Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 15: Chapter 15. Selling vegetables

"Raditz...? Is that the scary brother of yours?"

Son Goku couldn't help but recall the person named Raditz, who left a terrible impression on him more than a year ago. The memory was so vivid that Son Gohan still feared his uncle to this day.

Goku nodded gravely.

When Kahn had let Raditz go, Goku had a bad feeling; he knew Raditz would return.

And here they were.

Today, over a year later, Raditz was back—this time not alone, but with two formidable accomplices!

"I just sensed a massive explosion of energy. They must be killing people!"

Goku said, anger boiling inside him.

"These bastards! Earth isn't a playground for them!"

After learning about his origins, Goku harbored resentment toward Saiyans like Raditz. Though he was also a Saiyan, Goku grew up on Earth. He preferred to identify as an Earthling rather than allow his life to be dictated by the actions of other Saiyans.

Over the past year, under Kahn's urging, Goku had engaged in intense training and had also trained Son Gohan. Compared to a year ago, his strength had significantly increased.

He no longer feared Raditz, but...

Against Vegeta and Nappa, Goku knew he was still weak compared to them.

However, that was not enough to deter him. Since Raditz had come for him, he had to step forward and confront them!

"Gohan, you stay home and protect your mom!" Goku instructed, not waiting for a reply. He quickly cast Flying Technique and sped toward the direction of Vegeta's energy.

At the same time...

Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, and the other Earth Z fighters couldn't remain idle any longer.

The moment Vegeta and his team obliterated a city upon landing, it was clear they couldn't stay out of it.

If Vegeta and the others weren't stopped, more disaster would befall them soon.

For Earth, for their homeland, and their loved ones, they had to rise and defend their home.

Capsule Company.

Bulma had just witnessed the horrifying scene of Nappa decimating a city in the blink of an eye through a live broadcast by media reporters.

Her pretty face went pale with fright.

"Oh my God! This is terrible!"

In a panic, Bulma pulled out her mobile phone and dialed Kahn's number.

At that critical moment, Kahn was the first person who came to her mind.

Western Farmers Market.

Kahn and Vados had just delivered their garden produce to the market for wholesale when Kahn received Bulma's call.

"K... Kahn, where are you?" Bulma's trembling voice was filled with panic.

"I just arrived at the farmers market. What's up?" Kahn replied casually.

"It's bad!" Bulma exclaimed, her voice frantic.

"That guy from before is back!!"

"I'm already aware of that," Kahn said nonchalantly.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen."

The moment Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz landed on Earth, Kahn sensed their energy; how could he not know?

"But..." Bulma protested,

"They just destroyed a city! You need to go stop them!"

Compared to Bulma's anxiety, Kahn remained calm.

"Don't worry. I'll handle it after I sell the vegetables. This is important," he said, focusing on his produce.

With that, Kahn hung up.

Bulma, frustrated, stomped her feet.

"Why is he thinking about selling vegetables at a time like this?!"

Bulma couldn't comprehend Kahn's perspective. While she came from a wealthy family and was the richest person in the world, Kahn's background was far humbler. In a metropolis like the Western Capital, Kahn, and Vados relied on their meager income from selling vegetables to make ends meet.

"Husband, what's going on?"

Vados feigned ignorance, her tone curious.

"It's nothing. Just that Raditz is back, and he's brought two accomplices," Kahn replied with a smile.

"Huh? Did he take down that Frieza guy?" Vados asked.

"How is that possible?" Kahn scoffed.

"If he had fought Frieza, he wouldn't be alive now. Let's not think about him; we should focus on selling the vegetables first."

Meanwhile, Son Goku, Piccolo, and the others had reached the place where Vegeta and his team had landed.

Once a bustling city, it was now reduced to a desolate ruin.

Whoosh!

Several figures descended from the sky and landed before Vegeta and his crew.

It was Son Goku and his team.

"I can feel a powerful aura coming from them as if we're being suppressed by a mountain!"

Krillin exclaimed, fear evident in his trembling voice.

"Yes!"

Tien Shinhan concurred, sharing his apprehension.

This was the strongest opponent they had ever faced.

During this moment of tension, Son Goku and his allies found themselves confronting the trio.

All of them sensed the overwhelming, terrifying aura radiating from Vegeta and the others.

Compared to their foes, they felt utterly outclassed.

"Oh? A bunch of brats have come to play," Nappa laughed mockingly as he activated the combat power detector on his left eye.

Beep beep.

Combat power reading: 2800.

This was Goku's power level—the highest among them.

Next was Piccolo, who measured in the low thousands.

Krillin and Tien Shinhan were even lower, with their power levels barely registering in the hundreds.

"Two thousand eight hundred combat strength?" Nappa raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised.

"Raditz, is this your younger brother?"

"Yes," Raditz confirmed. "He's Kakarot."

"Raditz!"

Goku clenched his fists and glared at his brother.

"You bastard, what are you doing on Earth?!"

Raditz crossed his arms and chuckled.

"My dear brother, of course, I came to Earth to invite you to join us. After all, we are the last surviving Saiyans, so we should be united even more now, shouldn't we?"

"As for that bastard Kahn, Vegeta will send him to hell later. You don't need to worry about that."
