

James Moriarty (chuckling, adjusting his glasses):

"I must admit, I'm impressed. This parallel Ritsuka figured it out so quickly. He has the same sharp instincts and quick thinking as our Master. Perhaps he's cut from the same cloth."

Mandricardo (tilting his head):

"What exactly did he figure out? It's just a creepy statue following some creepy rules, right?"

James Moriarty (smiling enigmatically):

"Ah, Mandricardo, my boy, let's not spoil the fun. Watch and you'll understand. It's always best to see the deductive process unfold in action."

---

[Goredolf's Narration

Suddenly, Goredolf's voice interjected, the screen transitioning to a brief montage of the history behind this eerie and hostile world.

Goredolf's Voiceover:

"More than a decade ago, portals that could connect to a different dimension suddenly appeared in the world.

Abnormal phenomena began occurring all over the globe. These phenomena gave birth to a new class of individuals: Awakened, who are commonly referred to as hunters.

Hunters have the responsibility of entering the dungeons formed within these portals and eliminating the magical beasts that reside within. However, hunters' abilities are fixed upon awakening and cannot be improved further.

Still, not all dungeons are created equal. Some harbor horrors beyond comprehension—monsters that bring nothing but despair to those unfortunate enough to face them."]

---

Servants' Comments

Magical Girl Illya (hugging Irisviel tightly):

"This is like one of those creepy horror movies where no one gets out alive. I don't like it!"

Assassin Emiya (crossing his arms):

"Harsh world, yes. But even so, it's still preferable to ours. At least these hunters don't have to deal with dying repeatedly just to win."

---

Enter: The Robot

A sudden mechanical clatter echoed through the viewing space as an old-fashioned, steam-punk-styled robot rolled into the room. It carried trays filled with freshly-popped popcorn, distributing them with mechanical precision.

The tension momentarily dissipated as everyone stared at the peculiar sight.

Ritsuka Fujimaru (smiling):

"Thanks, buddy."

He took a bag of popcorn from the robot's claw and gave it a small nod of gratitude. The robot made a mechanical chirping sound in response, moving to serve the other Servants.

Mandricardo (munching on his popcorn):

"Well, I guess we're all set to watch whatever crazy thing happens next."

Jeanne Alter (grumbling):

"Tch. I still don't trust this Mr. X guy, but at least he knows how to keep us entertained."

The screen flickered again, signaling the next scene in the dungeon. All eyes turned back, the brief moment of levity replaced by mounting anticipation.

[Scene Shift: A Japanese School

The screen faded into a brightly lit classroom, bustling with students. A girl entered, wearing a pink sweater with a hood. She pulled it down, revealing the unmistakable youthful face of Sei Shōnagon. Her energetic demeanor filled the room as she casually strolled to a desk and sat beside another girl with a striking resemblance to Illyasviel von Einzbern.

Sei Shōnagon (grinning):

"Illya, your brother's a hunter, right?"

Illya (perking up, a hint of pride in her tone):

"Right! But… well, he's just an E-rank hunter. He always ends up coming home covered in wounds. Last time, he was completely wrapped in bandages! But why do you ask me this?"

Sei (shrugging):

"No reason. If it were me, I wouldn't have ended up like that."]

---

Servants' Reactions

Douman (dramatically rolling his eyes):

"Mmmnnmmm, why is this woman on the screen? I dislike her already. I hope a dungeon appears in that school!"

Before Douman could utter more nonsense, Edmond Dantes swiftly kicked him, sending him stumbling across the room.

Dantes (scowling):

"Don't wish for the deaths of innocent students, you fool."

Nero Claudius (pointing at the screen, intrigued):

"Umu! So this is what our Sei Shōnagon might have looked like in her youth. How delightful!"

Illya (Fate counterpart, jumping up excitedly):

"Wait, wait, is that me? I'm my Master's counterpart's sister?! That's so cool! I mean, I'm happy, and I always wanted to be his little sister anyway!"

Caster Irisviel (smiling warmly):

"I wonder who their parents are in this world. It's fascinating to think about parallel lives."

Amid the lighthearted chatter, Assassin Emiya sat silently, his expression grim. His sharp eyes studied the screen, piecing together implications that only he seemed to notice.

Ritsuka Fujimaru (smiling softly):

"I'm glad that in another world, my counter part have such a good sister. It's nice to see them have good bonding."

Hearing his sincere words, Illya's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but she couldn't hide the shy smile that crept across her face.

Illya (mumbling, turning away):

"I-It's nothing special… but, thank you, Master."

---

[Scene shift

As everyone fearing what to do. Suddenly one of them with his enchanted abilities rushed towards the door. But Just like before in a second he got hit by lazer light attack and turned into Ash. Seeing this , all of them horrified.

'mr. Song is correct, this is highest level dungeon'

Mr. Song: We lost 2 healers already by that statue attack before and remaining one is weak minded. It will be over if anyone gets injured.

Ritsuka noticed the statue can kill them at any time if it want but it didn't. He was thinking and he remember commandments of the Cartenon Temple

written on the stone.

He got realisation.

Ritsuka: he is God. This dungeon has its own rules.

Mr. Song: What... what are you doing?

Ritsuka: If I'm not wrong...

Then he stood up but Mr. Song tried to stop him then he saw the determined eyes of Ritsuka. And didn't stop Ritsuka.

Just as Ritsuka stood up the statue eyes moved and emitting light implying ready to attack but Ritsuka just in time bend his body down to a certain Hight.

His breathing is unstable due to fear. But his experiment successful and the statue didn't attack him. ]

---

Servants' Reactions

Tiamat

"Mom is sad to see them killed so mercilessly…"

Her sorrowful tone prompted Ritsuka to gently take her hand, offering a silent gesture of comfort.

Ishtar (crossing her arms, visibly frustrated):

"Even if he had combat skills, it wouldn't have mattered! That guy was vaporized instantly. He should've at least realized the gap between him and that statue!"

Boobhan Sith (rolling her eyes):

"Exactly. That bastard statue's killed five hunters already, and none of them even noticed what was happening—except for Ritsuka. Typical humans."

Goredolf (throwing his hands up):

"It's GOJOVER! They were doomed the moment they broke the rules. Absolute amateurs!"

Barghest (snarling):

"That weak-minded healer girl has no business being in a hunter's job. Leave it to those who can handle it!"

Barghest (adding with a grunt):

"Still, I'll give it to Mr. Song. Even after losing his arm, the guy didn't crumble under fear. That's some serious backbone."

Barghest (softening slightly, glancing at the screen):

"And Ritsuka… he always had that same determination to survive. He's thinking clearly even in a nightmare like this."

Mélusine (leaning forward, eyes wide):

"Wait, wait, wait—what is maater counter part doing?!"

Ritsuka (from the audience, his voice steady):

"He's testing something. Trying to confirm if his guess is right."

Oberon (mockingly dramatic):

"THIS idiot is risking his life on game theory. JUST A GAME THEORY! What a hero."

As the giant statue's glowing eyes locked onto Ritsuka, several Servants tensed in unison.

Castoria, Cnoc, Habertrot, Morgan, Meltryllis, and Jeanne Alter all stared at the screen, their expressions frozen in fear.

When the attack didn't come and Ritsuka managed to survive his gamble, their collective relief was almost palpable.

Castoria (placing a hand on her chest, exhaling deeply):

"Thank goodness… He's safe, for now."

Jeanne Alter (crossing her arms and muttering):

"Tch. Don't scare us like that, idiot…"

Meltryllis (pretending not to care, though visibly less tense):

"Hmph. Lucky guess, that's all."

Morgan (smiling faintly, her voice quiet):

"Still… impressive, as always."

The scene shifted again, leaving the group eager—and slightly nervous—for what would come next.

[After understanding the situation he said to everyone.

Ritsuka: Everyone. Kneel to the statue! As long as our heads are below a certain height, it won't attack. This is probably the meaning of the first commandment.

Mob: stupid idiot i will kick your ass if you joke now.

Mob: shut up Ritsuka

Mr. Song: Are you sure?

