Chapter 9: Chapter 9 • Training Under the Guardianship of Light
Adjusting the buttons of his shirt, having already put on his pants, Light reflected silently: 'I didn't think she was a virgin...'
Noticing the red marks on the sheets of the bed, situated in a more private and tidy corner of the ruined church, Light turned his gaze to Raynare. She was sitting on the bed, staring at him with intensely bright eyes.
"You were extraordinary, Light-sama~" she whispered in an enveloping voice, full of flirtation and seduction. Especially in the situation she found herself in.
Her hair was in disarray and she was completely naked, showing off a sculpted body, full of charm and maturity, with a few love marks that enhanced her seductive silhouette.
"I had the impression that you had abandoned your faith in God." Light commented, "I remember hearing you invoke the name of 'God' several times..."
"Am I to blame? Raynare said and let out a soft laugh. Despite her bold posture, you could see a touch of shyness in her expression.
At one point, she seemed so embarrassed under Light's gaze that she covered her flushed face with her hands.
This provoked a deeper, more engaging laugh from Light.
Raynare, peeking through her fingers and watching Light laugh, seemed completely enchanted.
She then removed one of her hands from her face, using it to fan herself.

In front of Light stood Asia Argento. Her long, straight blonde hair fell gracefully over her shoulders, framing a face of delicate features. Her deep blue eyes exuded a captivating innocence. Dressed in a nun's habit, the black and white garment accentuated her fair skin and contrasted with her angelic aura. The outfit, although simple, emphasized her elegant posture and aura of purity, making her an enchanting sight to behold.
"Hello, Asia-chan." Light greeted her with a friendly smile. "I imagine you're wondering why I called you here, aren't you?"
"Good afternoon, Light-sama." She bowed respectfully and confirmed with a nod: "Yes, I am."
"Have they said anything about me to you?" Noticing Asia's confirmation, Light continued: "You're currently following Raynare's orders, who answers directly to me. What I want is for you to start working directly under me."
"Understood." Asia asked: "But why exactly do you want me?"
Her blue eyes, deep and innocent, searched for the answer in Light's gaze.
"Let's just say that I value your kind nature." Light explained. "And, of course, your special ability is also a bonus. Do you understand what I mean?"
"Yes, I do." Asia replied: "So, will I be under your tutelage, Light-sama?"
Noticing that she still seemed a little uncertain, Light apparently chose not to go into the matter further.
"For now, Raynare has already arranged a place for you to stay." Light informed. "All you need to do is attend school, acquire more knowledge and, when you return, dedicate yourself to training."
"Really?" Asia asked in surprise. "So my focus will just be on studying and training?"
Watching the sparkle intensify in her eyes, Light couldn't help but smile.
"Exactly." Light confirmed. "At the moment, there's no need to do anything specific for me. After all, you still need to get stronger. However, if you dedicate yourself and evolve, I'd be grateful if you could help me in some future situations."
Upon hearing this, even Raynare, Kalawarna and Mittelt looked perplexed, trying to understand Light's motives for such decisions regarding Asia.
"I promise to do my best!" Asia declared, clenching her delicate fists in determination.
Light watched her with a smile, finding her intriguing.
After a short moment, he proposed: "How about we start training now?"
His gaze then turned to Raynare, Kalawarna and Mittelt.
"If you want to improve your skills, you're invited to join us." Light suggested. "Weren't you interested in learning about Haki?"
"Really?" The three asked at the same time, surprised.
"Exactly." Light confirmed, without going into details. "It's up to you."
"We'll definitely take it!" They answered together, showing enthusiasm.
Asia, noticing their reaction, was visibly surprised.
"What's so special about that Haki to make them like that?" Asia asked quietly.
"It's a technique that enhances both the body and the spirit." Light explained, turning his gaze to her. "It's extremely effective, but at the moment you don't have the ability to manifest the Haki yet."
Light's hands were enveloped in Haki energy.
"What you're seeing is Weapons Haki." Light explained. Light explained. "With it, I can enhance both my defense and my attack. And it's not just limited to my hands; I can apply it to any part of my body. Of course, it's possible to cover my whole body with it, but it's most effective when concentrated on a specific area."
Light continued, detailing the fundamentals of Haki.
By the end of his explanation, it was clear to all four present just how complex and powerful Haki is.
"It's no surprise that Dohnaseek was defeated so brutally by Light-sama's blows..." Mittelt commented in a whisper.
Although his speech was almost inaudible, Light caught his words and chose not to comment.
Soon, the three fallen angels had finished creating a barrier around the entire abandoned church.
━━━━━━━━
Hours later, inside the deserted old church, Light settled into a chair. Next to him, Asia, Raynare, Kalawarna and Mittelt lay exhausted on the ground.
Occasionally, Light cast provocative glances, especially at Raynare, who, trying not to show irritation, gave him furtive glances. However, his countenance was in a good mood.
Since Raynare had been given the Lacrima of the Light Dragon by Light the day before, her strength had grown significantly. If previously her power had been around 20 points, it was now easily over 50, and still rising.
In addition, Raynare stood out among them in her mastery of Haki.
Could this be because she was now a Dragon Slayer?
This possibility reinforced his decision to teach and train Raynare in Haki.
However, he didn't abandon the idea of instructing Asia, Kalawarna and Mittelt. Even if they didn't have the same natural talent as Raynare in this field, he was still determined to train them. After all, just a few words of encouragement from him could lift them up for a long time!
Especially someone like Asia. A young girl with a sweet and naive nature, who is satisfied with simple gestures, was not complicated to manage. Well-placed words and kind treatment would be more than enough to win her over.
