Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 19: Chapter 19. Over 100000

"Fifty thousand... Sixty thousand...!"

"One hundred thousand!"

"Impossible! This is impossible!!"

As the combat power detector displayed values spiraling into the hundreds of thousands, Vegeta could hardly fathom what was happening. Kahn's power was off the charts, far beyond anything he had ever encountered.

Didi!

Boom!

The detector exploded, unable to measure the overwhelming energy radiating from Kahn.

Vegeta stood frozen, shock washing over him. The Saiyan he had assumed to be merely a low-level fighter was now revealing a power level that extinguished his confidence. He was a proud Saiyan prince, and yet his power level remained at a mere 18,000.

How could Kahn, who grew up on Earth and had only started training recently, be so powerful?

"It must be an instrument malfunction!"

Vegeta desperately attempts to rationalize the impossible. The reality was too overwhelming to accept for his proud self.

"Raditz, use your detector!"

He ordered urgency in his voice.

Raditz complied, pressing the button of his combat power detector, hoping for different results.

Didi!

Boom!

Moments later, Raditz's device detonated as well, leaving both of them pale and trembling. The idea of two detectors failing simultaneously was simply absurd, especially given the reliability of the newer models they possessed.

Vegeta's expression twisted with fury.

"Raditz, you assured me Kahn's power was only five thousand! This is madness! How could he leap to hundreds of thousands? Are you trying to mock me?"

Raditz's voice trembled with disbelief.

"I swear, he was at five thousand-three hundred. How could this happen in just a year?"

Both Saiyans were coming to dread the implications: Kahn had been training seriously without them even knowing.

"Raditz..." Kahn's calm voice interrupted their rising panic.

"If Vegeta is your reliance, I guess I'll start by defeating him, and then we can settle our differences."

Sweat beaded Vegeta's forehead as he faced Kahn, inching away desperate to retreat. His former bravado had vanished; fear overtook his arrogance. Kahn's relentless approach made it clear that there were no escape routes left for him.

In an instant, Kahn had closed the distance, towering over Vegeta, who looked increasingly cornered.

"Prince Saiyan, right?"

"Genius fighter, huh?"

Punch

With a swift punch, Kahn sent Vegeta crashing to the ground. The prince, once proud and fierce, now lay humiliated, struggling to breathe.

Raditz and the others could only stare in disbelief. The Saiyan prince, once a figure of legend, was now being treated like a mere child by Kahn.

Raditz felt a surge of dread as he realized the truth of the day. The intended plan to defeat Kahn had utterly backfired; it was Vegeta who had become the victim.

"Come on, Kahn, this is Vegeta we're talking about!"

Raditz stammered, his voice laced with desperation. But Kahn wasn't looking at him; instead, he fixed Raditz with a gaze that made him tremble.

Whoosh!

Though Kahn's expression was friendly, an icy chill radiated from him, echoing the threat that loomed.

"Ka... Kahn, wait! Misunderstandings, all misunderstandings! Just listen to me!" Raditz pleaded, his voice shaking.

Kahn's laughter was devoid of humor.

"What are you doing, Raditz? I preferred your rebellious side just moments ago."

"I was wrong! Just let me go!"

Raditz blurted out, panic overriding his pride. He pointed accusingly at Vegeta.

"It was him! He ordered me to kill Kakarot!"

Vegeta, furious and humiliated, barked back.

"You traitor! You better pray I don't get my hands on you! I'll make your life worse than death!"

Raditz barely registered the threat; he was more concerned with his own survival in the face of Kahn's overwhelming power. If he could appease Kahn, perhaps there was still a way out.

"Oh?" Kahn raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the back-and-forth. The dilemma had become entertaining. Raditz and Vegeta were now at each other's throats, revealing how strong their alliance was.

"But you executed the order, didn't you?"

Kahn continued coldly. "If you could kill Kakarot because he ordered, then I can also kill you because I want to."

Raditz's complexion drained.

"Kahn!! Please, I'm begging you! I was wrong! Just one more chance. I can do whatever you ask! For our parentssake, please!"

Kahn's gaze sharpened with unwavering resolve. Mercy had crossed his mind only briefly, now replaced by a firm determination—he would not overlook the betrayal and arrogance directed toward his brother.

Kahn stepped forward, unflinching, while Raditz's pleas echoed in the air, each word a desperate gasp in the face of inevitable judgment.
