Chapter 18: Titanic Beast.*
In the grand meeting hall, my mother, Frenia, and the esteemed King Arthur gathered to discuss the intricate situation concerning the beasts and people in the northern lands. Alidia, with a curious glint in her eye, posed a question to the attentive crowd.
-Alidia: How many among us are aware of the villages and cities to the east? They are our vital allies, providing us with resources to combat the nest and ultimately triumph over the beasts in New York. Our efforts have not been in vain, for we have poured resources into the creation of a magnificent city known as the Star City of Juda, complete with a bustling pier. In addition, three thriving towns house over 3000 residents each, while scattered settlements within the fertile zone serve as essential outposts for our cause.
Frenia, a voice of reason and experience, addressed the assembly with gravitas.
-Frenia: Our commitment to safeguarding these territories spans decades, with scouts tirelessly monitoring the region and maintaining vital radio communication with the Star City and its accompanying towns. The reports received suggest that the beasts rarely venture northeast, and the Star City acts as a shield, deterring attacks from the nests. Yearly, our forces successfully eliminate hundreds of ferocious beasts, a testament to our determination and valor. Who could have imagined that a meager outpost of 800 hunters would blossom into a thriving metropolis of 20,000 inhabitants?
Alidia, reminiscing on her brief visit to the bustling Star City.
-Alidia: Although different from the capital, the Star City pulses with life and energy, a beacon of hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
-Arthur: Six months have passed since the titanic beast met its demise; this time, a colossal dragon-like creature with a legion of three thousand minions. Luckily, this creature was smaller in comparison to the behemoth type. Frenia skillfully brought it down from the sky, and dispatching it with the cannons was a much simpler task.
-Frenia: Luy, isn't your sister just incredible?
-Luyira: She is not only a remarkable hero, but also the esteemed commander of the wall. Truly an awe-inspiring aunt!
-Frenia: Ah, you are doing on purpose now, are we? You've earned yourself a bear hug later!
-Alidia: It seems we won't be facing another threat for at least half a year; historically, it takes about a year for one to emerge, with the longest interval being eight years.
Arthur rises from his seat and unfurls a map on the wall. Using a pointer, he gestures towards different regions to elucidate.
-Arthur: Take a look at the map, please. Here we have the wall, spanning between Mexico and the former states. The titanic beasts have always targeted this region from the Northwest, near the Alamo desert. That's why our focus lies here, with a majority of the cannons strategically positioned in this area where the number of hunters is tenfold greater than the rest of the wall. The Amazoness, loyal companions of Frenia, consistently provide support.
-Luyira: Why are there men in the group?
-Frenia: Oh, they're just adorable! Originally, they were incorporated when the group was comprised solely of women, and the name stuck. I can't recall when it was established, but they persist in following my lead to hunt down our enemies. At times, it can be quite a challenge to keep them safe.
-Arthur: The primary issue at hand is that these nests are located in the northeast, rather than the northwest. We have yet to locate the precise area where the titanic beasts appear; they have never been sighted in the northeast. We suspect they may be targeting the capital for destruction. Initially, we attributed this to the high population density, but given that the second largest city is situated in that region, we suspect there may be another motive, as they ignore on the settlements and towns in the northeast.
-Alidia: The beasts pose a significant threat, and locating and eliminating their nests is of utmost importance. By conquering the north and exploring its ruins, we may gain insight into the origins of these titanic creatures.
- Luyira: So, they originate from the north?
-Frenia: I once tracked their trail after a confrontation with them. It led me to the north-western edge, known as the Pass of Bering; they are not native to this region. Arthur: Despite their appearance here centuries ago, we remain uncertain how they arrived. Traveling to their presumed origin is currently unfeasible, as our explorations have only extended as far as Spain on that continent. Some believe their nest may be located in Europe or the Middle East, or even as far as China.
-Luyira: Our focus should be on devising strategies to eliminate them and protect the wall, rather than dwelling on the reasons behind their presence.
-Alidia: Indeed, locating and eradicating the nests is crucial. We are initiating our efforts by targeting the largest one in New York.
-Arthur: With four demigods by our side and the most powerful human army assembled to date, I am confident that we can emerge victorious this time. Moving forward, we have identified three towns for our strategic use. One town is situated near the coast with a small pier, which we plan to utilize as our initial point of arrival. The other two towns are located to the north of Judah, near the boundaries where we suspect the presence of nests. Reports suggest that the creatures are confined to this region and attacks are infrequent. Therefore, our primary challenge will be locating the smaller nests before confronting the main nest in New York, where we estimate a population of at least one million creatures.
-Aido: One million? If they all turn against us, it would be insurmountable.
-Frenia: The creatures are territorial, and they have never strayed from their territory. It appears as though they are protecting it. The individuals that venture out and attack usually originate from other nests located southwards, with minimal activity towards the west. Here is their typical route.
-Alidia: Has their behavior not evolved?
-Frenia: Not significantly.
-Aido: So, they follow a predetermined path?
-Luyira: I had the same thought.
-Arthur: What do you mean?
-Aido: As a young adult who enjoys gaming, I pondered the concept and inquired about how one could create such a path. It also draws parallels to how androids adhere to a set production line without deviation. It is akin to how ants follow a trail already marked for them. From what we have observed, the creatures roam until they find prey, a pattern we witnessed in the fertile zones. However, if they are consistently following a predictable path, there must be something or someone guiding them along it.
Arthur stood looking to the crossroads, studying the well-worn paths with a furrowed brow.
-Arthur:"Here is the path, here is Judah,"
He mused, his gaze scanning the familiar trails.
-Arthur: They have not changed the paths. It seems they possess knowledge of the capital city that surpasses their concern for our people.
He gestured towards the intersecting routes, one already blocked off by the imposing city walls.
-Arthur: We must intercept two paths.
Arthur concluded. When the rest of the people hearing it and contemplating his actions.
-Arthur: It is a clear sign that someone, or something, intelligent is guiding them.
Alidia, with a spark of insight, interjected.
-Alidia: Arthur, we have failed to consider the possibility of aerial reconnaissance. The dragon, fixated on the wall, ignored other potential targets and was specifically designed to disable our cannons.
-Arthur: Do they think like machines? Arthur pondered, his mind racing with speculation.
-Frenia: It may not be as absurd as it sounds. Ancient technologies rumored to be programmed to exterminate us or mythical king and queen monsters, as the demi-humans mythologize.
-Luyira: King and queen monsters?"
Luyira's voice betrayed her incredulity.
-Frenia: Demi-humans have only recently integrated into our society, but their folklore speaks of a monstrous queen birthing titanic beasts and a king ruling over them. What if this 'queen' is actually a dormant piece of technology, still functioning after all these years?
-Aido: So, we are facing an intellectual machine disguised as a monster queen that harbors a grudge against us? Aido's tone was grim.
-Luyira: But androids have never shown hostility towards humans.
Luyira argued. The silent presence of Destroyer was finally acknowledged.
-Arthur: You have been unusually quiet.
Arthur observed.
-Destroyer: I will reveal more information as time passes. Your inquiries and speculations intrigue me, but I am bound by my orders.
-Alidia: Why?"
-Destoyer: It is part of the trial you must face with your own resources.
The enigmatic figure answered. Arthur's thoughts raced back to their previous conversations with Destroyer.
-Arthur: Are we truly in a trial for survival?
He questioned aloud.
-Destroyer: I only know that it is a trial
Destroyer responded, shrouded in mystery. In that moment of realization, Aido felt a kinship with Destroyer, his friend and mentor. Despite being called 'master,' it was evident that their relationship was far more complex than he had initially presumed.
The sound of an alarm interrupts the reunion.
-Frenia: What is going on that is the alarm for a titanic beast.
Arthur and Alidia exchanged glances, bewildered by the alarm.
-Arthur: It is too soon for another titanic beast.
-Frenia: There has never been a pattern to the attacks; they occur randomly, and the intervals between each attack vary.
Alidia's eyes were focused on the present danger at hand. She craved information and wanted to hear it from the radio. A voice crackled through the static, "Scout team A34 reporting in. We are currently positioned at Latitud: 35°13′19″ N Longitud: 101°49′52. We estimate the distance to the behemoth to be a few hours by horseback from the wall. Speed is critical here, and only a gas vehicle could possibly outrun it. The beast is massive, with a legion of 30,000 minions in tow, a mix of all sorts of creatures, akin to a colossal bull. We've spotted a dozen bipedals - bears, golems, werewolves, lizards - among the crowd, with canines making up the majority."
-Alidia: Any flyers among them?
-Hunter from team A34: No flyers spotted. It's unlikely they could keep up with the pace of the behemoth. If any they probably soar above us but the sky is clear.
Relieved, Alidia decided.
Alidia: Seems like we won't have to worry about airborne threats. Keep a safe distance and observe, or retreat if necessary.
Acknowledging her orders, the hunter replied, "Understood."
Curious, Luyira inquired, "What's going on?"
Alidia's expression was resolute as she spoke.
-Alidia: Our enemy is becoming more cunning, adapting their tactics. Alert the soldiers, gather the hunters, and ready the cannon. This is our chance to bring down the beast.
Frenia whispered.
-Frenia: I apologize, but the king shall remain within the protective walls. Today, alongside Jessica, you children will rise as the heroes we need.
Arthur declared confidently.
-Arthur: I will take charge of the cannons, and we are well-prepared. The cannons are primed, and the wall stands ready.
Alidia beckoned to Luyira,Frenia and Aido saying, "Come, my dear ones, let us move forward."
Seeking guidance, Aido turned to the wise Destroyer.
-Aido: Please, offer me your advice. We suffered heavy losses last time when the worms breached our defenses.
-Destroyer: The beasts are nearing, so refrain from using a major spell. Opt for smaller, area-of-effect attacks. Though you command them, there is still a risk. Rally other hunters, focus on the Titanic Beast, we have more output power than normal people even more than the biggest cannon. Take heed, do not act recklessly. Each person must take responsibility for their safety. Use caution with powerful spells, as they may have lasting consequences. We must concentrate our efforts on this battleground, near the arid lands and the edge of the fertile zone.
-Luyira: Stay close to me, and we will emerge unscathed.
Alidia strategized.
-Alidia: Together with Frenia, our hunters will lead the charge. Once they pave the way, we will deploy our civilian soldiers as planned, safeguarding them from the titanic beast. They tend to target us, regardless of my abilities.
-Aido: Envelop my body in full armor. We are up against a serious threat this time, and I will need full protection.
Destroyer always draped over your body like a second skin, blending seamlessly with your clothes and accessories. Frenia: So, he never needs more clothes now. Wait, were you there that night?
-Destroyer: Of course I was there.
-Frenia: No, way, I feel like my father watch me doing that! So embarrasing!
-Luyira: But you are a horny machine! Everyone in the wall knows it, and they love it.
Frenia and Luyira, looking at each other, bursting into laughter.
-Alidia: It is time. We must go.
-Destroyer: But in response to the request, how about this form?
Transforming itself into a white and blue armor with hints of green, the design appears simple yet intricate like that of a seasoned warrior. I find myself drawn to it, as do the others.
-Alidia: That's perfect. It's striking and simple, more appealing than a golden armor as Arthur suggested.
-Aido: I'm on board with this.
The group exits the room, drawing awe-filled gazes from onlookers at Destroyer.
-Arthur: I must say, that armor looks impressive.
-Jessica: Keep an eye on the children. The plan is solid, but I still worry about them.
Jessica voiced his concern as we prepared to depart
-Destroyer: I have been always covering all your body, as a second skin, clothes and accesories.
-Frenia: So he nevers needs more clothes anymore, wait you were that night there?
-Destroyer: Of course I was there. But Responding the request, what about this shape.
Destroyer change it itself to cover me, in a white, blue armor with green colors, the design feel simple but it is as elaborated as a veteran armor, I like it, and seem the rest do.
-Alidia: That would do it, it is easy to spot, and people would like it more than a golden armor as Arthur suggest.
-Aido: Ok, I like it.
The group left the room, and all the people who see them look in awe at Destroyer.
-Arthur: I have to admit that the armor looks good.
-Jessica: Take care of the kids, the strategic is clear but still worry about them.
Arthur mention it when he was ready to see us depart.
-Alidia: As we descend in the elevator, our troops are poised for battle. What about the cannons?
-Arthur: The mighty mobile cannons are strategically positioned, ready to target the minions while our largest cannons seek out an opening in the Titanic beast. This time, we have two individuals who can get the job done. The tank hunters, a force of thirty, will lead the charge, followed by the forty bomber hunters in the center. The remaining troops are a mix of ranged fighters and close combat specialists. Lasui and Sasari will stay back, their harmonious songs reaching even the tanks, as the bombers unleash their attacks and the soldiers and hunters engage in fierce combat.
-Luyira: Once we've taken down that behemoth, perhaps we can roast it and enjoy some spicy Asada.
-Aido: I'd rather stick to a simple cow for a meal.
-Luyira: Hehehe.
At the end of our elevator ride, Sakura and the team await us. It's a breathtaking sight, but I must remember that each of their lives depends on us.
