DxD: Forsaken Regalia (Gacha fic)

Chapter 6: Canon start and Student council shenanigans.

Author notes 1.

Sup guys. Sorry for the lack of updates this couple of days, i was playing Castle Crashers with some friends and we got all achievements in the game :D

Righ now im playing Grim Dawn and i yesterday i start Lollipop Chainsaw and what a fucking fun game i swear, try it.

In the notes below i will talk a bit about the MC appearance and what i have in mind choosing that for him.

------------------------------------------

Samuel Pov.

Two days passed after I put Ornstein in the assimilation slot.

Fully assimilated already, less time than Magneto...well, if Magneto and Ornstein fight, I will bet everything on Magneto. Sorry, Ornstein...but you have a way cooler armor.

Armor and spear I can use now...I don't know if I was the Giant Blacksmith of Anor Londo who crafted them both for Ornstein...but in this universe, it's godly craft-level items...maybe even more.

The armor can protect me against lightning, huh...will be useful.

I fully assimilated Le Fay and reinforced the wards on my house...worst-case scenario, I can put up a giant magnetic force field with my mutant powers.

Talking about Magneto, I fully assimilated him finally when I woke up today.

With the two free slots, I put Walter and Hyun-Sung Kim. Normal humans, but okay, I will accept whatever ounce of power I can harvest.

Yesterday was a boring day...but the student council is keeping an eye on me. Kiba too, but that's a given because we're in the same class.

Coming through the school gates, I was stopped...

"Lancaster, you have a minute?" Sona, huh? Guess it's time.

"What?" Let's play for a bit, hehe.

"We would like to have a talk with you after classes in the student council room." Not bossing, huh? Okay, I can work with that.

"Sure, about what?" I ask with a smile, knowing exactly what it is.

Earning a glare from Sona, she responds,

"Let's talk after classes. I will send a member of the student council to guide you." she says, fixing her glasses.

"Okay, see you guys later then." I pass Sona and Tsubaki. Guess the cat's out of the bag now...doesn't matter anymore.

I keep walking until I hear Issei and his friends--wait.

Throwing a fit to Issei about his girlfriend.

Here it is.

Canon just started today. I grin a bit.

I was about to go into my thoughts, but I see Issei coming to me.

My best-educated guess is he's about to show off his girlfriend to me...he kinda does that to everyone in school right now.

"I got a beautiful girlfriend! Watch, you handsome bastard!!" He shows his phone to me... yep, it's fucking Raynare in her Yuuma "disguise."

Let's give him some advice. Maybe he won't have a trauma, but I doubt it. He's dumb as fuck, after all.

"Congratulations, Issei. Take this advice: don't dedicate your entire being and happiness to a girl." My eyes stare at him, looking into his soul.

After seconds of uncomfortable silence between us, he manages to say something.

"I-I see...thanks, I guess." he says awkwardly.

Before he says something else, I turn around and walk away to my class.

His trauma happens because he put all his faith in Yuuma/Raynare. Her saying, "I love you, go out with me." to him basically was his demise. Of course Issei put his whole being in Raynare—he was a virgin teenager who wanted to be loved by a girl... and when she betrayed him and killed him... let's not forget she killed Asia, the girl he wanted to protect.

Love for sure is a double-edged sword, huh.

His trauma is understandable, but the situation could be easily avoided if he were a bit more mentally mature or less retarded...well, who cares anyway? He'll get out of this sooner or later.

His problem, in a summarized way? He simped too hard.

After entering class, I notice not many people are in. Guess I'm a bit early today. Sitting down at my desk, I was about--

Uh oh, more problems incoming.

"That was good advice, Lancaster-san. Oddly specific." Kiba said with a smile, just entering the class and stopping by my desk to say that.

I know he was close... guess he heard that, huh. Well, doesn't matter.

And dude, first time you talk to me and you make it weird.

"Listening to private conversations now? And good morning to you too." I said with a clever smile, enjoying my own sass.

"Ah, sorry, good morning. I was passing by, and I heard you two talking." he said with a smile and bowed a little.

