Echoes of the Sharingan in Soul Land (Itachi in Douluo Dalu Fic)

Chapter 2: Chapter 1:

Chapter 1:

…..

-Douluo Continent

In a small village on the outskirts of the Star Dou Forest, a boy named Uchi Ha was born.

He was an ordinary child, with nothing that made him stand out from the rest. His life was simple, devoid of luxury or grand aspirations. His mother had died giving birth to him, so he never got to know her, and his father, Uchi He, was a level-29 Spirit Master...

Yes, if there was anything worth mentioning in his life, it was his father.

Uchi He, Uchi Ha's father, was 37 years old and a level-29 Spirit Master. His Martial Soul was a whole-body Body Spirit, though his innate spirit power was only rank 3, which limited his Martial Soul's potential.

When Uchi Ha turned nine, his father took him to a nearby town to awaken his Martial Soul along with the other children. In their small village, there weren't enough resources for such ceremonies, so all the youths had to travel to the nearest town.

The Spirit Hall didn't even bother sending anyone to awaken the Martial Souls of children in villages as remote as theirs.

If one wanted to awaken their Martial Soul, they had to go to one of the towns Spirit Hall actually visited.

This was common in small, hidden villages far from the two Empires.

In Uchi Ha's village, many had high expectations for him since he was the son of Uchi He, a level-29 Spirit Master.

During the ceremony, when the golden light touched Uchi Ha, something strange occurred. A pair of enormous, black, mysterious eyes appeared behind him. His Martial Soul turned out to be Spirit Eyes.

This was a mutated type of Body Spirit, an extremely rare phenomenon.

The mutation occurred in his eyes.

This allowed the user to perceive their surroundings with greater clarity and slow down their perception of time.

But despite how rare it was, not all of it was positive, as most mutations don't turn out to be advantageous.

And his Martial Soul was no exception. Not only did it lack combat abilities, but to make things worse, his innate spirit power was only rank 1, making it incredibly difficult for Uchi Ha to become a Spirit Master.

While Uchi He, his father, lamented this outcome, he didn't dwell on the topic, and both of them continued with their daily lives.

At the awakening ceremony, only four other children had innate spirit power, but like Uchi Ha, theirs was only rank 1, and their Martial Souls were also unsuitable for Spirit Master training.

So, Uchi Ha wasn't overly disheartened.

Uchi Ha continued his peaceful life without regrets.

No one mocked him in the village because the majority of the population didn't even have spirit power. This meant his father remained the only Spirit Master in the village.

A month passed after Uchi Ha awakened his Martial Soul, and fortunately, the days passed as peacefully as ever. Everyone lived their simple, tranquil lives in the village.

Until, for some reason, the normally peaceful Star Dou Forest fell into chaos.

Normally, this wouldn't have affected Uchi Ha or the others, as spirit beasts rarely ventured near the village. But this time, it was different.

The spirit beasts seemed to be rampaging within the forest.

Something had enraged them, and the frenzied spirit beasts began roaming the forest, destroying everything in their path. Even Uchi Ha's village wasn't spared.

Countless beasts rampaged throughout the forest as if searching for something, and sadly, in their fury, the village suffered as collateral damage.

However, it wasn't the enraged spirit beasts that entered the village but rather several beasts, ranging from 10 to 100 years old, fleeing the commotion in the forest and ending up in the village.

Uchi He tried to hold off the beasts, but there were too many of them, and they destroyed the village.

The beasts caused massive destruction throughout the forest, and Uchi Ha's village was no exception. The villagers, being ordinary people, were powerless to do anything—not even escape in time.

Everyone in the village died, except Uchi Ha and his father, Uchi He, who had managed to protect him after realizing he couldn't save everyone. At the very least, he had done everything possible to ensure his son's survival.

But Uchi He had sustained fatal injuries. He knew he didn't have much time left, so knowing this, his father hid him and acted as a distraction to draw the remaining spirit beasts away from his son.

Time passed, and eventually, the chaos in the forest subsided, and the spirit beasts that had invaded the village left.

But by then, everyone in the village was already dead.

Uchi Ha was left alone, the sole survivor of the massacre. The loss of his father and everyone he cared about filled him with rage, pain, and despair.

He had lost everything.

He had never complained about his life, but now everything had been taken from him so easily. He hadn't been able to do anything to stop it...

He was useless.

Uchi Ha convinced himself that his father had died because of him—because he was weak.

The rage, the pain, the loss, the loneliness, the despair, and many other feelings from losing everyone he loved consumed him completely.

It was then that something extraordinary happened: a dark energy began to flow from his body, enveloping him like a torrent of black flames.

The energy that poured from his body didn't dissipate into the air but instead continued to swirl around him.

After being entirely engulfed by this energy, Uchi Ha felt as if his body were submerged in the torrent of black fire.

If there had been people around Uchi Ha at that moment, they would have noticed his skin and eyes fluctuating slightly.

During the fluctuations, small currents of air emanated from his pores, and the black energy intertwined around his body.

As time passed, the color of the black energy grew fainter, and the fresh scent in the air began to fade slowly.

In that instant, a blood-red light mixed with black ignited within his mind and spread into his mental sea. Then, a chilling air began gathering behind him.

His Martial Soul, the pair of black Spirit Eyes, appeared automatically behind him.

But his eyes started to change as a malevolent, oppressive aura overtook them. Moments later, the enormous pair of black eyes behind Uchi Ha turned a vivid crimson red with a small black pupil at the center.

His Martial Soul had evolved.

It was now...

"Sharingan!" Uchi Ha murmured unconsciously.

Instantly, his eyes took on the form of an incomplete Sharingan, without tomoes, and his eyes began spinning rapidly. A flood of memories overwhelmed his mind: memories of his past life as…

"Itachi Uchiha."

Everything came back to him: Konoha, his clan, his sacrifice, his death. Blood-red tears streamed from his eyes as he recalled his entire life as Itachi.

After maintaining this state for a while, the fresh scent in the air completely dissipated, replaced by an unbearable stench, and the black energy flames surrounding Uchi Ha began to vanish, turning into black sludge.

As for Uchi Ha, who was in the midst of processing his transformation and newfound memories, his previously pained and furious expression slowly softened. His consciousness drifted into a peaceful state, and he eventually fell into a deep sleep.

…..

…..

Hey, author here,

Well, I'm actually kind of skeptical with how this turned out, but I hope you liked it anyway.

And don't worry, his name will still be Itachi. Uchi Ha is just a name I gave him at the beginning because it's more realistic since well... Douluo is a Chinese novel, nevertheless, the name Uchi Ha won't be kept for the future, it will still be Uchiha Itachi.

And I know that many will agree that a sharingan without tomoes is not a sharingan, and I agree with them, but remember that this is another world and I have to adjust a few things..(and don't worry, he will soon have his tomoes, just be patient)