Ritsuka: Yes, sort of...

Ritsuka said with doubt. Then mr. Song made other listen and made everyone do as he did. Most didn't believe Ritsuka and wanted to beat him. Then suddenly the statue eyes become normal.

Everyone saw it but suddenly the statue gives a Terrifying smile.

Random mob: Its expression is terrifying.

Random mob: Its expression changed.

Random mob: It's not attacking us.]

---

Assassin Emiya (calm, with a slight nod):

"Good thinking from Ritsuka. But that man who keeps shouting at him is becoming a real liability. His aggression is only going to worsen the situation."

Edmond Dantès (arms crossed, stern):

"Indeed. He never believed Ritsuka to begin with. His anger is misdirected, driven by the loss of his comrades. It's dangerous to have someone like that in this kind of situation."

Ritsuka (sighing, thoughtful):

"I don't blame him. My counterpart essentially asked them to kneel before their friends killer. After losing friends, that's a hard thing to accept, especially when all I had was a guess. There's a 99% chance it could've gone horribly wrong."

Draco (leaning forward with interest):

"And let's not forget—your other self is the weakest among them. They clearly look down on him, so why would they believe his words without question?"

Ishtar (smirking):

"That's a fair point. People always underestimate the underdog."

Douman (grinning wickedly):

"Mmmmm, I must say, this statue is quite fascinating. I could learn a thing or two from its methods of inspiring fear."

Artoria Pendragon (Lancer, with an approving nod):

"Mr. Song managed to convince the others to follow Ritsuka's words. That kind of leadership is commendable."

Artoria Saber (smiling softly):

"It's not easy to unite a group in the face of despair. His experience as a hunter truly shines here."

---

Reactions to the Statue's Creepy Smile

As the screen displayed the statue's terrifying, unnatural smile, the mood in the room shifted.

Artoria caster closed her eyes seeing that smile.

Tamamo-no-Mae (hiding behind her hands):

"Waaah! That smile is downright cursed! Who thought it was a good idea to make something so creepy?!"

Suzuka Gozen (shuddering):

"Like, seriously! That's some next-level nightmare fuel!"

Jeanne d'Arc Alter (gritting her teeth):

"Tch. I hate it. I hate everything about it. Burn it. Burn it to ash."

Habetrot (trying to remain calm but failing):

"I-I didn't think statues could smile like that… Why did it have to smile?!"

Cnoc (grimacing):

"Even I'm unnerved by this… thing. That's why I hate horror movies."

Caster Irisviel (covering her mouth):

"How horrifying… That smile alone could break someone's spirit."

Illya (clutching Irisviel sleeve):

"I don't like it… Why is it smiling like that?!"

Boabhan Sith (smirking nervously):

"Well, I like creepy things, but even I'm freaked out by this one."

Charlotte Corday (genuinely horrified):

"This… this is beyond terrifying."

Gilgamesh (leaning back, sipping wine which he got from Robot):

"What an ugly smile, you pathetic mongrel of a statue. A god? Hah. It's an insult to true divinity."

Ishtar (rolling her eyes):

"Of course you'd say that. You probably think only your smile is divine."

Gilgamesh (grinning):

"Naturally. Who could compare to the King of Heroes?"

[Then one of them stood up and others tried to stop him but he already stood. But nothing happened. Everyone felt it's fucking over. And everyone stood up but suddenly the statue stood up. Which made everyone shit themselves.

Everyone of them are scared to see the statue move with terrifying smile. Each step making the ground shake. Ritsuka tried to think about what to do next.

Ritsuka : The second commandment

is "Praise the God". This is the clue.

Everyone thought what to do but one of them is Christian and started to pray for his god. Suddenly the statue stopped in front of him.

Ritsuka felt something is off. Suddenly the statue lifted it's leg and with a terrifying smile crazily.

Then he stepped on him by killing him without mercy.

With fear every one started to run every where. One of them unfortunately paralyzed due to shock and Statue started disco dance on her by killing her.

See this, Ritsuka took Ophelia hand and started to run like others.] The screen shifted to the next sequence, leaving the group to brace for what horrors would unfold next.

The atmosphere grew tense as the scene unfolded on the screen. Everyone watched intently, their reactions ranging from fear to frustration as Ritsuka struggled to decipher the second commandment amidst the chaos.]

---

Nero Claudius (concerned but determined):

"Umu, wait! So it's over now, right? The statue didn't attack Ritsuka, after all. Surely, this is the way for him to overcome this trial!"

James Moriarty (chuckling, fingers steepled):

"Hahaha, I'm afraid not, dear emperor. This is merely the beginning of the second trial. Just keep watching; the true nature of the commandment will soon reveal itself."

Suzuka Gozen (hands on her hips, agitated):

"Wait a freakin' minute! Why did that thing stand up?! And why is it so huge?! It's like Kingprotea-sized but ten times creepier!"

Artoria Caster (adjusting her glasses):

"It's moving toward them… This trial seems to demand more than simple reverence. But what does it truly mean to 'Praise the God' in this context?"

Cnoc na Riabh (frowning):

"Indeed, that's the crux of the issue. Blindly praying didn't work, so there must be more to this commandment than meets the eye."

James Moriarty (grinning slyly):

"Precisely. It's not about blind faith. If Ritsuka pays closer attention to his surroundings, he'll find the answer staring him right in the face. After all, the trial always provides the clues necessary to survive."

Charlotte Corday (thoughtful, hand on chin):

"A local church choir… Could that be the key? Church hymns are often used to express devotion. It might be the answer to pacify the statue."

Ishtar (tilting her head, doubtful):

"Seems like it, doesn't it?, .... Wait look at how the statue stopped only to crush that poor guy. If it were that simple, it wouldn't have attacked."

Jeanne d'Arc Alter (scowling):

"No, no. You're all missing the point. Even Ritsuka understood it by now—the statue doesn't care about faith or praise by human words. It's all a sick game to this thing."

Mandricardo (nervously):

"Yeah… I think Jeanne Alter's right. The rule is to 'Praise the God,' but why would it make sense for a Christian prayer to work in this dungeon? The whole thing feels off."

Douman (gleeful, clapping his hands):

"Mmmmm, delightful! It killed him like an ant, and now it's dancing on that poor woman's body! Such chaos, such despair… Truly, this statue is an artist of carnage."

Assassin Emiya (stern, arms crossed):

"Enough. There's nothing delightful about this massacre. If Mr. Song hadn't stopped Ritsuka from trying to save that woman, we'd have saw him get killed too. Once the statue targets someone, there's no way to intervene safely."

[One of the mob started to run thinking about his wife and family. He doesn't want to die in that place and rushed towards a statue thinking it was safe but unfortunately he had bad luck and got go/Jo treatment. Then the knight statue cut him in vertically.

"Park!"

His friend cried finally telling the mob name.

Ritsuka running with Ophelia and started to think. He can't abandon Ophelia because of fear. Then he started to analyse the statues while didn't focus on where he is running.

'Praise the God...What should we praise about it? It's essentially a demon. But...I can't just abandon her. Is there any clue...Gun.

Axe. Hammer. Sword. Musical instrument. Musical instrument...'

Another 2 mob got killed by statue. After understanding the hint, Ritsuka said to everyone.

Ritsuka: Everyone, get under the statue holding a musical instrument!

Mr. Song: Musical instrument.

Then he went to a statue which is holding musical instruments suddenly it started to play.

Mr. Song: The statue holding a musical instrument won't attack us!

Park friend started to cry after remembering his friend death near a musical instruments holding statue. ]

---

Caster Irisviel (hands clasped together, sorrowful):

"I feel so sorry for Park! He had a family waiting for him, and now... his pregnant wife will never see him again. I pray his soul finds peace and goes to heaven."

Habetrot (nodding somberly):

"Poor lad... Sometimes, luck just isn't on your side. It's cruel, but this trial doesn't leave room for hesitation or mistakes."

Kadoc Zemlupus (crossing his arms, grimacing):

"Ritsuka won't abandon Ophelia. That much is obvious. But running blindly while holding her hand? He's going to get them both killed if he doesn't watch where he's going! And look at Ophelia—she's completely lost hope."