-Sakura: Your optimism is infectious, Luy. We have a formidable team to face the beasts, but it seems retrieving the Titanic beast's nutrients will be a near-impossible task this time, with the minions bigger than any we have encountered before.
-Carlos: It comes as no surprise, but with our army of 30,000, we are well-equipped to take on these monstrous foes. I see only a cloud of dust approaching, along with that colossal cow. It won't be long now.
-Destroyer: Strange, can someone lend me a spyglass?
-Carlos: Here you are.
-Lasui: What do you see, Destroyer?
-Destroyer: I sense you've noticed it, too, Sir.
-Aido: That beast is staring directly at me, unwavering with its gaze.
-Luyira: Unbelievable! It's so far away. Share that spyglass, Sakura.
-Sakura: Apologies, dear, but I don't use one.
-Sasari: Here. I have this.
Sasari presented a more advanced binoculars Luyira.
In awe, Luyira gazed through the binoculars, marveling at the vast distance. Suddenly, a colossal creature shifted its gaze towards her.
-Luyira: Wow, wow, wow, did you see that?
-Sasari: These binoculars are technological marvels, allowing us to see even further.
-Alidia: This time, we have the upper hand as there are no flying minions.
Luyira grew anxious.
-Luyira: No, no, no, that beast is fixated on me, and it was targeting Aido earlier. It's as if it knows our exact location.
-Aido: You're right, now it seems to be aware of our mother and Frenia's presence too.
Frenia as the veteran of the group facing titanic beasts, step forward and say,
-Frenia: They are not aware of us, they can feel us, and I think, they are scared of us. This is not a new phenomenon. They typically target the strongest opponent, almost as if they can sense our energy.
Concerned, Alidia turned to Destroyer for advice.
-Alidia: What do you suggest, Destroyer?
-Destroyer: I am troubled by this creature; it's unlike any I've encountered before.
Reflecting on the complexities of these beings, Luyira mused.
-Luyira: Some of them are oddly cute. Wolves can be terrifying, but some are like oversized dogs. I often wonder about their origins.
Destroyer elucidated.
-Destroyer: There are multiple ways they come into existence, but their decomposing process hints at the presence of an incubator. This is what Alidia mistook for eggs.
-Luyira: So, they cannot be tamed, correct?
-Destroyer: Probably not. Their behavior indicates a lack of connection to life. They are similar to soulless machines. It would need a external system to force them to obey.
-Luyira: Machines? Like androids or more like the mechanical artillery fixed to the walls?
-Destroyer: More like the latter.
-Luyira: So, like NPC from a game.
Luyira start to question what is a living being and what gives the delusion of a living being. Amidst the chaos of the battlefield, the hunters stationed above the walls are poised for action. Some stand atop mobile vehicles, while others resemble robotic bipedal cannons. Amidst the variety of weaponry, ammunition is constantly being produced, a vital necessity for every hunter's trade.
-Hunters: Weapons at the ready. As the hunters prepare their cannons, tanks are positioned and poised, awaiting the signal to commence.
-Arthur: Hold your fire; we must wait for the Hunters bombers act before we strike.
-Jessica: That beast would make a fine steak, don't you think?
-Arthur: Indeed, a steak would be a treat, but the creature is too massive. It seem the Retter Messiah sheer presence seems to affect our thoughts.
-Jessica: The mentality of an immortal being, perhaps?
-Arthur: Even immortals experience pain.
Envision Francisco and his fellow tanks, clad in imposing armor and enhanced with exoskeletons that grant them agile grace. Crafted from a formidable blend of Vitrilium, Titanium, and Steel, they propel themselves forward with a potent liquid akin to gasoline, yet far more enduring and powerful. Even an S-rank hunter would struggle to move in such armor, but with the aid of exoskeletons, their mobility is relatively improved. Though lacking agility, they possess resilience and can withstand attacks that might prove fatal to even an S-rank hunter reinforcing their armors with their abilities.
Francisco marveled at the rapid changes taking place around him. He couldn't believe that just a week ago, the powerful armor he now wore had not even existed. Harnessing their newfound abilities, the androids in the industrial district had toiled tirelessly day and night to adapt the powerlifter exoskeletons into this state-of-the-art power armor. Constructed with steel parts and coated with Vitrilium to enhance durability, the armor could withstand significant damage and impacts. Its operational time ranged from a mere 4 hours to a staggering 12 hours, depending on the intensity of their movements. Despite its impressive capabilities, Francisco couldn't help but feel like he was encased in a tin can. Lasui remarked on the weight of the responsibility that came with being a human tank captain, emphasizing that it was a burden heavier than it appeared. Sasari, while apologetic for being relegated to the rear, offered solace in the form of their support and accompanying songs. Despite facing opposition from Lizzie, who detested the very idea of human tanks, Francisco knew that it was a necessary endeavor. With their army standing strong beside them, the mission ahead was not just another drill - it was the real deal. Dispensing final instructions to his team, Francisco urged his troops to disperse as planned. Acknowledging their captain's leadership skills, Lasui reassured Francisco with confidence in their eventual victory. An enthusiastic fanboy at heart, Francisco expressed his excitement at witnessing the battle unfold, especially with the presence of the esteemed savior and the goddesses of battle leading the charge. As the tanks lined up and prepared to depart, the anticipation and determination among the team were palpable. The time for action had arrived, and they were all ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
-Sakura: Gather around, my comrades, for we are the bombers! We are the tempest of chaos, the first wave of attack as the battle commences. I urge you all to give your everything, for even if you falter, you will be swiftly rescued. The more damage we inflict upon these beasts, the safer it will be for us and our allies. Do you comprehend?
-Everyone: Yes!
The bomber hunters stand as some of the most formidable, alongside Rangers and Close combat specialists.
-Sakura: Excellent, you are the cream of the crop. Remember your positions; the army will trail behind us, following the tanks. Show me your utmost prowess, for we are the forefront of the assault. Observing Carlos lagging behind Francisco, Sakura worries - a close combat fighter should be at the forefront. Nevertheless, it may be for the best if Carlos remains in step with Francisco.
-Francisco: Let us move forward. I must oversee the rest of our hunters.
-Carlos: I shall accompany you. Our friends are already at the front. By the way, do you prefer the standard heavy armor or this alternative?
-Francisco: The standard one; this variant relies on fuel and batteries, rendering me immobile if supplies are depleted. I am accustomed to my usual armor.
-Carlos: My lightweight armor allows for swift movement, but your role is paramount. We shall decimate our foes with your distraction.
-Francisco: Just be sure to steer clear when I employ my taunt skill; its effects last approximately 30 seconds.
Carlos marveled at the open-mindedness of the seasoned hunters as they welcomed the emerging powers of the younger generation, abilities they themselves had never fully harnessed. Only a select few of Rank A and S hunters could unleash magical attacks, while others relied on reinforcement to dispatch their enemies. If only there was more time to unlock the untapped potential hidden within them. Francisco reassured his friend, "Turn back, my companion. We have held off these monsters for centuries, and today will be no different.
Within the formation of Rangers and Close combat specialists, now stand Marceline and Javier as captains, alongside the Academy's instructors.
-Javier: The day stretches ahead of us.
-Marceline: We are the front line of defense, providing cover for the tanks before focusing on the minions of the Titanic beast. The Amazoness group leads the charge, their recklessness must be controlled to prevent them from being targeted by the minions. While the tanks draw the brunt of aggression, a slip-up could spell disaster if an Amazoness is caught in the fray.
-Javier: I am concerned about the Titanic beast; how will we defeat it if our tanks fall to the minions?
-Marceline: This is your first encounter with Frenia and Alidia, correct?
-Javier: Indeed, facing a titanic beast for the first time alongside most of us the new generation of hunters here.
-Marceline: Frenia's losses diminished when Alidia joined the ranks, revolutionizing their strategy. Alidia possesses the ability to finish a beast, a feat Frenia could not accomplish. I am thrilled for what lies ahead.
-Javier: I see it now, a daunting task indeed.
-Marceline: It is imperative to eradicate every single worm lurking beneath the surface. Unpredictable and cunning, they could emerge anywhere. Unleash destruction upon the earth, and watch as the worms slither out of hiding, ready to be vanquished.
-Javier: Your orders are crystal clear, Madam. Could it be that the Demi-humans are laying on the earth for this reason?
-Marceline: Demi-humans have a special sensitivity to these creatures. However, we should pay particular attention to the reptilian beings among them, as they are experienced experts in handling such threats. They are skilled in detecting tremors in the ground and vibrations in the air. It's unfortunate that we only have a dozen of them."
-Javier: I comprehend your instructions.
As the menacing beast looms closer in the distance, the hunters stand in solemn admiration of the impending challenge. Like a relentless wave, it threatens to consume them, yet their resolve remains unshaken. Duty calls, and they are unwavering in their commitment to safeguard the future. Leading the charge are Aido, Luyira, Frenia, and Alidia, poised at the forefront. Following closely behind are Sakura, Sasari, and Lasui. The Vanguard hunters, a formidable assembly of elite ranks, are strategically positioned. The weaker members, relegated to the rear, brace themselves for the onslaught of the beast's minions.
Alidia stood, her eyes shining with determination as she proposed a daring plan.
-Alidia: This may appear daring, but I believe this bold strategy is our most viable course of action. We will charge into the heart of the chaos, just as we did during the fierce assault on the capital city.
Frenia, her fists clenched in anticipation, eagerly prepared for the impending action.
-Frenia: Basically, I engage in such acts regularly. My fists could hold a conversation with a cow.
Luyira interjected with an idea, urging Aido to follow her lead.
-Aido:Remember, no massive explosions this time.
Aido cautioned. Luyira, with a mischievous laugh, suggested a more strategic approach.
-Luyira: When cooking a cow, you must slice it first!
Aido, understanding the plan, raised a concern about the minions. Luyira, expecting his partnership, reminded him,
-Luyira: We must eliminate them with precision and speed.
As the group leaped into battle, Alidia urged Frenia to keep up. Frenia, already airborne and in the midst of the action, reassured her.
-Frenia: I'm ahead of you!
With an unwavering determination, the quartet of semi gods surged forward towards the monstrous creatures, marking the start of a legendary confrontation. Sakura, a force of nature unto herself, unleashed explosive blasts with the intention of scattered the minions and paved the way to confront the colossal beast. The other bombers followed suit, their attacks raining down like enchanting Magic Missiles with varying effects.
Aido, dumbfounded by the surreal situation, and Luyira, poised for action, synchronized their assault. However, the beast locked its predatory gaze on Alidia, swiftly changing course to intercept her in midair. As Alidia braced herself against the beast's ferocious onslaught, the impact echoed through the air like thunder, hurling her towards the looming wall. The cacophony of magical assaults from the bombers reverberated around the beast, engulfing numerous minions in a fiery spectacle as they trampled over fallen comrades to close in on their target.
Frenia, gracefully touching down on the ground, observed the minions instinctively parting ways to evade the bombers' attacks, seizing the opportunity with her agile finesse to evade the beast's crushing steps and deliver a swift retaliatory blow. In that moment, the beast turn it gaze to her, shifting it attention from Alidia to Frenia. As Luyira and Aido touched down beside her, they leaped skyward as one, prepared to face their formidable adversary head-on. In the midst of the chaos, Alidia couldn't help but ponder her unfortunate luck at being the sole target during their aerial skirmish, yearning for the ability to leave a trace to divert her trajectory away from the epicenter of battle.
In the heart of the beast-infested zone, Luyira and Aido floated effortlessly in the air, poised above the massive creature, as Frenia confront it, dodging it blows and throwing punches of her own. With synchronized movements and silent determination, they prepared to execute their plan without hesitation. "Luyira, are you ready?" Aido's voice was a whisper in the chaotic surroundings. "Just watch," Luyira replied with a mischievous glint in her eye. As their backs touched, a sudden burst of energy crackled between them. In a matter of moments, Luyira conjured a shimmering icicle in the sky, catching the attention of the beast below. Frenia leaped towards the creature, aiming to restrain it, but found herself ensnared by its writhing mass instead. "Give me a push!" Luyira called out, her voice filled with excitement. "Consider it done," Aido responded with a smirk. Harnessing the power of wind and fire, Aido unleashed a blazing explosion that raged like a fiery tempest. The icicle plummeted towards the beast like a speeding missile, forcing it to dodge and evade, inadvertently causing chaos among its own ranks.
As the dust settled, Frenia staggered amidst the aftermath, her head spinning from the intensity of the encounter. "Luyira, catch me!" she cried out, her voice tinged with urgency. "Here, we come," Aido replied, as he and Luyira swooped down . With swift reflexes, Frenia reached out and caught her comrades in a protective embrace, shielding them from the looming threat of the beast's retaliation. Unperturbed, the creature let out a deafening roar, signaling its minions to unleash a relentless assault on the wall and the assembled army. Alidia , a formidable warrior in her own right, who has landed close her initial location before confronting the beast swiftly took charge, issuing orders with steely resolve. As she leaped into action, her figure blurred with speed and agility, resembling a missile streaking through the battlefield. The titanic beast, sensing the strength of its adversaries, shifted its tactics, unleashing a barrage of debris in a desperate attempt to crush Luyira, Frenia, and Aido. Amidst the chaos and destruction, a fierce battle raged on, with each moment filled with uncertainty and danger.
