Chapter 75: Creating A Guild
-----
Paul glanced at the system notifications as they came one after another. Not only did he immediately decide to use the guild creation item, but he didn’t even take time to give it a cool-sounding, albeit not-so-original, name.
[You have used the [Guild Creation Certificate (S+ Grade)] x1!]
[You have created a Guild! Please input a Guild Name and the Players you wish to invite.]
[Character Privilege: Because your Avatar is within a certain range of Privilege as someone of importance, you’ve given the option to also invite NPC to your Guild.]
[You have named your Guild {Crimson Moon Empire}!]
[Your Guild is currently Level 1; you can only have a maximum of 5 Members.]
[Once at least one member has been added to your Guild, you’ll be able to unlock the ability to Take Over Territories and Improve the Skill Skills by choosing a building as a Guild Headquarters.]
[Which NPC or Player do you wish to invite? Invitations cannot forcefully make someone join.]
There was also another thing, a “Character Privilege” perhaps because his Avatar was Vlad, a Vampire Prince belonging to nobility of one of the largest Empires of the Realm, he had special privileges when making a guild.
Maybe to compensate, he had so many flaws, considering 70% of his stats were reduced, he couldn’t walk more than three steps, and unlike all other Players he was unable to revive if killed. A single death meant game over and having to wait months to be able to make another Avatar.
Therefore, with all these annoying penalties, he expected that the game would also balance out by giving him special privileges other players lack.
It was rather obvious, as he had expected such a thing and didn’t act as surprised when he was shown he could also recruit NPCs into his guild.
He definitely wanted to recruit Camilla and Teressa, but both were sleeping right now, so that wasn’t possible for the time being.
So he sent an invite to the one that could answer immediately, Chris.
As he sent the invite, it quickly got…
Rejected.
“Wait, what?”
Paul felt a bit annoyed, and then he received a private chat message.
[Alitheus: Hey, come over here and help me first before you start making guilds! That Queenie Vixen doesn’t leave me a second alone! And she’s surrounded by weirdos that keep calling me hot! Help meeee!]
“Ah.”
Vlad quickly created wings made of blood and flew into the skies, using these wings to help him fly faster while the Spell Soar allowed him to fly faster.
“So what do you think about the current fanbase of the game and what the new updates entail, Alitheus? Any opinions on the game balance or perhaps the classes? Oh, I also got a super chat asking what you’re wearing beneath your shorts!”
The succubus girl was constantly annoying Chris, who looked clearly tired.
“Can’t they stop asking dumb questions? Why do you let degenerates join your streams, Queenie?” Alitheus was already growing tired. "Also, I just play the game! I don’t even think about all those intricacies. I think only losers begin making whole forums about what’s “optimal” or whatever!”
“Hahaha! I love your honesty! Everyone loves it!” LadyQueenie however, wasn’t intimidated by Chris' words and constantly laughed, thinking he was joking or something.
“Ugeh, she’s fucking delusional…” Chris thought, his eyes widening as he saw Vlad approaching. “Vlad!”
“Alitheus.”
Vlad descended from the sky, and Queenie and her fans cheered the moment the “hero” finally showed up.
“And here we have him, ladies and gentlemen! Our hero! The vampire Prince Vlad! Everyone has been dying for an interview with you!”
Queenie flew towards Vlad the moment she saw him appear, beginning to ask many questions.
Vlad couldn’t really have the patience to bear with this person.
But he also knew that not answering some would only make things worse.
He wanted allies in the future anyway; undying players were a good force without a doubt.
So keeping them entertained should be a priority even though… It was really cringeworthy and completely not his thing to do.
“Ah, yes, that’s me,” said Vlad. “I wanted to thank you and the rest of the players for helping us out… I really thought it was over, but you guys showed up and really saved this city. Thank you.”
“Oooh! Aren’t you grateful?” giggled Queenie. “Well, don’t worry about that; everyone acted mostly on their own selfish reasons; they wanted points and went merrily and happily to harvest them! Nonetheless, can you at least answer three questions? I know you’re in a hurry!”
“Sure, it’s fine,” Vlad nodded. “It’s the least I could do for everyone.”
“Aww! Aren’t you nice!” giggled Queenie. "Okay, this is the first question everyone has been wondering! How can you make a Pure-Blooded Vampire Avatar like yours?! And also one that’s a member of royalty? Some Players have managed to create avatars within very minor and forgotten nobility families, but you’re a direct son of the Vampire Emperor! How?!”
“Ah, obviously this cannot be made normally,” said Vlad. “I was able to secure this Avatar by using the Randomize option. As it is often said, when you click that option, there’s a chance to get races, professions, and even backgrounds that aren’t available in the normal customizable way. But it’s all at random.”
“Wait, what?! So that’s the secret! I had no idea!” Queenie said. “So you’re saying you just got super lucky?!”
