Fairy Tail: Strongest Creature

Chapter 6: Integration into the Guild

Two young children with silver hair like Mirajane's ran up to her, concern etched on their faces. Su Yan recognized them as her younger siblings: Elfman and Lisanna.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go all out like that," Su Yan apologized as he approached Mirajane. This was, after all, the first time he had sparred with a girl—and he hadn't expected things to go this way.

Mirajane, though visibly in pain, gritted her teeth and managed a challenging smile. "It's nothing. I'm fine. Sure, you won *this* time, but I'll beat you for sure next time!"

Su Yan nodded. "Alright. I'll be waiting."

Around them, the guild members murmured in amazement.

"Did he really just beat Macao *and* Mirajane?"

"Who is this guy?"

Witnessing the clash firsthand had left an impression. They knew Mirajane's Take Over magic was formidable—especially her Satan Soul transformation, which dramatically boosted her physical and magical abilities. Yet Su Yan had managed to defeat her with a single punch.

Just then, Makarov's booming voice cut through the chatter. "Another fight in the guild? I said no more magic duels indoors! Do you two have any idea what you've done?!"

With his hands enlarged by magic, Makarov reached down, plucking Su Yan and Mirajane off the floor like misbehaving kittens. Both looked sheepishly at the ground.

"Fix the wall!" Makarov ordered, setting them down. "If you don't get it done, there'll be no dinner for either of you!"

"Hmph! Fine, fine! I've done it plenty of times before," Mirajane muttered, turning to lead the way to the basement as if she knew it well. Apparently, she'd repaired her fair share of walls in the past.

Su Yan shook his head, realizing that his first official task as a Fairy Tail member would be fixing the damage he'd caused. *Still, being part of Fairy Tail feels worth it,* he thought.

With tools in hand, the two of them set to work on the repairs, soon joined by Lisanna and Elfman.

"Hi, I'm Lisanna!" Lisanna said, looking up at him with a warm smile. "Sorry you got dragged into this right after joining. My sister can be a bit… fiery. Please don't be upset with her."

Her innocent expression melted Su Yan's heart. "No worries, it's really my fault for not controlling my strength," he said, smiling back.

"You're so nice, Brother Su Yan!" Lisanna replied cheerfully.

Hearing her call him "brother" made Su Yan's heart skip a beat. Lisanna's charm and kindness were legendary among the guild members, and it was impossible not to feel drawn to her warmth.

"Lisanna, quit being so friendly!" Mirajane grumbled, casting a wary glance back at them. Su Yan wasn't just a new member to her; he was now her biggest rival, and she couldn't let her sister get *too* close to him.

Lisanna stuck her tongue out at Mirajane, making Su Yan chuckle.

Just then, a lively boy with pink hair bounded over. "You're amazing! You beat Macao *and* Mirajane! I'm Natsu Dragneel. Since we're guildmates now, let me help with the repairs, too!" Natsu grinned eagerly.

"Thanks, Natsu," Su Yan replied.

Mirajane glared at Natsu. "I didn't ask you to help! And I only lost this time—I'll beat him soon enough!"

One by one, more children in the guild gathered around, eager to help. Many introduced themselves to Su Yan, names he recognized from *Fairy Tail's* future. These kids would become some of the guild's strongest members, and now here they were, working together to fix a simple wall.

With everyone pitching in, the repairs were done in no time. Once finished, they all sat down together, eating and laughing, sharing stories and dreams.

Though Su Yan had the mind of an adult, he felt at ease with this group of spirited young wizards. He hadn't realized how much he missed the warmth of companionship until now. The guild's camaraderie wrapped around him like a blanket, soothing the tension he'd carried since arriving in this world. Being alone on a deserted island was no heroic adventure; it was lonely and, at times, terrifying. In *Fairy Tail,* he finally felt a sense of belonging.

When Makarov had invited him to join the guild, Su Yan had accepted without hesitation. This guild might look different from the anime—since everyone was still so young—but the *feeling* was unmistakable. These were his people, his new family. And he realized now he'd do whatever it took to protect them.

As they laughed and talked, Su Yan's thoughts drifted to the looming threats of this world. Chief among them was the Black Dragon, Acnologia—the most dangerous creature in the world of *Fairy Tail,* feared by wizards and humans alike.

With Kaido's template, Su Yan had inherited the Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon. In a sense, he was now a dragon himself, albeit one from the East, while Acnologia was a Western Black Dragon. While the anime had shown Acnologia's destructive power, which exceeded even Kaido's, Su Yan had something Acnologia didn't—a system to help him grow even stronger, at his own pace.

Knowing this, Su Yan felt a surge of resolve. One day, he would face Acnologia in battle, dragon against dragon. But before that, he needed to train, to reach his full potential, and to build the power he would need to stand a chance.

For now, though, he looked around at his new guildmates. He could see Natsu's enthusiasm, Erza's quiet determination, Mirajane's fiery spirit, and Lisanna's gentle warmth.

In this moment, he made a silent vow: *I'll protect them. I'll protect Fairy Tail. And one day, I'll be strong enough to face Acnologia.*

As his new family laughed and celebrated around him, Su Yan smiled, feeling truly at home in Fairy Tail.
