"That Null Magic is absurd. How many things can you pull out of there, anyway?"

A muscular man, about 180 centimeters tall, looked impressed as he watched Aiden pull things out of his [Gate of Babylon]. No matter how many times he saw it, it always amazed him.

"I don't know, I've never tested its limits," Aiden replied as he pulled out some materials.

'Although Yog-Sothoth told me there's no limit,' he thought to himself.

In this world, Null Magic was a unique type of magic, something only one or, at most, five people could possess at the same time.

In other places, it was called personal magic.

Aiden had lied by saying that [Gate of Babylon] was his Null Magic, thus avoiding awkward questions.

Although, if you think about it, he wasn't entirely lying.

"And what do you want this time, kid? Are you here for weapons again?" asked the blacksmith, Zold, with a slightly grumpy tone.

"Hahaha… don't be like that, Zold-san. This time I got a new material, and I want you to make me some weapons," Aiden responded with a nervous laugh.

"Two hundred weapon orders every time you come!? And this… is mithril? Where the hell did you get so much?" Zold burst out, astonished as he examined the pile of materials.

Aiden chuckled ironically at the blacksmith's reaction. "A very kind noble gave me this material as thanks for saving him and his servants from some magical beasts. Of course, I wasn't rude and accepted all his gifts."

"Shameless… anyway, as long as you pay, I'll make you all the weapons you want," Zold muttered while inspecting the mithril minerals one by one.

"How many weapons do you think you can make from this?" Aiden asked curiously, and the blacksmith looked at him thoughtfully.

"Hmm… I can make over 200 different types of weapons with this. I suppose you'll want swords, spears, axes, and so on, right?"

"That's right," Aiden replied, nodding.

"Leave it to me, kid."

"Thank you! As always, I'll count on you," said Aiden, leaving the minerals and quickly heading out before the blacksmith could change his mind.

Already on the street, he observed the people coming and going and glanced at the palace visible in the distance.

It was a majestic white marble structure, with enormous waterfalls cascading behind it, forming a lake.

Aiden walked through the crowd until he reached a familiar food stand.

"Boss, give me 10 takoyaki," he said to the man attending it.

"Oh, Aiden, right away," replied the owner as he started preparing them.

After buying the takoyaki, Aiden went into an alley and, after ensuring he was alone, murmured:

"[Lataib]."

With that word, he used his magic to unlock the space and return home.

Aiden could now use [Michael]'s abilities without needing to summon the key, though only on a smaller scale.

'Nushi-sama…' suddenly Aiden heard a sweet voice in his mind, one that had become familiar over the past two months.

'What is it, No. 6?' Aiden responded mentally to his , which had awakened what he called Ego.

'I also want to walk with you…' said the voice in an adorable tone that made Aiden smile.

Aiden crossed the portal and appeared on a beach. Nearby, a path led to a small house on a hill overlooking the sea.

"Well, first you'd need a physical body for that, No. 6," Aiden replied to the sweet voice.

'When will I get a body, Nushi-sama…? I want to go out too, walk and stroll with you. It's quite lonely being here inside your soul… There's only another version of you sleeping here,' No.6 complained, and Aiden imagined her pouting.

"Why do you want to come out now, anyway? Since you awakened your consciousness two months ago, this is the first time I've noticed you so excited," Aiden responded, convinced No.6 had to be a girl.

The voice was just too cute.

If it turned out No.6 was a boy when she got a physical body… well, Aiden could only cry.

'Each day, I'm becoming more like Nushi-sama. Also, Nushi-sama looks lonely, and I want to keep him company,' No.6 replied as Aiden entered the house and settled into the living room to enjoy some takoyaki.

The truth was… he did feel somewhat lonely.

It had been eight months since his reincarnation into this world, a new beginning granted to him by Yog-Sothoth.

Although his relationship with his parents and siblings hadn't been perfect, he missed them now.

He wondered if he would ever see them again, given that he possessed magic to travel to other worlds.

"I won't lie, I do feel lonely sometimes… but, well, you can keep me company. You can always say silly things in my head when you get bored," Aiden told her as he ate takoyaki.

