Saki watched in awe and shock as Rias' wings unfolded from her back .

" What the f.... "

[ Ding ]

A few minutes ago he knew little about the family name Gremory . He honestly thought they were a secluded family like Rothschilds as he had searched them up and there were very few and from the articles the Gremory family was mysterious but devils. 

' But .... '

A small grin escaped his face . It seems life was about to be way more interesting .

" It is nice to finally meet you brother " Rias said. 

" Oh it is nice to meet you too .... This is all just too much to take in " Saki said. 

" Yes , I can only imagine , living a normal life only to find out your family literally are devils , not an ideal situation " Rias said with a chuckle.

" Am I one too ? I believe I would know if I had wings " Saki said. 

" You are . But I believe your mother sealed off you devil heritage " Rias said.

' Oh . This explains a lot . Mother really had the best interests with me didn't she ' Saki thought but her somber mood quickly dissipated . She was dead and he was alive , what good will mourning the dead do for they know nothing. 

Rias removed a vial and put it on the table next to him .

" This I believe will reawaken your devil genes but if you do not want to you can leave it alone. " Rias said. 

Saki considered it . He had a way to grow stronger already and one that did not involve him losing his humanity.

He took it and played with it over his hand.

" What are the pros to being a devil ?"

" You live a long life to some it seems like an eternity . You get enhanced senses and strength . You will be able to fly , see through the dark , teleportation and can understand any language known to man " Rias explained. 

" What about the cons ?"

" There are no cons except that you will not be able to read the bible and light based attacks will considerably harm you " Rias said. 

' Hmm choices . ' Saki thought. 

" Can you tell me the truth , what are the views on half human and half devils ?"

" It is not as good but you are of the Gremory household and I can tell you you will be treated well " Rias said. 

' Hmm. Zoeticus Gremory , that much I know from mom and if he was ready to kill me then that means he does not need a half-devil bastard of his running amok. If things go well I get to make him suffer on the inside and if things go wrong then I make sure to perform the worst deeds in his name ' Saki thought. 

He took the vial and drunk its contents . It tasted horrible but he still drunk it. Once he finished the contents he placed the vial back on the table. 

He felt nothing . 

" So does this take a while or what happens ?" Saki asked.

" I don't know but I suggest you ....."

Suddenly Saki felt pain on his body. Every muscle , every organ , every part of him pained. 

" Ugh " He let out a small whimper then shut his mouth . He was not going to let out anything .

Rias watched in surprise and fear as Saki's energy contracted and expanded. It seemed to be assimilated a more powerful energy in him . They were fusing and the quality of his demonic energy continued increasing but then everything stopped. His energy remained still for a second before being sucked into him like the abyss.

Saki's body stopped aching as he opened his eyes. 

From that moment all everything felt different . He could hear much more clearly , he could see better and he felt great.

" How do you feel ?" Rias asked. 

" I am alright for now . Can I ask for leave for some few days ?" Saki asked.

" You can but I am not the right person "

" Come on Rias , I am certain your word carries weight here right ?" 

Rias thought on it .

" I can only help you get today , tomorrow is on a weekend so you choose to do you but as of Monday you will report here " Rias said. 

" You are also to tell me where you will be during that time and use this time wisely because the moment you arrive we are working on increasing your devil powers " Rias finished. 

" Thanks sis and as for where I'll be I will be at home for the most part. " Saki said .

The portal opened and Saki jumped in. This was where he was going to get acclimated to his new strength and power. He started running and he noticed his speed was quick. 

The lights slowly dimmed once again but this time something was different , he could see well in the dark. The three goblins that he had previously defeated heard him coming and screamed as they readied their weapons. 

Once Saki was close enough one of them jumped towards him . Saki saw its figures slowly rise , it was as if time had slowed down. He easily dodged the attack and punched the goblins gut. The force of the hit threw the goblin up as it spit blood. 

It slowly descended and the moment it reached Saki's view , another punch followed that broke his skull . It fell down dead. 

The goblins watched in shock but they steeled themselves and attacked Saki. This time he did not play with the rest but killed them quickly. 

' If I got rewards for surviving a stronger dungeon does that mean I will get rewards for clearly one too quickly ?' Saki hoped so.

His speed increased to 50 km/hr as he ran ahead. 

He met with other goblins all in groups of 3 to 6 which he cleared easily . After 20 minutes a large gate stood tall and mighty in front of him. A boss was definitely inside. 

