Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The God Declares War
Scene 1: The Broadcast
Flicker. Static. The world held its breath.
Suddenly, across every screen, from televisions to smartphones to digital billboards, Arin's face appeared. The image flickered to life, dark and ominous. A faint, pulsing red light illuminated his features, casting shadows that deepened the coldness in his eyes. He stood there, unblinking, as though the world itself were at his mercy.
Arin (calmly):
"People of the world… Listen well."
The weight of his voice pressed down like a vice. The stillness in the air was suffocating, and every viewer—whether watching from a home, a crowded street, or a military base—felt it. For a moment, nothing moved, nothing made a sound. Then his voice rang out again.
Arin (slowly, deliberately):
"I am Arin.
I have no surname, because I am the only one.
The god of this new world."
Fear rippled through the air. Whispers filled the crowds gathered around public screens. Soldiers halted in their tracks. The air was thick with disbelief and terror. The broadcast didn't stop—it consumed every frequency, reaching every corner of the globe.
Arin (cont'd):
"Your leaders cower behind their armies, thinking they can protect you. They can't. They believe their walls of steel and concrete can shield them from me. They are mistaken."
He stepped closer to the camera, his eyes flashing with a chilling promise. The shadows seemed to writhe around him, amplifying his cold intensity.
Arin (cont'd):
"Look around you. The world you think you know? It is fragile. I hold its heart in my hands."
The camera zoomed in on his eyes—unblinking, cold, calculating. The silence deepened, as if time itself had frozen.
Arin (cont'd):
"Do you feel that? That cold sweat creeping down your spine? That's fear. Your fear. Fear that I control everything.
I have 10,000 nuclear warheads planted in every major city across the globe.
Yes. Every single one. New York. Tokyo. Paris. Moscow. London. New Delhi. None of you are safe."
Gasps echoed from every screen. Panic spread like wildfire. People screamed, some ran for cover, others huddled together in disbelief. The sense of helplessness grew unbearable.
Arin (cont'd):
"Even now, my soldiers walk your streets. They sit in your cafes, sleep in your beds, and while you slumber, they planted bombs beneath you. Do you hear that ticking? No? That's because there is no ticking. No warning. No mercy."
He leaned in closer, his face filling every screen, his voice suddenly lowering to a chilling whisper, yet it felt louder than ever before.
Arin (whispering):
"If you think you can challenge me, remember this: If I cannot rule this world, then no one will."
The camera zoomed out, showing Arin in all his terrifying majesty, standing alone at the center of the world.
Arin (final words):
"This is my world now. Live in it… or perish with it."
The screen flickered to black. Then, static. Then, complete silence.

Scene 2: The World Leaders' Conference
(Deep underground, in a secure military bunker, the world's top leaders gathered. The room was tense, suffocating with anxiety. Presidents, prime ministers, generals, and military advisors from 96 countries sat around a circular table, their faces pale. The air was thick with fear and uncertainty.)
President Raul (Okama):
"This is madness! He's bluffing! There's no way he could have planted 10,000 warheads without us noticing! It's impossible!"
President Wale (Eton) (eyes cold, voice low):
"Are you willing to bet your country on that, Raul?"
Silence. Raul's face reddened with frustration, but there was no denying the sinking feeling in his gut. No one spoke for what felt like an eternity.
General Kovacs (Baton):
"This isn't just about Arin's power. It's his army. 250 million soldiers, hidden in plain sight. They control every illegal trade—the global black market, drugs, weapons, human trafficking—they run it all."
President Tanaka (Readon) (eyes grim):
"And they're everywhere. In every city. Every country. If even a fraction of his claims are true, then our capitals could be obliterated with a single command."
President Raul (Okama) (rising from his seat, voice shaking):
"We have the strength to fight back! A combined force of 100 million soldiers! We strike now, while we still can!"
General Morales (Waston) (shaking his head):
"Where do you propose we strike, Raul? He controls entire countries with fortified cities, thousands of them. Even if we mobilized everything, we'd be crushed before we even made it to the battlefield. We're fighting shadows, Raul. His soldiers are everywhere."
A heavy silence fell over the room. Despair hung in the air like a storm waiting to break.
President Wale (Eton) (voice steady, but urgent):
"There's one person who can help us."
All eyes turned to him. Whispers filled the room.
President Raul (Okama):
"Who?"
President Wale (Eton) (eyes narrowing):
"Suruchi."
The room went still. The name was spoken in hushed tones, a mixture of fear and reverence.
President Raul (Okama) (scoffing):
"Suruchi? The masked ghost? You want us to trust a legend?"
President Tanaka (Readon) (voice hard as steel):
"Do you have a better plan, Raul? Suruchi is the only man who has ever come close to Arin's level. No one knows him better."
General Kovacs (Baton) (nodding gravely):
"Suruchi. A prodigy, a strategist. A monster in combat. He's as much a myth as Arin. But if there's anyone who could outthink him, it's Suruchi."
President Raul (Okama) (shaking his head):
"You want to gamble our entire world on the whims of a man we've never even seen?"
General Morales (Waston) (sharply):
"Then you can fight Arin on your own, Raul. The rest of us are calling Suruchi."
Raul opened his mouth, but no words came. He slumped back into his chair, defeated, his grip tightening on the edge of the table.

Scene 3: Suruchi Arrives
(Outside, the air was thick with mist. A stealth helicopter descended, blades slicing through the fog. Soldiers snapped to attention as it landed. They had heard the rumors, the legends. Suruchi was real—and he had arrived.)
The hatch opened, releasing a gust of fog and dust. Out stepped a figure cloaked in black, his face obscured by a half-white, half-black mask. Every step he took felt heavy, purposeful, as if the very ground beneath him feared him.
Soldier 1 (whispering):
"That's him. Suruchi."
Soldier 2 (whispering, voice trembling):
"He's here to lead the counterattack."
Soldier 1 (whispering):
"Some say he's smarter than Arin. Stronger too."
The soldiers stiffened as Suruchi walked past them. His presence was overwhelming, like a shadow cast over them all.
General Morales (Waston) (approaching, voice respectful):
"Suruchi. We've been waiting for you."
Suruchi didn't respond immediately. His gaze was fixed on the large map displayed on the monitor, showing Arin's reach. Every red dot represented a potential target.
General Morales (cont'd):
"Arin controls 10,000 nuclear warheads. 250 million soldiers. He dominates the global black market. We have 100 million soldiers, but there's no way to strike without risking total destruction."
Suruchi's voice was a calm, chilling whisper.
Suruchi (coldly):
"You're wrong."
General Morales (Waston) (confused):
"Wrong?"
Suruchi (looking up, eyes piercing):
"We have something stronger than soldiers."
The room fell into complete silence, waiting for him to continue.
Suruchi (leaning forward, eyes unblinking):
"We have fear. His soldiers fear him more than they fear us. We don't need to fight him directly.
Turn his fear against him.
If you can't win them over, break them."
Suruchi's finger pointed at the red dots on the map.
Suruchi (cont'd):
"To kill a god, you must first break his apostles."
The room was still. No one spoke, but every leader knew—this was the only chance they had.