James Moriarty (chuckling, leaning forward with interest):

"Ah, there it is! The boy finally connected the dots. Musical instruments—how poetic. Praise the God through music! Such a clever twist to this trial."

Mandricardo (rubbing his neck awkwardly):

"Yeah, I get it now. 'Praise the God' meant using the statues holding musical instruments to make them play. The music is what satisfies this so-called 'God.' Makes sense, I guess."

Boabhan Sith (grinning mischievously):

"Fufufu! That guy who shouted at Ritsuka earlier… He was all high and mighty, calling him an idiot. But now, after seeing his friend sliced in two and realizing he's next? Look at him, crying like a baby! How deliciously ironic!"

Ishtar (glaring at screen arms crossed):

"He got lucky, that statue is after him but he reached singing statue in the end!"

---

[Ritsuka and Ophelia went to another statue which holding musical instruments but it didn't play. Ritsuka quickly understand that it only works when single person is infront of the statue. Ritsuka felt Ophelia without wasting time and started to run.

The statue saw him running and started to follow him. Ritsuka saw the statue and started to run towards another musical instrument statue but the gaint statue catch up to him and almost stepped on him. But Ritsuka jumped side in last second. Then Ritsuka saw he was infront of Knight statue not musical instruments Statue. And it attacked him on the spot. But Ritsuka started to move on ground by dragging his body with his hands. His body covered in blood. The statue saw him and started to move. Each step brought fear death in Ritsuka. He felt his life is on death line.

Ritsuka used everything in his hands to move with not giving up determination. The statue lifted his body and ready to step on him. But Ritsuka finally reached the Statue which holds musical instrument.

Finally Ritsuka took deep breath and colossal statue sat on its chair. It's expression changed to normal.]

Reactions to the Chase

Draco (clenching her fists, shouting):

"Damn it, Ritsuka! Focus! That cursed statue is right behind you! Don't look back, just RUN!"

Jeanne d'Arc (Alter, standing abruptly):

"Wait… f*ck! Only one person per statue? Damn it, Ritsuka, don't stop—just RUN! You can't save anyone if you're dead!"

Artoria Caster (hands pressed to her mouth, horrified):

"No, no, no, RITSUKA! This isn't the time to falter. He's—he's running straight for the knight statue! Oh no, no!"

Artoria Pendragon (Lancer, voice trembling):

"He didn't even notice. He blindly rushed forward, and now… look at him! He's bleeding so much—so much!"

Ritsuka fujimaru (shouting encouragingly):

"Ritsuka, don't stop! You've faced death so many times in dungeons. Keep moving forward! You're fighting for something you cannot afford to lose!"

Morgan (holding her hands together tightly):

"All will be well… all will be well for Ritsuka counterpart… He won't give up. I know he won't. His fate won't be like aesc"

Edmond Dantès (leaning back, crossing his arms grimly):

"The shield knight's attack… it left him teetering on the edge of life and death. He's walking a fine line, a step away from either salvation or annihilation."

James Moriarty (adjusting his glasses, contemplative):

"It's always been a game for him—a delicate, dangerous game. But now? At this very moment, he feels it. The crushing weight of inevitable loss. This is the kind of trial that truly tests a man's resolve."

Douman (smirking faintly, his tone mocking yet heavy):

"Mmmmmm A spectral tug-of-war, isn't it? The thread of life clings to him, but here it seems poised to snap. Ah, how poetic—our dear Master crawling, clawing at the precipice of death. How tragic."

Tamamo-no-Mae (eyes glistening, clasping her hands together in prayer):

"Any god, any god! I don't care who you are—save him! My husband counter part from this parallel world doesn't deserve this!"

Suzuka Gozen (nodding, surprisingly serious):

"For once, I agree with Tamamo. Don't let that guy die. Come on, Master counter part, you've got this!"

When Ritsuka finally dragged himself to the statue holding the musical instrument, the tension in the room snapped like a taut string, leaving only stunned relief.

Draco (sighing heavily, collapsing into Ritsuka lap):

"He did it… that idiot actually did it. About time, too. I thought my heart was going to give out." (Everyone should forgot what you read about Draco here or she will hunt you)

Ishtar (hands on her hips, grinning despite herself):

"See? I told you he'd pull through! Though, if it were our Master, he would have handled it with a bit more… grace."

Gilgamesh (arms crossed, huffing):

"Hmph. What a pathetic display of weakness. But I suppose it's impressive that he managed to survive. Barely."

Ishtar (noticing his fleeting concern, smirking):

"Oh, really? 'Barely'? Because I could swear you were worried for a moment there, King of Heroes. Should I mention this to Ritsuka later?"

Gilgamesh (snapping, glaring at her):

"Hold your tongue, useless goddess! I was merely observing this version incompetence, nothing more."

Suzuka: Hold up. Did that statue just glare at him? Like, full-on death glare?

Illya: It's not just you! Look, it's furious! Like, it can't believe Ritsuka made it this far.

Morgan (seething): No. It's not just anger. That thing hates him now. Ritsuka's refusal to give in, to lie down and die like it expected—it's infuriating it.

(Morgan's eyes narrowed, her protective instincts flaring as she clenched her fist. The sight of Ritsuka's battered, blood-soaked form fueled her growing ire.)

[Ritsuka saw his damaged Body. Ophelia rushed towards him. She saw he lost his leg.

Ophelia started to heal him but due to lack of skill, she can't Regenerate his lost leg. Because she is not rank-A Healer. Ritsuka tried to stop her using more her mana in wasting to heal him. But Ophelia is determined to save him. But suddenly she started to cough blood.

The survived mob started to blame Mr. Song and said he lost his arm due to karma. But few Tried disagree but Mr. Song said it was his decision.

Song took the blame and responsibilities.]

---

Ritsuka : Ophelia... just wasting mana. She will collapse at this rate…

(Ophelia continued to pour mana into her spell, even as blood trickled from her lips, her body trembling with exhaustion. Her determination burned through the pain, but her magic was faltering.)

Tamamo: Poor girl... She's draining herself dry over something that's impossible at her level. Without A-rank healing skills, regenerating limbs is a pipe dream.

(Tamamo crossed her arms, conflicted. Her fox ears drooped slightly, imagining herself in Ophelia's place.)

Tamamo: But... if it were my husband there, I'd do the exact same thing. Even if it broke me, I wouldn't stop trying.

Oberon (growling): That moron! Does she not understand that she'll just get herself killed too? Dammit, this is infuriating to watch.

Jeanne Alter (snarling): God, what is this bastard Kim's problem?! He's ready to throw Song under the bus when the man already lost his arm protecting them?

Assassin Emiya: Kim's fear is warping into aggression. He's lashing out because he doesn't know how to cope with his guilt—or the deaths of his friends and fear of death.

Gilgamesh (scoffing): Hmph. Pathetic mongrel. Song bears the burden of leadership, yet he accepts blame for circumstances beyond his control. To me, that is far more noble than the cowardice of fools like Kim.

[Ritsuka started to think the final commandment that has not been solved.

Suddenly the statue waved his hand. And An Altar come out of the ground. Ritsuka recognised it by saying it often appeared in mythology. It's for offering tributes or living sacrifices to the god. The third commandment

is "Believe the God".

The mob took his sword and aimed at Mr. Song. He said mr. Song should sacrifice himself. Mr. Song took his responsibility by agreeing with him.

Ritsuka just staring at this happening. He wanted to stop it but he was too weak to stop them.

Suddenly a fire appeared near the altar. With two mobs help Ritsuka reached altar to see what is going on? He thought the statue wants a living sacrifice

Once three more appeared infront of altar, three more fire flames appeared.

Ritsuka says If we wait here, will someone come to rescue us?

Mr. Song says Today is the seventh day after the dungeon was created. I think they will take action before we are rescued

Staring at altar Ritsuka started to think 'The portal will be fully open

after seven days to outside . And that is "Dungeon Break". Then, the magic beasts will pass through the portal to the human world. That's why we must defeat the Boss and close the portal within the time limit. This is another purpose of the raid mission. If we fail here, the beasts will run out into the world.]

