Chapter 34: Chapter 33
Adam reached the Seventh Heaven where the other Five Great Seraphs and other archangels were assembled as they were ready to go to the land of Kronos.
"Is everyone ready?" Michael asked his fellow Seraphs.
"Yes." Gabriel said with a smile.
"Absolutely." Raphael said seriously.
"Of course." Uriel said with a smile.
"I'm ready." Zadkiel said to him with a smile and a nod.
"Great. Then we should be on our way Father." Michael said to God who looked at his children.
"Then you should be on your way. Though Zadkiel, I need to have a word with you." God said before turning to said angel.
"Of course Father. What is it?" Zadkiel asked him curiously.
"Then we shall give you your privacy." Michael said as he flashed away from there with the other angels.
"You do not have to worry about Iblis or Livyatan. I have been watching over them and they are doing fine in Hell. And I must say that your teachings are serving them immensely." God said to him with a smile.
"I see. I'm glad to hear that." Zadkiel said with a smile when he heard that.
"And also, make sure to keep an eye on your brothers and sister and stay vigilant. Even if you had defeated the children of Chaos, they might want some form of revenge against you for the defeat they suffered. They are quite proud." God said to him with a smile.
"Don't worry Father. I will make sure that they won't do anything suspicious to us and always stay vigilant." Zadkiel said to him with a smile.
"Good. And also, be sure to not make Lilith jealous after your visit there." God said to him with a smile.
"What do you mean?" Zadkiel asked a bit confused at God's words.
"You will understand in due time." God said to him with a smile.
"Okay. So, do give us your blessings Father." Zadkiel said to him deciding to see it for himself.
"All of you already have my blessings." God said with a smile.
"That reassures me. Now I will take my leave now." Zadkiel said before he flashed away as God smiled.
Zadkiel then appeared at the Gates of Heaven where the other Seraphs and archangels are present. The other angels smiled when they saw him as they were ready to go.
"What did Father say?" Gabriel asked him curiously.
"He had just told me to be more careful when we go to their territory. Other than that it was vague but I think I will understand what he meant when I come back." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.
"Then let us not spend more time in idle chatter. We must move towards the land of Kronos to initiate the meeting." Raphael said to them seriously.
"While I agree with you brother, I think you should be a bit less serious than this. I'm sure that they won't mind if you are a bit late. Especially since Zadkiel is coming with you." Azazel said with a smile.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Zadkiel asked him with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, you did kill a lot of the Titans, scarred their King Kronos, and also fought and managed to defeat the Primordial Gaia in battle. I think they would be more scared of angering you and suffering for it than thinking about you being late." Azazel said to him with a smile.
"Well, he is right about that." Penemue said with a chuckle.
"That may be so. However that does not mean that we should be late to a meeting." Raphael said to him seriously.
"Alright brother, whatever you say." Azazel said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Then let's be on our way." Michael said with a smile as he unfurled his wings.
The other Seraphs also did the same and were about to fly when Zadkiel felt some energy forming as he looked behind the Gate. The other angels who noticed his actions also looked and were surprised when Tiamat appeared in a similar way to them flashing/teleporting.
"Tiamat? What is it?" Zadkiel asked her a bit surprised as he blinked.
He walked to her as the other angels watched him as the Goddess also walked to him albeit slowly. The two were in front of each other as Tiamat is his same height as they looked at each other.
"Are you... leaving?" Tiamat asked him as she looked at him.
"Yes. I have some things to take care of." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.
"When will... you come... back?" Tiamat asked him.
"I think I will be able to return in less than a week if all things go well." Zadkiel said to her without losing the smile.
"Please be... okay." Tiamat said to him as he smiled at her.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.
"Then it's a good thing that I'm here to make sure of it." Lilith also said as she appeared via a portal.
"Lilith." Zadkiel said with a smile.
"Hello big brother, here I made this for you." Lilith said as she presented him with a bracelet made out of silver and has one Ruby and one Sapphire stone embedded on it.
The bracelet also has an angel motif witg many wings and feathers carved on it with Ruby on one side and Sapphire on the opposite side which are the middle where the angel wings sprouted.
"When did you learn to make this?" Zadkiel asked surprised.
"You did. I just decided to use my powers to make a bracelet out of silver. Of course, I had to work on it for sometime before I managed to make it correctly." Lilith said to him with a smile.
"It's beautiful." Zadkiel said as he looked at the bracelet.
"Thank you. I also place some magical enchantments on it. I know that big brother is much more powerful than me so this bracelet will let me know about what your condition is so I will know if you will ever be in danger when fighting stronger foes with my own bracelet." Lilith said with a smile as she showed an identical bracelet of her own.
"I'm happy to hear that Lilith. I will be delighted to wear the bracelet that you made for me." Zadkiel said as he took the bracelet and put it on his right wrist as it fit him perfectly.
The two gemstones shone on both bracelets when he wore it as Lilith smiled.
"Have a safe trip big brother." Lilith said to him with care as she placed a kiss on his left cheek as he smiled at the gesture.
"Thank you Lilith." Zadkiel said with a smile.
But then he felt someone hugging him from behind as he recognised the energy being from Tiamat as said goddess is hugging him from behind.
"Don't worry Tiamat. Lilith, Adam and Eve will keep you company until I return so please do not inconvenience them." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.
"Okay... I will... not inconvenience... them." Tiamat said with a nod as she looked at him.
"Great. Then let us be on our way." Zadkiel said as he got out of the hug and went to stand beside the other Seraphs.
The other angels had seen the interaction of the two women with Zadkiel as they shared glances with each other. Azazel, Michael, and a majority of the angels have smiles on their faces when they saw it.
"Alright. Now all of us are ready. We shall make sure that this venture will be successful." Uriel said to his fellow brother and sisters.
"May Father be with you." The angels and Lilith said in unison as the Seraphs smiled at their words.
Then they flew away from there as beams of light as they watched them fly away.
(A/N: Sorry for the long wait. I was just a bit too busy irl and didn't have much of an idea as to how to facilitate the chapter. A small writers block so to speak.
Don't worry, I already have the plans about events in my mind and many more are coming to my mind. It's just that I have to find things to add between them to connect them correctly and not leave any plot holes in my story. Anyways, thanks for reading.
And about a new DxD book, I was thinking of starting another one with a human or other race this time. Don't worry this story will be my main focus, that's a side project so to speak so I am open to suggestions for the MC.)