He opened the gates to it and a larger goblin slightly taller than his height stood tall and mighty. It had an axe and a very mean gaze . It roared once it saw Saki and rushed to him . It swung its axe to where Saki was and he dodged it easily . The ground cracked at where the axe swung. 

Before the Goblin could raise its axe , it felt a strong blow in its chest . Its heart collapsed and its fell down .

' They have our same biology good to know ' Saki thought . He had struck close to where the heart was and if a normal human can kill with a blow like that what about an enhanced one. 

[ A/N : Don't know biology as much , I failed in that department ]

Rewards for clearing the dungeon with no loss of health : Celestial guide Chapter 2 (2/24) ( SS Rank ) , Void Martial arts guide ( SS Rank ) , 30 boss points.

Note that this is due to beginner rewards , you will have no such luck again ]

2. The dungeon is raised to insane amounts of difficulty but the rewards are also considerably raised . ]

Saki got out of the portal. He was going to check his rewards later but as of now he was more interested in how difficult the dungeons have been raised. 

Level 2 Dungeon recommended power level : 30 > 70 

Level 5 Dungeon recommended power level : 200 > 350 

Level 10 dungeon recommended power level : 1600 > 2000

The power levels had nod changed as much but Saki was definitely sure the dungeons had. He felt that even if he followed the recommended power level things could go horribly wrong . 

He then took out his gifts. 

Battle axe ( F grade ) . There was nothing much about it . It weighed a lot , blunt on the ages and had rusted for the most part. It was practically unusable.

Mask of the Unknown ( A grade ) . Saki put it on and looked at the mirror . Suddenly the mask emitted a faint glow and his outfit changed from school uniform to a more combative suit . It was mostly black , It had a hoodie and the shoes were military boots. It covered everything about him even the aura around him was not present. He could use this. 

Susano's Katana ( S grade ) : It was balanced and well taken care off. It also emitted a faint blue aura that to Saki felt like the storm . 

The rest were texts and guides which he would check on later . But for now the training room held top most priority . 

Another portal opened and he entered. 

He had entered the training room. The room in itself was not as large. It was 1000 cubic metres . 

This was large for certain training but that was not enough unless he bot equipments. 

He now had 50 boss points .

That was the only shop feature in the system .

He browsed through the shop and found some very interesting things. 

He used 10 points to buy a treadmill. This treadmill was like no other . It could reach a staggering 1000 km/hr and could change to ones design . 

He then bought dumbells which came with a chair that could handle its weight the dumbells could increase to 5tonnes while still remaining those small sizes. 

He now remained with 30 points . 

There were 2 things he wanted to upgrade in the room but it seemed he had to choose 

[ Time dilation : 1:2 : In the outside world time will flow half as fast as inside. (30 points ) ]

[ Gravity manipulation : You can manipulate the gravity in the training room upto 1.5 times the gravity . 25 points. ]

He ultimately chose to go with the time dilation . He had the dumbells and he was certain he could work up something

" Now let's get to grinding " 

For his first workout it was ironically studying. He studied all the new texts for about 15 hours . It helped that he had become a devil which increased his thinking process otherwise this would have taken more than a week .

With the knowledge incorporated into him . He came up with the best training regimen . 

He first started with absorbing celestial energy and once he felt stuffed he practiced the martial art moves he saw . This was considerably worse than last time as it held more power and strength and even with his newly awakened body he could hardly handle the pain. 

He finally gave after an hour which was great . At leas that also trained his pain tolerance level 

His next workout he condensed and fired of mana . It was tough at first but slowly he got acclimated to it .

After a tough workout he reappeared in his room and went back to sleep. 

But his sleep was cut short as again he woke up starving. It was currently midnight and his adoptive parents were asleep while Issei was still out. 

He climbed down the stairs and headed straight to the kitchen. He checked around and found out there was no food. 

" Guess ill have to go eat outside. " Saki mumbled to himself. 

He got out still in his pajamas not minding how people looked at him . Anyway it was midnight. 

He walked to a nearby restaurant that he knew was still open. 

He entered only to find Katase and an older male the ones present. Katase quickly recognized her deskmate but now he looked more different. 

" Katase ?"

" Saki ? "

The older male saw this and smiled , he guestered her to go and administer to Saki. There were very few people at this time . Aside from him there was a couple from Kuoh academy and 5 business partners who talked loudly at their own section of the table. 

Saki headed to an empty table and Katase followed him . 

" What can I get for you ?" Katase asked , her tone was professional . 

Saki looked at the menu , there was one bowl written as a couple bowls.