You were not fucking passing by. I felt your presence behind the corner like some two-bit stalker, you twat.

"Yeah, right. You need something?" I cut the bullshit.

"What do you think about Hyodo Issei?" I didn't expect that.

"A dumbass who's not gonna listen to my advice. What about you? What do you think of him?" Without missing a beat, I throw the same question.

"Well...he's peculiar..." he said with a troublesome expression.

"PFFF, I bet." I laugh a bit and turn my head to the front, away from him, ending the conversation.

Kiba was a bit surprised by this. After seconds, he went to his desk.

What was that? Rias sent him already? I was expecting Koneko's stalking ass, but okay.

Nah, maybe he just felt my magic and decided to talk and gauge me a bit.

I sigh... time for the boring classes.

-------------------------------------

Another school day just ended... I decided to wait a bit, sitting at my desk, waiting for this person to guide me to the student council room.

And there she is...they work fast.

White hair...student council member. Must be Momo Hanakai.

"Lancaster, I'm here to guide you." she said, bowing a little.

"Sure, lead the way." I said to her.

I decided to make small talk.

"Wonder why your little group decided to have a talk with me." I threw the words into the air.

"Sona Kaichou has some doubts about you." she said, not giving much away.

"I bet." I said with a smirk on my face.

She caught that, of course, but decided to say nothing.

The rest of the walk was in silence. Guess she's not much of a talker in this situation.

After a while, we arrived at the room.

"Here we are." she said and entered first, motioning for me to follow her.

The room was elegant and old-style, like the rest of the school.

I entered with a stoic, upright posture, commanding confidence and power. My eyes fell on the girl sitting behind the desk in front of me.

Sona Sitri.

Or Sona Shitori here in the human world.

Taking a glance around the room, I noticed the other girls standing in different positions. Momo went to her own spot as well.

"Samuel Lancaster, nice to meet you. My name is Sona Shitori. Please take a seat." Sona said.

"Likewise, Shitori." I said, sitting in the comfy padded seat. Nice chair.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I got straight to the point.

"Before that, would you like to drink something?" she asked, playing the good host, I see.

"Nope." I said, popping the "p."

"How about a game of chess?" Her hands rested on the chessboard close to her. Here she goes.

"Fuck no." I rolled my eyes at her. Haha, her face is funny right now—not just hers, but some of her girls too.

"Can I know why?" Sona asked with a puzzled expression.

"Because I hate clichés." I left it at that.

"..." Silence filled the room.

I refused to elaborate.

I could see Sona's eye twitching. Lol.

"I see... but please, Lancaster, mind your language," Sona said with a sigh.

"Nah, but please get to the point." Cursing is funny. Change my mind.

"We are aware you're a magician, Lancaster." Sona said.

Well... yeah? I mean, I was obvious.

"And?" I said in return with a smirk.

Sona was a bit taken aback by my response.

"Are you aware of the supernatural world, I assume?" she asked.

Finally, to the point.

"Yes... I mean, fallen magic family and all that, comes with the trade... I'm aware you're devils along with the Gremory group," I decided to save us some time.

Her eyes widened a little, as did her peerage members, but she quickly refocused on me.

"...I see." she said slowly.

"So again, what do you want?" I asked again.

Silence filled the room for a couple of seconds. Guess she's deciding what angle to approach the topic from.

"I noticed you've had a magical growth recently, and as one of the overseers of Kuoh, I decided to have a little talk to know you better and your intentions." Sona said, fixing her glasses.

As expected. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"I see. Well, I have no bad intentions. I'm here to finish high school, and that's it, nothing more." Not a lie. After all, I don't want to involve myself with her group.

"And the magical growth?" she asked.

Not letting that go, huh? Well, I have zero intentions of telling her the real truth.

"Training." And I left it at that.

"How?" she said, and I felt her genuine curiosity.

"You can't expect a magician to reveal his family tricks, right?" I deadpanned at her. Yeah, let's go with this.

"I see... you have a sacred gear?" She's not giving up, huh.