-Alidia: Live and learn, I suppose!
Alidia's eyes zeroed in on the looming figure ahead, a silent warning to brace for impact. Tanks rumbled onto the scene as Bombers and Cannons opened fire, their thunderous shots echoing through the tense air. There was no longer a need to hesitate - it was time to make a decisive move. "Let us handle the cow," Alidia declared, a glint of determination in her eyes.
Upon giving her command, Alidia renews her efforts in the battle, running with great strength. She moves swiftly, resembling a missile as she kicks up dust on the land. Meanwhile, the Titanic beast in the area is not ignorant of its powerful opponent. It decides to change tactics by using its head to launch debris towards Luyira, Frenia, and Aido.
-Luyira: Time for some bunny magic!
With lightning speed, Luyira deftly navigated through the debris, propelling herself forward. This time, the ice spike she conjured was smaller, but the elusive beasts managed to dodge it once again.
-Luyira: Seriously? How dare you evade me! Now, where shall I make my landing?
Destroyer pondered, acknowledging Luyira's clever strategy. However, the agile beasts seemed to anticipate the danger, requiring a new approach to ensure they didn't evade her attacks. Frenia chimed in, describing the massive, rubbery body of the beasts, estimating it would take at least 30 seconds for Luyira to return after touching ground. Aido creates debris and earth spikes on it own, smaller and too many to dodge them all but the beast does not care for them, they are too small to actually hurt it, Frenia herself tried hitting the legs, but as she dodge before, now is the bull that dodge her, even more faster than before.
-Destroyer: I must admit, this is not what I anticipated.
-Frenia: I'm not sure about you, but I feel as if I've been fighting this beast for years.
As the ferocious beasts closed in on the fortress walls, the cannons roared with unrelenting fury, sending the creatures scurrying in terror towards their intended targets. Sakura, sensing the exhaustion of her Bombers, signaled a strategic retreat, entrusting the battlefield to the capable hands of the army following their triumphant efforts. In the midst of the chaos, Francisco seized the moment to lead the charge, rallying his fellow tanks for a valiant defense. With a display of taunting prowess, they drew the attention of the ravenous horde, standing as a formidable barrier against the relentless onslaught. "Let's make these fiends rue the day they crossed us!" shouted Francisco, as Marceline urged the troops to focus on the rear of the beasts for close combat engagement. Javier's commanding voice echoed through the chaos, reminding everyone not to let a single beast breach their line.
As the rest of the hunters closed in for combat, they watched in awe as the titanic beast skillfully dodged their attacks with ease. It seemed to have an uncanny ability to predict and evade the most powerful cannon strikes, leaving the explosions erupting harmlessly in the distance. These cannons were their last resort for taking down the colossal creatures, but they could not effectively target the beasts from up close. Meanwhile, the tanks valiantly held their ground despite sustaining considerable damage. Their sturdy armor proved resilient against the relentless assault. However, a sudden attack from the left flank of a lizard man sent one tank soaring through the air like a rocket. The human tank, miraculously alive, was soon engulfed and buried beneath a mass of hundreds of beasts, becoming a turtle like situation.
Arthur and Jessica were stunned as they watched in disbelief, their main cannons failing to lock onto the elusive target. They felt a sense of powerlessness as they beheld a behemoth as massive as a wall yet as agile as a fly, effortlessly dodging each of their attacks. Arthur exclaimed in frustration, "It's ridiculous! I can't fathom how difficult it is to land a hit on that thing." Jessica, equally disheartened, remarked, "And this is our final line of defense, our most formidable weapons..." Determined to turn the tide, Arthur proposed a daring strategy, "We must place our faith in the four. Let the Cannoners and Gunners concentrate their fire on the horde and the second-rank beasts. As for the Titanic beasts cannons, hold fire and stand by. This may just be our best shot at victory.
Thirty seconds later, Luyira swiftly rejoined the group as Alidia arrived, adding her strength to Aido and Frenia's assault on the colossal bull that sent tremors through the earth with each mighty leap. The beast resembled a frenzied bull, evading attacks with agile jumps and thunderous stomps. In that brief moment, the horde stirred from its taunt-induced slumber, signaling the commencement of the true battle. "Javier, what happened to the tank?" Sakura inquired.
-Javier: The rank 2 lizard man beast launched it into the air with a powerful blow, but it landed near the close combat team and another tank. They're managing somehow, encircling the beasts to activate their taunt ability, but it will take a few minutes. We must focus on the bipedals first, then wait for their cue and stay within reach of their support.
-Sakura: Managing? I can't bear to watch as that monster looms over him, surrounded by a swarm of ferocious beasts.
Sakura fretted.
-Javier:Don't fret, he's holding his ground. Reinforcing his armor with his abilities, his signals remain steady. Admittedly, anyone would feel the stress in such a dire situation.
Marceline, positioned beside Sakura and Javier, issues her directives. The Siblings follow closely behind, singing as if in a trance. Their songs, although potent, no longer carry the joyful timbre they once did. This shift in atmosphere is palpable to all present. Marceline instructs: "All hunters, I instruct you to concentrate on the bipedals and hinder their attacks on the civilian soldiers.
Carlos and 20 other hunters with expertise in speed should keep the bipedals occupied, avoiding being overwhelmed by their lower minions who are being handled by the soldiers.
-Arthur: The situation is progressing favorably. The rear is suffering heavy losses, the cannons are effective, but the beasts are highly mobile, making it difficult to land significant hits. Concentrate on targeting the rear of the beasts, as we were only expending ammunition on the Titanic beast.
The confrontation with the mighty beast can be likened to a scenario where a cow possesses the renowned agility of a spider, effortlessly dodging even the most powerful attacks. As the hunters grow weary and begin to rely on their secondary and tertiary skills to sustain the battle, it becomes evident that a change in strategy is imperative.
-Aido: Our current approach is proving ineffective; we must devise a more effective plan.
-Luyira: I believe I have come up with a solution.
-Frenia: Is it a feasible one?
-Alidia: The beast's imposing size and speed require us to find a way to immobilize it; it seems Luyira may hold the key to our success.
-Luyira: Might it be possible to immobilize the creature midair? If we can devise a method to launch it upward, perhaps akin to how one might handle worms.
-Destroyer: With its 4 legs and armored exterior, we find ourselves akin to four ants attempting to best a cow.
-Luyira: What if we were to grasp its tail and utilize the technique passed down from my mother's training?
-Frenia: Your idea sounds promising; I grasp your strategy.
Alidia employs her taunting ability, momentarily drawing the attention of the creatures engaged with the vanguard of soldiers and hunters, providing them with an opportunity to regroup. However, as the titanic beast charges toward her, Alidia braces herself and absorbs the impact, causing the ground to shatter as she is forcefully propelled several meters away. Subsequently, Frenia makes an attempt to grab the tail of the beast, but the ground continues to crack under the immense force. Although she manages to seize the tip of the tail, her concern arises as she struggles to maintain her grasp and fears the tail may tear apart before she can hoist it into the air.
-Frenia: This beast is truly formidable!
-Alidia: We require assistance, my dear companions!
On the other side of the battlefield, amidst the chaos and commotion, the hunters from the vanguard seized the opportunity to strike the distracted beasts. Many focused on the towering bipedals, while Sakura, fueled by a renewed vigor, unleashed explosive power above their heads, causing several of them to stumble and fall. As Sasari and Lasui harmonized their haunting melodies, taking brief pauses between their haunting performance to weave their magic into the melee. Javier's voice cut through the clamor, urging those unable to fight on to retreat, tend to wounds, or regroup. This crucial moment, coupled with Alidia's strategic taunts and the precise coordination of the tanks, resulted in zero casualties on the human side, with only a few civilians and tanks sustaining minor damage. One of the demi-human reptiles, impatient and restless, yearned to join the fray. But Nerisse counseled discipline, reminding him of the importance of obedience and vigilance in the face of temptation and glory. The ground rumbled as a mountain on the horizon shifted, drawing their attention towards a spectacle unfolding in the distance - a cow spinning and creating a tornado before soaring into the sky. Jessica's voice rang out, relaying Alidia's signal - the cow was immobilized in the air. With a clear directive, she rallied the troops to focus their efforts on different targets, calling for a concentrated assault on the rank 2 beast, the bipedals, and the titanic monster. The warriors and hunters braced themselves for the final push, determined to vanquish their foes. "Let's finish this!" exclaimed Francisco, rallying his comrades as they prepared to drive the bipedals back. Carlos barked orders, signaling the hunters to ready themselves for the onslaught. The battlefield vibrated with anticipation as they readied themselves to unleash everything they had, knowing that victory was within their grasp
At the zone of the titanic beast, before what the others saw. Continue where the beast charged to Alidia.
-Luyira: I think this is actually our chance, let's...
When the monster sensed the intention of an attack, its head turned slightly and its gaze shifted towards Luyira. Destroyer then mentioned.
-Destroyer: We only need to lift the cow off the ground, your skill that was used to help Luyira gain speed could be useful here. Even if we only lift it 5 meters in the air, Frenia can send it flying. The beast seems to sense when an attack could endanger it, but that skill should not cause the same reaction.
-Luyira: Roger! Let's do that, Aido.
-Aido:It is a plan.
Running to the front of the beast where Alidia was holding on with all her strength, trying to reinforce the ground under her, Luyira and Aido positioned themselves behind Alidia. Both tried to mask their true intentions so the beast would continue focusing on their mother. They then used their skills to create a small explosion and force that lifted the beast's legs off the ground. Frenia felt the shift in the circumstance and, with her strength, pulled the tail and the bull when it tried to spin.
The large beast smashed rocks and formations, so Frenia had to reinforce the ground she was using, as did Alidia to prevent it from breaking. Destroyer ordered, "Cut the legs now!" Aido questioned, "In that whirlpool?" Luyira declared, "Roger, consider it done!" Alidia urged, "Focus on injuring it, even if the leg is not cut! Here I go!" Alidia jumped and used her lance to pierce the front right leg, Luyira focused on the rear left leg, and Aido attempted to make a cut in the middle legs. All three attacks connected with the flesh, but it was so resistant that only a deep wound resulted. The bull rolled in the air. Luyira created another icicle with her hands, Aido formed a lava lance, and Frenia caught Alidia and sent her towards the beast. The attacks landed in succession as the icicle entered the belly of the beast, the lava lance pierced its side, and Alidia pushed the lava lance deeper with her impact using her 2 legs.
-Luyira: Please catch her! The three individuals attempt to catch Alidia as she falls alongside the beast. Alidia, recognizing the person who is meant to catch her, adjusts her body to land in their arms.
-Alidia: Nicely done, executing a princess carry. Aido: That creature fell quite close. How is our army faring?
-Alidia: Surprisingly well. The strength enhancement provided by the siblings is proving to be a game changer. The beasts are being repelled and defeated. The only issue I observed was with the area of effect bombers; they seemed to tire quickly and their damage output was somewhat lacking.
-Destroyer: The bull is regenerating.
-Aido: What?
-Frenia: You truly frightened me. That creature is still down and bleeding.
-Destroyer: It was a wise decision to use a lava spike. Although still hot enough, the wounds we inflicted on its legs are healing, and it is attempting to stand.
-Luyira: Then we must bring it down for good.
A strange sound begins to be heard.
-Luyira: It appears to be a ticking clock sound. Is that coming from the beast?
-Destroyer: Yes, indeed. Its body temperature is increasing. Everyone, seize it again from the tail and head towards the arid zone. It is on the verge of exploding.
-Aido: Can it really explode like in the movies? How is that possible?
They all work together to move the beast away, Frenia takes the lava spike, Alidia holds onto the tail, and Luyira and Aido push from the horns, stirring up a cloud of dust.
-Frenia: These creatures have never exploded before.
The sound of ticking is growing louder, indicating an imminent explosion.
-Destroyer: It is actually the sound produced by internal changes in the creature's body. It is not a ticking bomb, but rather a release of built-up energy, comparable to boiling water reaching its boiling point.
-Aido: Deliberate, every move we make.
-Destroyer: Indeed, I initially believed it was regenerating, but it was actually transforming into a bomb aimed at us. If it were to explode... This beast weights too much.
-Luyira: The devastation near the army would have been immeasurable. Luckily, we opted to confront it without the support of the army and the hunters.
-Frenia: Those conniving fiends! They must have known we would use the cannons to defeat it. The blast radius could extend for kilometers, mirroring the reach of our cannons.
-Alidia: How close are we?
-Destroyer: Merely 10 kilometers away from the wall. If this is alike to a 100 kiloton bomb, it won't be sufficient.
-Frenia: Luy, Aido, fashion me a colossal ice bowl, as resilient as you can. I'm going to hurl this abomination into the heart of the desolate lands.
-Luyira/Aido: Understood.
