What an extraordinary enlightenment.

Kiara couldn't help but admire him.

After only a few words of guidance, he understood the meaning behind her words, and finally, someone other than her could grasp this.

At this moment, Kyouya seemed to gradually fall into a state of mind.

She didn't stop him, and as the sky slowly darkened, it wasn't until evening that he finally came to his senses.

"Huh? What time is it now?"

He looked outside in surprise. He had never been so engrossed in reading that he had lost track of time.

This feeling was truly new.

"It's around six o'clock. Fujimaru-kun, why don't you stay here and have dinner?"

If it was any other time, Kyouya would certainly not pass up a free meal.

However, he left some emergency food in the fridge with his parents away on a business trip.

He would still prefer to go home and cook.

"Is that so? Well, next time then."

The Ryuudou family was quite wealthy and didn't mind if friends came over and grabbed a couple of meals.

Watching Kyouya leave, Issei suddenly remembered something.

"I heard recently... never mind, this guy would probably be more concerned about the bear's safety if he encountered one in the wild."

He had indeed heard that there had been strange occurrences around Mount Enzou lately, with wild animals looking tense and disturbances happening at night.

But in the end, it was just disturbances, and there have been no casualties so far.

Moreover, when wild animals encounter him who knows who might get hurt?

Although the Aozaki sisters weren't ones to kill innocents indiscriminately, this situation still involved the most important heritage and legacy of the Aozaki family.

They had been holding back their grudges for so many years, and now, no matter who tried to intervene, it would be useless.

"That's not likely. Although that guy has strong magic resistance, we have a pretty good idea of where the Aozaki sisters will fight."

She glanced at the map of Fuyuki City and marked the locations of the four ley lines.

"Although Touko has reached the Rank of Grand, Grand is more of a symbol of magecraft prowess, not combat ability. To defeat a magician... even one who doesn't use magic, is not an easy task. She will need to rely on the ley lines' power."

"That place isn't something you can walk into using magic resistance. Mount Enzou is remote, and the sisters will likely choose to act during the late hours when few people are around. It would just be bad luck if he still manages to wander into such a place."

To prevent Kyouya from becoming too curious and doing something stupid, Rin deliberately didn't tell him that Mount Enzou was likely the Aozaki sisters' battlefield.

She only told him not to go out at night and really couldn't figure out her student anymore.

"You're right, as long as he doesn't go out at night, he won't run into those two. That's one way to avoid it."

Kirei wasn't particularly worried.

After all, with Gilgamesh protecting him, even if Kyouya did encounter a magus, he should be able to walk away unscathed.

Kirei had a feeling that Kyouya would inevitably get caught up in some strange situation, and that would be... so entertaining.

Or maybe this night on Mount Enzou had turned into another dimension entirely.

In just a few steps, Kyouya took him to a whole new place.

"Ritsuka's still waiting for me to cook dinner."

He muttered to himself.

He may have prepared a bento, but making a kid eat pre-packed food for dinner felt wrong.

No matter what was happening, he was determined to head back.

"Boom~"

A muffled thud echoed, resembling the footsteps of a gigantic beast, but the source of the sound wasn't from the surroundings... it was from...

"Under my feet?"

In that split second, the once-solid ground cracked open, suddenly causing the previously flat surface to collapse.

What the hell is this?

There was no solid ground to stand on, and he didn't forget the training he had learned in simulations.

"Hey, Aoko, is this the ally you brought?"

"You really think I need help? Looks more like your backup to me."

The two sharp voices echoed through the air.

He sighed internally.

"...What if I just wandered in here by accident?"

He asked cautiously.

"Then you're really out of luck."