"Who knows." No, but I will have some.

Imagine having the knowledge to take sacred gears and doing nothing.

What you will do instead? Letting the whole hero factions with powerful sacred gears keep wreaking havoc as a retarded third rated villains with they fucking stupid reasons for doing that?

Fuck that.

I'll keep all the sacred gears of these retards. Asshole tax.

"You're not being cooperative, Lancaster." Sona said.

"Of course I'm not telling you my family secrets. What do you expect? Would you tell me all the secrets of the Sitri family if I asked? Of course not." I smirked a little.

I looked at the girl's sigh. Guess she's getting the idea.

I'm powerful, girl. More than you and more than your sister. You can't ask shit from me.

"Are you interested in joining my peerage?" Sona asked.

What a stubborn girl, haha. Can't blame her, really.

"No." This time, I let my voice fill the room. I put some power behind that negative.

I noticed everyone flinch.

"I-I see. Can I know why?" Sona stuttered.

"The mere thought of me serving someone makes me sick. Don't take it personally," I said firmly.

Before she could say anything, I decided to throw a small bomb at her.

"You are aware that fallen angels are in the city hunting for people with potential?" I said while waiting for her reaction.

"WHAT!!x6" Haha, there it is. The other girls joined in too. That was funny.

"Lancaster, are you serious?" Sona asked me with a dark expression.

"Yeah, they're hunting people with magical potential and sacred gear users. Dunno why," I let her have that small piece of information.

"How do you know?" she asked without missing a beat.

"I feel them. They're in the abandoned church. No idea why they're hunting people." I shrugged. A lie, of course.

She was in deep thought, with a troubled expression.

"Point is, I want you to know this information as a goodwill sign." I said, grinning a bit.

"You're one of the 'lords' of Kuoh, right?" A small mock in my words.

"Wait, Lancaster. If what you're saying is true, doesn't that mean you're in danger?" she asked.

I looked at her, letting my eyes bore into hers.

The room became silent and uncomfortable.

After a couple of seconds, I decided to talk.

"Sitri." I used her real surname.

"Y-yes?" Haha, relax, girl.

"If the fallen decide to attack me, you don't need to worry about them anymore," I said, my tone calm but cold.

"Why?" she asked, a bit unsure.

"Because I will personally kill them all." I let some bloodlust fill the room. My facial features changed a bit.

Again, they flinched. I needed to send a message here. I will not tolerate bullshit from any side.

"Well, it was nice talking to you, Shitori. Sorry for bringing bad news, but I thought you should know." I said with a calm smirk on my face as if the last couple of seconds hadn't happened.

"It's okay. Thank you." she said slowly.

"No problem. I'll go now, and good luck with that thingie." I said, standing up and walking toward the door.

I left, heading home...

I know she'll do nothing about the fallen. Too scared to instigate another war.

Well, that was a fun talk...

Let the canon roll. My debut will be the Kokabiel fight, after all.

3rd Pov

After Samuel left the room, silence filled the student council members.

Sona let out a long sigh, her expression troubled.

"I need to tell Rias about this." Sona said.

"Tsubaki." Sona commanded.

"Right away, Kaichou." With that, Tsubaki left to inform the other Lord of Kuoh.

"What about Lancaster?" Momo Hanakai asked her King.

"We'll leave him for now. We have a possible fallen problem to deal with." Sona really hoped this was a joke on Lancaster part, because if it wasn't...

Once again, Sona let out a long sigh.

Author notes 2.

Lets talk a bit about the MC appearance.

(Image)

I decide to give him a youthfull and regal look. Toned but lean. He have 17 years and from a noble house of England after all.

The looks from the protagonist of "Standard Reincarnation" is very close to him but different hair color

(Image)

You can think of a combination of the two.

Second i choose this because i was a bit tired and burned out of the greek god gigachad appearance most of this mc's in fanfics have.

Like they are highschoolers but this mc look like some ripped 30 years old lol.

Your classical American movie lmao.

Next chapter will be updated first on this website. Come back and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!