Goredolf: So… is this it? The final trial? (His voice trembled with worry as he gazed at the altar.)

Koyanskaya (dryly): Oh, I've seen this setup before. An altar, some flames, and a group on the edge of insanity. Let me guess—someone's supposed to be a "living sacrifice," right?

Kadoc: Of course. It's textbook. This place is practically screaming, "Someone's about to die for the so-called greater good."

Oberon: Kim's figured out that he's the strongest here—well, physically anyway. With Song weakened, he's made himself judge, jury, and executioner. Now, he's taking his chance.

(Oberon's gaze darkened, his voice laced with a biting tone.)

Oberon: The coward wouldn't have dared to act like this before. But now? He's drunk on fear and the illusion of control.

Ritsuka (hoarsely): Song feels responsible. That's why he agreed to this. He's a good man… (Ritsuka's voice faltered, frustration evident in his tone.)

(Ritsuka saw his counterpart clenched his fist weakly, blood smearing his hand. His gaze fixed on Kim, who loomed over Song like an executioner.)

Ritsuka (thinking): 'I can tell what my counterpart thinking , if he had the strength to stand, he'd stop this five times over. This… this is injustice. And yet, he can't move, I know why. And Kim's fear-driven cowardice is driving him to make decisions he'll regret forever.'

Jeanne Alter: You'd better not try something heroic, Ritsuka! If you so much as twitch, Kim will turn on you and Ophelia next. He's desperate enough to do it.

Artoria Caster (grim): And Ritsuka knows it. That's why he hates how powerless he is right now.

Barghest: Then what's stopping him?

James Moriarty: Two things, my dear. His condition—he's an E-rank human missing a leg, bleeding out—and the risk. Kim's irrationality puts everyone in danger, especially Ophelia. One wrong move, and Ritsuka might doom her as well.

Cnoc na Riabh: At least this trial doesn't actually require a sacrifice.

Artoria Saber (sharply): That doesn't make it any better. The situation's already spiraling out of control.

Meltryllis (crossing her arms): Of course Ritsuka figured it out. Look at him. His expression is changing—he knows there's a way to save Song without playing along with this ridiculous charade.

Artoria Lancer: He needs to act quickly. Ophelia's condition is worsening, and Kim's growing aggression is pushing the others into a panic. If this continues, there won't be any rational decisions left.

Mandricardo: It's those flames. They're tied to their lives somehow, aren't they?

Mélusine (frowning): If dungeons like this aren't cleared, it leads to a dungeon break. That's why hunters must clear them. If they fail—the entire japan will face magic beasts pouring through the portal.

Habetrot (worried): That's why these dungeons are so dangerous. It's not just about survival; it's about stopping what comes next too.

[Scene: Hospital Room]

(Illya Fujimaru walked through the quiet halls of the hospital, her schoolbag slung over her shoulder. She paused in front of the door, gripping the handle tightly, and took several deep breaths. A practiced smile appeared on her face, masking the emotions swirling within her. With that, she pushed the door open.)

Illya (cheerfully): Mom! I'm here! School ended a bit late today, but I have so much to tell you!

(Irisviel Fujimaru lay on the hospital bed, her pale face turned toward the window. The steady hum of medical equipment filled the room. Despite the years of treatment, her condition hadn't improved much. Illya sat beside her, placing her schoolbag on the floor. She leaned forward, clasping her mother's frail hand.)

Illya: Today, sei was complaining about gym class again. She said something about being too refined to sweat, but she ended up trying harder than anyone else. It was so funny!

(Illya continued to talk, recounting stories and small moments as though Irisviel were fully listening. Her voice remained steady, her smile unwavering, even as her eyes glistened slightly. Outside the room, two nurses exchanged glances, whispering to each other.)

---

Suzuka Gozen: So that's why she comes here after school every day.

Nero Claudius (crossing her arms): Umu! That smile—so much like her brother's. Both of them hiding their pain behind that facade. Truly, they are siblings.

Irisviel (Caster): That's… another version of me. She's Illya's mother. And Ritsuka's…

(Seeing Illya pouring her heart out to Irisviel Fujimaru made everyone watching feel heavy. Ritsuka's expression wavered, his fists clenched tightly, and his eyes threatened to spill tears. Illya, watching herself on the screen, broke down entirely, tears flowing freely. Caster Irisviel immediately moved to comfort her, wrapping her arms around her and pulling her close.)

Illya (sobbing): I… I just wish her to feel like she wasn't alone….

Caster Irisviel (softly): she is a wonderful daughter don't worry. (She gently stroked Illya's hair as the younger girl cried into her chest.)

(Assassin Emiya gaze locked on the screen. The sight of Irisviel Fujimaru, so similar to the Irisviel he once knew, tore through him. His hands trembled slightly as he clenched his fists, his lips pressed into a tight line.)

Assassin Emiya (internal monologue): Another version of her… and me. He wasn't there for them either, was he? Just like me. A failure—leaving his family to face their pain alone. I'm always a failure, bo matter what version it is!

(He bit his lip hard, his teeth drawing blood. He hated himself and this other version of him—hated the way their weakness had caused so much pain. The ache in his chest was unbearable as he watched the screen, silently cursing his inability to change anything.)

(Suddenly, Caster Irisviel rested her head on Assassin Emiya's shoulder, still holding Illya in her lap. Assassin Emiya stiffened but didn't move away. He wanted to force her off, to reject the comfort, but something stopped him. For the first time in a long time, he let himself remain still, her presence anchoring him.)

Caster Irisviel (softly): You don't have to carry it all alone.

(Assassin Emiya said nothing, but the tension in his shoulders lessened slightly. The group remained in a heavy silence, their shared pain binding them together. Even without words, the quiet comfort of their presence was enough for now.)

[Scene: Altar Room

(Ritsuka says everyone should come to Altar. Once everyone near, a lighting passed thought the magic circle. And many blue flames appeared around them.

Suddenly the door opened and one by one all statues started to move towards them. Slowly the blue flames started to disappear.

Everyone surprised and thought this could be another trap.

Ritsuka quickly understand what's going on.

Ritsuka says "Ophelia, don't close your eyes. Once we look away, they'll move closer. It's like the game. we used to play as kids. Everyone must keep their eyes fixed on the statues."

Hearing this everyone kept their eyes focused on statues. And all statues stopped moving. ]

(As Ritsuka speaks, the others follow suit, each of them staring fixedly at the statues. The movement in the statues halts immediately. The blue flames flicker for a moment before dying down, their sinister glow fading into the darkness of the room.)

---

Habetrot: (eyes wide with confusion) What's going on here? What's with those statues moving? (She leans closer to the screen, trying to make sense of it.)

Mandricardo: (pauses, looking thoughtful) I get it now. Those normal flames represent their lives. But... why do blue flames appear now? What do they mean?

James Moriarty: (with a smirk, his voice smooth and calculated) Those 36 blue flames… each one represents a minute of a 36-minute timer. It's the beginning of the final test of faith.

(He leans back, watching intently.)

James Moriarty: The whole thing, you see, is about false hope versus an unseen promise. The flames, the statues—they're part of it. The open door is the false hope—appearing to offer a way out, a quick escape. But the real promise? It's the path of survival. To prove their faith. To show they can endure.

(Moriarty pauses and looks over at the group.)

James Moriarty: And Ritsuka, of course, understood it immediately. The statues' movement was controlled by how they reacted, their belief in the test. It wasn't just about timing—it was a trial of faith. He realized that the commandments would always provide a way out. This... this was his path forward.

Boabhan Sith: (growls softly) Damn. He figured all that out just from watching? Smart old man.

James Moriarty: (grinning) Haha, I'm James Moriarty, after all. You didn't think I'd miss the details, kid?

Boabhan Sith: (snorts) Kid? Idiot. (She glares at him, clearly not impressed.) You keep talking, and I'll torture you later.

