At first, Light navigated to the "Techniques/Skills" section to look at the items he could buy. In the list of treasures, each item had a level rating, highlighted in colors on the holographic interface: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and purple.

"Haki...". This is a technique that combines physical and spiritual training. There were two variations available: Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) and Busoshoku Haki (Weapons Haki).

In the end, he decided to invest 300 Fate Points to acquire both techniques.

With his eyes closed, he absorbed the vast knowledge of the two techniques.

Haki requires deep concentration. Meditation can be an effective way of training the mind, allowing you to access the dormant Haki within you more easily.

"Hahaha!!!" Light let out a laugh.

He felt more powerful, but he hadn't imagined that just by possessing the Haki, even if it was only incorporated into him by the system, it would already give him 10 points of Physical and Spiritual Power. What's more, as there was the word "level", it meant that these techniques could increase levels.

"Beat! Hit! Hit!"

"Light, is everything all right in there?"

Just after the knocks on the door, Sayu's voice was heard.

Regaining his composure, Light replied: "I'm fine, Sayu. Come in, you wanted my help with your math homework, didn't you?"

"That's right!" She quickly opened the door, went inside and said, "I'll get my materials and be right back!" 

Light remained calm. Noticing the sweat, he quickly dried his face and applied deodorant.

Before long, his sister returned.

He accompanied her to the living room.

Sitting down at the table, Light began to help her with her homework. For him, it was simple.

Sometimes his thoughts wandered as he helped Sayu.

The next morning, the alarm clock brought him back to reality.

"I'm still Light Yagami..." He muttered to himself.

Although he had apparently adapted to the idea of having transmigrated, a trace of doubt remained in his eyes.

After a brief visit to the bathroom, Light went to his room to change.

"Bye, bye, Light~"

"Bye." Light said, "Take care on the way!"

"I will!" Sayu replied.

Light headed for the Kuoh Academy.

As he reflected, a sudden shout cut through the air.

"Thief!"

Running towards him was a man of medium height, wearing black pants and sweatshirts and a surgical mask covering his face. He was tightly holding a woman's handbag.

Right behind him, a young woman of about 17 was chasing him. She was tall, slender, with long dark hair that reached halfway down her back, adorned with a white headband. Her eyes were red and intense.

She tried to catch up with the thief, but clearly didn't have the same speed.

"Swerve, swerve!" The thief shouted.

Light, observing the scene, remained motionless with an indifferent look on his face.

Planting his left foot firmly on the ground, he spun around, raising his right foot in a curved motion, similar to the trigger of a revolver. At the instant of rotation, his foot struck the thief's chest hard.

A pop was heard.

The thief let out a scream.

The impact of the kick launched the thief into the air, lifting him a few centimeters before he fell backwards. The intensity of the pain was evident as he writhed on the ground, groaning.

"Wow!"

The onlookers, shocked by what they had just seen, let out exclamations of surprise.

Breathing heavily, the young woman chasing the thief finally reached where Light and the thief were. She quickly retrieved her purse, took out her cell phone and called the police.

"I'm on XXX Street, I've been mugged." She reported over the phone. "The thief was restrained by a young man here. Yes, it's serious. Please come quickly. I don't know how long he'll be immobilized."

After ending the call, she turned to Light.

"Thank you very much." She expressed her gratitude. "I got my bag back thanks to you."

Seeing her thank him, Light replied: "It was nothing. I just did what I thought was right."

"It may not seem like much to you." She retorted. "My name is Utaha Kasumigaoka. You're Light Yagami, aren't you?"

Light confirmed with a nod. "I know you. We're in the same class."

"Oh, that's right." She replied with a restrained smile.

The sound of police sirens began to approach. Light commented: "I have to go. See you later."

Utaha just waved in response.
