I was given a new quest, this was interesting, I was going to expand my territory and get more rewards and stats from it.

It was good but the downside was I needed to build something in my territory,

As I was thinking of how I can build buildings and make a habitable land a 4 year old girl resembling Lina came in to her room, she had fiery hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white dress that seemed to be made of cotton. It was quite simple but the color really stood out against her fair skin.

Her long hair reached down past her shoulders, it was so soft, smooth and shiny as if it were coated with oil. her skin colour was pale like porcelain, and her face had high cheekbones and a small nose. Her lips were full and pouty.

The girl was looking at me with a curious look on her face,

"Hey are you the new pet my sister brought home?"

'I decided to just ignore the question. As I have no way of communicating with this human.'

She ran up to me and hugged me, I tried to shake her off but she didn't let go,.

"Big sister brought you home, so you are also my pet!"

I had an angry look on my face, I was not a pet, I was the one who decided to stay here!.

I was about to push her away, then Lina walked into the room,

"Irene, leave Kamish alone."

She looked at Irene.

"What do you mean it's your pet? you need to ask me before claiming him as your own!"

"But big sister, the dragon is so cute and it doesn't mind being petted."

"That doesn't mean it's your pet, I will explain the difference between the owner and the pet, ok?"

Lina took her little sister outside the room, leaving me alone.

As she left the room, I sighed in relief,

"This human is exhausting..."

I laid on the floor and closed my eyes.

****

A few minutes later, Lina returned,

"Hey, sorry about that, my sister can be a handful sometimes."

She sat down on the floor and started stroking my scales.

"But you have to admit, you are pretty cute, right? Awww, you are like a giant dog."

I wanted to argue back but I couldn't, not that I had a choice.

She kept patting me until a knock came from the door,

"Lina, can I come in?"

"Yes."

An elderly woman with a wrinkled face and graying hair came into the room.

The woman wore a simple white dress, her long, thin hands were covered by a pair of leather gloves.

She walked slowly and carefully, her footsteps barely making any noise as she entered the room.

"Good afternoon, miss Lina."

She spoke softly, her voice low and quiet.

"Hi, Grandma."

"Is this the pet dragon you mentioned yesterday? It looks a lot smaller than the dragons I've seen before, though."

"Yes, this is Kamish."

"Kamish, what a cute name. Hello, Kamish, my name is Alana."

The old woman knelt down beside the dragon and held out her hand towards him,

"Nice to meet you, little dragon."

I turned my head away and refused to acknowledge her presence.

She laughed and scratched my chin.

"Oh, I see. You're just shy. Well, don't worry. I won't hurt you."

Alana smiled warmly, her eyes shining brightly.

"Lina, have you decided what you will do today?"

"Hmm, well, I have some things I want to do. What about you?"

"I have a lot of work to do today. There are a lot of things I need to prepare."

Lina nodded,

"Okay, well, I'll help you out then."

Alana smiled and ruffled Lina's hair,

"Thank you, Lina. I'm glad you're such a good girl."

Me and Lina walked into a massive chamber filled with all sorts of furniture. Everything looked expensive, and it smelled like incense and perfume.

There were chairs, couches, tables, desks, cabinets, chests, beds, wardrobes, chests, drawers, trunks, and other things I had never seen before.

This was the chamber where Belersion the female dragon I met 2 days ago was resting.

"Hello Belersion I'll be leaving Kamish with you.."

The female dragon lifted her head up and yawned.

"And what would you like me to do with it. Its not like I can eat it."

Belersion stretched and yawned again, before standing up and shaking her body shaking her large draconic body.

Her golden eyes locked onto me.

"Hmmm...it does look tasty."

"What? No! It's a pet!"

"Hmmm...maybe. But I think you're lying. Why else would a girl like you keep such a dangerous beast around? Hmmm..."

"I'm not lying! And he's not dangerous! He's very sweet, actually."

"Hmph. Well, if you say so. But I don't believe you. I think it's just a toy for you."

Belersion walked towards me, her tail swishing behind her.

"Come here, little dragon."

I looked back at Lina and she just shrugged.

I turned back to the dragon, and crawled up onto her head. She ruffled my scales,

"I wonder what your insides taste like."

"Hey, don't eat him, he's my pet!"

"Hmph."

She stopped ruffling my scales and let me sit on top of her head, she seemed a bit hesitant, but it was too late to change my mind.

I'll go and teach this dragon as per your request, but after that you have to leave me alone!

Lina pouted and walked out of the room.

I was still sitting on Belersion's head,

"Little Dragon as you are not able to speak I'll be using Telepathy magic"

She opened her eyes and stared at me,

"You can speak through telepathy, little dragon."

I blinked.

"You can talk to me with telepathy, little dragon."

"..."

"I happened to notice as you were here you have never eaten any type of fire"

"You should have an insatiable hunger for it, have you not realized it?"

"Dragons can eat the element they were born with it's in their nature to have a hunger for the element they have, as you are still young you probably haven't noticed it"

"How come I don't know it?"