“Yep, I’m afraid,” nodded Vlad. “Though not everything is nice, I mean, this city is really small and gets attacked every day by some sort of random threat. It’s not easy to be in my position, and I lack the freedom other players have.”
"Oh, that’s too bad, but I bet the benefits outweigh the flaws…” said Queenie. “Alright, second question! If you don’t know, you’ve got quite the huge fan club! The second most commonly asked question is if you’ve got any girlfriend slash boyfriend!”
“Ah?!” Vlad felt surprised he was asked such a thing. “Uh… I mean… I would prefer not to disclose my personal relationships, sorry.”
“Ahhh! That’s too bad! Okay, fine… We’re not going to force you to say anything you want, bud!” Queenie giggled, winking at the camera. “Okay then, third and last question… What exactly is your class and build like? Everyone is always praising how amazingly strong you are! What’s your secret?!”
“You’re asking me such a thing, knowing full well it’s a secret…” Vlad facepalmed. “I can’t really say anything regarding that; they’re my secrets after all. But at least I can tell you that the boost of power I can gain is related to a Trait I gained randomly. By the way, people that choose the randomized avatar also get a compensation ticket that can manifest in traits, items, or even new skills. I happened to get something really good from that.”
“Whaaat? You heard that, guys? So in exchange for some customization, you could get a good kickstart ahead of the rest! Pretty interesting for hardcore gamers that don’t care about how their avatars look!”
"Yeah, and that’s about it,” said Vlad. “Alitheus, let’s go.”
“Ah yeah, thanks…” Alitheus nodded.
“Wait, there’s another fourth question! Waaait!”
However, as the two were flying away, Queenie annoyed them again.
“W-What now?!” Alitheus asked.
“A lot of viewers are asking when your next video is popping up!” said Queenie. “I’ve heard that even people that don’t play the game are always watching your videos!”
“Aaah,” Chris felt surprised it was just that. “Well, I think the next video might be up in the following days… Maybe tomorrow or past tomorrow, perhaps. I do all the editing, so it depends on my work speed.”
“Oh nice! Well, you heard that, guys! Say bye to Alitheus and Vlad! This was such a wonderful interview with the stars of FSO!” said Queenie, as she waved her hand at the two flying players as they disappeared from her sight.
Finally back to Vlad’s home, Chris sighed in relief, resting over Vlad’s bed while throwing away his boots.
“Ugh, I can’t believe an in-game avatar would feel tired; this kind of beats the purpose of it all, doesn’t it?!” he complained. “Anyways, you talked a lot! Why even bother so much?”
“I thought you were the talkative one?” asked Paul. “I was simply entertaining them; we might need their help later. I don’t want to make enemies of players.”
“Ah, I guess… I just disliked the weirdos,” sighed Chris. “I had no idea we had freaking fans already. Seriously, people are so dumb and stupid…”
“Hahah, well, why didn’t you accept the guild invitation?” Vlad asked.
“I’ll do it now; I just felt it was stupid for you to send one when I was in a pickle while you were having a nice time in your room,” Chris said, pressing [YES]
Ding!
[Player: Alitheus] has accepted your Guild Invitation!]
[Aside from you, your Guild has finally gained a member!]
[The Guild Management Window will be unlocked once you can choose a Building for its headquarters.]
“Now we need to choose a building…” said Vlad. “Ah… Can I change the building later if I want?”
[It is possible to change the building later on; however, a fee of Credits will be needed to be paid every time you change the building; this fee will increase every time you do.]
“So I can! Okay then, let’s choose this house.”
Ding!
[You are one of the owners of this house; therefore, you have been granted permission to use it as a headquarters for your Guild.]
[The Guild Management Window has been finally unlocked! You can now manage your Guild Level, Guild Skills, Guild Members, Stats, and more.]

[You can gain Guild Contribution by donating Credits directly to the Guild or by slaying Bosses and Participating in Raids with all guild member parties.]
[Guild Wards can also give larger quantities of Guild Contribution alongside Special Items to Upgrade and Learn new Guild Skills.]
“Okay, we’re done with this… I could probably invest some Credits into leveling the guild right away, but I don’t particularly care about this aspect yet… The Territory Management System is more important.”
Vlad quickly grabbed the [Territory Ownership Flag] and planted it at the top of the manor.
FLASH!
The moment it was planted, it spread a shockwave of crimson light everywhere, which only lasted about a split second before dissipating.
However, the red light had turned blue in the last few seconds, alongside the sound of an alarm echoing behind him, as if something had been "approved.”.
[You have used the [Territory Ownership Flag] to take over this territory!]
[Because you’re partially the owner of this land and you’ve received the permission of your mother, the Duchess, you have successfully claimed this entire city and its surrounding lands as your Guild’s Territory.]
[The Requirements have been met! You’ve unlocked the Territory Management Window. The Guild Territory section has been unlocked in the Guild Management Window as well.]
“Aha, there it is…”
