Enemies Are All Nourishment for My Fungi

The moment she appeared on the city wall, she first dumped a massive amount of mud in the central square, blocking the enemy's path on the ground, then collected the enemy soldiers rushing toward her on the city wall into the Space.

After these two moves, when no more enemy soldiers were hopping around within sight, Ye Nai retracted the mud below and the enemy soldiers who had been smashed by the mud and were now unconscious.

She then stood coldly on the city wall, looking down at the panicked enemy soldiers sprinting out from the buildings, threw the mud once more, and then collected these anguished-faced enemy soldiers into the Space.

She carried out these actions painstakingly just to make the enemies suffer unbearably. Simply using spores to pull people into the Space would be like providing them with a merciful death, which would be letting them off too easily. The spores outside the Military Fortress sent back feedback; they had discovered hidden sentries set up around the perimeter.

Now that they were discovered they belonged to her, and this time, none escaped. Each spore represented an extension of her body and consciousness. She used them to award each hidden sentry with cement blocks, smashing them so hard they spat blood, then collected them into the Space.

Under her cruel method of dealing with these "rats," all the enemy soldiers at the garrison fort were wiped out.

Just like she did in the early morning, she laid the enemy soldiers out in the square, searching for any captains with identifications among them, but she did not find the Priest, who presumably had gone to the battlefield to bolster the soldiers with enhancements.

Ye Nai took out cement blocks to block both the front and rear doors of the Military Fortress, then dumped the mud again, filling the doors and the central square, burying the laid-out enemy soldiers beneath.

With the cement blocks blocking the doors, the mud would not spill out. If any enemy were to come, they would likely not notice anything unusual before entering.

She then set up a large number of spores around the perimeter of the Military Fortress, watching the retreating enemy soldiers at the front line and guarding against enemy reinforcements from the rear; any who appeared would be taken down first, to be dealt with later after she checked them.

After looting the warehouse completely, she returned to the flagpole on the city wall, glanced at the enemy's flag, and went back to rest in the East Ridge Secret Realm.

She didn't change the flag for the time being. Since she had directly teleported here using the Space Teleportation, saving the travel time, she set the time to match, making it necessary to keep this unsightly enemy flag raised for a while longer.

Thinking of the flag, Ye Nai remembered that she had left the previous flagpole at another Military Fortress.

She had only purchased ten sets of flags. It would be problematic if they start being consumed frequently.

Having woken up early in the day, she decided to catch up on some sleep in the Secret Realm. After waking up, she busied herself with farm work until her wristwatch alarm reminded her it was six-thirty, then she stopped working and left the Secret Realm.

On the city wall of the Military Fortress, the sun was setting in the west, and everything was normal. The surrounding spores sent back no feedback.

So Ye Nai returned to the East Ridge Secret Realm again, ate something, then resumed her previous tasks, working to convert a grass field into new farmland.

The mycelial mat in the soil grew thick and dense; it would be wasteful not to break new ground now.

She busied herself until after ten, then took a bath and changed her clothes. Once again, she left the Secret Realm, took out her RV and SUV, turned on the spotlights on the vehicles, and using the light, replaced the enemy's flag with her own. She then collected the mud and cement blocks from the field, exposing the mud-caked corpses of the enemy soldiers.

The mud that had been out for so many hours had dried a bit at the surface, but it was still usable, and the mud itself still weighed heavily as a blunt weapon.

The transmission was smooth; Ye Nai guessed that the situation at Dudu Ridge must have stabilized, with the communication support vehicle working properly.

The phone buzzed lightly, displaying one unread message.

[Video received—nicely done. Is the enemy camp really empty?]

[It's really empty. All the external sentries have been taken out.]

"Alright, you rest for a bit," Dudu Ridge is preparing a helicopter to transport warriors over and will take you back to Dudu Ridge.

"But I still have things at True Dragon Gully."

"No worries, head to Dudu Ridge first. We have a helicopter for transporting post-disaster supplies. After delivering the materials to Dudu Ridge, it will take you to True Dragon Gully."

The head of logistics, Li Yun, was busy at the residential camp directing the reconstruction efforts. Upon seeing Ye Nai, she thanked her once again for providing the supplies that sustained them through the hardest first day.

Now that they had everything they needed, Ye Nai collected the large items she had lent, which had only been used for two days. The ground was clean, and there were no water stains in the bathrooms.

After collecting her things and returning the military smartphone, Ye Nai hurried to catch her armed helicopter at the True Dragon Gully camp to go to the opposite military fortress.

In one day, she had made a full circle.
