Dragon Ball: The Universe's Finest

Chapter 10: Chapter 10 (End of the Saga)

'He did it,' I thought, a smile forming on my face almost without realizing it. Excitement swept over me as I saw the result of all that effort. There was something inspiring about witnessing that kind of transformation: the leap from mortal to divine, living proof that it is always possible to overcome one's limits.

The rest of those present looked on with expressions of awe and respect. Even Vegeta, who usually maintained his cool demeanor, let a faint glint of admiration slip into his eyes. Whis looked pleased, while Beerus narrowed his eyes with renewed interest, as if he had finally met a worthy challenge.

The new Goku, enveloped in that divine aura, clenched a fist slowly, as if testing his strength in this new state. "So... this is the Super Saiyan God," he muttered, his voice calm but charged with a tinge of awe.

Beerus watched Goku with his arms folded, his expression serene, but his eyes shone with keen interest. The divine energy now emanating from the Saiyan seemed to have captured his full attention. The God of Destruction tilted his head slightly, as if analyzing every detail of the transformation.

"Interesting..." muttered Beerus to himself, though his voice was clear enough for all to hear. "So this is the power of the Super Saiyan God. That energy... it doesn't feel simple like mortal energy, it's stable, serene, yet devastating at the same time. Perfectly balanced. This might be fun after all."

Whis, who had been watching silently, smiled curiously. "It's impressive, isn't it? The ritual worked perfectly. Although... I wonder how long it can maintain that form. After all, it's divine energy channeled into a mortal body."

Beerus held up a hand, asking for silence. He took a step forward, his gaze fixed on Goku, who remained motionless, as if still adjusting to his new power. "Goku, do you feel the difference? That power coursing through your veins now is not yours alone. It is the very essence of divinity. But I wonder... will it be enough to take on a God of Destruction?"

Goku took a deep breath, flexing his fingers as if getting used to the flow of energy. "It's different... very different. My body feels light, as if the weight of my limits is gone. But at the same time... I feel a great responsibility with this power."

Beerus' expression hardened slightly, and a small smile appeared on his face. "Words are nice, but this power is not about responsibility. It's about action. So stop talking, and show me what you're capable of."

Goku smiled, his confidence glowing as much as his new form. "Very well, Beerus. Let's see if this power lives up to your expectations."

Without warning, Beerus disappeared from his position, appearing in front of Goku in the blink of an eye. The blow he threw was direct and devastating, a swift attack that would have knocked out any ordinary opponent.

But Goku, with his divine reflexes, managed to block it, although he fell back a few meters due to the impact.

The clash of energies was brutal. The shockwave that followed caused the ground to shake and the spectators to instinctively recoil. Vegeta narrowed his eyes, watching every movement closely. "Tsk... even with that power, Beerus still has the advantage in technique. But Kakarotto... he won't easily fall behind."

Goku counterattacked, lunging towards Beerus with a speed that seemed to defy the laws of physics. Each blow was swift and precise, creating flashes of light each time his fists collided with those of the God of Destruction. Both were moving so fast that to others they were just flashes of light appearing and disappearing across the sky.

"This is just the beginning!" exclaimed Beerus, blocking a punch and responding with a kick that launched Goku skyward.

But Goku didn't lose control. Pausing in midair, he raised a hand and began to charge an attack. A sphere of pure, glowing red energy began to form in his palm. "Come on, Beerus, show me everything you've got!"

Beerus let out a laugh, extending an arm forward as his purple aura began to glow brightly. "You think you can challenge me with just that? I hope you're not disappointed, Goku, because you haven't seen anything yet."

Both of them rushed into combat once again, colliding with a force that lit up the sky like fireworks.

The sky continued to light up with each clash of Goku and Beerus. Their movements, so swift and powerful, generated waves of energy that shook the air and the ground alike. To the common eye, their bodies seemed to disappear and reappear at different points in the sky, but my eyes could follow them clearly. Every hit, every dodge, every energy exchange... it was all amazing.

'This is unbelievable.' I thought, completely absorbed in the combat. I didn't realize that someone had appeared right next to me until I heard his voice.