"Beleraion started speaking. It's because you are a newborn, a hatchling, a fledgling. You have a lot to learn, little dragon."

"Well, then teach me, oh wise and powerful one!"

She laughed, her voice echoing throughout the room.

"Yes, yes, you will learn a lot. I will teach you how to control your elemental energy, how to create spells, how to fight, how to defend yourself, and most importantly, how to use your breath weapon!"

"So, you can teach me all these things?"

"Of course! You're a dragon, it's natural for us to teach each other."

"But as we are of differnt Elements my Teaching will be limited, I can teach you how to fight and master the basics of your element but anything more is impossible for me."

'I noddedd signalling that I was saying yes.'

"So, let's begin."

"Yes, master."

As your element is Fire we'll have to go to a differnt place. Belersion stood up and began walking towards the door, her steps slow and heavy.

As I was sitting on her head, she walked out the door and into a massive corridor, which was empty except for the occasional guard.

"Now, let's go somewhere more private. We wouldn't want to disturb the humans."

"Pft Ahaha"

After walking for a few minutes, we arrived at a large door.

Belersion opened the door and stepped inside.

There was a large open space with several pools of water scattered about, the air was warm and humid.

The walls and floors were made of stone, and the ceiling was high.

It was dark inside, the only light coming from the torches on the walls. This was a corridor leading to a forest with plenty tress as this was a plain of a forest There were bushes and massive mountains in the background

There was a small table and chair in the corner, and a pile of books lay on the floor.

We sat down, and Belersion began to explain what she wanted to teach me.

"First off, you must understand the difference between Elemental Energy and Magic."

"Elemental Energy is something every living creature possesses. It exists everywhere around us, and is even present in our bodies. For example, the sun gives life to plants and animals through the transfer of energy,"

"so does wind blow across the earth, and rivers carry water from mountains to plains. Water evaporates and returns to the ground, and eventually falls back to the sea. In short, Elements exist naturally, they are part of nature itself. This is why we call them Natural Elements."

"However, there are some people who have learned to harness their own energy, using it to perform amazing feats. They are called Mages, and they are able to manipulate the elements to achieve great results. Some examples include healing wounds, creating weapons, and controlling weather patterns. "

"As you might have noticed, this type of energy requires very little mana to maintain. But unlike Elemental Energy, which comes from the environment, Mage energy originates entirely from the user themselves. And because of that, it takes much longer to recharge once depleted."

"This means Mages often use potions and other items to keep their energy levels replenished while fighting. However, if used too frequently, the body becomes dependent on those materials and may start showing signs of addiction."

But Dragons combine these features to create Dragon Magic, we combine the Elemental power that we were born with and accumulate mana in a our Dragon heart, as we are naturally born with an element in our body's it make the Eternano in the surrounding are to be constantly pulled into our Dragon Heart.

the energy of two different magics they are both from each other but when combined they form a new thing called a dragon magic.

Dragon Magic is not like any kind of magic that we know it works differently than anything else it has a huge range of effect and uses all kinds of things from the most common.

being changing the surrounding area into whatever element a dragon has, most of the time this will change the landscape of a kingdom or territory for Hundreds or thousands of years as the Eternano we gather and combine with our dragon heart pulls closer to our magic enhancing it even when it no longer exits

"I'll give you an example do you see that mountain behind us"

I nodded. "Yes."

"Belersion continued. | don't need to tell you how large it is right?"

I'll freeze it whole the whole mountain will be a frozen spike. I thought about what she said, imagining it. She was probably going to make a giant ice wall around the city.

That would certainly stop any enemy from getting inside. She then explained her next move, making me realize just how many things dragons could do. It wasn't just ice walls. They had ways to destroy entire cities without touching them.

"Well let me do it now and you will see what I mean"

Roar

Belersion took a deep breath and released an enormous amount of ice from her mouth. The ice was so thick that it was hard to see her mouth, Her breath was like a giant snowstorm that just kept coming out of her mouth like lava from a volcano.

The massive storm of ice surrounded the mountain, covering the top of the peak and reaching down to where the trees grew. A layer of ice formed around the base of the mountain, forming a barrier around the forest.

There weren't very many people who knew Belersion's true strength, but even they wouldn't believe what happened after she finished breathing out her Ice Breath.

It looked as though someone had taken a gigantic hammer and smashed the mountain apart. Cracks ran across the surface of the ice, revealing the bare rock underneath.

But that wasn't the end of it; cracks began spreading through the earth itself, eventually turning it into a cracked mess of ice and stone. The ground started shaking, causing rocks to fall onto the road below. As if that were not enough, the mountain actually split open, sending chunks of rubble flying everywhere.

Eventually, the entire mountain crumbled away, leaving nothing but a pile of ice and snow on the mountainside.

The whole process lasted only a few seconds, but when it was over, everything looked completely different. Where before stood a large forest and a mountain, now lay a frozen tundra. Snow and ice covered the now flatten mountain with snow and ice covering the area it was now a freezing tundra.

