"You're not going to let go, aren't you?" Ajuka asked, with Azazel's smile only widened.

"Of course I'm not. Do you believe I care what pedigree your diplomats have?

Do you think, just for a moment, that I would give weight to people that are not part of my group- those that I know that would die for the cause they've pledged upon?"

The Governor-General inquired with an annoyed voice. "I staked my kids' lives to make sure this endeavor passes through smoothly.

It would only be common courtesy to do the same in the name of peace and all of that."

The ultimatum was clear, and the negotiations eventually came to an end when both parties agreed to the extreme terms of punishment if one of the groups failed to keep up a civil, formal, and helpful attitude during the event.

Two weeks, that's when I was supposed to handle that diplomatic mess… and the trouble for today was far from over.

As we started to leave the room, Azazel reached out for me and had his left arm rest on my shoulders.

"You know, it's been a while since I've visited for dinner," The man pointed out. "And it would only help build some friendly environment for the team if you three went through a normal bonding session without killing, dying, or even both at the same time."

I frowned, feeling rather uneasy after the unpleasant finale take of the negotiations. "I didn't plan to cook for today's dinner."

"What? Why not?"

I sighed, deciding to whisper as to mess my position.

"Kunou wanted to eat junk food."

"Then we will pass by to buy some before going to your house," The leader commented dryly. "There is no reason to skip your delicious cooking, Hekishoku."

I could see a few heads perk at these comments, with Akeno being the one looking the most interested by this detail.

Rias was listening too, but both the women and the rest of the redhead's peerage failed to recognize anything worthwhile in that conversation.

"Plus, I believe it's time for your team to start to… believe and trust," The Governor-General added. "You shall eat without masks… and in complete civility."

I frowned at the last word, but I assumed it was meant for Vali. I mean, why would I react badly to Kurenai? And why would the girl react badly?

With those thoughts in mind, I was ultimately pushed into the portal opened by a seal and… right into an alley well away from Kuoh Academy.

But as I left, a pair of red eyes gazed as the entire Grigori group left, a curious and perplexed glint flashing from both orbs before the woman turned to chide her husband for annoying his poor young sister.

"This is so fascinating!"

Azazel blinked in confusion as he stared at quite the dimensional mishap unfolding before his eyes.

While he had grown accustomed to the idea that someone decided to create a game in which one of the characters was supposed to be a younger female version of himself, that didn't exactly mean he was fine with it… nor with the fact that said 'fictional being' was right now standing in front of his desk.

She was found in front of the headquarters' entrance earlier this morning, wandering and asking if anyone had seen where this 'Helltaker' was.

The Main Character of the series she hailed from, the one that enticed her out of her Hellish studies with the promise of pancakes and a unique topic to research on.

"Is that so, young lady?" The man inquired with a hint of curiosity. "Aren't you frightened by what you will become?"

"A little bit," She admitted, her blue eyes moving away from her notes. "It's a massive revelation- something that, while terrifying to some extent, I can still… be happy about."

A frown, and he felt rather surprised by that confusing response.

"Aren't you afraid of what God will do or say when He finds out what you've been doing? While our dimensions are different, I can see Him being angry at you for leaving Heaven for the sake of studying new things."

Through the sake of studies, Azazel could still remember how he ended up growing interested in humans and their customs.

From those that could be defined harmless to Angels… to those that drew on raw passion and were strictly forbidden with those that lived in Heaven.

It was still curious how his Father hadn't seen it fit to outright cast him to Hell, especially with how paranoid he was at the time.

Maybe He was scared by the prospect of adding strong and fresh troops for His first forsaken son's cause, eventually rekindling the conflict that began with Heliel's rebellion.

"Maybe? I mean, I don't know why your Father decided to do that, but I'm sure Mother wouldn't mind if I decided to test some more Earthly traditions,"

The Angel commented quietly, her tone mixing curiosity over this very topic and nervousness at the chances of her too being struck down from the Pearly Gates.

"Helltaker was nice enough to show me pancakes and I had the chance of studying how the important demons behaved. Some are weird and… to avoid, but a small group of those proved to be… not worthy of eternal damnation."

"That could be taken as a criminal thought. To contest your… Mother's will on the damned."

"Mother was never that quick to jump the gun. And I believe that would be more of something Michael would do."

Yes, he would… but was he the same as the 'Michael' from his counterpart's world?

"It sounds like your Michael is a tough cookie."

His female version sighed. "She can be quite… strict. I don't blame much on her since I think it has to do with Lucifer."

Oh right, 'he' lives in that dimension.

"Miss Lucifer tends to give some hints to what might have happened. I decided against asking for more since she looked rather tense when mentioning those tales," The young woman continued.

"But from what I could listen to, they were rather close to each other. In fact, I believe some Angels in Heaven rumored that-"