In a matter of moments, Luyira and Aido crafted a massive bowl, larger than the monstrous bull, now 1.5 times its original size, encapsulating it. With the assistance of the others, Frenia hoisted the bowl, her muscles straining, and flung the beast's body into the air. It erupted moments later, triggering an earthquake. The ice melted, and Frenia was momentarily rendered unconscious.
Destroyer's voice rang out, a warning piercing through the chaos.
-Destroyer: "Be ready! They are falling."
Luyira gasped in astonishment.
-Luyira: That thing was a mother? Look at those smaller versions of it!
Aido shook his head in disbelief.
-Aido: Oh come on, at least a dozen of them!
Frenia's eyes widened as she observed the descending creatures.
-Frenia: Is this a new breed of beasts? They are dropping like meteors, those little rascals.
Destroyer's gaze hardened.
-Destroyer: How did they survive that explosion? Be careful, they may be even tougher than before.
Frenia counted the creatures.
-Frenia: There are just a few dozen left. How much time has passed?
Alidia brushed off the concern.
-Alidia: No problem. If they are just born, my skills should affect them.
Luyira nodded confidently.
-Luyira: If they are smaller, we can handle them. I want one to be my pet!
-Aido: If they growth like the mother I doubt it would be a good pet, If only I had a sword of flames like in the Rol game...
Destroyer's eyes gleamed with a sudden idea.
-Destroyer: That's not a bad idea. We've been using ice for its ease of shaping and sharpness. But what if we combined earth and fire to craft a flaming sword? It was pretty effective against the larger one.
Luyira agreed without hesitation.
-Luyira: Let's do it. We have enough energy to spare, I believe.
Aido and Luyira wield swords that resemble molten lava, their hands shaping the fiery blades like skilled blacksmiths crafting metal.
-Destroyer: The sword's structure is delicate, just like ice. We'll have to keep creating it to maintain its form.
-Frenia: So, my role is similar to Dia's. I need to keep the enemies within range of your attacks. I must learn your techniques, but I struggle with such finesse. That's why Mary calls me a muscle head, haha.
-Alidia: I may not know the tricks, but this method works just fine.
-Destroyer: The range is limited to only 2 meters.
The new beasts just landed some moments ago still confused and raising from the ground, the are smaller just as a big bull, Alidia use a taunt skill to draw the attention of the twenty one beasts. They sprint towards her with intensity, their gazes fixed on their target. Aido and Luyira attempt to strike the beasts with their flaming swords, but the agile creatures evade their blows and persist in their pursuit of Alidia, who is being pushed around like a pinball, leaving marks in the ground. Meanwhile, Frenia tries to fend off the beasts with her hands, but their slippery nature makes it difficult. She resorts to kicking them away, with those too far returning to charge once more. The flaming swords prove effective in keeping the beasts at bay, but they need to land a decisive blow. The slippery creatures prove to be a formidable challenge.
-Destroyer: It appears that the newborns have adapted to our attacks.
-Frenia: Indeed, I have noticed that my strikes are not as effective as before. Their bones seem to be more flexible and they still possess a keen sense of danger, much like the larger beast. Even when Dia tries to provoke them, they are able to evade.
-Aido: However, the larger beast did not evade our attacks earlier while charging towards our mother. Let's attempt to do the same strategy.
Aido utilizes his skill, causing the flames of his sword to intensify, and charges towards a beast charging at Alidia. He slashes the beast in the shoulder and stabs its side, but the blood splatters like water, indicating the beast's resilience. It continues its advance towards Alidia. Despite being hit repeatedly, it remains steadfast, resembling a rock that occasionally gets thrown into the air and needs to regain its balance.
-Destroyer: The newborn creatures are more agile than the larger entity, posing a challenge in eliminating them.
-Alidia: The taunting effect will only last for a brief period. Their subsequent actions are unpredictable.
-Aido: In that case, I shall create a large ball of lava and hurl it into their midst.
-Frenia: That sounds like a viable strategy.
-Destroyer: Their alertness to your actions suggests that the plan might not succeed. However, they are currently focused on us. Luyira, help Aido in erecting a barrier and maintaining its heat.
-Luyira: I know!
Luyira places her hands on the ground, causing it to melt and form a circle of lava that continues to rise.
-Alidia: Children, please remember that I can sense pain. Your mother is frightened!
The creatures halt their pursuit of Alidia, scrambling to evade the creeping menace of molten lava. One of them darts frantically, but is doomed to a fiery demise as the molten flow overtakes it. The rest of the beasts, now more wary, seek to break free from the encroaching danger before it engulfs them all. Yet, fate has a different plan as Aido and Luyira, in a synchronized dance, trap the creatures in a fiery ring with Alidia at its center. The beasts thrash and struggle, their desperate efforts futile as they succumb to the scorching inferno, their once mighty forms swiftly fading beneath the surface, leaving only a few struggling to stay afloat amidst the searing heat.
Frenia spoke of the inner conflict stirring within her, torn between a sense of goodness and the need to eliminate the newly born monsters.
-Frenia: I feel compassion for them, despite their monstrous nature. But alas, they must be exterminated.
Luyira's voice trembled as she recounted the moment her strength failed her, watching helplessly as the creatures toyed with the lava.
-Luyira:My power wavered
She murmured, a hint of vulnerability in her tone. Alidia's outburst echoed through the group, scolding her offspring for their careless manipulation of the fiery lake.
-Alidia:Oh, you children! she scolded. "Cool this lake of lava now! You left me with only 20 centimeters to stand on. What if they had pushed me into the lava"
Aido hung his head in guilt, promising to remedy the situation and cool the lava as his mother demanded. Luyira shared her struggle, unable to bring herself to directly harm the monsters.
-Luyira: "It's a complex challenge"
She admitted, a flicker of frustration in her eyes. Frenia reflected on the paradox of their powerful abilities in a mission of peace.
-Frenia: We were created for harmony, yet possess strength beyond measure.
She mused, a hint of regret in her demeanor. Despite her feelings of inadequacy, she sought to support her comrades. As they regrouped for battle, Alidia's swift reprimand caught Luyira off guard, but she took it in stride.
-Alidia: Destroyer, most likely mean to encircled the beasts with a fiery wall, no, a lake of molten heat! It worked even better than we could have imagined.
-Luyira: Oh mother, you are truly invincible! I always knew you would be okay.
-Alidia: Next time, be cautious. I managed to escape, but others may not have been so lucky. I had to ensure they were truly defeated by my actions. I feared they would escape the flames. The engulfing heat still sends shivers down my spine. If you need me to face it again, just give me a heads up.
-Destroyer: It seem some of the new borns are still alive, the three in the surface still moving, even barely...
-Frenia: We cannot abandon them to their fate. We must act before it's too late.
-Destroyer: Indeed, the empire is seeking ways to harness the power of the beasts' blood for medical advancements. Personally, I am intrigued by the idea of studying their anatomies. Let's face it, without our presence and unique abilities, Frenia and Alidia wouldn't stand a chance on their own.
-Alidia: It's a fact. I witnessed a chaotic scene in a lab where scientists attempted to extract the blood. It was quite a sight.
-Destroyer: Extracting the blood may be within my capabilities, but it's no easy task.
-Aido: How many of them are still alive? Just the three half-buried individuals? Your keen observation is remarkable. It seems 18 of them have perished.
-Destroyer: Most likely, the deceased were cooked alive. They remain trapped in the ground, waiting to be extracted.
Suddenly, all four of them were launched into the sky by multiple explosions. As they moved through the air, they held their positions and realized that the larger monster they had faced was actually a bomb that caused significant damage. It became evident that the smaller versions of the monster were also explosive, turning the area into a dangerous minefield. Looking at each other with smiles, they acknowledged their invincibility, except for their clothes, which were not as resilient. Even the monsters emitted high levels of heat. Fortunately, Aido was completely protected by Destroyer, while the clothing of the others was in disarray.
Luyira exclaimed with a grin, "Fanservice!"
Frenia cursed under her breath.
-Frenia:Shit! We're going to need more clothes.
Alidia lamented the loss of her shield and lance, made of Vitrilium.
-Alidia: Good thing they exploded here, the damage could have been catastrophic if it happened near the army.
Destroyer chuckled.
-Destroyer: That was quite the blast, luckily we had already taken care of it.
Luyira chuckled.
-Luyira:The armor is mocking us! But hey, at least you have a pleasant laugh.
Frenia fretted.
Frenia: I'm naked! I hate being exposed like this!
-Destroyer: I can whip up some clothes for you, but that was not what you said a night before.
Frenia blushed.
-Frenia: That fleeting vulnerability was simply a moment of weakness, please refrain from teasing me. I reserve the privilege of revealing my captivating physique for those who hold a special place in my heart; it's not about flaunting, especially when it comes to intimate areas.
Frenia always adorns herself in stunning and alluring attire, embodying a sense of allure and confidence that captivates all those around her. Luyira interjected playfully
-Luyira: I'm enjoying the view! Whoo hoo!
Aido sighed
-Aido: You're not making this any easier.
Luyira giggled.
-Luyira: Just speaking the truth. It's a shame Aido's still all covered up. Mucha Ropa! mucha Ropa!
Aido breathed a sigh of relief.
-Aido: Thank the gods I'm not a demigod like the rest of you, that could have been much worse for me, considering the impact I felt.
Alidia reminded him.
Alidia: We are still human, don't forget that. Only you body is more fragile than we are.
-Destroyer: It might be time for you to start training and harvesting the power. You possess the power of the Retter Messiah and have great potential to evolve.
-Aido: I want to contribute more, I just don't know-how.
Frenia's voice interrupted.
-Frenia Did you guys hear that?
Luyira cocked her head.
-Luyira: I didn't hear anything. What's going on?
-Alidia: The battle has ceased, the cannons have fallen silent, and the dust is settling.
-Frenia: How long did that take?
-Destroyer: From start to finish, it was 46 minutes and 54 seconds. A record time for taking down such a colossal beast.
-Frenia: Less than 47 minutes? We have to inform the soldiers. The dragon took half a day, but this creature kept attacking the same spot, or else the casualties would have been much higher.
-Aido: I've heard tales of foes so mighty that they require days to conquer.
-Frenia: Oh, those are the worst! I harbor a deep-seated animosity toward them. It took me anywhere from 3 to 6 days to vanquish them. Their underlings usually perish within hours, but the true challenge lies in the beasts that never rest. The behemoth and turtle creatures are relentless. They may slow down when fatigued, but they endure the onslaught with steadfast determination. I have braved encounters with such formidable adversaries in my lifetime.
-Alidia: We should return. Here, use these clothes. The resources from the Destroyer are impressive. I never expected to need fabrics to create tents within us.
-Frenia: I can make use of them. I must maintain my image, even with my fame. It is important to present myself appropriately.
-Luyira: Show me the items for sale. How else am I supposed to make a purchase? Well, I feel more like a tent now you mention mother, this basically some fabrics covering us.
-Alidia: Well, anything more elaborate would require some machines or someone with the talent to make simple clothes at least.
After the three are covered with pieces of cloth, Frenia hugs Lyira from behind and proposes a deal.
-Frenia: Oh, you want to see the goods? Then pay with the young boy.
-Lyira: No, I will pass. The goods are not good enough for my ultra-rare premium item.
-Frenia: That is a wise decision. Perhaps you will change your mind in the future, but be prepared to pay a steep price then!
-Luyira: The boy is not up for negotiation. He belongs to me.
-Aido: It's a relief to see them at ease. Mother, pass me what is left of your lance and shield.
Alidia is still watching the interaction between the girls.
- Alidia: Sometimes I wish they were being more direct with their words. It's as if they have information that we lack. Do you have any idea?
-Aido: The Destroyer can absorb them, and we can then craft another set. We will need it, as I've already spotted the approaching army. Let's intercept them before they enter this chaotic situation.
-Destroyer: The Retter Messiah seems to have information inside their very souls, but accessing it is another matter. Even I do not have much knowledge about it.
The four hurried towards the army, poised to attack and eliminate any remaining beasts on the ground. However, the group halted them and explained the situation. The rest of the army was tasked with handling the deceased creatures cautiously, as any misstep could trigger explosions yet to happen. The group returned to the wall, with Aido concerned about his mother's tattered clothes, garnering some inappropriate looks from soldiers, although most maintained respect for their commanders.
Arthur's voice broke the silence in the room, filled with exhaustion and satisfaction after the recent victory.
-Arthur: Better talk after you three change, most people are tired and need rest. We can discuss later.
Jessica chimed in with optimism.
-Jessica: The reports are excellent. It seems our strategy to control the minions and rank 2 worked like a charm. We have had almost no casualties, maybe not even one. We will have the information in a few hours.
-Alidia:That's good news. We are right on track, despite some surprises.
Destroyer, however, brooded over the recent events, baffled by the behavior of the newborns.
-Destroyer:I still cannot comprehend the way they attacked us. If they truly are the offspring of the titanic beast, they should have some bond with their parents. Yet, they attacked without hesitation. They seem more like machines than living beings.
