DxD: King of Salt

Chapter 4: Chapter 3

It has already been six months since Zadkiel was reborn into the world and four months since he started training with God. He was getting more stronger from the training as he was able to produce more light power and was becoming more proficient in using it. His control over his signature Light infused salt was also getting better.

They would battle everyday and he has fought against God for roughly 140 times and the result was 140 to 0, all in favour of God.

When he first started he couldn't even break the barrier created by God but he was able to make scratches on it. As time went on his power and control became more streamlined and in one month he was able to destroy the barrier... only for him to know that it was only the first of the many barriers that he has to destroy before he is finally able to actually attack God.

Zadkiel increased his training regime while also making sure to do the duties that he was assigned with. But since he is only needed to give some orders and watch over the other Dominion's he had time to train and hang out with the other archangel's.

In the end of the second month he was able to destroy the second barrier. It took him a month and a half to finally be able to break the third barrier. And now it was the end of the fourth month as Zadkiel was now in front of God as he was kneeling while painting from exhaustion. God was looking at him amusedly as he managed to gather enough energy.

"Father, I have to ask, how many barriers do you have?" Zadkiel asked him.

"If I'm not wrong, then there are approximately 3684 barriers with the last one being the strongest." God said calmly.

(A/N: In the wiki it was said that he used thousands of Forbidden seals or spells before he died and considering how powerful and dangerous forbidden spells or seals are I think this is plausible. So I thought he would have this much.)

Zadkiel widened his eyes when he heard the absurd number of barriers made by God.

'I'm not even close.' Zadkiel thought to himself.

"By the way son, would you mind telling the other angels to come to the throne room an hour later." God said to him.

"Yes of course." Zadkiel said to him.

"Good. Now you must attend to your duties while I work on my project." God said to him as he turned his back to him and started to walk away.

Zadkiel nodded to him and then left the throne room and then met with the other archangel's. He told them about God wanting them to go to the throne room an hour later. The other archangel's agreed but Helel scowled a bit when he heard the task given to him by God. Zadkiel was getting worried over the fact that he might start his rebellion much sooner than anticipated if he is like this.

Zadkiel has also become more favoured by the angels in heaven as they all greet him with respect and give him their attention. Oftentimes many angels had also greeted him while they were talking to Helel. And he has seen the scowl on the angel's face before he masked it. He has also gotten quite close to Gabriel as she would spend time with him when she has free time due to how he treats her.

Zadkiel had now reached the throne room as he greeted the other archangel's gathered there as he stood beside Gabriel.

"Say Zadkiel what do you do with father everyday?" Gabriel asked him.

The other archangel's had known about his frequent visit with God since four months ago. They were of course curious and asked him but he said that it was a secret between the two of them. The other angels conceded but Helel was displeased since he didn't know what his father was doing. As for Yophiel, he was just curious about what he was doing.

Then God appeared in front of them as the angels kneeled in front of him and then rose and stood straight.

"It's good to have all of you here children. I have brought you here to tell you that I've decided to make two more siblings for you." God said to them.

The other angel's widened their eyes when they heard that as they didn't think he would create another one. Nonetheless they were more than happy to have another person in their ranks.

"Now stand back children." God said to them as he got ready.

The angels took a few steps back as they waited. For Zadkiel this was a new experience since he will be able to see an angel being created in front of his eyes. God's hands glowed with his powers as two spheres of light appeared in front of him. Then the two of them started to glow red and blue which confused the angels a bit.

Then the two spheres started to gain shape as the angels watched as it turned into the shape of two females. When the process was done the two new angels shone brightly which caused the angels to squint a bit but otherwise it wasn't a problem.

When the light died down the angels got a good look at the two angels.

One had pinkish hair in twintails, blood red eyes and tanned skin. She was wearing heaven's clothing. (Laevatein from Fire emblem)

The other girl had long light blue hair which reached her ankles. She has bright yellow eyes and fair skin. She was also wearing heaven's clothing. (Azura from fire emblem)

Both newborn angel's opened their eyes and took in their surroundings curiously. After that just like how it had been with Zadkiel, God told the two about himself, then about the angels and the reason they were born. The two also opened their wings and had a total of eight wings or four pairs of wings.

"Your name shall be Azazil." God said to the girl with Pinkish hair.

"Thank you father." The newly named Azazil said as she bowed to him.

"And you my daughter shall be Azariel." God said to the blue haired angel.

"Thank you father." Azariel said as she bowed to him as well.

"Now my daughter's, go and meet with your fellow brothers and sisters." God said to them as the two heeded his words and went to meet with the other angel's.

After the introductions were done and after they were a bit doted upon by Zadkiel who liked children who was younger than him which caused the two to take a bit of liking to him they returned to stand in front of God. God who had seen the interaction between the three angels smiled.

"Now that I have created you, I must assign someone to look after you and teach you the things you have to do in heaven." God said to them.

"But who will teach us?" Azazil asked him.

Helel smirked when he heard that. He thought that he could take the two under his wing and show his two new siblings how wonderful he is and show why he is the first of the angels and God's favourite son.

"Why it's of course—" Helel started to say as he was about to walk to them.

"You both will be under the tutelage of Zadkiel." God said to the two of the angels in front of him.

Helel froze in the spot when he heard that. While the other angels nodded at His decision. The angels knew that Zadkiel was far more approachable to the other angel's than they themselves. The ones who heard Helel, mainly Azazel, Michael, Uriel and Shemhazai knew how overbearing he could be and knew he wasn't a good teacher.

"Do you mind this decision my son?" God asked him.

"No father, I am happy to have the chance to teach my two younger sisters." Zadkiel said as he bowed to him.

"Then it is settled. From now on Azazil and Azariel will be your responsibility. I know that you will take good care of them." God said to him with a smile.

Zadkiel merely bowed in response. Then God told the angel's to go back to their duties as they filed out of the throne room. Zadkiel walked with Azazil and Azariel in tow who were curious about what their older sibling will teach them while Gabriel was walking beside them.

Helel was at the back of the group as he was looking at Zadkiel who was smiling.
