DxD: Flames of Eternity

As the days went by, my introduction party got closer and closer. Still, with the 100 demons and the extra two leader class individuals, I felt as if the party would not go south, but hey fingers crossed. All of the demons except 5 of them are working on the decorations, landscaping (with magic), food and such, the five I sent to England, to start the foundation of the trading company, and with magic to deceive the rulers, it is so much simpler now, than the 21st century.

The families of the land are of no concern, after all, the current pendragon and the other families can't compare to my family even if they are combined, even at their peak they can't be anywhere equal to us.

For the party, the castle was further expanded with space magic, courtesy of Diablo, and styled with elegance and class, showing prestige without just relying on our wealth, which right now is sky high, if I do say so myself.

But today, a day before the party the day is the day I dreaded, the day my mum, grandma, and albedo chose a suit for me, heck even Lili was pulled into this, while dad and grandpa silently prayed for me, haa why can't they just let me choose my suit.

"No, this isn't it's too tacky, doesn't suit him", my mum says while taking the next suit

While from her back and sides, the rest agreed and gave their input simultaneously getting the next suit that they think will suit me, now I understand the pain of my father and grandfather and all other of my fallen brethren, whom I shall be joining.

"Ok, that's enough, I tried close to 100 suits from each of you, can I pick one by myself and if it's good can we end this, please?", I ask hoping this will get over

"Very well, drake you have one chance. I have seen your father's dressing sense, I will not let you look like a fool at your first introduction, especially when it is of this magnitude, understood?", my mum said to me, I just nodded understanding her concern.

"What my daughter says is true, drake, you have one chance after all your father and grandfather both have a horrendous sense of fashion", Grandma explained, while Albedo and Lili backed them up, but for different reasons

"I understand, one chance is all I ask", I say which they accept. I enter the dressing room, and push my brain to 100%, to remember all the types of tuxes I could from before. Hmm, let's go with that, I decided.

For that to work though, I changed some of my physical appearance, not any drastic change but rather changed it to how I would look if I was around 20 or so years. Looking at the mirror, to see if any changes were needed, then exited.

"So how do I look?", I ask stepping outside while letting out some of my royal aura, I'm quite pleased with how I dressed up if I do say so myself.

"Perhaps, this will be what the lord will fail at?", I say, after all, no person can be that considerate, after all the demons arrived, he ensured that we all settled down and got a good understanding of what and how to do the necessary tasks,

Secondly, he treats every individual with the proper amount of respect, while not overly respectful either, which is rare in a person of his standing and race. After all, devils were created for war, but they are similar to demons in regard to the fact that they are creatures of desire and will do anything for their desired object, lover, food, arts, music, etc.

*snort*

I see Albedo, the lord's lover, showcasing her disagreement. Well, I guess she would know more about the lord than me, hmm

"Am I wrong my lady? Do you believe that the lord can dress himself up to a point he can impress all of us here?", I ask believing the lord cannot

"Please, he has always broken through any barriers before him. While we overthink how it will affect his standing, he'll likely end up wearing something that brings out the most of him and goes with it, which will also be something that suits him perfectly.", Albedo responds. Well, at least one thing I learnt is that she has absolute faith in the Lord.

"I have to agree with my granddaughter, this time Lilithra, that boy tends to surpass one's expectations. I have lost count of how many times he shocked us over the years.", the grand dame says, hm perhaps there is some truth to the young lady's words.

"What my mother says is true, when he sets his mind on something he will achieve it, and till now I haven't seen him not achieve his goals", the lady says

Just then an aura of royalty hit all of us, it was not demanding attention or anything, but rather the overwhelming feeling of Awe, descended on us, haa the winds of change truly have started to blow, after how long has change accrued, in this world that is stuck in time, or will it be only the phenex clan that changes?

"It seems, I owe you an apology, my lady. It seems that I still do not know the lord well enough, even after knowing all of the lord's past achievements.", I say apologising to the young lady, after all, there is no reason to get angry or upset over such a minor thing.

