Earth's Greatest Magus

Chapter 2451 Mirror Battle

Chapter 2451  Mirror Battle

The battle within the mirror world raged on, each moment escalating the stakes.

High above, the two dragons clashed fiercely—one a fiery black dragon and the other a bone-ice dragon. Their battle lit up the sky with torrents of flame and shards of frost, showering the battlefield below with steam and debris.

On the ground, Emery fought valiantly, facing off against Grand Magus Tolaro atop the back of the massive green swamp beast.

Chututlu's poison mist, thick and vile, shrouded the battlefield, forming a natural defense that forced Tolaro to rely on long-range attacks.

Emery, meanwhile, was at a crossroads. His primal form had grown erratic. He could feel its chaotic energy threatening to spiral out of control, every surge of power pushing him closer to instability.

The decision was clear, albeit risky. With a deep breath, Emery deactivated the form, relinquishing its raw might and embracing the measured focus of his Twilight form. Clarity washed over him, sharpening his thoughts and allowing him to channel more intricate and precise spells.

Tolaro was relentless. Spatial wheels, glowing with chaotic energy, spun into existence around him. They hovered menacingly for a moment before hurtling toward Emery.

Emery gripped his Savage Sword tightly, the blade radiating a potent fusion of nature and Khaos energies. As the first wheel closed in, he swung the sword in a sweeping arc, unleashing his most powerful technique—the Dao Edge.

The clash was explosive. Emery's strikes deflected the wheels, each impact sending shockwaves rippling through the air. Despite his efforts, Tolaro's attacks came faster than Emery could counter. For every wheel, Emery managed to destroy, another grazed past, only to be intercepted by Chututlu's writhing tentacles.

Chututlu grunted as one of the wheels severed a tentacle. "Urghh! You better feed me well after this!" he growled, his voice a deep rumble of pain and irritation.

"Of course, I'll prepare a feast if we survive this!" Emery shot back, his focus unyielding.

Despite his efforts, the toll of the battle was mounting. Emery's spirit pool was draining at an alarming rate, each spell cast pushing him closer to exhaustion. Even with the supplementary energy from Khaos, the disparity in power was glaring. Tolaro, a Grand Magus, wielded a level of cosmic energy that threatened to overwhelm Emery entirely.

The dark elf's voice cut through the chaos, tinged with disdain. "This is a battle between champions! You, as a mere guardian, have no right to interfere!"

Chututlu let out a derisive chuckle, his massive form trembling with amusement. "Look at that… A Grand Magus whining about fairness while fighting a young magus. How shameless."

Emery smirked, adding fuel to the taunt. "Before... he even called a dragon to help him bully me. Truly shameless."

Tolaro's expression darkened, his patience wearing thin. With a sharp gesture, he summoned reinforcements. Shadows within the mist coalesced into ten figures—Void Stalkers. "These guys again," Emery muttered under his breath.

They were not just formidable magus; they were masters of spatial magic. Their ability to blink and phase through space made their movements unpredictable, turning every encounter into a deadly guessing game. Their relentless determination bordered on suicidal as they repeatedly ventured into Chututlu's deadly poison mist.

The first to enter succumbed quickly, the thick, toxic haze weakening their bodies within moments. Those who managed to retreat staggered out, visibly drained, their skin pale and blistered. But one unfortunate soul was ensnared by Chututlu's writhing tentacles. The swamp beast wasted no time, coiling around the struggling figure and exposing him to the full potency of the poison. His body contorted grotesquely as boils erupted across his skin. In moments, his flesh began to dissolve, muscles melting and bones cracking under the overwhelming toxin.

Despite witnessing such a horrifying death, the remaining Void Stalkers pressed on with grim resolve. Their single-mindedness was almost admirable as they searched for a way through the poison mist. It wasn't long before one discovered a solution—encasing himself in a fiery armor spell that burned through most of the toxins.

The others quickly followed suit. Flames erupted around their bodies, the dark elves' natural affinity for fire making the spell second nature. With their blazing shields, they phased through the poison, their coordinated efforts allowing them to dodge Chututlu's thrashing tentacles. The air filled with the crackling of fire as they advanced, closing in on Emery's position.

But Emery remained calm, watching their approach with measured focus. As they drew near, he made his move. Without hesitation, he unleashed his domain, releasing a swarm of shadow flame bees—over a thousand of the tiny creatures erupted from the shadows, their wings humming ominously as they surged toward the intruders.

One Void Stalker shouted. "Dont be alarmed!! they are just tiny magical beasts!"

But his confidence quickly turned to regret. The bees weren't designed to overwhelm them through brute strength; they had a far more insidious purpose. Within seconds, the swarm latched onto the flames surrounding the Void Stalkers, devouring the fiery armor that protected them.

"Hurry!! Get Out!!!"

Deprived of their fiery shields, the magus were once again exposed to the poison. Half of the group succumbed almost instantly, their bodies convulsing violently before collapsing into lifeless heaps. Chututlu's tentacles struck with relentless precision, seizing the weakened stalkers and dragging them into the mist's lethal embrace.

The surviving Void Stalkers blinked out of the mist, reappearing at a safe distance. They watched in horror as their comrades were consumed by the massive beast, their once-steely resolve now visibly faltering.

Unfortunately, the bees were not immune to the poison either. Emery's strategy, though effective, had inadvertently cost him half of his swarm. The lifeless forms of his shadow flame bees began to drop from the air, dissolving into wisps of energy.

Just as Emery started to regain control of the fight, an oppressive energy surged through the battlefield. The air itself seemed to vibrate with a deep, resonant hum, culminating in a deafening roar that shook the very fabric of the mirror world.

Tolaro had completed his spell.

A massive portal tore through the air, its edges crackling with raw, chaotic energy. Emery's eyes widened in alarm as he recognized the creature stepping through.

With a deafening shriek, a crimson elder dragon emerged from the portal—the Red Demon's dragon. Its colossal form radiated an aura of destructive power, flames dancing across its scales. Another thunderous roar erupted, the intense heat of its presence instantly clearing the poison mist around it.

Tolaro's smug voice pierced through the chaos, dripping with mockery. "Let the beasts have their fight, and we'll have ours."

Once again, Emery found himself at a disadvantage.
