Fated Adventure.

Chapter 15: 15. Departure from the Sea.

The ocean had been fun for a while. The freedom, the adventure, the fights—it all had its appeal. But now? I was done.

I had gained more than enough: two Logia Devil Fruits, mastery of Haki, the Marine Six Styles, and a fortune in gold and silver. There was nothing left keeping me here.

I wasn't a pirate, despite the bounties I'd collected. I fought them, turned them in, got paid. Simple.

Besides, I could always return. Time here would freeze the moment I left, meaning I wouldn't miss a thing. But for now, my focus had shifted—I wanted to build my peerage and return to a world with modern conveniences.

Training had become monotonous. It was all I did because, honestly, there hadn't been much else to do.

A pawn peerage piece appeared in my palm. I wasn't summoning anyone—yet. This was for unlocking my next destination, a world filled with potential recruits.

I focused. The option to travel between worlds appeared before me. With a thought, I selected my destination and adjusted my background and age to fit.

"Let's begin."

The world around me shifted.

Arrival in a New World

My eyes snapped open as a flood of information filled my mind.

[Harry Potter world unlocked for travel.]

[Magic has been unlocked for peerage members.]

I glanced at my hands—they were smaller. As expected, since I had set my age to eleven. I climbed out of bed and made my way to the nearest bathroom.

Staring into the mirror, I saw my features hadn't changed much—just younger.

"Still, an eleven-year-old shouldn't have muscles like these."

Despite my reduced height—just under six feet—my physique remained in peak condition.

I raised a hand, willing Armament Haki to coat my fist. A familiar black sheen spread across my skin.

"Good."

Satisfied, I returned to my room, where a desk held several items waiting for me:

The deed to this townhouse.

Identification, both magical and mundane.

A magic pouch filled with money—£100,000 in cash and 100,000 Galleons.

The house itself was well-located, just a block away from the Leaky Cauldron in London. Protected by strong wards, it was completely under my control.

The layout was practical: the master bedroom and two guest rooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom. The ground floor had a kitchen, dining room, living room, and another bathroom. The basement was mostly empty except for a laundry room.

It was fully furnished, though the appliances were old-school. Given this was London in the early '90s, that wasn't surprising.

Settling into the living room, I leaned back into the couch. It was time to summon my first peerage member.

Holding up my bishop piece, I focused on the one I wished to summon.

The Girl in the Darkness

She had no idea how long she had been trapped in the abyss—her only company was silence.

Her body, bound in a special anti-magic cube, refused to die. Had she not been immortal, she would have perished long ago.

Her skin was ghastly pale, her once vibrant form reduced to a skeletal husk. Hunger and thirst gnawed at her insides, tormenting her endlessly.

She had screamed. Begged. Pleaded. But only silence answered.

She dreamed of freedom. Hallucinated it, even. But every time she awoke, nothing had changed.

Until now.

This illusion was different.

She found herself sitting in a gray room, her weakened body slumped over. Blinking against the light, she lifted her head.

Across from her sat a boy she didn't recognize. Handsome. Calm. Powerful.

Then, foreign knowledge flooded her mind.

[Peerage.]

[Summoning.]

[King.]

"Summoning? Like the heroes of legend?"

The boy—her summoner—stood and walked toward her. Gently, he lifted her frail body, his warmth seeping into her ice-cold skin. He smelled of fresh earth, something unknown yet comforting.

Her dry lips cracked open. "…Who… are… you…?"

"My name is Ryan. I'm here to help you."

Her dull red eyes widened. "…Help…?"

He nodded. "You know about peerages, right? This is like a hero's summoning. If you accept, I can take you to my world. You'll be free, but bound to me."

He barely finished before she whispered:

"…I accept…!"

She didn't care about the price. She didn't care if this was another cruel dream.

"Alright, but let me explain everything first."

Ryan took his time, describing the Harry Potter world, the magical school, and her adjusted age so they could attend together. More importantly, he reassured her—his peerage piece would heal her.

"Is that okay?"

She nodded. Anything was better than this prison.

A bishop piece appeared in his hand and slowly sank into her chest.

Summoning Yue

A bright glow filled the room as the bishop piece took form.

Long, golden-blonde hair. Blood-red eyes. Pale skin. A white dress with a red bow in her hair. Red shoes. A small leather backpack on her back.

She blinked, adjusting to the light. Then, her gaze fell to her hands, tracing over her smooth, unbound skin.

A trembling hand reached forward, brushing against my cheek.

"Is this real?" Her voice, now soft and feminine, carried a trace of disbelief.

"Yes."

"Not a dream?"

She hesitated before throwing herself into my arms, burying her face into my shirt, breathing deeply as if memorizing my scent.

"No. It's real."

That was all it took. She broke down into deep, gasping sobs, her small frame trembling against me.

[Aletia Galdea Vesperitio Avatarl has joined the peerage.]

[Arifureta world is available for travel.]

A Vampire's First Taste

After some time, Yue sat curled in my lap, quietly taking in her new surroundings.

Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better first peerage member. In the original story, she had been fiercely devoted to Hajime, her savior. Now, I had summoned her long before his arrival.

An immortal vampire with immense magical talent and a healing factor—what more could I ask for?

Speaking of vampires...

"Are you hungry? Do you need blood?"

Yue's eyes flashed. She wasn't starving, but her gaze lingered on my neck.

"Yes."

"You can drink from me, but be careful. I'm not sure if your teeth can pierce my skin."

She hesitated only a moment before I felt her warm breath against my throat. Then, soft lips. A sharp pinch.

And then—

A soft, shuddering moan.

Yue's body tensed as my blood flowed into her. It wasn't just nourishing—it was intoxicating. Pure, euphoric energy surged through her veins, overwhelming her senses.

She trembled, her grip tightening on my shirt as her body reacted instinctively. It didn't take long before she threw her head back, shuddering in silent ecstasy.

A minute passed before she collapsed against me, her lips still brushing against my neck as she lazily licked the last remnants of blood.

"You done?"

"Mhm."

"Feel better?"

"Mhm." She nuzzled against me.

I sighed. "Alright, enough of that. We still have things to do."

I had a feeling my new vampire was going to be trouble.

And yet… I didn't mind one bit.
