Shitou’s eyes gleamed. With a ‘ptui-ptui’ sound, spitting into his palms twice, and rubbing them together as if getting ready for a treasure hunt.

Little Twelve and Little Thirteen, two small figures darted out from the room and ran straight to the two large wood boxes. Each opened one box.

The curiosity of the crowd of youngsters was piqued; they approached, laughing and chatting eagerly.
One box was neatly filled with gold ingots, the other contained treasured calligraphy and paintings, antique jades.
Lin Yixuan stretched into the box and brought out a flower-scrolling lotus-eight-treasures wrapped box, ran to his sister, and beaming, thrust it into his sister’s hands.
“Sister, this box is beautiful. Keep it for yourself.”
“Alright, Yixuan is so well-behaved, always thinking of Sister for any nice things.”
Lin Qingluo received the box with much joy, patting his head affectionately.

Lin Yixuan was very delighted, fully enjoying his sister’s affection.

Shitou also grabbed a painting, unfolding it in front of everyone with a serious face for appraisal.