As everyone settled down to rest, reveling in the victory and enjoying a meal, a hunter burst into the hall. Despite the half-day that had passed since the battle, the key figures gathered to review the actions taken and the outcome were now faced with an unexpected interruption. The hunter delivered urgent news from beyond the wall, causing a ripple of concern. "Sir! I have an urgent message from beyond the wall!" The hunter's voice rang out in the room, catching everyone's attention. Arthur took the message and scanned its contents, reserved unease flickering across his face. The message was addressed to the commanders and a select few. It bore troubling news - Gustavo, the Leader of the Town of Lost Hope, was currently en route aboard his ship to a port near the eastern section of the wall, by the Gulf of Mexico.
-Arthur: Attention, all ears to me, please. "Behold the news of a colossal Swarm of beasts marching towards the forsaken Town of Lost Hope. Fear not, our people, for it now sets its course for the illustrious Star City of Judah, on track to arrive within a mere 48 to 72 hours. This Swarm of beasts exhibits an unsettling behavior as it was spotted kilometers away from the city, yet took hours to reach its destination. Thankfully, the city was deserted upon their arrival, yet they pursue our people in their escape. The magnitude of the Swarm is staggering, likely numbering in the tens of thousands, visible from afar as it spans across mountain ranges. We beseech the aid of our brave warriors."
Jessica the Queen, continues after analizing the documents the hunters pass to her and the king.
-Jessica: It is a stroke of fortune that the town lay abandoned. I have just received word that most residents have sought refuge in the star city, increasing their odds of outracing the approaching beasts.
-Alidia: How do we mobilize such a sizable force swiftly? Our hand is forced, but are our resources sufficient?
-Jessica: We possess the means to reach Judah, albeit on foot which may take a span of 72 hours. The outcome hinges on their ability to hold out. Judah's defenses are inferior, with lower walls and cannons.
-Aido: The time to act is now.
-Sakura: I stand prepared to advance; come, Carlos, let us rally the troops.
-Frenia: Sakura, summon my fearless amazoness warriors. We march forth, and your diligent training will prove invaluable in their valorous efforts.
-Arthur: Let us proceed swiftly, seizing this pivotal moment. Marceline, Javier, you shall command the civilian soldiers, and requisition mobile cannons, sparing what we can from the fortifications.
Frenia pondered thoughtfully.
-Frenia: To face a creature similar to the one we vanquished, we can only spare around 30 cannons. The larger ones will be our main source of damage. If the enemy sends another horde of minions, we'll need all our remaining ammunition.
-Arthur: It may seem limited, but having the saviors by our side will certainly tip the scales in our favor.
-Alidia: I must inform the council members of our situation. There are crucial details I need to discuss with them, and the army will require their unwavering support.
Suddenly, a Hunter of Rank S approached them urgently, "Sir, we have an important report."
-Arthur: What news do you bring, Hunter?
-Hunter: We have been unable to establish communication with the City of Judah. Despite sharing news of our victory at the wall, they have not responded to any of our messages. Even Gustavo's ship, which relayed the last message, is now silent on the radio.
Alidia pressed for more information, "When was the last communication received?"
The Hunter responded, "It was an hour ago from Gustavo's ship, and we confirmed it just 10 minutes back. He is currently en route and expected to arrive by tomorrow morning."
As Alidia watched the papers about the location of Gustavo ship and the City of Judah, a sense of unease settled in her mind. She turned to the mysterious Destroyer, seeking his thoughts.
-Destroyer:The same as yours, a jamming signal.
Arthur, ever the skeptic, voiced his disbelief.
-Arthur:But is it truly impossible, or is it?
Jessica, the fearless queen, turned to Alidia for her insight.
-Jessica: What are your thoughts, Alidia? Share them with us.
-Alidia:The battle was far from easy.
Alidia began, her words tinged with concern.
-Alidia: It was curious how the Titanic beasts behaved. What if this was all a distraction? If we lose ground near the nests, we will be at a severe disadvantage. The reports failed to mention the presence of these colossal creatures, only hinting at a swarm even bigger than the one we faced. It's possible that the beasts have divided their minions to attack the cities, a tactic they have used before.
-Arthur: Jamming the radio indicates that the beasts are highly intelligent and cunning. It suggests that they may have technical knowledge, which raises suspicion about whether someone is controlling them. The possibility is unsettling.
-Jessica: Let's not overlook the abnormal behavior of the newborns. They displayed no attachment to the alpha beast. This appears to be a coordinated tactic, but what is their goal?
-Alidia: It's evident that they are pursuing a specific objective. Their behavior resembles that of a wolf pack, but their level of intelligence makes them much more dangerous.
Jessica's eyes hardened with determination.
-Jessica:We must act swiftly. Our only chance is to make a rapid move. While the city of Judah lies too far, the town of Lost Hope is within reach.
Alidia shook her head, sensing a trap.
-Alidia:The monsters likely lie in wait in Lost Hope. But more pressing is the danger facing Gustavo. Oblivious to the threat, he is headed towards us. He must be warned.
Arthur made a swift decision.
-Arthur: We must act quickly. Send an expedition to Judah to verify the reports. If the city is indeed in peril, we must lend our aid. But our primary focus remains Lost Hope. Once we secure supplies there, we must hasten to Judah with all possible speed.
Luyira's eyes spark with determination and energetic.
-Luyira: Let's sprint there and teach those beasts a lesson they won't forget!
Alidia, the voice of reason.
-Alidia: We mustn't abandon those under our protection, even in our haste.
-Arthur: Sending our best fighters into a possible trap is too risky. The enemy's plan may be to eliminate us.
Aido's voice is filled with concern.
-Aido: To allow this would put countless lives in jeopardy. The sheer horror of these merciless beasts, who see us not as prey but as mere obstacles to their goal of eradicating our entire species. Though some may argue that our past transgressions warrant such retribution, the innocent souls of today do not deserve to bear the burden of our ancestors' sins. This cruel cycle of destruction must come to an end.
-Frenia: Fear not, the legendary Star city of Judan has stood against these creatures for ages. Their noble blood will buy us time.
-Destroyer: Knowledge is power. With my insight, I know the city's defenses. We'll prevail as long as the colossal beast stays away.
Aido nods in agreement.
-Aido: Then let's waste no time. We must aid them swiftly.
The army springs into action, efficiently preparing to march. Supplies are packed, vehicles loaded, and every soldier readies themselves. The city may provide weaponry, but essential provisions are scarce. The group of saviors stands ready, leading the convoy towards the looming threat. Bipedal cannon mechas and tanks form a protective barrier around them, ready for any unforeseen danger. The fate of the city hangs in the balance, and they are determined to stand against the tide of beasts.
-Sasari: Isn't it strange how everyone here is accustomed to hearing two voices emanating from Aido?
-Sakura: Indeed, imagine if those who don't know about Destroyer were suddenly confronted with the truth. They would be astonished and terrified.
-Luyira:In his armored form, I can't even see his face, and it's rather vexing. He must wear it constantly now, even during moments of rest. Only in intimate settings does he dare to remove it.
-Sasari: Why is that?
-Luyira: His body may be robust, but like you Sasari, he isn't inherently more powerful than you or Marceline. Despite possessing the strength akin to that of an S-rank hunter, he still gets injured during training. I've had to tend to his wounds. Witnessing him bleed is distressing. It serves as a reminder that he is still vulnerable.
-Sakura: Don't look so grim. I know you hate seeing me hurt as well.
"I do, my dear," Luyira reassured her.
-Luyira: But Aido is more vital to me than myself.
Upon processing the information, Sakura felt momentarily lost before realizing.
-Sakura: Wait a moment, he started wearing full armor and a helmet today, and it's only afternoon! When did you find time for intimacy? What did you do?
Luyira look at Sakura with a smile.
-Luyira: Let's just say, that Aido is enjoying his time with me.
Sasari looked on with concern.
-Sasari: You guys are sex machines, I have to be careful, and so does Mom. Even though it's only been a month, I have a life inside me.
Sasari caresses her belly and smiles
Marceline added thoughtfully, "Only love can hurt like this".
-Marceline:Luyira, I understand your sentiments. When we converse, it often feels like we are addressing Destroyer alone. People tend to forget that there are two individuals within that armor. It's conceivable that Aido may also struggle with this. Perhaps he has grown accustomed to it, or maybe it still troubles him.
Arthur and Jessica led the majestic convoy, their minds filled with the sweet chatter of the girls. A colossal mechanical tank rumbled ahead, while the other commanders huddled together, delving into the important information at hand. Aido and Frenia gallantly led the vanguard, their swift pace matched only by a few demi-humans at their side. The convoy pressed on with urgency, able to travel for hours on end before requiring a brief stop. The soldiers strained under the weight of their gear, the supplies ferried by living vehicles, mechas, and tanks. Scouts ventured ahead, seeking out threats or a glimmer of hope from the lost town.
-Arthur: Should we continue for another twenty hours, we shall arrive by afternoon.
Entrusting logistics to Jessica.
-Jessica: You handle the details; I shall guide us through battle with my leadership.
-Alidia: We must allow our warriors a moment of rest to face the looming swarm of beasts. We cannot afford fatigue in the face of such a formidable threat. The town is near, I can feel it.
As Destroyer's gaze scanned the horizon, Aido proposed a plan to hasten their progress if they encountered danger ahead. Luyira's unwavering optimism echoed through the group, with Sakura recalling their previous victories. "We have triumphed before, and we shall do so again," she exclaimed confidently. Carlos and Alidia discussed the state of their communication, only to find silence on all fronts. As Nerisse reported the lack of response from any of their allies, a sense of uncertainty briefly gripped the convoy. The radio was dead, and even now the wall did not respond. But with determination in their hearts, they pushed on, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them on their journey.
The remainder of the journey flew by like a whirlwind, the scouts finally arriving at the town where they awaited the convoy. It took precisely two hours for the convoy to catch up. Upon arrival, the scouts relayed their findings - the town of Lost Hope was eerily quiet, with farm animals moving about inside it. Aido remarked that the town appeared untouched, save for a few unfortunate animals that had fallen prey to wild predators. Arthur instructed the team to search the granaries and warehouses for supplies as planned, noting that everything seemed frozen in time as if the residents had fled in a hurry. Jessica confirmed the hunter's report that the town was deserted, except for the encroaching beasts.
Destroyer turned to Nerisse and demanded confirmation from the demi-human scouts. Nerisse, or rather Daisy revealed herself, explaining that as per the commander's orders, they had scoured the area for clues upon approaching the town. Daisy reported that the demi-human camp outside town was undisturbed, and the tracks indicated a swift passage through the town, although there were signs of a prolonged presence. Nerisse observed that the ground felt unusual, Daisy suggesting a massive number of beasts - possibly up to 100,000 - were accompanied by something moving beneath the surface. Aido voiced concerns about the presence of worms accompanying the beasts, to which Arthur grimly acknowledged the bad news. He ordered a six-hour rest for the team before continuing their journey towards the city of Judah. If they maintained their current pace, they would arrive by tomorrow.
Alidia recounted their whirlwind four-day journey compressed into just one and a half days, ensuring the safety of both refugees and city dwellers. Jessica confirmed that their supplies were ample, giving them the ability to press on for another seven to nine days before needing to replenish, with a caution to use them judiciously in case of skirmishes. Arthur mentioned that while he had enough ammunition for a significant battle, the prospect of facing one hundred thousand opponents would prove to be a formidable challenge, even with all the supplies stored within the protective walls. Alidia entrusted Jessica and Sakura with the responsibility of managing the supplies, while the group noticed the dwindling morale among the demi-humans.
Luyira and Nerisse reminisced about the once vibrant campsite they now found abandoned and desolate, a stark contrast to the hope and energy they had once associated with it. Daisy expressed her concerns for her siblings, acknowledging their small numbers before arriving at their current location. Michi shared memories of the united tribes that once numbered in the thousands, each individual group only ever reaching a few hundred at most, creating a breathtaking sight. In a reflective moment, Luyira and Nerisse discussed the challenges faced by demi-humans, acknowledging the lack of recognition and representation they received in the capital city. Nerisse also noted their recent mistrust towards the saviors, uncertain if they were allies or enemies. Delicately, she inquired about the girl who clung to Luyira, wondering if the attention bothered her, only to discover that she was his cherished companion. Sakura sought comfort and strength from Luyira, embracing her to regain her Luytonium and face the looming threats they encountered. Carlos, amused by the situation, decided to let Sakura have her way, seeing the bond between her and Luyira as a source of solace and unity amidst their turbulent journey.
Nerisse spoke of Luyira's potential welcome into the world of demi-humans, noting her unique mix-blood appearance.
-Nerisse: You fit right in here, with two leaders who share your resemblance.
Michi chimed in, recalling the daughters of the lion chief.
-Michi:I caught a glimpse of them once. One bore a striking human resemblance, while the other bore similarities to the crimson Goddess, her tail extending elegantly. Truly a sight to behold, both of them. Such mix-blood individuals are not so uncommon, with at least a few in every tribe.
Daisy couldn't help but laugh at the mention of Chief Leonidas.
-Daisy: Most males quake in fear at the mere mention of his name,
She chuckled. Michi nodded in agreement.
-Michi: Yes, with muscles as sturdy as steel, he's smaller than some demi-humans but a force to be reckoned with. Perhaps only Frenia the warrior could truly best him.