"It matters not, Lili", she says not even glancing at me, well I can't complain after all the lord is truly an attractive individual and that's not even considering his strength and backing of the phenex clan

"Now, as I don't hear any disagreement on my choice, this is the finalized suit that I'll be wearing tomorrow. If you will excuse me, I'll leave you ladies on your own," the lord says and walks away without sparing a second glance.

Finally, that's over well at least until the next party, what do to now?

Albedo and Mum cleared my entire schedule for the day, and I have already checked all of the plans and events prepared for tomorrow twice. Going over them again will be useless, plus I can leave that to Dad, Mum, and Grandma.

I'll take some time to clear my mind, it's better than staying here, stuck with a clouded perspective. Yup, I'll do that.

Going out of the castle, I see Dad giving orders to the maids on where to be and how to welcome the guests, well I guess Grandma will be coming to help Dad out sometime, maybe even Mum will.

"Aedric, what are you doing here, I thought you would be getting your suit picked?", dad asks

"Ya, that got over and I thought of going out for a bit to clear my mind", I tell hoping that Dad doesn't restrict or say no, even diablo will be following me after all his life purpose now is to serve me, so I'll be well protected as well.

"Hmm, that's a good idea, it's better than staying here and becoming impatient or agitated, but be safe out there, and even if Diablo is to follow you, we still worry and come before dinner is served, ok?", dad says

"I'll be safe and yes, diablo is going to follow me, I'll come back by dinner, see ya", I say, then transform into a phoenix, similar to Marco's, the difference being my very flames are of a higher degree which feeds on my DP, which I continuously purify I guess? I have no clue, but I perform the circulation method found in novels, there is some level of purification that took place, will it be beneficial, who knows? and the colour is gold with red highlights, hehe seeing my dad's shocked face makes all the hard work worth it, oh it seems the rest also saw me transform, hahaha even albedo doesn't know of this technique after all only me and Scathach worked on this.

Throughout the supernatural world, every being from the strong to the weak, the political ones to the intellectual ones, even the ones that are older than reality itself, was awake after all tomorrow is the day they meet the one who created an entirely new form of power, one not restricted by race as well.

After all, now even the humans who were regarded as the bottom of the bottom, have a chance to rise to the top, that was how useful Haki is, not even considering the other factors of its future sight of a few seconds, armament, etc.

Tomorrow, the day both the world meets the genius of the Phenex clan, and the genius meets the world, and the day when both enemies and allies come together under one roof, to witness the introduction of what is called, "The Rise of The Pheonix"

Even the Queen of the Succubus, one known for their non-involvement in external affairs, and to the ones in power, they are known for their foresight another reason for the uproar.

Hmm, it seems change has begun, for the last 10 years the future has always been changing, and now even I, a being present from the start/beginning of everything cannot see what the future lies ahead.

It is for the first time since the start, is the future truly blank, meaning anything can take place, perhaps even win against the invaders, hahaha just thinking of the future gets me riled up, it seems the kiddo was not wrong, this age truly deserves to be called the 'The Rise of The Dark Phoenix'.

Perhaps in the future, he can rival me and the dragons and even give me a good battle, hm I should get a better trade agreement with them thought, I want those magi-tech goodies, it made my life sooooo peaceful, my wives are so happy now with them as well, I should make sure that kid from my faction doesn't cause trouble as well, haa so much work

"My, dear husband I hope you will get a good trade deal with them, won't you?", I heard from my back

Turning I see my wives standing side by side, honestly who on earth created the top 10 list, without even considering the other primordials and other females, including my wives, the ones who made that are fools of the highest degree.

"Oh, and make sure that brat doesn't cause trouble, we want their products, second it's an open secret that they will have more new systems of magic hidden, oh and sometime back, they sent a message that they will be conducting an auction, and if anyone wants to participate, then they will have to bring goods for exchange, you know the usual.", another one of my wives told, hmm new system of magic, despite my reputation I do like to gain new knowledge, I'll have to get some nice goods this time

Just then, I sensed a ripple in space, knowing who is the cause of this, after all I can count on my one hand on who is powerful enough to power through the wards in place and those who are allowed access to my home, I see my two friends, which is quite rare after all they don't like to involve themselves in supernatural affairs.

"We need to talk", one of them says, it seems it's going to be one of those days, haaa
