Chapter 2530: The Monster Inside The Chaotic Vessel

-----

A massive floating sea of black miasma flew through the skies of Skyfall, constantly twisting and growing with tentacles and red eyes, many would think this thing was some kind of Outer God-made object. However, it was the completely different. This wasn't even a living being, but a Miasmic Chaotic Construct created by the inhabitants of the Chaotic Plane.

Composed of endlessly shifting mass of matter and anti-matter, it created a massive space-faring vessel where these beings lived and moved through. They could easily get out of it by merely walking through its walls, and its interior was messy and strange, too bizarre for any other lifeform to even begin to understand.

And yet, as it chased a group of Gods that they desired to devour, the massive Chaotic Vessel split into two, another of its features, chasing both groups.

"I think it's working; these Mirror Clones are more useful than I thought for situations like these…!"

Tsukuyomi smiled, as he saw through the eyes of his Moon Mirror Clone, the rest of the gods in his party could do the same. While he successfully brought the Chaotic Vessel into the battlefield where the demons fought the galactic humans, his Moon Mirror Clones managed to divide the thing into two, as they lured the other part elsewhere.

The other part in specific, this area, was where Fate had predicted the human reinforcements would arrive, coming from the Astral Road directly. Several thousands of kilometers away, a massive mothership was flying nearby where the Galactic Humans are stationed.

Their reinforcements were massive, including another Titan Robot leading the rest of the pilots, which were an army of two hundred machines, several of them looking like much stronger, upgraded versions of machines built to fight demons in specific. "We can't let the humans regain their advantage now that their leader was taken down… We'll have to stop them in time!"

As Tsukuyomi was planning his great strategy, suddenly…

"L-Lord Tsukuyomi!"

One of the Mirror Clones of the goddess talked to his Mirror Clone, this power not only allowed them to create a clone of themselves but even split their minds into the clone for better control.

A miraculous power only possible by the Supreme God of the Moon and grandmaster of Mirror Magic, Tsukuyomi.

"What is it?"

"The Chaotic Vessel that is following our clones stopped moving, it is not chasing us anymore!"

"What?"

Tsukuyomi glanced behind, and indeed, the thing simply stopped moving forward, it was constantly swirling with black miasma everywhere.

"Something must have triggered it? Perhaps it sensed the humans and became aware of the danger?"

"I don't think that's it, our invaders have never shown to be afraid of one another… In fact, it could be said they're all incredibly arrogant and confident in their power."

"Then what could it be?"

The gods argued, as Tsukuyomi noticed that Chaotic Miasmic Beasts began pouring out of the vessel, it seemed whatever was controlling it decided it was better to hunt them down.

"They want a fight I guess, if we want to lure them out, we have to give it to them!" Tsukuyomi smiled, waving his Japanese-styled fan. "Let's begin then! We shall dispose of a few of these malefic monsters while we are at it, and then lure them to move."

"Can we do it in time?! The galactic humans are getting closer! We'll end up making them miss the whole thing altogether!"

"We can do it, have more faith! Release all your power! The Moon Mirror Clones can duplicate it with ease!"

The Gods nodded, unleashing flashy techniques and powerful elemental attacks. Three were Moon Gods that served Tsukuyomi directly, and two were Sun Gods that looked quite fierce.

Hundreds of beams of Moonlight, Blazing Explosions, Weapon-Shaped Elemental Projectiles, and more reached the Chaotic Miasmic Beasts, who exploded into pieces.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

They weren't as strong as other invaders, but they had the power of infecting all living beings like parasites, making them rather dangerous, even more due to their rapid multiplication.

The gods became more excited, regaining more hope within their hearts, the Miasmic beasts died quite easily, they weren't the strongest type around.

This caused the massive Chaotic Vessel to begin moving again…

RUMBLE!

As the massive thing began its course once more, suddenly…

FLUOSH!

Something else started coming from it.

"Huh?"

Tsukuyomi noticed the vessel stopped moving once more, as something large, gigantic, and metallic crawled from the miasmic, liquid and sludge-like floating vessel.

Giant sharp claws tore through its walls, and a long, giant body emerged. It resembled an humanoid insect of sorts, perhaps a huge mosquito, made of black steel, in the shape of some kind of knight-like aberration.

It had several mouths and eyes through its metal-like body, six enormous, long, and thin as needle arms and legs, with even longer fingers and claws.

Its head, shaped like the head of a mosquito, had two enormous glowing red eyes and a long needle with a sharp red tip.

Its wings spread out, almost fresh, beginning to gain red and purple colors, glowing brightly.

"SHYEEEEHHHH!"

It roared furiously into the skies and the world, the massive creature looked at Tsukuyomi with its sharp as blade eyes, and it began releasing a destructive aura that shattered space around it.

Yes, it shattered space by merely existing.

"W-What is that thing?!"

"It isn't a Miasmic Beast!"

"Is it a new type of creature?"

"YOU... GODS… WE… ARE… DONE… PLAYING… GAMESSSSSS!"

And it talked, glaring at the group of gods with fury and frustration, its sharp claws began moving, hitting each other and releasing metallic sounds.

"PREPARE TO DIEEEE!"

With a ferocious scream, the thing leaped into the skies, buzzing with its gigantic wings and reaching the Mirrored Gods in an instant.

CRAAASH!

Before Tsukuyomi could react, two gods were caught between its black claws, their clones instantly exploding into moonlight flames, a countermeasure against attackers to deal some last damage to them.

BOOOM! BOOOM!

"GRRHHH…?"

However, the thing's arms were fine, the purple flames were shaken away with a single movement of its claws, as the creature glared at Tsukuyomi with anger.

"WEAK!"
