Enjoy your reading!
- Eros," Gildarts whispered excitedly, looking at Eros's gaze, which lacked reason, there was only one rage in it... And that gaze was directed at the mage. It was the only thing that sent shivers down the senior mage's spine, - Stop looking at me like that Eros, come to your senses, stop joking, - as soon as those words left his mouth, the titan was already standing in front of him.
Gildarts only thanks to his reflexes managed to put up his arm and partially block the blow. Eros managed to catch him with his claws, at the last moment. But the demon in the form of Eros did not stop there, he attacked Gildarts again. Each blow made the ground shake.
"Damn! What to do!"- exclaimed the mage in his mind, he didn't want to hurt Eros, so he tried to use only one physical strength to block the blows and counterattack. But it saved him very little, because the titan was faster than him and his strength was just terrible, - Come to your senses! - He shouted in the face of the demon in front of him, but he only growled harder in response, -I can't last long like this, so stop playing Eros!
Gildarts continued to block the titan's attacks, thinking of a solution to the situation, but one thing Gildarts knew for sure, Eros had absorbed the demon of his own free will, which meant that the demon had a way to fight him and he just had to hold out until the titan got the upper hand. But how wrong Gildarts was at this point, for Eros himself had not expected this.
In Eros' subconscious.
Eros wandered in darkness. Everywhere he looked there was only darkness.
"I feel like I'm back in that place..."- with a slight shiver, the titan thought, trying to concentrate on the magical power in his body, but he just couldn't feel anything and that scared him the most. Still, he could hold himself back, after all, it wasn't the first time he had been in a place like this. Eros just walked forward without looking back.
And he didn't realise how much time had passed since he got to this place... Finally, he heard a sound that made him shudder... It was the sound of footsteps, and with each new step, they became louder and louder, as if "it" was approaching him. Without knowing why, Eros felt fear, he tried to run away from it, but it only got louder and louder. And when "it" was almost near him, the sound disappeared.
Eros himself did not notice how he stopped a long time ago and like a real child trembled with his eyes closed. It was only when the footsteps stopped that the titan was able to open his eyes. But there was no one in front of him or around him, only a white mist swirling around him. At that moment, he noticed a movement to his right and concentrating, the titan froze.
Right behind the white mist stood a creature without skin, its eyes were missing, instead of them there were only two failures. Though the creature had no eyes, Eros was sure it was looking right at him. The creature raised its paw and tried to strike, but just as it came in contact with the mist, the paw began to evaporate quickly before the titan's eyes, and the next moment, the mist engulfed the monster's entire body, destroying it. And when it was gone, Eros was finally able to relax.
But this silence did not last long, the titan again heard the sounds of footsteps, but this time they were much more and with every second they were getting closer....
And at that moment, the fog made itself known again. It completely enveloped Eros and began to lift him up, and the higher he was lifted, the clearer he could see the whole picture. It seemed to the titan that he saw a real hell, these creatures were not dozens, not hundreds and not thousands... But much, much more and each of them was looking at Eros and pulling their paws in his direction....
Watching all this, the titan feared only one thing, that the fog might disappear and he would fall down to them... And God only knows what they would do to him... The titan closed his eyes and covered his ears.
After an unknown amount of time, Eros was finally able to feel his footing and he opened his eyes... A pleasant wind blew across his face, there was a bright blue sky above him and grass was growing under his feet. Titan had never been so happy in his life.
But when he felt something behind him, he shuddered, turned round sharply and froze. He saw a lake with a thick black slurry, a white mist swirling above it, and a red barrier around it. But what frightened Eros were the eyes, thousands of eyes staring at him.
A black hand came out of the slurry towards the titan, but when it came in contact with the mist, it began to disintegrate. Eros could breathe a sigh of relief when he saw this, but he decided to get as far away from the place as he could and get a better look at the world he found himself in. The Titan decided to go one way....
Several hours later.
Eros could safely say that at least 3-4 hours had passed, but he still didn't see any changes, it was just one big plain... After a few more hours of aimless wandering, he finally saw something new. It was a giant dried up tree, only above it alone was a small dark cloud, completely covering the sun.