"So what do you think, Mira, do you think Son Goku will be able to defeat Lord Beerus?" Whis' soft voice broke my concentration.

The startle was immediate. My heart skipped a beat as I turned to face him. 'At what point did he appear? I definitely still have a lot to learn from him.' I thought, trying to calm myself as Whis watched me with that serene smile that never seemed to leave his face.

"I think Goku has surpassed a barrier that even he didn't know existed," I replied after taking a breath, trying to sound self-assured. "He must be excited to be able to take on someone like Lord Beerus, but..." I paused, letting the suspense hang in the air, and noticed how Whis tilted his head slightly in curiosity.

"But... what?" he asked, clearly interested in my opinion.

"Even with this new power, I don't think it's enough to rival Lord Beerus," I continued, being honest. "Let alone defeat him."

My comment caught the attention of Piccolo, who had been watching the fight with a frown. He averted his gaze from the fight to look directly at me. His serious expression and authoritative tone intimidated me slightly, even though I knew I was now more powerful than he was.

"What do you mean by that?" Piccolo asked, crossing his arms.

"I..." I hesitated, searching for the right words to explain my point without sounding disrespectful or pessimistic.

Fortunately, Whis interjected with his usual calm, saving me from my discomfort. "What Mira is trying to say," he began, attracting the attention of both Piccolo and the others nearby, "is that, although Son Goku has reached a divine level, Lord Beerus has centuries of experience with this type of energy. Compared to him, Goku is like a newborn who is just learning to walk."

Piccolo nodded slowly, processing Whis' words. His brow was still furrowed, however.

"That makes sense," the Namekian admitted. "But I thought this power would be enough to at least match it."

Whis let out a small laugh, almost as if he found Piccolo's optimism adorable. "Ah, but there's another important detail," he added, watching the fight again. "This being a divine transformation, I doubt Son Goku can maintain it for long. His body, being mortal, is not used to handling energy of this magnitude. It's like a small glass trying to contain an entire river. Eventually, his body won't be able to sustain the form."

"Then there's no hope?" Piccolo said in a low tone, clearly frustrated by the situation.

Surprisingly, Whis shook his head, his expression becoming a little kinder. "Not necessarily," he replied with a hint of mystery. "Lord Beerus' goal is not to destroy for the sake of destroying. Though he may not appear to be, he has a... softer side."

"A softer side?" repeated Piccolo, clearly surprised.

"That's right," Whis continued. "If in the time that Son Goku manages to maintain this transformation, Lord Beerus is satisfied with the fight, he will most likely decide to spare both you and Earth. After all, destruction is not always the answer for a God of Destruction. Hohoho."

Whis' words seemed to cast a small ray of hope over the situation. Even Piccolo, though still looking worried, nodded silently as he looked back up to the sky, where Goku and Beerus were still clashing like titans.

For my part, I remained pensive. It was true that Beerus wasn't as ruthless as he appeared, but... how long could Goku maintain form? And what if Beerus decided that wasn't enough?

The thoughts washed over me as the combat in the sky intensified. Goku, now fully enveloped in his divine aura, seemed to be resisting Beerus' attacks better and better, but it was clear that the God of Destruction was not yet fighting in earnest.

'Come on, Goku,' I thought, feeling a strange mixture of admiration and concern. 'Prove that this power is not just a temporary form, but a real breakthrough for all of us.'

Goku advanced with impressive speed, closing the distance to Beerus in an instant. He launched a flurry of blows, swift and precise, which Beerus dodged with a fluidity that seemed almost carefree. Finally, the God of Destruction blocked a one-handed punch, smiling calmly.

"Your power has increased considerably, Goku," Beerus said, almost with a tone of praise. "But..." In one swift movement, Beerus spun on himself and slammed him with his elbow in the stomach, sending him flying to the ground. "You're still a long way from reaching me."

Goku's impact against the ground left a massive crater, raising a cloud of dust that covered the entire place. For a moment, silence reigned. Everyone watching the fight held their breath, waiting to see if Goku would get up.

And then, through the dust, a figure rose. It was Goku, panting slightly, but with a smile on his face. "This... this is amazing," he said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. His voice showed no fear, but pure excitement. "I've never felt anything like this before - thank you, Beerus, for giving me this opportunity!"

