Chapter 2: Stun the City
Everyone in the guild, except for Makarov, was left stunned.
*Who is this newcomer?* They all wondered. Su Yan's bold claim that he might kill Macao with one punch was almost too outrageous to believe.
Macao's face flushed with embarrassment. Being looked down on by a kid was infuriating.
"Alright, then! Let's see if you can actually 'kill me with one punch,'" he sneered, determined to teach this kid a lesson.
"Do we really have to fight?" Su Yan asked, casting a glance at Makarov.
"Yes, you have to," Macao insisted.
Makarov gave a slight nod, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Go ahead, Su Yan. Show everyone what you're made of; otherwise, they'll keep underestimating you. But try to hold back—don't go too hard."
Su Yan sighed, nodding. "Alright, if you insist…"
The guild members leaned in eagerly, curious about this newcomer Makarov had vouched for. They wanted to see for themselves what kind of power he had, especially after making such a big claim.
"Come on, kid!" Macao taunted. "Let's head out to the clearing behind the guild; we'll have all the space we need."
Su Yan shook his head, waving off the idea. "No need. Right here is fine."
"Wait… what?" The guild members exchanged uneasy looks. *Right here? Inside the guild?* The guild hall wasn't exactly the ideal place for a fight. What if they destroyed something?
Without further explanation, Su Yan's expression shifted, and a powerful, misty aura erupted from him. The energy was overwhelming, like an unseen force pressing down on everything and everyone in its path. It radiated outwards, filling the guild and spilling into Magnolia Town.
*Boom!*
The guild trembled.
*Crack!*
The tables, chairs, and walls around Su Yan began to fracture, thin cracks running through them as if something monumental had struck the building.
In a heartbeat, everyone in the guild turned pale.
*Thud. Thud. Thud.*
One by one, every member of Fairy Tail crumpled to the ground, unconscious. Beyond the guild, even the townspeople of Magnolia were affected, fainting as the powerful aura rolled through the streets.
Only Makarov remained standing, though he looked thoroughly rattled. A bead of sweat ran down his forehead. *That power…*
He shot to Su Yan's side, delivering a swift knock on the boy's head. "You little troublemaker! I told you to go easy! You nearly demolished the guild!"
Su Yan winced, rubbing his head, his expression slightly sheepish. "I didn't really want to fight, but you all insisted! I *was* holding back as much as I could…"
He glanced around at the scattered, unconscious bodies, knowing his new power was a lot to handle. The ability was still recent, and he struggled to control the intensity of his *Haki,* a potent aura from a different power system entirely.
Makarov shook his head, both exasperated and impressed. "What exactly was that just now?" he asked, still trying to grasp what he had just witnessed. "It looked like a magical attack, but it didn't feel like magic."
"It's... not really magic," Su Yan replied, hesitating as he tried to explain. "It's more of a technique—a force of will. It's similar to mental shock magic, but... different."
Gradually, the guild members began to stir, groaning as they regained consciousness. They looked around, dazed, trying to understand what had happened.
"What just… happened?" one of them asked, rubbing his head.
"Did I... faint?" another muttered.
Macao was among those coming to his senses. As he blinked and realized he was on the ground, he looked up at Su Yan with newfound caution. He opened his mouth, struggling to make sense of it.
"I, uh... I must've blacked out…" He staggered to his feet, still a bit wobbly, then tried to recover his dignity. "Alright, let's continue our fight! I wasn't ready before, but now—"
Makarov cut him off with a chuckle. "Continue? I think it's clear who won. Su Yan already knocked you out with just his aura alone."
"Wait… what?"
The entire guild stared at Su Yan in shock. They were just realizing that they had fainted because of him. It wasn't an accident; it was his *doing.*
Su Yan scratched his head, embarrassed. "Uh… sorry about that. I'm still getting the hang of this power, and I guess I overdid it."
The guild members were dumbfounded. Moments later, the shock turned into admiration.
"That was… incredible!"
"Where did Master Makarov find this little powerhouse?"
"The Master's got an eye for talent!"
Makarov beamed, puffing up proudly at their comments. Inwardly, he was thrilled. Finding Su Yan had been a stroke of luck; he had encountered the young wizard on Tenrou Island, Fairy Tail's holy ground. And now, seeing his potential firsthand, he knew Su Yan was going to be something special.
At that moment, a strange, mechanical voice echoed in Su Yan's mind:
**[Ding! Automatic sign-in successful!]**
**[Sign-in location: Fairy Tail Guild]**
**[Reward: 100 free attribute points!]**
Su Yan's eyes brightened. *A hundred attribute points just for signing in at the Fairy Tail guild?* He could hardly believe it. He felt a rush of excitement—this new boost would make him even stronger.