James Moriarty: (waving his hands in mock surrender) Sorry, sorry. I'll keep quiet.

Oberon: (eyes fixed on the screen, intrigued) But it's fascinating, isn't it? The statues only move as long as they're not being watched. (He pauses.) It's like a test of focus.

(He continues to observe, his mind racing with thoughts of strategy and survival.)

Oberon: The moment they lose their concentration, the test is over. The statues move to claim them. It's brilliant in its simplicity.

---

[But one of them is so dumb, instead of listening. She rushed towards the door. And the statue started to move. But this mob was able leave the dungeon. Which shocked everyone.

But Mr. Song noticed something.

The door closed a bit,

but she made it out.

What's going on...

Ritsuka started to think "The blue flames will go out over time. And once someone leaves the altar, the orange flames will also go out. The first commandment is "worship". The second is "praise". The third is "believe". That door must be a trap. It offers false optimism to us who are in terror. Perhaps it tests our faith in God in this way.'

But suddenly another mob betrayed Ritsuka and throw him on ground. And rushed towards door with his big ass. Another fire flame is gone. ]

Jeanne Alter:

"That... damn... B*tch! Escaped like trash!" Her voice was laced with fury, the frustration palpable in her tone.

James Moriarty:

"Interesting... When she rushed, the door moved slightly, but then it closed again... Ritsuka must have known that this was a trap all along. The door offers false hope, but it only leads to further entrapment. If any of them leave, the door would close behind them, trapping them forever...*"

Ishtar:

"Clearly, Ritsuka's plan was the right one." She sighed with exasperation, her gaze fixed on the screen, clearly annoyed by the betrayal.

Morgan:

"And the statues are closing in... Blue flames burning bright—thirty minutes left... Ritsuka's assumption was spot on. But trusting him meant more than just relying on his intellect. It meant trusting that they could all do their part in this.*"

Saber Artoria:

"Assuming they don't falter... If they can't hold their ground, it'll all be for nothing.*"

Oberon:

"So the question is... Do they place their faith in Ritsuka and their comrades, or do they abandon that trust and go for freedom at the cost of others?"

Draco:

"In simple terms: Stay and trust, or break faith and leave?"

James Moriarty:

"This is where it gets interesting. The real test: Do they trust Ritsuka's judgment? Will they believe that the one Gaint staute God who is killing them might also be the one to set them free? Or will they choose their own path, selfishly running to save themselves?"

Ritsuka:

"This whole situation... It's like a twisted trolley problem. You can save yourself by pulling the lever, but in doing so, you send others to their deaths."

Assassin Emiya clenched his fists, his face hardening with silent rage. He was about to speak but chose to remain quiet, not trusting his emotions in the moment. He felt fate mocking him and Ritsuka.

Douman:

"Mmmmmm... What an interesting dilemma. The tension here is palpable. It's enthralling to see the group slowly unravel, each one questioning their loyalty, wondering if they should pull the lever..."

Caster Artoria (voice shaking with anger):

"That first woman... She couldn't withstand the pressure. And then the second man—he left, abandoning Ritsuka because of fear. He pretended to be the righteous one, listening to Ritsuka... But in the end, he betrayed him."

Edmond Dantès:

"Betrayal... Always comes from those closest to you, doesn't it?"

His eyes flickered toward Ritsuka in the corner of the room, the weight of his words hanging in the air.

Barghest (grimly):

"Well, looks like that one has lost all faith... and escaped. A coward in the end."

Mandricardo:

"So... now, there are only four left." He muttered, his voice a low growl as he watched the screen in silence.

(Back in the Altar room, Ritsuka and his team remain perfectly still, their eyes locked on the statues. The room holds its breath, each second stretching into eternity as they pass the test, silently, together.)

[Scene: Altar Room – The tension in the air is thick as Ritsuka and the group stand steadfast, their eyes locked onto the statues surrounding them. The blue flames continue to flicker around them, the timer ticking down with every passing second.]

Ritsuka: (gritting his teeth) Everyone, don't move! If anyone else leaves, it will create a blind spot!

(The group remains frozen, their eyes not leaving the statues for even a moment. The flames continue to burn around them, each flicker causing more unease.)

Song: Ritsuka, what does this mean? Explain it!

Ritsuka: (his voice steady, though filled with urgency) Just keep it this way, and don't move your gaze away from the statues. The blue flame is a timer. When it goes out completely, everyone should be able to escape.

(The group exchanges uneasy glances. The flames continue their relentless burn.)

Mob: (nervously) But, Ritsuka... It's also possible that when the flame goes out completely, we'll be locked up.

(Ritsuka goes silent, his mind racing with the weight of the mob's words. He tries to process the possibility, but his resolve doesn't waver.)

Mob: (pauses, shaking his head, then speaks with a bitter edge) To be honest, I never thought that you would be so active, the weakest one. We've survived until now... all thanks to you.

Ritsuka: (softly, almost to himself) Mr. Kim...

(At last, the mob's true nature is revealed, and Ritsuka's heart sinks. He feels the weight of betrayal pressing on him. Kim's intentions were never pure.)

Kim: (sobbing, his voice trembling) But you see, I have family waiting for me... sob sob sob... I don't want to die yet. sob... I want to go home alive. I can't hold on any longer. I'm sorry.

(Without a second thought, Kim throws his sword to the ground and rushes towards the door, breaking the fragile unity they had built.)

Ritsuka: (his voice cracks as tears begin to well up in his eyes, feeling the sting of betrayal) No... Why...

(Ritsuka, in a moment of pure anger and despair, slams his fist into the altar, the force echoing through the room.)

Ritsuka: I won't give up. I must survive. I've always survived this way!

(As if sensing Ritsuka's internal struggle, the knight statues begin to move toward them, their stone forms shifting with eerie purpose.)

---

Oberon: (his voice seething with anger) Now they understand they could leave the dungeon, and yet... they lost their respect for Ritsuka despite everything he's done for them!

(He clenches his fists, his temper flaring as he watches the betrayal unfold.)

James Moriarty: (observing, his tone matter-of-fact) Now, this begs the question of faith versus survival again. For Mr. Kim, survival was something he needed assurance on, more than faith or honor.

Assassin Emiya: (softly, his voice grim) Even if Ritsuka's theories helped them survive this long... they don't have any guarantee to survive this trial. They were always walking a fine line.

Koyanskaya: (her voice laced with mock sympathy) To Kim, survival was all that mattered. He's half-heartedly thanking Ritsuka before running away. His words mean nothing now. But... this... this is what fueled Ritsuka's rage.

(Koyanskaya pauses, her eyes gleaming with a dark curiosity.)

Koyanskaya: (leaning forward, her gaze intense) Well, Master... how does it feel to see your counterpart getting betrayed by humanity, by its own people?

Ritsuka: (his voice sharp, cutting through the tension in the room) I already know about humanity's nature. (His gaze hardens as he speaks.) You don't have to expect anything from me. I won't change my mind because of their nature.

---

Mr. Song: (urgently) You two, leave quickly.

Ritsuka: (looking at him with conflicted emotions) Mr. Song...

Mr. Song: (firmly) I think as long as one person stays, that door won't close. Then, I should let the young people with promising futures leave first. (turning to Ophelia) Ophelia, please take care of Ritsuka.

Ophelia: (nodding weakly) Okay!

(Suddenly, Ophelia stumbles to her knees, clutching her leg.)

Ophelia: (panicked) Strange... My leg... I can't move it.

Song: You've overexerted yourself when treating Ritsuka.

Ritsuka: (his voice shaking but resolute) Mr. Song. Take Ophelia and leave.

Mr. Song: (hesitant) What? I said I would stay...

Ritsuka: (yelling with desperation) Then who will help Ophelia out? There's no time, hurry up!

Ophelia: (tears welling up) No... No... Ritsuka...

Ritsuka: (forcing a grin, speaking lightly despite the gravity of the situation) Let me stay! I promised I'd take you out to eat, right? Use this to buy something to eat. (He hands her the essence stone he earned during the raid.) After I get out, I'll come to you for the rest of the money.