" 4 bowls of curry rice for now " Saki said. 

Katase did what Saki said without asking too much question , what he did with it was none of her business . She went back and after a few minutes came back with two bowls of rice. 

" Here "

Saki thanked her and mumbled something before eating the whole dish. Katase , the couple behind and the man in the kitchen glanced at Saki and they were surprised as after 15 minutes he was done with the food worth 4 people. 

Katase once again went back and picked up the bowls. 

" Is there anything else you want. "

" Yeah I would like 2 cups of green tea " 

Katase noted that in her head and went back . After 5 minutes she came back with well prepared tea. 

Saki took one the offered her a seat. 

" Oh no I can not , I still have to work "

Saki nodded in understanding . 

" Ok "

But before she headed out the older man personally came out . 

" Ah Katase , you have not introduced me to your friend over here " The older man said. 

Katase blushed .

" He is no one "

Saki stood up and bowed slightly .

" Hello I am Saki , it is a pleasure to meet you "

The old man grinned. 

" Ah it is nice to meet you too Saki , I see you know my daughter "

" Yes , we are in the same class "

" Ah that is good , do take care of her , Katase you can catch up with your friend while I take care of things " The old man said before walking off. 

Katase sat opposite to Saki. 

" Where were you the whole day ?" Katase asked. 

" Hmm ? Oh some family issues. " Saki said. 

" Is everything alright " Katase asked leaning forward with sympathetic tone. 

" Perfect . "

" I won't go deeper then "

" Yeah its for the best "

" So what are you doing in the middle of the night and with your pajamas ? You know we are required to where these from monday to Saturday evening as par the school requirements " Katase added. 

" We are ?"

" Oh you are new , Apparently it is for our safety . It started to protect the girls of our neighbourhood and I guess it extended to the guys when it became a mixed school. "

" Next time then I will remember to do that ? So you work here ?"

" Yes on Friday evening to Sunday noon "

" Oh don't you get free time with your friends ?" 

" On Sunday nights to Thursday nights I am free to hang out with my friends so long as I be in school by the required time " Katase said. 

Katase noticed something about Saki's hair. 

" Did you try dyeing your hair ?" 

Saki now finally remembered he had forgotten to dye his hair. 

" No , it is my old dye running off . I guess it is time I stick to my natural hair " Saki said. 

He had already gotten in touch with the Gremory clan and now it did not seem that big of a deal .

" Its red like Rias' " Katase observed. 

' On second thoughts I will re-dye it . The last thing I need is attention ' Saki thought. 

" Yeah , I will dye it again to black "

" Why , that look looks good on you " Katase said. 

" Everyone with their secrets " 

" Yeah " Katase said as she remembered something that made her slightly blush .

" Ok that was weird , you should hide when you think about those things "

" What !! No you are mistaken its not what you think " Katase said . She knew how she had behaved especially since her friends told her she couldn't hide a secret with how her face told the whole story .

But this time her story was mistaken . 

" N-no Its.... ugh " Katase could not explain . 

" Its alright your secret is safe with me " Saki said with a whisper . He thought Katase had a boyfriend somewhere and he just wanted to make her relax. 

Sure he thought she was cute and all but relationships were absolutely out of the door until he fulfilled his goal . 

" You are misunderstanding " Katase whispered. 

Light patters were felt on the roof and then on the ground , it was raining. 

" It seems like my time will be cut short , I have to head home " Saki said. 

" Then I wish you safe trips. " Katase said. 

' Idiot ' She thought. 

" Thank you " Saki said as he stood up . 

" Ummm before you go , is it okay if we hang out on Sunday afternoon " Katase asked. 

' Doesn't she have a boyfriend ? And even if she doesn't why is she asking me ? Something smells fishy ' Saki thought. 

" Of course , I'll be glad to come " Saki said before walking out in the drizzle. 

He walked for a few minutes then looked around to see if anyone was there and no one was . 

He unfurled his wings and smiled. This was the first time he was gonna try this out and he was naturally excited. 

" Lets take you out for a test drive " He jumped to the air and then flapped his wings . 

But he enormously underestimated their power as a small shockwave was heard as he flew quickly to the air and in moments he was above the raining clouds. 

He felt the air hit him , he felt the moon gaze towards him and he enjoyed the feeling of freedom in the air. 

This was refreshing . He wondered why no one did this often , it felt great. 

However his luck was shitty so it had to fuck him up in some way. 

Suddenly something or someone quickly tackled him and threw him on a forest before he could register what was happening.