'Yes! Don't worry, Nushi-sama… I'll always be with you for eternity…'

Aiden's skin prickled. Was it just his imagination, or did No.6's voice sound a bit strange at that moment?

'Nushi-sama is thinking rude things about me…' said No.6, as if she were spying on him.

Definitely, No.6 had the touch of a woman; only a woman could perceive that sort of thing.

"Of course not, No.6-chan, you're just imagining it," Aiden replied, getting up from the sofa in the living room and heading to the beach—or as he preferred to call it, his training field.

At the sea, he could test all the magic he had learned in these months without worrying about destroying anything.

'I remember when Nushi-sama used me to summon a meteor from space; lucky that you launched it into the sea,' commented No.6 suddenly.

"Yes… I didn't think that would actually work either. You're incredibly powerful, No.6-chan," admitted Aiden.

'Um, um! Of course, I am the first to awaken,' replied No.6, clearly happy with the compliment.

Aiden and No.6 continued talking about random things while Aiden practiced magic from this world.

The magic in this world was divided into seven types: fire magic, water magic, wind magic, earth magic, light magic, dark magic, and null magic.

Magic worked through incantations and effects; the more magical power you had, the stronger the spells would be.

Aiden, more than focusing on the magic itself, was researching how magic worked to create his own spells, as the magic in this world was too disappointing, except for a few null magics.

Elemental magic was rather pathetic—or at least of no use to Aiden.

Therefore, he was investigating the mechanics of magic itself.

How was he researching how magic worked despite being just an amateur in the field?

"[Rasiel]."

In Aiden's right hand, a book resembling an ancient grimoire materialized.

This was the , which had awakened after he reached Level 2 by maxing out his stats.

The ability of [Rasiel] granted him near-omniscience on a planetary level; in other words, through this book, he could know all the events happening in the world.

Aiden used it to find all kinds of information: from magical beasts that might give him trouble but could be defeated, to rare minerals he used to forge weapons and enrich his [Gate of Babylon] magic.

He also used it to study the fundamentals of magic and create his own.

He hadn't been wasting time and would soon reach Level 3.

However, for some reason, no Phrase invaders had appeared yet, although he knew there were some in this world, only dormant after exhausting all their energy during their first invasion a long time ago.

'I wonder when No.2's consciousness will awaken…' commented No.6 as Aiden continued researching magic.

"I don't know. It might take a few more months, considering it took you a full eight months to awaken your consciousness," replied Aiden as a purple magic circle formed in his hand.

'Hmm… what kind of magic does Nushi-sama want to create?'

"Well… you asked the right question because I just finished creating it and want to try it!" Aiden replied as he walked across the sand to the water's edge.

In his right hand appeared a purple magic circle, and a few moments later, the water in front of him began to stir.

—Shhhhhhssshhplashhh!

The waves formed, and slowly the water began to gather.

First, giant legs emerged, followed by a torso, two colossal arms holding a massive sword and shield, and finally, a helmeted head crowned the figure.

"[Gravity Magic: Tidal Colossus]."

A water giant, born from manipulating gravity over water, rose before him.

—Slash! Crash!!

Suddenly, the titan swung its immense sword, slicing through the sea, creating a division on its surface.

Shortly after, the giant disintegrated, returning to the ocean as waves.

"It worked! Oh…! I'm so happy… the magic in this world was quite boring; thank goodness I can create my own," laughed Aiden, filled with pride, as he collapsed onto the sand.

'Congratulations, Nushi-sama,' said No.6, delighted by her master's achievement.

"Yes! Thank you for being with me and giving me ideas, No.6-chan," Aiden responded, sitting in the sand and chatting animatedly with the girl.

'Nushi-sama doesn't need to thank me, but if possible… I'd like to stay with Nushi-sama forever,' said No.6 softly.

"You… have no shame, do you? How can you say such sweet things all the time? You're shameless!" replied Aiden, a little embarrassed.

'But I just want to stay with Nushi-sama… can't I?' No.6 replied in a sad tone.

Aiden fell silent for a moment, unsure of what to say. Then, he smiled slightly.