A cold wind blew past me, carrying the smell of winter along with it. This place really did feel like a frozen wasteland. The air felt dry and brittle against my skin. I couldn't help but shiver.

Belersion smiled at me, pleased with herself.

"This is what happens when a dragon uses their Roar."

I didn't know why, but I suddenly realized something strange. Before we left, she hadn't seemed particularly strong compared to other dragons.

Now, however, she'd blown up a mountain! Was she trying to tell me something? Had she been hiding all of this until now because there was no need for others to know about it yet? Or maybe she wanted me to learn more about dragons and their abilities. Either way, I decided to keep quiet.

"As I've shown you Dragon magic is inherently Destructive, no matter the element a young dragon could Destroy a mountain with ease. It would appear you've gained some. understanding of our powers. However, while you may think of us as mindless beasts, the truth of it is far different. "

We're intelligent creatures capable of rational thought and self-control. That's right, even dragons possess the ability to choose how they act. Of course, many of us don't exercise that choice very often...

"What?" I asked Belersion.

"Didn't you just say that dragons aren't supposed to be able to control themselves?!"

"You seem confused. Allow me to explain."

"Dragons are born with a natural affinity towards one specific element. When a child grows older and gains experience, they begin to specialize in that particular element. In short, most dragons spend their lives learning spells related to their innate nature. "

"There are exceptions, of course.

there always are but those who lack a true elemental affinity tend not to last long in battle.

For example, let's look at myself. My body naturally generates Ice. As a result, I'm much better suited for combat involving Ice manipulation. "

"By contrast, if someone were to ask me to cast healing magic, my spell might end up hurting, if it isn't used correctly Ice would kill since Ice at a low enough temperature can kill almost anything. "

"But enough talk. time to see how well you understand the ways of dragons."

I looked around again. We had arrived at another crater. It appeared that the ground here was completely covered in snow, making it impossible for me to spot where we were going. At least, it would have been hard without Belersion guidance.

She led the way through the snowy landscape, stopping occasionally so I could get a closer view of things.

After walking on foot for quite awhile, we finally reached our destination: a small hillock with a cave carved into its side.

"Is this your home?"

Belersion laughed.

"Yes, I suppose you could call it that."

We entered the cave together. It was dark and cramped, but warm. Inside, there was a single room with a wooden table, chairs, and a fireplace. A single lantern hung from the ceiling, casting flickering shadows against the stone walls.

"Welcome to my humble abode," Belersion said.

"You live alone?" I asked.

"Naturally. It's not like I need a housemate

anyway. I'm perfectly fine with living by myself."

"But aren't you lonely?"

"No. I have plenty of friends, and my family visits regularly."

"I see..."

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Nothing. You just surprised me, is all."

"How so?"

"I thought you'd be much more... aggressive."

Belersion smiled.

"Don't get me wrong. I'm very capable of fighting."

"Of course. Your Magic is powerful enough to turn a mountain into an ice field."

"Yes. But that's not the only thing I'm capable of. For example, I can create walls of ice or spears of frost. Those skills aren't just limited to attacking, either. They can also be used defensively."

"Like a shield?"

"Precisely. If you can create a shield of ice, then you can block attacks easily."

"But doesn't a shield need to be strong enough to withstand attacks?"

"True. However, when using Ice magic, you can make a shield strong enough to withstand most attacks. That's why I don't need anyone else to protect me."

"So that's why you live alone? To protect yourself?"

"That's one reason. Another reason is that I can't stand to be around other people."

"Really?"

"Yes. It's annoying. Everyone expects me to act a certain way, or do things I don't want to. And sometimes, people get hurt."

"I can relate."

"I'm sure you can. Now, let's get back to teaching you how to use Dragon Magic. You're already getting pretty good, but there's still much more for you to learn."

"As your Element is fire you probably aren't used to being constantly surrounded by your imposing element as I don't know any water dragons I thought to bring you here to my home. this place is filled with my magic and it will not go out by any type of Fire"

"Okay."

We exited the cave and started walking down the hill towards the lake. When we got there, I noticed that the water was completely frozen solid. There was no sign of any movement whatsoever.

"Here we are. This is where I train. Every morning, I come here and practice my skills."

"Isn't that dangerous? What if something

happens and you're injured?"

"Don't worry. My ice will protect me."

"What about your opponent? Won't they suffer?"

"Not necessarily. Most people would die instantly from such a cold environment."

"Why is that?"

"Because I use ice to freeze the air. When a person breathes, their lungs fill with water vapor. That vapor freezes, forming crystals inside their lungs.

"They would have to be as strong as a 100 year old dragon at the least to live in that state for a prolonged period of time and survive"

"I see..."

"Anyway, enough talk. Let's begin."

We walked up to the edge of the lake and stood next to each other. The ice reflected our images, creating a distorted image of us.

"Ready?"

"Sure."

"Good. Let's begin. First, i want to test your strength so come at me with the intent to kill"