Luyira, ever confident, flexed her arms casually.
-Luyira: So, that means I could take him on too, right?
Michi expressed her interest in seeing a potential showdown.
-Michi: I would love to witness that match-up.
-Nerisse: Are all demi-human males so foolish?
Daisy replied with a smirk, "More like overly macho."
Michi shook her head playfully.
-Michi: "You two are quite harsh. The chief is a true man, a powerhouse among demi-humans who can even face monsters head-on.
Luyira, feeling emboldened, challenged her companions.
-Luyira: Do you want to see who truly holds the title of the strongest? I'm ready to take him on.
-Sakura: It would be quite a spectacle to see. The only way to find out is through a good old-fashioned fight.
-Destroyer: I call upon everyone to rest, for tomorrow will be a challenging day if we manage to intercept that swarm.
-Everyone: Understood!
-Luyira: Consider it done, Dad! Here, take care of this playful monkey Carlos, lest she tries to wedge herself between Aido and me. I also need to recharge.
Without warning, Luyira handed Carlos over to Sakura, surprising him with the sight of the usually wild Sakura displaying submission to her. With a blush on her cheeks, she snuggled up to him, prompting Carlos to escort her to the caravan and let her sleep in his bed. Despite feeling remorse for her, he resolved to shower her with all the affection he could muster. Her eccentricities did not faze him, as her cuteness was undeniable; he was determined to be her healer.
-Luyira: How adorable! Good night,Carlos. Tomorrow, we shall conquer.
-Carlos: I'll follow your lead!
In the predawn hours, the army set out, laden with provisions, gear, and weapons, the caravan hustled along as swiftly as possible to intercept the approaching swarm before it reached the city. However, a troubling realization soon dawned on them.
-Alidia: Luy, my dear, lend me your eyes, will you?
-Luyira: Of course, Mom. Anything for you. Launching herself skyward, Luyira scanned the horizon with her keen vision and some binoculars.
The city lay in the distance, six hours away at this pace. She could make out the coastline but was unable to confirm the presence of ships at the docks due to the distance. Descending back to the caravan, she wove through the crowd to rejoin her mother and Aido at the truck.
Luyira relayed her observations to the rest of the group.
-Luyira: I see nothing at all, the plains resemble the town of Lost Hope.
-Alidia: I wonder if they have decided to abandon the city, but there is a problem. Have you noticed it, Frenia, Destroyer?
-Frenia: Yes, I have noticed it as well. The demi-humans have also mentioned it.
-Destroyer: The trails disappeared an hour ago. We are still within a dense jungle-like forest, with the sea beside us. I noticed some signs of movement in the trees and plants, but the ground is clean.
-Aido: What does it signify?
-Alidia: We are going to find out. However, I am certain of one thing: the city would likely hold for at least one day. They are a proud people, and I seriously doubt they would leave without a fight. A fight that would leave behind smoke, marks, or some evidence.
-Frenia: I know their leader, Alejandro McClein. He is as large as me and would never flee from a battle. I am beginning to understand your point. The ground is clean, and they have no reason to venture into the jungle, as it would impede their progress. The path between the trees appears more like a corridor, easy to be ambushed by beasts. They would prefer to engage in battle in the open plains where there is more space.
-Arthur: Are you suggesting that this might be a trap? Could the enemy have cleaned up the trails of a previous battle to lure us into the city?
-Jessica: It is a possibility. The beasts are not intelligent enough to do this, and I doubt the town could have done so either. They were recently attacked, and it seems implausible for them to have efficiently cleared the trails in less than 24 hours.
-Destroyer: As we approach the plains, the city looms on the horizon, just a few kilometers away. Our vision is clear now. But let the scouts continue their search for any lurking beasts in the land. Madam Nerisse, any updates?
-Nerisse: I find myself assuming the role of leader among the Demi-humans, at least within our small band. The ground beneath us feels peculiar, as if it has been tampered with.
-Alidia: If only we had access to radios or more information. Inform the soldiers to be cautious of the ground; we may have hidden foes underground, perhaps even more Worms lurking.
The convoy progresses for hours until they finally reach the plains. Yet, there are no signs of beasts in the distance, nor any within view. The city draws near, but there is an eerie absence of life.
-Arthur: What does this mean?
-Alidia: The city is deserted, as if all traces of conflict have vanished.
-Destroyer: They must all be deceased.
-Alidia: No, we must confirm this. We cannot assume everyone perished. We must search for clues; if there were beasts, there should be traces left behind. Yet, even the ground remains undisturbed.
The convoy presses on until they arrive at the city, a sense of unease washing over them. What if the swarm is lying in wait within the city's walls?
-Alidia: OPEN THE GATES, IN THE NAME OF THE HUNTERS' COMMANDER! BY ORDER OF THE EMPEROR!
The gates remain shut, silent and still. After a brief pause, Alidia commands Luy and Frenia to assist in opening the gate.
-Luyira: We could leap over and investigate.
-Alidia: Then do it. Stay vigilant. Aido, keep looking our rear, and the forests, even we have the sea beside us, aquatic beasts do not leave water and the others are slow in water.
-Aido: Roger, anything we notice will be reported.
Alidia turns her attention towards the rest of the group.
-Alidia: We need to split up and investigate the city. If you find anything of note, report it immediately.
Together, Frenia and Luyira exert their strength to force the gates open. The barrier, a combination of wood and metal, gives way with some effort. The city greets them in eerie silence, its buildings standing empty, the streets bearing the scars of battle yet devoid of any bodies. Everyone was shocked by the sight. Most buildings were demolished by the gate, but upon advancing a little, the destruction seemed to have lessened.
Frenia gazed around in bewilderment, questioning the eerie emptiness that engulfed the town.
-Frenia: It's like everyone just vanished, as if the town was spirited away.
Luyira and Aido, contemplating the mysterious situation. Alidia's voice cut through the tense silence, her instincts on high alert.
-Alidia: Troops, be on guard. My maternal intuition warns me that this silence is a facade, they're waiting for us.
Arthur's eyes scanned the desolate streets in disbelief.
-Arthur: Where are the people? It can't be possible that they all perished. They were warned about the worms, the top hunters were here. This can't be happening again.
Jessica's calming words enveloped the group, urging Arthur to focus.
-Jessica: Calm down, my love. We haven't checked the shelters yet, but one thing is clear - there are no ships at the pier, a glaring absence.
As the soldiers scoured the abandoned city, a sense of dread crept in. Not a soul remained, not even a trace of life. The once vibrant houses and shelters now stood empty, a surreal illusion. Gathering at an impromptu command center in the plaza, the leaders deliberated their next move, their faces etched with concern. Nerisse's report brought a shard of hope amidst the despair.
-Nerisse: Commander, the ground here feels odd, yet familiar. Our canine companions sense the lingering presence of both people and beasts. Traces of blood taint the air, and houses in the southwest lie demolished, while the north remains unscathed.
Destroyer's gruff voice offered a plausible theory.
-Destroyer: The battle seemed to have unfolded in the south, yet the absence of bodies puzzles us.
Amidst the chaos, Michi's urgent report cut through the tension, casting a shadow of uncertainty over their already troubled minds.
-Alidia: Proceed.
-Michi: The gates in the northeast have swung open, revealing a vast expanse of emptiness that hints at a mass exodus from the city. However, there are no visible trails. I've dispatched a few scouts ahead with strict instructions to turn back if they surpass the city's 25-kilometer limit.
-Jessica: It is conceivable that they have fled.
-Arthur: More than 20,000 souls? It is a possibility, but the most pressing question remains...
-Aido: Where are the beasts?
Suddenly, Marceline appeared, flanked by Lasui, Sasari, and Javier, brimming with urgent information.
-Marceline: Urgent news! We must evacuate the city and head for the plains unless it's already in there below the plains.
-Alidia: Marceline, please, calm yourself. What are you trying to convey?
-Lasui: It's an Armadantoise. We stumbled upon a radio control room in disarray, where we discovered a document detailing a recent battle. The battle occurred just yesterday and ended in a devastating defeat, with the enemy being an Armadantoise equipped with the capability to launch attacks on the city raining beasts to the inside of the city, the hunters got flanked from behind and the Turtle in the front. The evidence is indisputable.
-Alidia: Are you absolutely certain?
-Destroyer: Mobilize the troops! This is undoubtedly a trap. The city itself is a snare, with the streets and buildings poised to overwhelm our military movements.
-Arthur: Can you elaborate?
At that moment, a piercing, bone-chilling scream reverberated throughout the city, emanating from the very outskirts as a shadowy figure began to materialize, casting a foreboding darkness over the buildings around.
-Aido: Damn we are too inside the city.
-Luyira: Mom, that is a big shit turtle.
-Frenia: YOU! I HATE YOU TYPE!
-Alidia: too late, spread the word, the enemy is comming from below the ground.
-Arthur: that thing is too close, send troops to the cannons, move the mobile ones to the empty lot in the north, and use covering fire, even if we have to destroy the city.
The beasts began to appear from the ground, and the streets, some were even below the rubble of the demolished houses, the soldiers were ready for a fight, but the size of the streets and the buildins are a obstacle, they have troubles using big weapons as swords, axes and lances, some use the firearms they have at hand and some use bows and crossbow trying to reach the roofs of the buildings, even so they are overhelmed by the quantity of beasts that keep appearing from their own footing.
-Soldier: Let loose the cover fire!
-Destroyer: Ready the cannons, our only option is to reduce these buildings to rubble if necessary.
-Aido: We can't risk the explosions harming our troops.
-Destroyer: It's necessary for our survival, Aido. Our soldiers understand the strategy. We must clear the area so they have room to maneuver. Trust the cannoners, my friend, my lord.
-Alidia: The turtle must be stopped before it reaches the city, the devastation would be catastrophic!
Frenia, with unwavering determination, leaps at the turtle, landing powerful blows on its armored shell. The turtle retaliates, but Frenia's speed and agility keep her one step ahead, relentlessly attacking.
-Frenia: Your time is up, colossal turtle! I will bring you down!
-Alidia: We must support her! Arthur, Sakura, Marceline, maintain the command line. We have a battle ahead.
-Sakura: Commander Alidia, stay safe! Aido, Luyira, protect each other and your mother.
-Luyira: You can count on us! That turtle won't stand a chance.
-Alidia: Its movements are slow. Let's try the Icicle attack and the lava spike.
Luyira takes the lead, positioning herself on the turtle's head, while Alidia uses her taunt ability to give the hunters an opening. The tanks establish a defensive barrier as the siblings unleash their abilities, although they are unable to utilize their taunt ability on this occasion. Support primarily comes from their musical talents in this instance. Marceline, Arthur, Jessica, and Javier maintain a defensive perimeter, guarding against any unseen threats below. The battlefield comes alive with coordinated attacks and strategic maneuvers, united in the fight against the encroaching beasts.
Francisco positioned himself in front of Lizzie, his voice laced with confidence. "Lizzie, stand by my side. As a skilled close combat warrior, let us lure them in this time." With a determined look in her eyes, Lizzie replied, "I will shield you and the commanders. Together, we shall face whatever comes our way."
Aido gazed at the looming threat.
-Aido:At least they're not worms yet, I only see canine types. Let's do our duty, Destroyer.
Destroyer's eyes gleamed with determination. "I am prepared."
As Aido, Luyira, and Alidia descended upon the turtle's back, they observed the frenzied attempts of Frenia to attack its head. Luyira soared into the sky to gather momentum for her icy spike. With impeccable timing, Aido and Alidia followed suit, Aido and Luyira conjuring forth two massive spikes - one of molten lava, the other of ice. With a thunderous explosion, they hurled the deadly projectiles towards the colossal creature. The turtle swiftly lowered its cannons, narrowly evading the impending danger. The spikes shattered against its impenetrable shell, inflicting no damage. Alidia's lance was next to no avail against the formidable armor. Even as elite rank SS warriors, they found themselves at an impasse. Aido turned to Destroyer with a faint glimmer of hope in his eyes.
-Aido: Let us try my ability, Destroyer. You know what to do.
Frenia ground her teeth in frustration.
-Frenia: This beast is tougher than I am. I need to dig deep for a trick up my sleeve.
With a mighty blow, she attempted to drive the turtle into the ground. The creature shuddered slightly but remained unfazed, striking back with its appendages to target the mobile cannons and the wall-mounted cannons. Luyira sprang into action, trying to destabilize the turtle with her agile movements. Her efforts were in vain as the creature's appendages struck her with force, causing her to tumble from the shell. Fortunately, she managed to prevent a fall to the ground, swiftly regaining her footing beside Alidia. The battle against the indomitable turtle raged on, their unity tested in the face of overwhelming odds.
Before their very eyes, what they initially mistook for cannonballs transformed into ferocious Beasts, launching a relentless attack on the cannons and hunters.
Hunter cannoner: Keep these creatures at bay!
Hunter with sword: We're trying, but they're quick and relentless!
As the chaos unfolded, Marceline observed with dread.
-Marceline:That turtle can command the beasts...this is disastrous.
Sakura sprang into action, declaring.