"As long as you want to stay with me, you can stay as long as you wish… Mukuro."

'…Mukuro?' No.6 asked, slightly confused.

"Yes… I thought of a name for you. I don't want to call you No.6 all the time. What do you think? Do you like it?" Aiden had been considering that name for over a month, hoping she'd like it.

'I love it… thank you, Nushi-sama,' Mukuro replied, her voice full of happiness.

"Hmmm…" Aiden nodded in satisfaction.

They remained silent as he returned home. After dinner and a bath, he went to bed.

"Goodnight, Mukuro," he murmured before falling asleep.

'Rest well, Nushi-sama…' Mukuro replied in a whisper.

Avalon Residence - Dormitory.

"Yawn!"

The next day, Aiden woke up and stretched out his hand, ready to stretch, but at that moment...

Boing.

"Hmm? Soft?" Aiden squeezed something soft and round.

"Ahh~♡"

A feminine voice echoed through the dormitory, leaving Aiden paralyzed.

Quickly, he moved the sheets to see what was going on, and then he noticed.

"Nushi-sama~♡"

A beautiful naked girl with long golden hair approached him and tenderly embraced him.

"It seems that giving me a name made me so happy that I gained a physical body as a result. What do you think? Do you like it?" Mukuro smiled as she whispered into Aiden's ear, who had turned as red as a tomato.

But Aiden wasn't a coward, so he decided to tell the truth.

"I love it."

"Muku loves you too, Nushi-sama…" was the last thing he heard before Mukuro sealed his lips with a passionate kiss.

"...!"

Aiden looked at her incredulously, but there wasn't a trace of displeasure on his face.

Suddenly, he remembered Yog-Sothoth's words: "Perhaps you'll marry your ."

'Maybe he was right…'

Mukuro pushed him back onto the bed, continuing her kisses while whispering over and over:

"Nushi-sama~♡ Nushi-sama~♡"

"Wait, Mukuro…" Aiden murmured between kisses, feeling his 'little brother' waking up from his slumber due to the stimulation.

"Ah…" Mukuro pulled away from Aiden after a long kiss, leaving a thin thread of saliva between them.

Her pretty face blushed intensely.

"Forgive me... Muku was too excited…!" Mukuro said, embarrassed, before disappearing, leaving behind traces of purple magical energy in the air.

"..."

Aiden sighed, a bit disappointed but also relieved.

Mukuro's body was incredibly attractive, and it was inevitable that something in him would react.

But he wanted to take things slow; after all, they'd be together for all eternity.

Driven by curiosity, Aiden decided to check his status. Something might have changed with Mukuro's new physical body.

Aiden reviewed the information and smiled upon seeing Mukuro's name already added; this could only mean she could now manifest in the real world.

He was happy. At least now he would have someone special to spend his days with and share his life in this world.

He quickly changed his clothes and then looked around the dormitory.

"Mukuro, shall we go for a walk around the royal capital? Didn't you want to do that yesterday? Besides, we could try lots of food," Aiden said to the air.

A few seconds of silence passed before a beautiful girl of about 16 appeared before him.

She had long golden braided hair that fell to the ground, and her figure was so perfect and attractive that Aiden couldn't help but stare in amazement.

Mukuro was wearing a white dress that highlighted her beauty, and her face was slightly flushed.

"N-Nushi-sama…" she murmured, embarrassed.

She had gotten carried away by emotion and acted flirtatiously without realizing it, but now she was so nervous she could barely look him in the eye.

"Today, we're going to have fun," Aiden said, taking her hand with a smile.

Mukuro, still a bit shy, smiled back at him.

"Yes…" she responded softly, raising a hand and whispering.

"[Lataib]."

A purple portal appeared before them, and in an instant, they both disappeared, beginning their date in the royal capital.

If you've seen the Date A Live series, I think it's pretty clear who the Egos of the remaining will be.

That said, I want to clarify that Mukuro won't be exactly like her version in the original series.

For obvious reasons, since this is a fanfic, her backstory isn't the same, so there will be some differences.

In the next chapter, perhaps more Egos will have awakened.