Walking closer to it, Eros froze. The tree was hollow inside, and what made him freeze was that there was someone in the tree... He pressed his knees together and trembled, but the titan couldn't recognise the same demon that had fought Gildarts.
When he heard footsteps, he stopped trembling and turned around. But when he saw Eros in front of him, he trembled even more and pressed himself against the wall of the tree as hard as possible, and in his eyes there was only one thing, that was fear, real animal fear.
- Monster..." the demon whispered in a trembling voice, "Y-you're a monster!
- And this is coming from a demon," Eros said sarcastically, "You'd better tell me where we are. - taking a step forward towards Astaroth, he shouted.
- STAY AWAY FROM ME! - and looking somewhere behind the titan's back, the latter became whiter than chalk, -You...t-you brought it here....
Eros jumped forward sharply and turned around, frozen. Behind him was the same "lake" with a thick slurry, with fog swirling above it.
- How? - Shocked, exclaimed the titan.
- STAY AWAY FROM ME! THAT THING WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW YOU! IT'S YOUR FUCKING INNER WORLD! - exclaimed the demon with rage, "And THIS! - he pointed a shaking finger at the sludge, - THERE'S WHERE YOU GET YOUR POWER! MONSTER! - He clutched his head and looked at Eros with a shudder, "How could I be swallowed by such a monster... I'd rather die than live in fear that I'll be swallowed by it someday.
When Eros sensed something wrong, he turned to the demon, but it was too late, the demon had punctured his chest and ripped out his still beating heart.
- Shit!" the titan exclaimed in frustration. He didn't feel sorry for the demon, because he deserved a much worse death, but the most unpleasant thing was that the demon knew a lot about this place... And if he wasn't lying and this place was really his inner world. His body trembled.
"What a bad time you died!"- Eros looked at the demon's corpse and was surprised, as his body began to disintegrate into a red mist that rushed towards the titan, before he could even squeak, the mist flew into his chest.
Clutching his head, he cried out in pain, the amount of information that came into his head was enormous... There were many formulas, spells, knowledge of artefacts, runes, rituals... All this poured into Eros' head in an endless stream. It was the knowledge of a demon who had lived for more than a hundred years, and even for a creature like Eros, it was too much.
While Eros was squirming on the ground, a round red sphere separated from the lake, specifically the red barrier, and flew towards the titan.
As it approached him, it first hovered over his head and after a couple of seconds began to sink into it. As soon as the orb disappeared into Eros's head, the screams began to subside, his twisted face smoothed out from the pain, and he sniffled peacefully. For the first time in so long, the titan had a dream... In the dream was his family, his mum and dad, and even his stupid brother was sitting next to him. Eros told them everything that had happened to him in this world, all the funny and sad moments, about Rani, Rick and Lily, about good old Makarov, about his teacher Gildarts and about the craziest guild in Fiora....

There wasn't a single living thing on Gildarts. He was being beaten, and the best he could do was to use his physical strength alone, because he didn't want to hurt Eros. Perhaps his magic wouldn't hurt him, but he couldn't risk it. The only thing that pleased the mage was that the titan did not use magical power.
But there was one thing that frightened Gildarts the most, and that was age. If he could fight a mage of his level without magic at such a young age, what would happen when he grew up. Wouldn't he create a monster that even he would be unstoppable?
But he quickly put those silly thoughts out of his mind when he saw the demon stop abruptly and grab his head. His scream was so intense that Gildarts had to plug his ears. This went on for about a minute before the scream turned into a wheeze. The Titan fell to his knees and in the next moment, the demon's appearance began to disintegrate returning Eros' usual appearance.
With a grunt, Gildarts walked over to Eros' body and froze. After all, there wasn't a scratch on that one. Still, he had given the titan a good whack more than once to at least knock him out, but his skin was too tough. The hardest blows had left only minor abrasions.- Ah, you little arsehole," the mage hissed and laughed the next moment, "Fuck you, okay, let's get out of here," throwing the boy's body on his shoulder, he walked up to one of the walls and began to slowly make his way out....