-Sakura: We must aid them.
Arthur's voice echoed through the battlefield, urging his soldiers to remember their training. "No," he commanded, his eyes scanning the chaos around him. "Utilize ranged attacks, avoid close combat. Stay within the protective encircle of tanks. Sasari and Lasui are our pillars of strength, empowering our soldiers with their gifts, but they are too vulnerable to move when in their trance-like state." The soldiers looked to their leader, determination sparking in their eyes as they prepared to follow his orders, most bomber hunters have become ranged attackers, targeting the incoming beasts from a distance
The creatures continue to emerge from the ground, with the most concerning being the turtle. It appears to be more intelligent than the other creatures, using its body to shield them and launching attacks on the city. It has managed to destroy the cannons and cause significant damage to the city. Aido attempted to utilize his abilities once more, achieving some success, though the outcome was not as substantial as anticipated. The Destroyer also employed their abilities with increased power, yet the results remained unchanged. The angered turtle attempted to shake off the group, but Frenia held her ground, unable to reach its head due to its broad shell. Instead, she focused on identifying potential weak points in its neck. Luyira and Alidia rushed to support Frenia, strategizing on a new approach to harm the massive creature. Suddenly, Luyira spotted four humanoid figures descending near Aido.
-Luyira: AIDO, BEWARE!
-Aido: What?
-Unknown Person 1: Surprise! We are the villains you seek.
-Unknown Person 2: Lover boy, we require your presence elsewhere.
The laughter of the figures echoed as one of them swiftly grabbed Aido by the leg, executing a rapid spin and hurling him northeastwards at supersonic speed. Luyira attempted to pursue him, but the turtle capitalized on the opportunity to strike her with its appendages. However, Luyira evaded the attack and tried to counter the beast, causing it to tremble in response.
-Luyira: MOTHER! AIDO IS BEING CARRIED OFF!
-Unknown 2: Uhh, scary, please, my dear, join me for a dance.
-Alidia: They have finally arrived.
-Frenia: Vile individuals, are you responsible for this?
-Unknown 2, 3, 4: Indeed, we are.
-Unknown 3: I will take the bigger one, she seems more reasonable.
One of the figures spoke with a sarcastic tone.
-Unknown 4: Great, I am with the loli, at least she has good assets.
-Unknown 2: Well, I'm not into furries myself, but I'll play with the girl.
-Unknown: We should last at least through two songs to have enough time.
In a sudden surge of rage and bloodlust, a palpable tension fills the air for all present - beasts, hunters, and soldiers alike, including the four individuals standing before her.
-Luyira: STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!
-Alidia: LUYIRA, PLEASE CALM DOWN!
Alidia had long forgotten the sensation of fear. Ever since her transformation as a child, her body had become invulnerable and immune to all threats. Her only source of apprehension had been the growth of Aido. But now, a newfound sense of trepidation gnawed at her, as she was once again terrified for her own safety
-Unknown 2: What in the world, even the beasts cower in fear of you. The turtle even faints at the sight of your bloodlust.
-Unknown: It appears he doesn't truly have control over them in the end; freedom can be a risky endeavor. But I find her intriguing.
Enraged by Aido disappearing into the distance, Luyira unleashes a powerful attack, only to be blocked by the unknown person, resulting in a shock wave. Subsequently, she releases a blinding explosion, startling everyone present.
-Unknown 3: I tend to gravitate towards more seasoned individuals. Care for a dance, my dear?
-Frenia: Quite the gentleman for an adversary employing beasts to commit atrocities. How do you match our strength?
-Unknown 4: Shh, it's a secret; focus on the one making all the noise in the ongoing battle.
-Alidia: Luyira, leave now!
Employing her taunting abilities once more, Alidia aims to create an opening for her daughter to escape, but they prove immune to her taunts, showcasing their superior strength as the battle commences. Frenia takes the lead, attacking the group with reckless abandon. In a swift move, she grabs the unknown individual by the neck and hurls them to the apendices of the turtle. However, he grabs her arms and flings her to the ground. Frenia recovers from the attack and lunges once more to attack the enemy, only to be kicked aside with ease.
-Unknown 3: How disappointing, I thought I would at least get a good dance.
Meanwhile The hunters engage in combat with the beasts and the turtle, fighting a war of attrition. Despite the fierce resistance, it becomes evident that the hunters are outnumbered, with the beasts emerging from underground, the streets, and the rooftops, displaying remarkable agility. Though valiant, the hunters find themselves at a numerical disadvantage against the formidable enemy forces.
-Soldier: The beasts draw near!
-Arthur: Ready the cannons, hold the line! Marceline, Jessica, Javier, protect the siblings. Sakura, unleash your magic, raze the structures if you must. Make way for the tanks to draw them out, conserve your energy with smaller spells. Let the other bombers recover, and order them to do the same when ready.
-Carlos: If this carries on, we will be overwhelmed. We're losing more than we did with the worms.
-Arthur: What was that thunderous noise above? The turtle has halted, unharmed. What is happening up there?
The brave hunters valiantly battle the beasts in the streets, but for each one vanquished, another emerges. The civilian soldiers falter under the relentless assault, mere minutes into the skirmish. At the city's southern edge, Frenia, Alidia, and Luyira clash with the enigmatic trio. Their strikes go amiss, even in close combat, as the three strangers revel in the skirmish, the one not participating strum a tune on a guitar.
Unknown:

Jesus, my Savior, my King
In His presence, my heart will sing
Unknown 2, 3, 4 scoffed in unison, "That is a dreadful tune, no one would dare to utter such words."
Luyira frowned.
-Luyira: This is undoubtedly the most inopportune moment for a serenade. Stop blocking the way.
-Unknown: Your taste in music is what's truly ghastly. Curiously, it seems they have conveniently forgotten the names mentioned.
-U4: They aren't always around; the so-called pseudo-sons. It's evident they believe their offspring is the chosen one.
Unknown 3 remarked with a sly grin,
-U3: Seems like you're lacking some finesse, like a typical brute. Not that I don't find it endearing, in a way.
-Frenia: Could it be that the recent onslaughts were orchestrated by you?
To which Unknown 3 denied.
U3: Nah, we've only just arrived; the beasts don't exactly heed our commands, if that's what you're wondering.
- Alidia: I wouldn't be too sure, Frenia. These vermin are formidable with battle prowess. He's taken me down a good few times, his swiftness and strength are unmatched.
Luyira's head shook in a silent protest, as the tremble in her fists grew more pronounced with each passing moment, a visual symphony of her escalating emotions.
-Luyira:I'm clueless about their intentions, but one thing is certain - they pose a grave threat to me achieving my destiny.
-Unknown 2 raised an eyebrow.
-U2: Impressive, she's not only landing blows harder but also emitting an ominous energy from her fists. Remember this, boss?
-Unknown: Fascinating; she bears a resemblance to him. But prevent her from escaping; it's only been five minutes, we require at least thirty before our scheme culminates.
-Frenia : If that's the case, then let's unleash havoc.
At Frenia declaration the girls went into a frenzy, driven by the notion that Aido might be imperiled and they have their own secret plan for him. Luyira was now consumed by wrath and hatred.
Unknown 3 couldn't help but smirk.
-U3: You provoked her intentionally, didn't you?
-U4: hahaha, I must admit, the fury within her is quite delicious. Even the turtle seems to feel its effect. even wake up already, it still frozen in place fearing what is over itself.
Unknown observed, "There's something special about this girl, and the boy too. They're already aware, so let them release some pent-up steam."
Luyira charged towards the guy who dared to challenge her, but their clash sent them tumbling into the heart of the city. In a frenzy, she used him like a rag doll, smashing him against anything she could find. However, he was quick to grab her and prevent her from escaping, never once attempting to harm her. Frenia, on the other hand, used all her might to overpower her opponent, hurling him towards a turtle nearby. But he remained elusive, dodging her attacks and engaging in a dance of combat with her. Seizing an opportunity, he flung her into the air, causing a chain reaction that tore down the city walls. Amidst the chaos, Alidia was knocked off balance and pushed off the turtle by the other guy.
-U4: Try to not be stomped, okay?
-Alidia: Crap! I curse you!
As she struggled to stay afloat, Frenia desperately tried to avoid the turtle's appendages, only to be caught in its erratic movements. The turtle, driven by fear and confusion, unknowingly trapped Alidia beneath its massive feet. Meanwhile, as Luyira approached the plaza in a fit of rage, she failed to notice the impending danger. It was only when the guy stopped her in her tracks, holding her close and whispering softly in her ear, that she realized the gravity of the situation.
-Unknown 2: Look around you!
-Carlos: Luy? it is you Luy?
-Luyira: Carlos?
Luyira's anger dissipated as she surveyed the destruction of the once-improved command center. Marceline stood valiantly against a horde of beasts, fiercely guarding the unconscious Lasui and Sasari. Nearby, a wounded and bleeding Carlos, who was protecting Sakura with his body, her lifeless form lying motionless. With one arm missing, Carlos cried out to Luyira, begging her to save Sakura, his beloved. His desperate plea was a jarring realization for Luyira, who had unknowingly been aiding the enemy.
As she struggled against the one holding her, he released her and spoke casually, revealing that he had orders not to harm her or the boy. Mocking her loss and the pain of losing friends, he taunted her cruelly. In a moment of silent contemplation, Luyira lower her face, and start to tremple, her enemy was enjoying the moment when she raise her face once again this time her eyes glow red and yellow with a expression of anger beyond measure, disappeared into thin air, Marceline who was collapse in exhaustion fell into her knees, the beasts attack her but a strange sound it is hear. The sudden disappearance startled the unknown figure, as a cannon materialized out of nowhere and the beasts becoming ashes in the air. Panic erupted among the enemies as they realized the tables had turned. "RETREAT!" they shouted, fleeing from the unexpected turn of events.
At the precise moment when the four figures vanished into thin air, just as a plasma attack was seconds away from reaching the lone figure Luyira was fiercely battling, disintegrating the buildings and rubble in its wake, a chilling scream pierced the air. Everyone - beasts, humans, and demi-humans alike - was frozen in place, sensing the aura of murder and anger emanating from Luyira. Tentacles sprouted from her back, coalescing into a massive plasma cannon.
-Frenia: Wait here I am still over it! ohh shit, shit, shit.
A scream that froze everyone, beasts, humans and demi humans alike, was hear from Luyira, an Aura of Murder and Anger was around her, from the back of her, tentacles started to form a huge plasma cannon.
-Frenia: Wait here I am still over it! ohh shit, shit, shit.
Frenia leaped gracefully from the back of the turtle, landing flawlessly on the ground. As she descended, three swift attacks pierced the enormous creature, creating three gaping holes in its body. The head of the turtle was obliterated, and blood poured from the wounds as the rest of the body collapsed with a resounding thud that shook the earth beneath them. The impact sent the body skidding towards the southern edge of the city.
Frenia herself was thrown into a nearby building by the force of the fall, but she quickly sprang back into action, just in time to witness the charging of Luyira's mighty cannon. With a single word from Luyira, the cannon unleashed its powerful energy in a straight, unrelenting shot. This attack was a manifestation of Luyira's unique ability, a formidable power that could strike a mountain with ease. The bolt of energy raced towards its target with unstoppable speed, leaving no chance for the fallen turtle to evade its destructive force. The brilliance of the cannon's discharge was blinding, causing many to shield their eyes and turn away. The deafening roar of the cannon reverberated through the air as the shot tore through the sky, shattering the clouds and revealing the azure expanse beyond. The once overcast sky was now clear and bright, with the sun breaking through to light up the city below. Only half of the turtle's body remained visible, a grim reminder of the awe-inspiring display of power that had just unfolded. The onlookers stood in stunned silence, their amazement palpable as even the ferocious beasts seemed to falter in their resolve to fight. It was a sight unlike any they had seen before, a testament to the extraordinary abilities at play in this extraordinary encounter
Luyira’s solemn declaration echoes through the chaotic scene.
-Luyira: No one shall perish under my watch! Her ethereal tentacles stretch out from her back, weaving a mesmerizing dance as they envelop Sakura, Carlos, Lasui, Marceline, Sasari, and Javier. With a graceful wave of her tentacles, the vehicle was effortlessly lifted, unveiling Arthur and Jessica, nestled safely within the protective cocoon of Francisco's embrace. In his arms, Francisco held his beloved Lizzie, who showed no intention of loosening her grip.
Confusion swirls as Arthur questions, “What is this madness?”
Francisco can only shake his head in bewilderment, “I am as clueless as you are, my King.”
In a mystifying display of power, Luyira strides towards the turtle’s body, her tentacles branching out across the city streets, buildings, and landscape. Some morph into scythes, others into some kind of futuristic laser guns, while additional tendrils sprout hands to carry the wounded to safety. A makeshift sanctuary emerges in the plaza as people are gently placed within, a container with a unknown liquid, even those who have suffered loss of limbs miraculously regrow them in a matter of heartbeats. An awe-inspiring transformation unfolds as hope is restored amidst the chaos.