(Ophelia stares at him, trembling. Tears fall freely down her face, guilt eating at her.)

Ophelia: How can you still joke...

(Suddenly, Song steps forward and strikes Ophelia hard enough to render her unconscious. Ritsuka flinches, but he knows it was necessary.)

Mr. Song: (grimly) I'm sorry. We're really running out of time.

Ritsuka: (looking at Song with determination) I'll leave her in your care.

Mr. Song: (nodding solemnly) Alright.

(Song hoists Ophelia up and leaves, the heavy doors closing behind him. The final flame flickers beside Ritsuka as he stands alone in the room. He exhales softly.)

Ritsuka: (to himself, quietly) Good.

---

Koyanskaya: (snorting, her voice laced with mockery) They should've thrown her and run away. What a waste of effort.

Ritsuka (current): (glaring at her) If that Ritsuka had chosen to leave her behind, he'd have hated himself for the rest of his life. She saved him countless times before, and the only reason she couldn't move was because she used her mana to heal him. He couldn't betray her - his only friend.

James Moriarty: (adjusting his glasses thoughtfully) And I suspect that Ritsuka wasn't entirely upset with his decision, even if he stayed behind. He knew the likely outcomes.

Boabhan Sith: (tilting her head) What does that mean?

James Moriarty: (smiling knowingly) What I mean is this: Even if he had escaped but lost his leg, his life would've been a disaster. He wouldn't have been able to support his family or work as a hunter. But if he died there, his family would receive the hunter association's insurance—a significant sum for an E-rank hunter.

(The screen shifts, showing the cold and lonely altar with Ritsuka standing firm. His expression carries no regret, only peace. The group watches in silence, their emotions swirling.)

Caster Irisviel: (sadly) To accept death for his family... He's so pure.

Assassin Emiya: (closing his eyes). It's pragmatism. He chose the only path that would guarantee some form of salvation—for his family, not himself. He is not a failure like me.

Tiamat: (whispering) He reminds me of the child who trying to save humanity, even when it hurt him... (Sees Ritsuka fujimaru beside her)

Morgan: (clutching her arms, her voice shaking) No... He was left alone? Just like Aesc!

Jeanne Alter: (growling, her anger barely contained) What the hell is this? He just accepted death like some kind of idiot!

Artoria caster: (looking at Ritsuka with concern, her eyes wide) You... would never do this to yourself, right? This position... it's too frightening. (She slowly breaking down and forgetting her Ritsuka or counterpart Ritsuka)

Ritsuka: Cool Down Castoria, I'm right here and safe.

[He thought 'Luckily, I am the only one who's going to die. If I had known, I would have bought more memories.'

Ritsuka took the sword Kim left. He aimed at the gaint knights statue.

Ritsuka says "At least one of you will have to accompany me on the way. Come at me!

His eyes filled with Determination

Suddenly one of the knight statues attack him with gaint sword. But Ritsuka in last second dodge it. But another statue attacked him which made him roll on ground.

His luck was over and Gaint sword stabbed him.

"If you were stabbed a couple of inches lower, I'd have a hole in my heart by now!"he tried silly jokes but there is no one to listen or laugh.

'I'm always the weakest. People around me always keep ridiculing me.'

"Ahhhhaaaaa haaaa"

But I've tried my best to make it through.

Sounds of bones breaking could be heard from all corners of his body.

He shrunk away from the intense pain.

"Euh….. Euh, euh….."]

---

Tiamat: (eyes welling with tears, her maternal instincts kicking in) "No… no, my child!" (She turns away, running while sobbing in a corner sit, unable to bear the sight. The current Ritsuka beside sit is empty. Seeing it Both Morgan and Castoria come to his side. He doesn't protest as Artoria Caster sat beside his empty sit and Morgan settle on his lap, while Draco curls up on the other side lap, their shared warmth grounding him.)

Kadoc: (clenching his fists, trembling with suppressed rage) "I know that look. He's going to do something reckless, something that'll end him. That idiotic habit…" (His voice trails off as his frustration grows.)

Koyanskaya: (leaning forward, narrowing her eyes) "What will you do, Ritsuka? Is this the end for you?" (Her tone is filled with both disappointment and mild intrigue.) "Unless you're banking on a miracle…"

Goredolf: (stammering, his voice filled with anxiety) "What's that going to do?! He's just swinging a stick at this point! Someone help him!"

Gilgamesh (Caster): (snorting in disdain) "How pathetic. A mongrel, wielding an ordinary sword facing death." (He destroys the cup in his hand .) "What a waste of effort."

Ishtar: (snapping) "Don't talk about Ritsuka like that!" (Her voice is laced with anger and desperation.)

Gilgamesh (Caster): (scolding) "Useless goddess, the Ritsuka you're attached to is alive and well before you. Do not grow sentimental over another version of our master."

Current Ritsuka: (calmly, addressing the room) "Everyone, please. Wait. If Mr. X is showing us this, then there's still hope. He wouldn't let us see the end of someone who has no future. He is lazy man, he doesn't waste time for this type of story" (did he just called me lazy man)

(The room grows silent as they turn back to the screen. The dire situation on display leaves the Servants and Masters with alarmed expressions. Artoria Caster clutches her chest, her breathing heavy.)

Artoria Caster: (panicking) "Ritsuka! Is this truly how it ends?!"

Artoria Lancer: (growling in frustration) "If hunters are supposed to save him, they'd better hurry. He doesn't have time!"

Saber Artoria: (trying to stay calm, though her worry shows) "Master said he will be saved. We must trust that this isn't the end."

Jeanne Alter: (snarling, her fists clenched) "Saved? Look at him! He's barely hanging on! They'll get there too late!"

Edmond Dantès: (quietly, his sharp eyes analyzing the scene) "Perhaps. But if that's the case, then all he can do is 'wait and hope.'"

Assassin Emiya: (his voice trembling with anger) "He's already lost this battle. What's the point of watching him suffer?"

Habetrot: (tearing up, her voice small) "But he's so brave… and pure thinking about his family safty and future…"

Mandricardo: (jaw clenched, shaking his head) "Brave? Maybe. But this isn't bravery—it's desperation."

Douman: (smirking, leaning forward) "Mmm… how deliciously tragic. Watching him writhe like this is—"

(Meltryllis kicks Douman so hard he crashes into a wall. Her face burns with fury.)

Meltryllis: (snapping) "Shut up. You're disgusting."

Mélusine,Suzuka gozen ,Tamamo-no-Mae and Nero Claudius: (watching in horrified silence, their hearts aching at the sight of another world's Ritsuka standing alone. Tears prick their eyes as they whisper in unison.)

"Don't let it end like this… please…"

---

[As he began trembling, the stone statues slowly surrounded him. They formed a encirclement around him. Ritsuka raised his head and glared at them, his entire being shuddering non-stop.

But...

They took their weapons to attack Ritsuka

Are you kidding me... Are you kidding me...

They started to stab Ritsuka with gaint swords non stop. Blood covered the statues and ground. Allover the place.

I want to become stronger too.

Slowly blue flames started to disappear as time passed but the statues still stabbing Ritsuka.

But I can't.

Ritsuka body covered in his blood. If this continues, he will die very quickly. He lost strength to move.

Despite that, I've survived up to now in my own way.

Again the statues started to move towards him.

I...

Suddenly the sword stabbed in his shoulder.

I can't hold on anymore?

Ritsuka cough large amount of blood.

We are all suffering. You're just justifying yourself.

Even with this pain, Ritsuka couldn't even scream due to lack of energy.

All the gratitude is just lip service.

But Ritsuka mind is full of hard thoughts.

It's always the selfish ones

who get all the benefits.

Tears pooled in his eyes, sliding down his bloodstained face. The screen lingered on him, broken but unyielding, as he whispered one final thought.

I have a family too.

