Fairy Tail: Dragon Emperor

MC POV

I open my eyes to find that all I see are trees in everywhere but I also see what looks like a destroyed merchant cart that something feels different. The last thing I remember is that I was reading the fairy tail 100 year quest manga while listening to the music from the tensura anime. I really like those works and have always wanted to use magic, who hasn't thought that at least once.

After I finished my reading I was getting ready to go to sleep but I suddenly felt a pain in my chest. I don't know why I am feeling this pain, it feels like I am having a heart attack but I have always eaten my fruits and vegetables and got exercise.

Did a shinigami write my name in his deathnote out of boredom or something? I then start to feel my consciousness fading out, is this really how I go out? From a death gods boredom? Then my consciousness faded from my body.

As I remember this, I raise my hand to see that it had become so small; so I somehow died of a heart attack and became a baby in the middle of a forest. I don't know where I am, who I am, or what is going on; I am literally starting from scratch. I didn't hear a voice during my heart attack so this isn't the tensura world.

Just as I was trying to think about where I am I hear giant footsteps and feeling the ground shake with each one. I then turn to see a dragon with cyan scales and spines down its neck and back. It reminds me of Veldanava from tensura but I didn't hear the words of the world so I ruled that world out, maybe it's a Veldanava look alike.

Me:'Regardless, this dragon looks so cool!!' I screamed in my mind while I giggled since I was still a baby.

But after I thought that, the dragon turned its head in my direction and started coming toward me. Did it hear me giggle or somehow read my mind somehow? I hope this dragon is friendly, then again its possible that this dragon destroyed this wagon and killed the poeple on it.

As soon as the dragon got close enough it started to speak.

Dragon:"Hmmm. It would seem this vehicle was destroyed and this child was the only survivor." it said the last part while looking at me and continued. "So this child is on his own, I can't just leave him here, theres no village for miles and the kingdom of Dragnof may not be safe for him at the moment. Maybe I should raise him. What do you think little one? do you want me to raise you?"

Me:'Yes, I would love to be raised by a dragon!' I said in my head while smiling and laughing.

Hold on he said kingdom of dragnof, isn't that a kingdom in earthland 400 years before the canon? So that means I am in the fairy tail verse? And if this dragon raises me then does that mean I'll become a dragon slayer!?

Dragon:"My name is Veldanava the star dragon king, you can consider me as your father. Oh right, you are going to need a name."

Wait a freakin' minute! Veldanava!? Wasn't he a true dragon from the tensura world? I do remember from the novel that when a true dragon dies he is reborn with the all their memories but their personality changes. But Veldanava wasn't reborn during both the light novel or the anime, as this why? Because he was reborn in another world instead of the cardinal world?

So was he reborn as he was before like in the cardinal world or was he reborn as a hatchling and grew up in this world. So many questions swirling in my mind.

Veldanava:"I've decided, from now on your name will be Albion. Albion Nava. How does that sound?"

Me:'Albion Nava? Hmmm... I like it.' I giggle to show that I like the name.

Veldanava:"Well Albion its nice to meet you. I'll take you to my home but first."

As he said that he was glowing and shrank down to the size of a human, must be using transformation magic. When the light faded I saw a man with long blackhair and androgynous features. His hair also has small white dots that make his hair resemble the night sky. After he transformed he walked up to me and picked me up off the ground before he sprouted dragon wings from his back.

Veldanava:"Now this should make it easier to carry you." he said before jumping into the air with me in his arms.

The wind pressure from the jump caused me to close my eyes on reflex. After the pressure was gone, I opened my eyes to see that we are flying in the sky. The view was amasing from up here, it makes one wonder if this is what it's like to be a bird or a dragon in this case.

While I was thinking this and involuntary giggling, I notice that he was looking at me with a smile on his face. But look in his eyes was like he was remembering something. He might be thinking that I remind him of Milim after she was born and he might be a wondering what she's up too.

After about an hour of flying it was getting dark we get to a plateau that offers a view of the night sky. I notice that there is a full moon in the sky tonight, but there's something about the moon but couldn't put my finger on it.

Veldanava:"Is there something wrong Albion?" he asked while looking at me while I looked at the moon.

After he asked me that question, I heard a voice.

???:"Oh my, looks like you found found something interesting Veldanava."

When we heard that voice, the moon shines brightly and I see a figure within the light. As the figure gets closer to us, I see a long elongated body, most of it covered in scales with white fur on its long neck and black fur from the joints of limbs and black markings on its shoulders with several white furry tail-like wings with black tips. Their head is shaped with a snout, black markings around the eyes, pointy ears and large crescent shaped horns protruding back with black tips.

