In an unknown location, inside the ancient building, the Ancient Councils clan sat with solemn expressions.

"Who can tell me what the hell is going on?" An old man asked with a grave voice.

"Why are you asking us? We're all as clueless as you," an old woman responded.

"What I want to know is, the attack, is it from a man or a heavenly punishment?" Another old man asked.

When they heard this, every one of them sucked in a cold breath. They prided themselves as the strongest entity in the land, but the magnitude of the previous attack made them realize; perhaps, there was a being more powerful than them.

They did not want to believe it, but a power that could destroy a whole prefecture was something unheard of in the history of their world.

Even when the Bloodmoon Envoys arrived, none wielded such terrifying power.

With none of them having the right answer to this mysterious entity, they turned their heads to look at the unfathomable being covered in a powerful mist.

If someone was going to have an answer, it would be it.

"The world is changing and the Lotus World providence is increasing at a rapid rate," an eerily cold, genderless voice came from the dark mist.

"If you don't want to be destroyed along with this world, you must eradicate the barren land immediately."

"The fate of the world has changed. The Bloodmoon Envoy would arrive earlier than the expected date."

When all the council heard this, a sudden chill ran down their spines. They sucked in a cold breath and disappeared from their seats.

Previously, they were trying to destroy the barren land without eradicating the empire and her people.

But now, they did not have such luxury. They would rather let it burn to crisps than let all their hard work for the past couple of centuries go down the drain.

"Die! Human!" A malevolent woman's voice hissed through the forest, filled with rage.

It was the voice of the Abyssal Viper Queen.

She was the queen of the Viper Forest, located between three prefectures.

Since Zimo received the order to destroy all the dangerous beasts in the Gray Pagoda state, his team had been on a killing rampage.

Standing at the back of Grade-3 Thunderbird, Zimo would survey each forest and when he detected any presence above Grade-2 Beast, he would kill them without batting an eye.

Now, he was fighting the Abyssal Viper Queen.

The Abyssal Viper Queen was over one thousand meters with purple and black scales. Its two yellow orb eyes gleamed menacingly on Zimo and his team as they killed her children.

The Viper Forest was dominated by her children. It was a forest filled with various kinds of vipers.

Previously, this had been a dead zone for the inhabitants of the state, but now, it was not the case.

Zimo ignored the Abyssal Viper Queen's poison attack and swung his sword diagonally.

A miserable scream escaped from the Abyssal Viper Queen as it was sent flying with a deep gash on its belly.

The Viper Queen was fearsome for its corrosive poison. But now, its greatest weapon proved futile against Zimo and his men.

Each of them was adorned with a powerful suit without any space for the corrosive poison to penetrate.

This was one of the newly advanced suits made in the Suit Department.

It was made of Grade-2 special metal. It was flexible and sturdy enough to withstand a powerful Grade-4 Beast attack.

Thus, with such a suit, the fate of the Abyssal Viper Queen had been sealed.

Five minutes later, the Abyssal Viper Queen was killed, and a Spirit Plane appeared over the forest.

In the Spirit Plane were teams in charge of handling various beast parts.

Also, all the various prefecture Lords had returned to their domains, and they all came forward to put the minds of the people at peace.

The following days turned into a construction frenzy. Every city and town had a building dedicated to the Celestial Heavenly Store.

Quickly, everyone rushed to get the artifact that would allow them to communicate with their friends and family while also allowing them to send and view their images.

While they were still clamoring about the Spirit Comms novelty, the mass recruitment began, and one of the benefits was the Spirit Comms.

In a single day, over one hundred thousand people applied for the work.

The life of ordinary people in the 36th state had been worse in recent years. Many died of hunger every day.

But now, a new power was offering them shelter, food, and the new artifact. How could they not be overwhelmed and join in multitude?

In five days, many sentry towers had been constructed almost at every corner of the Gray Pagoda state.