Now that he was facing his final moments, tears pooled on his eyes. He recalled the faces of his family. He even recalled the face of Illya, her face full of anxiety and worry for his safety…]

"No... stop..." Tamamo's voice broke the silence in the room. Her ears flattened as she trembled. "Stop it, I suppose!" Tears welled up in her eyes, spilling over as she clawed helplessly at the screen. "I can't watch this anymore! My husband..." she whispered, sobbing uncontrollably. Ritsuka grab her hand. Even his heart is shaking watching such a sad scene.

In the room, Illya clutched Irisviel's arm as they both broke down, tears streaming down their faces. "No, no! This can't be happening to him!" Illya cried. Irisviel's lips quivered, her eyes overflowing with anguish.

Artoria Caster trembled where she stood, her staff clattering to the floor. "This this isn't right!" she gasped.

Charlotte Corday covered her mouth, her eyes wide with tears. "Please, stop! Someone save him! He doesn't deserve this!"

The screen continued to show the relentless assault. Ritsuka's blood coated everything around him, his body trembling as he struggled to remain conscious.

"This... This is just cruelty." Nero Claudius's voice was soft, but her hands clenched into fists. "Even if he isn't my Praetor, I can't bear to see someone who resembles him suffer like this."

Draco growled low, her sharp teeth gritting as her tail lashed furiously. "If only I could reach through this cursed screen..." she hissed.

James Moriarty's voice broke through the tense air, his usually casual tone replaced with gravity. "It seems this Ritsuka Fujimaru has finally reached his breaking point. A tragic fate for someone so young."

Kadoc averted his eyes, unable to watch any longer. Tears pricked at the corners of his vision, but he gritted his teeth, refusing to let them fall. "Why... Why does it have to be like this?"

Gilgamesh stood unmoved, his golden eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Fascinating," he mused, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "The boy's resolve is admirable, but it's clear he's finished."

Artoria Pendragon gripped the hilt of her invisible blade tightly, her voice trembling with anger. "What is this monster?! Why does it take such pleasure in torturing him?!"

Assassin Emiya eyes fixed on the screen. His lips curled into a grimace, and he bit down hard to keep from cursing aloud.

Oberon, who had been quiet the entire time, finally spoke. "This is no trial of strength or skill. It's an execution."

The cast collectively glared at the screen, their hatred for the monstrous statues radiating like a palpable force.

"It's over for that boy, isn't it?" Moriarty asked grimly.

Tamamo shook her head violently, tears streaming down her face. "No! Someone-someone save him!"

["Ahhaaahhahaa" the statue lifted him like a toy with his sword stabbed in Ritsuka.

I want to return home alive too.

Blood falling on Altar. And the statue thrown Ritsuka body like a doll on Altar. Ritsuka body hit the altar. And his blood leaking and covering the Altar.]

The screen continued to show Ritsuka's counterpart being brutalized mercilessly by the statues, each moment pulling the spectators deeper into despair, anger, and heartbreak.

---

Draco's fury boiled over as she clutched at Ritsuka's sleeve with trembling hands. "This is wrong! Fujimaru, I won't just sit here and watch!" she growled. Though she had been teleported back to his lap, the fire in her eyes burned as bright as ever. Tears and anger spilled down her cheeks as she shook her head, hating the helplessness she felt.

Barghest's eyes gleamed with primal rage as her claws dug into the seat she occupied. "I'll rip those monstrosities apart! No one touches him like that!" Her voice was guttural, trembling with anger. But Ritsuka's steady presence and calm touch reminded her of the line she could not cross.

Morgan gritted her teeth, her aura flaring dangerously. "This has gone too far," she hissed. The queen's gaze softened briefly as she placed her hand on Ritsuka's shoulder, feeling the warmth of her own Master. "Even if it's just another version of you, I won't allow this."

Tamamo, usually cheerful and composed, was beside herself. "That demon dares to treat my darling like this?!" She turned to Ritsuka, tears streaming. "Please, Master! Tell me this will stop! Tell me you'll survive this, no matter what!"

Artoria Caster leaned forward, Ritsuka hand trembling in her grip. "This… this is not a battle—it's a slaughter! Someone intervene! Someone save him!" Her usual poise was gone, replaced by an overwhelming sense of helplessness.

Suzuka could barely bring herself to look. Her hands covered her eyes, but her tears escaped, streaking down her cheeks. "I hate this… I hate watching this! He didn't deserve any of this!" Her voice cracked with raw emotion, her usual carefree tone lost.

Irisviel's hand shook as she held them over her mouth. "Ritsuka... please hold on!" she watched her master counter part get abused and toyed by this statues. Her motherly protective instincts telling her Wanting nothing but to jump in and cast a healing spell to save him… and maybe a few magic blasting into the demon's chest for punishment. But all she could do was watch helplessly and the reality of being a mere observer crushed her spirit.

Ritsuka's calm gaze swept across the room as his companions broke down. Despite their tears, fury, and despair, he remained steady.

After all, He is the last master of humanity. He can't let his servants be broken. And he started to say words of hope like always he says to himself.

"Everyone," he said softly, his voice carrying above the tension. "This isn't the end. I know it looks terrible, but this story isn't over yet."

He tightened his grip on Draco's trembling hands, grounding her. "Trust me, okay? Lazy 'Mr. X' is showing us a story which gives him entertainment and he is not sick person to see our tears. Let's see it through. Don't lose hope."

His words brought a flicker of hope back to the room, though the heavy emotions lingered.

---

['Luckily, I'm the only one

who's going to die?'

'Was the compensation paid out to the family members $267,000 or $356,000, when one dies during a raid?'

That was a huge amount for a worthless life of a rank E Hunter.

Ritsuka breathing condition become unstable.

Stop it, hypocrite. Don't...I don't want to die.

He tried to breath but death is coming towards him. His eyes are filled with fear of death and blood.

If...

The statue already to attack him. But the last blue flame is disappeared. Even though he was shaking hard, Ritsuka did not avert his gaze away from this b*stard statue.

Finally, the statue's sword slashed down.

Swiiiishhh….

If I could have another chance...]

---

Draco's claws dug into Ritsuka's lap, trembling as she sobbed uncontrollably. "Why… Why does it have to be him? Soc soc?!" Her usually fiery demeanor crumbled, and she looked up at Ritsuka with tear-filled eyes. "You… you promise me that's not your fate too, right? Don't dare to die Fujimaru? Not until you reach the end"

Ritsuka only nods his head with tears.

Artoria's embrace tightened around Ritsuka, her sobs muffled against his shoulders. She held him as if her very touch could shield him from any harm. "It's not you… it's not you…" she repeated, more to reassure herself than anyone else.

Morgan rigid on Ritsuka lap, her lips trembling as her gaze fixated on the screen. "Aesc… Another tragic end… Why do the fates always take so much from us?!" She gritted her teeth, clutching Ritsuka neck tightly. Yet, even in her anger, she glanced toward Ritsuka, as if to make sure he was truly there, safe.

Tamamo wiped her tears furiously, her fox ears twitching as if picking up every beat of Ritsuka's heart. "! You're not that boy, right? You're here with us! With me!" Her usual cheer was utterly gone, replaced by raw desperation.

"Yes, tamamo. I'm right here and safe." Ritsuka tired his best to make sure the girls won't break down.

Charlotte knelt on the floor, her hands clasped together as if in prayer. "Please… Please let that boy have a second chance, even if it's not our Master. He doesn't deserve to die like this…" Her voice cracked with emotion.

Illya clung to Irisviel, sobbing uncontrollably as she buried her face in her mother's chest. "Mama… Mama, make it stop! Please! He's just like master and he had a sister! I don't want my version to lose him too!" Irisviel held her tightly, her own tears falling freely as she whispered comforting words, though her heart broke for the boy on the screen.

Mandricardo turned his back to the screen, unable to face it any longer. "This is messed up… It's not right…" His fists clenched at his sides, his voice shaking as tears spilled from his eyes. "I wish my version could do something… anything…"

Ritsuka gently placed a hand on Artoria's back, his voice soft yet firm. "I'm here, I promise I won't die " he said, reassuring her and everyone else. His tone carried strength, though his heart was heavy seeing his counterpart suffer.

---

[Suddenly the world started to glitch just before the sword hit him.