The creatures are being torn apart by Luyira's tentacles and attacks, their overwhelming numbers decreasing. The beasts are so frightened that none move; it is a slaughter. The soldiers only observe as the tentacles pass before them, creating a gruesome scene with the beasts and absorbing their remains and bodies.
-Sakura: Where am I? What is this situation?
-Carlos: We were inside that container just moments ago.
-Sakura: Your arm! Carlos, you protected me but lost your arm.
-Carlos: Here it is.
-Sakura: What! But I saw it!
-Carlos: And you saw correctly; I lost an arm. It appears to regrow, similar to Mary's healing powers. Even individuals who are cut in half are being brought back to life.
-Arthur: Mary once mentioned that if someone breathes, she is able to heal them. However, this exceeds my imagination. She is saving us all; although, I noticed at least six individuals disappear in the tank. I assume they were breathing when they were taken, but unfortunately, they did not survive in the end.
-Francisco: The dead ones, they did not resist the pain of stay alive, the very shock kill them, their bodies were growing back but in a few moments stop and disappear .
-Arthur: How can you be sure?
-Francisco: Because I witnessed it. I believe they simply ceased to exist, their essence absorbed by that mysterious fluid in the tank.
In the chaos of the city once again her voice can be heard clear, loud, imposing a pressure.
In the chaos of the city once again, her voice can be heard clearly, loud, imposing pressure.
Luyira shouted, "EVERYONE ALIVE, IN HERE, NOW!"
Her voice sounded more like a roar than a sentence, but everyone obeyed. Those who were outside the container went in, and the beasts were scared to death. Those who could no longer fight felt Luyira's power reaching them, healing their wounds, and some even regained the ability to use their legs.
-Michi: She is using the beasts to heal us. Look, she is absorbing that turtle now. I can barely move, her bloodlust is incredible, but I feel so warm when her tentacles touch me. Not even my mother's embrace makes me feel that safe.
-Javier: I don't know, this scene feels wrong. I shouldn't feel happy watching her tear apart the beasts to keep our people alive.
-Sasari: She is an angel, the only one who can save us all.
-Lasui: She is a goddess, the crimson goddess. She brings hell to the sinners and paradise to the believers!
Lasui continued, "PRAISE THE CRIMSON GODDESS! THE CRIMSON GODDESS IS OUR SAVIOR!
Arthur stood in awe, watching as the tentacles continued to bring people closer and closer. Each figure in the distance seemed like a small miracle unfolding before his eyes. Frenia's voice cut through his thoughts.
-Frenia: You see it too, don't you?
Arthur jumped in surprise.
-ARthur: Holy heavens, Frenia! You scared the life out of me, but yes, I do see it. How could anyone not notice?
Frenia's eyes were fixed on the scene unfolding before them.
-Frenia: A Retter Messiah, killing effortlessly. I tried countless times, consumed by the same anger as that girl with the only result of feel frustration and powerless. But now, she stands alone, effortlessly cleaning the place. And those things growing from her... Neither Mary nor I have ever seen anything like it before. It's... not quite right, but I can't say it's wrong either.
-Sakura: But Luy is Luy. She will always be who she is. Where is Aido? The only thing that can make her truly angry is not being by his side.
-Francisco: You're right. Where is Aido? We need him now more than ever!
Lizzie gave a subtle nod in agreement to Francisco's suggestion, her eyes never leaving his form as she stood there silently, a reflection of the sentiments shared by those gathered around them. Arthur spoke up, voicing his concern.
-Arthur: We can't just leave her alone. If she manages to eliminate all the beasts, who knows how she'll react next!
-Frenia:I highly doubt she would harm us. We must find Dia to help her regain her composure.
Sakura took charge, beckoning the group to follow her.
-Sakura: Siganme los Valientes!
As they followed the trail left by Luyira, tentacles emerged and began to sway in various directions, guiding them back to the source. The group carefully avoided stepping on them, looking how they are connected to structures of mechanical design, some looks like robotic arms like the ones androids in the capital have, others are like weapony, all connected by tubular cables and tentacles as thick as a treet truck o as small as a hairwire, and after a few tense moments, they caught sight of Luyira and Alidia in the distance.
Alidia gently whispered.
-Alidia: Breathe in slowly, let it out, little by little.
Luyira's eyes burned with anger as she declared.
-Luyira: I must find him, I want to destroy them all!
-Alidia: He is safe with Destroyer, we will find him. I am here, remain calm.
The group communicated with gestures, allowing Alidia to pacify Luyira's fury. The tentacles behind her receded slowly, as though retreating to their rightful place. Sakura, known for her boldness, approached Luyira cautiously this time.
-Sakura: I'm here to help. Tell me what to do.
She offered. Alidia acknowledged Sakura but insisted.
-Alidia: Let's check on the others first.
Tears streamed down Luyira's face as she frantically searched for Aido. Alidia tried to comfort her, making her meet her gaze and offering a smile. Luyira embraced her mother tightly before resuming her search for Aido. In a trembling voice, Luyira confessed.
-Luyira: I'm scared, Mom, really scared.
Alidia held her close, speaking softly.
-Alidia: It's okay to be scared, but remember, Sakura and I are here for you.
Upon their return to the Plaza, a blanket of silence envelops the area. The soldiers meander through the city streets at a leisurely pace, a mixture of emotions swirling within them. They rejoice in their survival yet grapple with the weight of the harrowing scene they have just witnessed. Despite the stains of blood on their uniforms, a sense of victory lingers in the air as they realize that everyone has made it out alive, or nearly everyone. In an exchange of glances, Francisco breaks the silence, his voice soft but determined, "Where is Marceline?".
-Sakura: She's over there with Arthur, tending to those rescued from the containers.
As the group contemplates their success, Javier interjects with a note of gratitude.
-Javier: We owe a debt to Luyira and her mother. Without their help, I'm not sure we would have prevailed, but...
Michi's thoughts drift to a different concern.
-Michi: We must find Aido. Luyira's heart will ache at the thought of being separated from him for an extended period.
The demi-human has grown cautious of Luyira's anger, yet also feels compelled to fulfill her desires, akin to a mother who endeavours to please her deeply cherished child. His mindset has shifted, and he is not alone in this sentiment; it appears that Lasui and several others share the same feelings. The Plaza, previously a site of conflict, now serves as a symbol of the determination and solidarity of those who battled to safeguard it.
Frenia knew their priority was to protect their people before searching for him. The outcome was clear, even without the aid of machines or recounts - they had lost a significant number of their comrades. Half of the demi-humans and many of the city's hunters, especially those manning the cannons, were among the casualties. Jessica reminded them all of their duty to the city. Though their family was safe for now, they needed to regroup and reorganize, even as she yearned to find him. Brainstorming a plan, Frenia suggested sending some people to the northeast, believing that if he was alive, that's where he would be. The only hitch was their lack of flying capability. Turning to the demi-humans for help seemed like the only option, but without a trail to follow, finding him would be like searching for a needle in a haystack
-Sakura: Luyira has successfully neutralized the threat of the tentacles that had encroached upon her. She is not even aware of how she accomplished this feat. Some structures remain, such as the containers which still seem to be working until they run out of energy, and some robotic arms; the rest disappear into her. She keeps repeating her determination to save everyone before pursuing Aido, as his reaction would likely be one of sadness or anger. It is evident that she is deeply attached to him, displaying a combination of intense love and fixation. I believe we should allow her to pursue him
-Carlos: Having known her well, this is the first time I have felt genuine concern about her anger. While I am elated by her actions, I am also awestruck by the immense power she displayed when she swiftly eradicated a vast army of enemies and a seemingly invincible adversary. Despite my joy, I still find myself trembling at the memory of the event.
-Alidia: I concur with Carlos. As someone who is intimately familiar with Luyira, I can attest that although she appears composed now, her physical and mental state are undoubtedly strained. She requires rest, and it would be unwise to expect her to perform another miraculous feat in the near future.
-Frenia: This extraordinary ability is unprecedented; not even Mary possesses the capability to heal at such speed or manifest tentacles. Both of us are aware of our limitations, even when it comes to our own healing abilities. The power demonstrated by that individual is beyond the norm.
-Alidia: I concur, witnessing her abilities, it is clear she is undergoing a transformation.
-Lasui: She is to be revered as a deity, the crimson goddess, delivering punishment to the sinners and rewards to the faithful.
-Sasari: Indeed, her extraordinary talents are awe-inspiring, and it is apparent that she requires the presence and support of her spouse, her equal.
-Alidia: I, too, feel the urgency to locate him, but I must exercise caution and prudence, as it appears our adversaries have plans for him. Though physical harm might be a discarted, it is a risk we must consider and prepare for.
Arthur was determined to put together a team for the rescue mission. As he pondered, Luyira appeared before the group with a somber expression on her face.
-Luyira: "I need your most skilled demi-human scouts and trackers", she said firmly. "I am going. Please provide me with a radio as well."
-Arthur: Of course, bring Nerisse and Daisy. Michi, follow her lead. Alidia, as our general, you must remain here."
-Alidia: I will stay behind. I have faith in your abilities to find him. I must also keep a watchful eye on the people you have already saved.
Frenia spoke up, expressing her desire to join the rescue mission.
-Frenia: I want to go too, but I am concerned about the mysterious man in the hood.
-Arthur: Which man?
-Alidia: We will explain later. For now, it's best to send my daughter to locate our beloved.
A transformation swept over Luyira's face, a sense of determination filling her being. She knew she would soon be reunited with Aido, the one she had never been separated from since the day she opened her eyes. With a smile on her lips, she embraced her mother, planted a kiss on her cheek, and proceeded to where the demi-humans were gathering, ready to embark on the mission ahead.
-Jessica: Lasui, I understand that you are excited, but it is essential to exercise caution. While wordshipping can have positive effects, it can also have negative consequences.
-Alidia: Following this, my daughter is poised to achieve fame beyond what we imagined. Lasui, utilizing words can effectively mitigate any fears others may have of her.
-Francisco: I agree with your points. However, if we choose to implement wordshipping, it would be prudent to assign a specific word to represent her power. This could assist us in maintaining control over the populace. Something like "Creaton Magic." At least the tentacles have a mechanical appearance, resembling tubular machines. If they were made of flesh, even I would be shivering when they embrace me.
-Arthur: They are so many questions now, Retter messiah are that powerful? all are? only she is? Aido it is even more powerful than her? She is shining too brigh that we are only getting blind.
-Frenia: Dont look at me, Arthur, you know me since you were a child and I never did something like that, even though I wish I had, the 2 Armadantoise I fought before were smaller, but still killed a lot of my people.
-Jessica: I think that is the point, Luyira was really angry, so she release all her power, now that she calmed down is going to be fine.
-Javier: In her anger, there was a hidden layer of fear - the crippling fear of losing her beloved, the dread of never laying eyes on him again. Alidia: Her love for him surpasses all bounds, a sentiment I can truly grasp and empathize with.
-Sakura: I feel the same way; I would go to the ends of the earth for Carlos, or any member of our tight-knit group.
Nerisse made her way to the group as she prepared to depart with Luyira.
-Nerisse: Our journey takes us towards the Fertilze zone path of the Northeast, armed with invaluable maps retrieved from the Radio outpost, featuring marked nests and key trails frequented by our elusive targets. Luyira initially proposed to carry us with her tentacles, but wisdom prevailed, and we decided it was best for her to remain nimble on her feet to aid in our quest. I recommend that some of you follow us in pairs of vehicles, as the radio signals are now stable. However, should we lose contact, I prefer to dispatch a small team back to deliver updates. Departure time is imminent - we're on the verge of setting forth.
-Jessica: That's a good point to keep us informed. So It appears that she is capable of controlling the tentacle-like appendages.
-Alidia: It appears so, however, I am uncertain if she can exercise the same level of control as she demonstrated in battle. It seems that while she can manage a few, she is not entirely accustomed to it. Therefore, we should be prepared to assist her if necessary.
-Arthur: The situation is rapidly evolving. In the case of Mary, it took months for her to gain the ability to fly. Additionally, the regeneration of a limb or appendage took Mary weeks, whereas Luyira achieved it in a matter of seconds, with minimal discomfort. Some individuals even displayed the ability to regenerate nearly an entire body. They are currently under observation as it appears that, as Francisco predicted, they are experiencing some mental distress, despite their bodies remaining stable.
As Frenia gazed at her hands, a glimmer of wonder crept into her mind, pondering if she too possessed the gift of healing. Two out of the three Retter Messiah were already known for their miraculous abilities, and she couldn't help but aspire to join their ranks. However, she realized that her true calling lay in a different path - that of a courageous warrior. Her heart yearned to grow even stronger, to protect the city by facing its threats head-on. With a solemn determination, Frenia vowed to fight for her home until her very last breath. Meanwhile, Luyira's departure from the city was met with a sense of anticipation and hope. With a beaming smile, she set off alongside Nerisse and the other demi-humans, eager to reunite with Aido. The faint tremors of the city's recent turmoil still lingered, but the people watch her departure with gratitude in their hearts, feeling safe and secure once more. The scene was set for a journey of courage, determination, and unwavering resolve as these individuals embarked on their own quests, each playing a vital role in the tapestry of their intertwined fates.