What are the odds of meeting two dragons not long after reincarnating here?

Not only that but this dragon is very familiar.

Veldanava:"Hello Selene, its been a while since I last saw you." he said with a friendly tone.

Wait did he just say Selene, as in the Moon Dragon God Selene!? Let me think on what I've heard and seen so far; Dragons, Veldanava, kingdom of Dragnof, and Selene. This could mean that not only was I born on the Ishgar continent, I was born around 400 years ago either during or before the dragon king festival.

As I was figuring things out in my head, I hear Selenes voice again.

Selene:"From the look of things, it seems you found a rather interesting child."

Veldanava:"What do you mean by that?"

As Veldanava asked that, she began to glow and shrink to around the size of a human. When the light faded, the figure of a buxom and a curvaceous woman with her long blonde hair extending to her hips. She's wearing a loose kimono with fur lining on the top while also having flower designs all over it as well as zigzag lines on its edges with her head is covered by a hood adorned with an upward crescent moon with a gem on top as well as a pair of wings on each side.

The only way to describe her appearance is "divine", even know shes not the "Moon Dragon God" yet. After she finished transforming, she walked over to us on sandles and looked at me in Veldanavas arms.

Selene:"It would seem that he somehow sensed that I was watching. Or rather he sensed something about the moon." she said as she traced the back of her index finger on my cheek.

Veldanava:"Really? I did notice him looking at the moon before you came here. Is that really true?" he asked while looking at me.

Selene:"It appears to me he has a strong connection to the moon and the stars. would you mind if I hold him?"

Veldanava:"Sure but be careful. He is still a human child, so don't drop him." he said as he handed me to Selene.

As she held me in her arms making sure to support my head, she looked at me with affection; like how a mother looks at her child. As I think about how motherly she looks right now, my eyes grow heavy and I start to fall asleep. I lean my head toward Selene as I drifted off into dream land.

third POV

After the Baby known now as Albion nava fell asleep, whe 2 dragons in human form continued to look at his innocent face while he slept. The Dragon known as Selene started to speak.

Selene:"He seems so precious and fragile."

Veldanava:"I found him near a destroyed carriage, he was the only survivor. Even this childs parents didn't survive." Selene looked at him in horror to find out that the child now has no family as he continued. "I stored their remains with [space magic] so I can give them a proper burial later."

Selene:"Are you going to raise this child?" she asked curiously.

Veldanava:"Yes I am. Seeing him like this reminds me of my daughter milim. Maybe one day I can see her again and introduce her to her new brother Albion."

Selene:"Albion? Sounds like a fitting name for him."

They continue to look at the sleeping infant for half an hour before Selene begins to speak with resolute look on her face.

Selene:"I have decided that I am going to help you raise this child. You can be the father while I will be the mother."

Veldanava had a look of shock on his face, not expecting Selene to say such a thing.

Veldanava:"Are ou sure you want to do that?" he asked.

Selene:"I've never been this sure before. When I look at this child, I get this feeling like I want to protect him and want to see him grow up into what he could become."

Veldanava:"I know that feeling, it is the feeling of being a parent."

Selene:"Being a parent? I have several children but I've never felt like this." she said while looking at the infant in her arms before continuing. "That doesn't feel so bad."

Selene for the first time in her life felt what it was like to be a parent despite having multiple children throughout her life. I could be said that its because dragons are not as fragile as humans and that different species have different parenting methods. Who can really say for sure?

Now that Selene learned the feeling of being a mother, she would know the appreciation of having her other children to cherish. In her eyes her family increased by 1 and learned the love for her current children at the same time.

Selene:"You can't disagree with that this child needs a father and a mother to balace him out."

Veldanava:"I can't argue with that but there are also other dragons who started raising human children as single parents." he said before giving examples "Igneel, Metalicana, Skiadrum, and Weisslogia."

Selene:"That may be but Albion will have two parents. We can have Anna about language and culture. We can teach him dragon slayer magic, perhaps he can learn from other dragons as well."

Veldanava:" We can also have the celestial spirit king teach him about celestial spirit magic and celestial law. It's best that he have plenty of allies for the road ahead."

Selene:"He should know other types of magics in case his dragon slayer magic becomes unusable."

Veldanava:"Perhaps we can have irene teach him about enchanting."

The two dragons talked through the night while the infant was asleep in the female dragons arms. They want to make sure Albion had the tools he needed to defeat Acnologia and continue moving forward with his life. This is the start of how Albion Nava became his new life in earthland to eventually become the heavenly dragon emperor.