As if someone had pressed the 'pause' button, the scarily-fast moving sword suddenly stopped in mid-air.

No, that wasn't actually correct; it hadn't stopped at all. It simply had slowed down so much that he ended up thinking that way.

It was very slow, but the sword was still definitely coming down.

'Wha-what's going on here?'

Ritsuka couldn't hide his astonishment.

[Completion requirements for the 'Secret Quest: the Courage of the Powerless' has been met.]

Secret quest? Completion requirements were met?

Ritsuka couldn't understand any of that.

[You have acquired the rights to become a Player. Will you accept?]

He had acquired a right? Accept what, exactly?

'Sounds like I'll be given something….'

He grew up dirt poor since his childhood, so he had never refused freebies until now. However, that was a story for when he was still alive. What use was there for free stuff when he was dead?

'....'

[There is not enough time left for you to make your decision. Your heart will cease functioning precisely 0.02 seconds after you refuse to accept. Will you accept?]

He couldn't tell whether he was hallucinating or not, but he still got to figure out that he was only a moment away from dying for good. He finally spotted countless other weapons headed in his direction, beside that d*mn sword, that was how.

Now that the things had devolved to such a degree, he might as well.

'….If you're giving it to me, then just give it to me already.']

The screen shifted back to the altar, the silence deafening as the other Ritsuka's blood pooled. But even as the light in his eyes dimmed, a faint, almost imperceptible spark began to flicker in the depths of the boy's soul…

The room was silent as the words on the screen registered in everyone's minds. The tension was palpable as the once-hopeless situation for the other Ritsuka suddenly took a dramatic turn.

---

Tiamat tilted her head in confusion, her gentle voice tinged with motherly concern. "What's going on, my child? What is this... screen?" She looked at Ritsuka, her instinct to protect him surging even though she knew he wasn't the one on the altar.

Moriarty adjusted his monocle, his calm facade barely hiding his astonishment. "Hoh… even I, the great James Moriarty, did not foresee this possibility. A calculated miracle, perhaps? No… This outcome is entirely outside my predictions." He chuckled nervously, masking the genuine intrigue in his eyes.

Goredolf sniffled, quickly dabbing at his eyes with a handkerchief. "I knew it! I told you miracles happen! I said he'd survive!" His voice cracked slightly as he spoke, and he turned away, muttering to himself. "There's no shame in a man shedding tears for something this moving."

Ritsuka blinked, leaning forward. "Wait a second… Did he just get… a video game-like notification? This feels straight out of Elden Ring or Final Fantasy." He chuckled softly, his tone a mix of disbelief and relief. "Well, if that's what it takes to save him, then I'm not complaining. He deserves a chance."

Douman sneered, his mocking tone cutting through the air. "Mmmnnn, I don't like this. Some random miracle like a cheap power-up screen? Trash writing, really." He raised his hand dramatically, as if to brush the situation aside.

Before anyone could respond, Jeanne Alter delivered a swift kick to Douman's side, sending him sprawling across the floor. "Shut up, you trash!" she barked, her face alight with rare joy. "I don't care how it happened, as long as he didn't die!"

Artoria sighed in relief, wiping her tears away but still holding Ritsuka tightly. "A miracle indeed… Perhaps this is the work of a higher power. No matter what, he has been given another chance. That is all that matters."

Suzuka smirked, her usual peppy demeanor returning. "A video game-like save? Honestly, kinda cool! Ritsuka, your counterpart just unlocked protagonist mode for real."

Tiamat smiled softly, her confusion fading into warm pride. "My child has been saved. A second chance… Yes, this is good. Very good." Her immense form seemed to radiate relief, her maternal instincts soothed by the outcome.

As the servants processed the miraculous turn of events, their despair transformed into cautious hope, then into excitement.

Ritsuka leaned back, exhaling deeply. "You've got this," he muttered softly, his voice filled with quiet encouragement for his counterpart.

[There was no need to utter anything out at all. He simply thought about it in his head.

[Congratulations on becoming a 'Player'.]

FLASH!!

A blinding light suddenly wrapped around Ritsuka body – and at the same time, he lost his consciousness.]

Morgan tightened her arms around her Ritsuka protectively, her face a mask of confusion and anger. "A status system? What kind of foul sorcery is this? Why does it choose him?" Her Blue eyes were filled with both sorrow and fury as she glared at the screen, unwilling to loosen her grip.

Draco clung desperately to Ritsuka's arm, trembling as she spoke through sobs. "Why him? Who is doing this?!" Her tears stained her cheeks, her fiery protective instincts unable to stop the pain of watching him hurt, even if it wasn't her Ritsuka.

Oberon leaned back in his seat, his expression calm but his words biting. "It's not surprising, is it? That boy… he grew up in poverty. He understands the price of every so-called 'miracle.' Even now, this version of him must know nothing is truly free." His voice carried a faint trace of pity, though his sharp tone betrayed the bitterness he hid well.

EMIYA crossed his arms, his red cloak shifting slightly as he glared at the screen. "A deal that comes at the cost of his life. That's what it boils down to, doesn't it? A cruel twist of fate… Nothing more." His stoic demeanor couldn't fully conceal the anger in his voice.

Mandricardo "Please nothing bad happens to him" His head hung low as he tried to hide the tears welling up in his eyes. He prayed for his friend.

Nero's bright green eyes were wide with fear, her usual confidence shaken to its core.

'What if, her Praetor is in his place? What if he went close to death? What if she can't protect him and lose roma?'

"Praetor…! No, I can't—I won't accept this!" Her voice was laced with desperation as her hand gripped her sword. "To think I couldn't act… I feel so powerless…" (mr. X didn't took her sword because he is lazy or he is a lazy writer and forgot he took everyone weapons)

Both Lancer and saber Artoria's jaw was tight, their expression stoic yet betrayed by the fire in their eyes.

Saber says "A sword exists to protect its wielder. To protect its master. And yet… what if I failed."

'what if master was in danger and I failed to save him?'

Lancer clenched her hands, her fingers digging into her gauntlets. "Even if this is not my Master, the thought of such failure…" She trailed off, unable to finish her sentence.

Both Artorias are losers and overthink too much.

Tamamo clung tightly to Ritsuka's arm, her ears flattened as tears sparkled in her eyes. "That's not our husband," she whispered as if trying to convince herself. "That's not him. But still…" Her voice cracked, and she buried her face against his shoulder. "Why does seeing this hurt so much?"

Tamamo Still didn't recover from trauma.

Boabhan Sith remained silent, her head bowed as her hands clenched the edges of her dress. She refused to meet anyone's gaze, unwilling to show the tears slipping down her face.

Artoria Caster knelt by Ritsuka's chair, her usually composed face streaked with tears. She looked up at him, her voice shaking. "You're here. You're alive. That's all that matters…" Her hands trembled as she reached for him, needing the reassurance of his warmth.

(Even Castoria didn't recovered)

[The screen began to flicker, transitioning into a new image. Words began to form, glowing against the dark background.]

"This is a story of a weak hunter who went against fate itself to save the world."

The atmosphere shifted again.

Some Servants leaned forward with interest, while others remained frozen, their thoughts on the grim events they had just witnessed.

Jeanne Alter crossed her arms, smirking through her unease. "Tch, sounds like something out of a second-rate story. But fine… let's see what this so-called 'weak hunter' can do." Her voice was defiant, masking the worry she felt for the boy.

Mélusine, her hands twitching slightly, frowned. "Even if this isn't our Master, he's still someone's. Watching him struggle alone like that… It's unbearable."

[SOLO LEVELING]

Ritsuka exhaled softly, shaking his head. "Solo leveling, Cool!!" he muttered, a faint smirk forming. "If that's what it takes to give him a chance… I hope he uses it well." His voice carried a quiet determination, a reflection of his counterpart on-screen.

The room remained silent as the screen loaded the next chapter of the story, each Servant preparing themselves for what lay ahead. Whether with hope, anger, or fear, all eyes remained fixed on the unfolding tale of a boy who dared to defy fate.

Next chapter will be updated first on this website. Come back and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!
