Fairy Tail: Strongest Creature

Chapter 160: It's Definitely Possible

Lucy began to explain why she was here.

"At the moment when Magnolia Town was swallowed by Anima, I used the clock stand to escape and hid in another space.

"When I reappeared, I found that the entire Magnolia Town had disappeared, and I was alone."

"That's when Mystogan showed up, and he threw me into this world after asking me a bunch of questions."

"By the way, Mystogan also said that if I meet Su Yan and you here, I should tell you not to worry. If you can delay time, try to delay it as much as possible. He's searching for traces of Anima, and he'll restore Magnolia to how it was."

"Restore it?!"

Everyone had come here to rescue the guild and the entire city, but so far, they had no real leads. Hearing Mystogan had a way to bring Magnolia Town back was definitely good news.

"What's with that guy?" Natsu asked, looking puzzled. Although he knew Mystogan had been in Fairy Tail alongside Su Yan for about seven years, he had never truly seen Mystogan's face.

"I don't know that either."

"What about you, Su Yan? Have you met Mystogan? Who is that guy?"

Su Yan smiled. "You'll be shocked when you see him."

"Shocked?! Does that guy look scary?!"

Wendy said, "Are you talking about Mystogan? He said that was his name in the world of Earthland, and he had another name: Jellal."

She remembered that seven years ago Mystogan had told her, before taking her to the cat house, that his name was Jellal.

"Jellal?!!!"

Natsu, Lucy, and Happy couldn't help exclaiming. Their impression of Jellal ran deep—he had hurt Erza, and then there was that terrifying magic power he wielded.

Anyone who'd witnessed that kind of devastating attack would never forget it.

"What's wrong with Jellal?" The others were puzzled.

Hearing this, Natsu and the others didn't know quite how to explain. It wasn't just a simple "problem"—it was a big problem.

"What's going on, Su Yan?" Lucy asked, apparently turning to the only one who knew.

Su Yan smiled and said, "It's just like how you see two Lucys right now."

The two Lucys looked at each other, and everyone's attention turned to them.

Carla, realizing something, said in surprise, "You mean Mystogan is the Jellal of Edolas?!"

When the others heard Carla's comment, they caught on as well.

Su Yan nodded. "That's right, so don't view Mystogan with hostile eyes. Jellal is Jellal, Mystogan is Mystogan. He's still our guild companion."

Everyone nodded. They understood, especially after seeing identical Lucys.

"By the way, Lucy, how come you can use magic in this world?!" Natsu asked the question weighing on his mind. In this world, magic was extremely difficult to use. Without magic power, he couldn't fight properly—even though he still wanted to charge into the capital.

"Yeah." Lucy thought about it, and then went off on a mental tangent: "Could it be that I'm the legendary hero?"

"No way."

"Don't be so quick to deny it!!"

Wendy asked, "So what do we do now?"

Everyone looked to Su Yan, waiting for his decision.

"Let's keep heading for the capital. Mystogan says he might be able to restore Magnolia, but we don't know how long that'll take. We still need to ensure the safety of everyone in the guild."

"Okay!"

That night, they arrived in Sycca City to rest. Perhaps because of its proximity to the royal capital, Sycca City was much busier than Louen City.

Lisanna and Lucy were the same age, and they quickly became close friends, chatting about everything.

Lucy learned a lot from Lisanna about Su Yan and Natsu's childhood, and Lisanna heard from Lucy about the changes that had taken place in Fairy Tail over the past two years.

Lucy also told Lisanna about some of Su Yan and Natsu's crazy exploits—secretly doing S-rank missions, crashing into a train with his body, and so on. Though Lisanna was initially shocked, she quickly got over it; somehow that kind of reckless behavior seemed believable for Su Yan.

She also heard about the war between Phantom Lord and Fairy Tail, learning that Su Yan had single-handedly taken out their rival guild, which was on equal footing with Fairy Tail and even had one of the Ten Wizard Saints.

There was also the Tower of Heaven incident, the Fairy Tail vs. Laxus event, and the clash with Oracion Seis.

Wendy and Carla listened intently as well. Having joined Fairy Tail only recently, they were unfamiliar with these stories.

Lisanna was astonished that Lucy had experienced so many major events in less than half a year since joining the guild. It felt like she had been away, not for two years, but for ten.

She also missed everyone in Fairy Tail terribly. Lucy mentioned that on rainy days, Mirajane and Elfman went to church to pay their respects; Lisanna felt a pang in her heart when she heard that, and Edolas' Lucy felt the same. She realized it was too selfish to keep Lisanna here—her real family was in Earthland.

Lucy looked at everyone and asked, "Do you really think you can defeat the Royal Army?"

"Absolutely!!" Lucy (Earthland) and Wendy replied in unison.

Carla, meanwhile, had her doubts about herself and Happy, but when she remembered Su Yan's terrifying power—like when he destroyed Nirvana—she realized that if he unleashed that kind of attack on the Edolas capital, the entire royal city might well be reduced to rubble.

There was a legend that a single dragon could wipe out a country, and it seemed entirely possible Su Yan could do the same.