Beerus raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Thanking me? You're a peculiar warrior, Goku. Most would be begging for their lives at this point."

Goku rose into the air again, adopting a fighting stance. His energy increased, his divine aura expanding, and his eyes shone with determination. "I'm not going to give up. I have to give my all, not only for myself, but for the Earth and all who live here!"

Beerus smiled sideways. "Very well. Show me what you are capable of."

Without giving time for more words, they both launched into combat again. This time, Goku seemed to have found a better rhythm. His movements were more precise, and his punches managed to push Beerus back, although the god still didn't seem to be using his full strength.

At one point, Goku charged a Kamehameha from above, gathering his divine energy in his hands. "Ka... me... me... ha... me... me...!" he shouted, as a sphere of bright blue energy formed in his palms. Beerus, from below, simply watched with his arms crossed, as if waiting to see how strong the attack would be.

"HAAAAAAA!" shouted Goku, launching the attack with full force. The blast of energy streaked across the sky, illuminating it completely as it shot towards Beerus, who at the last second extended a hand to receive the attack.

The collision generated an explosion that shook the whole place, forcing those of us watching to take cover from the wind and the blinding light. When the explosion dissipated, Beerus was still there, hovering in the air with his hand outstretched. He had managed to deflect the attack, but for the first time, his expression showed more than calm: a slight nod of approval.

"That was interesting," Beerus said, lowering his hand. "Maybe you should feel proud, Goku. That attack was enough to make me use more than the bare minimum."

Goku was panting, clearly exhausted, but the smile on his face didn't disappear. "That means there's still time to impress you..."

Beerus tilted his head slightly, as if assessing his next move. "I hope you didn't give everything you had, because now... it will be my turn."

The god disappeared from sight in an instant and appeared behind Goku, hitting him with a kick that sent him back against the ground. The force of the impact was so great that even from our position we could feel the earth shaking.

Goku got up once again. His movements were slow, but each step was charged with unwavering resolve. His eyes, bright with a residual crimson flash of Super Saiyan God, lifted to Beerus, who hovered above him with an expression that mixed curiosity, amusement, and a hint of impatience.

"Hey, Saiyan," Beerus said in his usual nonchalant tone, as he crossed his arms.

"What do you say we take this a little higher? I know you're holding back from damaging this puny planet, and, frankly, I need to see your true power. Say... in the exosphere, what do you think?"

Goku wiped the sweat from his brow and forced a smile.

"That sounds good," he replied with the confidence that always characterized him, though his breath was beginning to hitch.

Beerus nodded with a barely perceptible smile before beginning to ascend. Goku, without hesitation, followed him, leaving the earthly landscapes behind and entering the skies.

From the ground, Whis watched the scene with a serene smile, as if enjoying a private show.

"Oh, looks like they'll continue the fight in space. This is going to get interesting," he commented, attracting the attention of the spectators.

However, I wasn't as focused on the show as the others. There was something that kept going round and round in my head.

'Ever since I came to this universe, everything seemed to follow the course of events I knew so well. But since Beerus awakened, changes have not stopped cropping up. Some are subtle, others more significant. This means I can't be completely confident in my knowledge of what's to come. The way everything is unfolding, things may take a completely different turn...' I thought as I watched Goku ascending beyond the clouds, enveloped in that reddish glow I had admired on the screen, I felt a knot in my stomach. It was as if that spectacle was being enacted for the first time, as if the outcome was not guaranteed.

"Hey, Mira!"

Whis' familiar voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned to him, startled, as if I had been caught doing something improper.

"Y-Yes, Master?" I quickly replied, striking a stiff, formal pose as an automatic reflex, which caused Whis to let out a soft, almost musical laugh.

"No need to get so uptight, Mira," he said with an amused grin as he pointed upward. "I'm going up to see how the fight ends. Do you want to come with me or would you rather stay here?"

For a moment, I hesitated. I looked around, observing all the characters that had been part of my childhood, those familiar faces that brought me a sense of warmth and nostalgia. But I also felt a strange weight in my chest, a sense of responsibility.

Something told me it would be best to stay, in case things didn't go as everyone expected. If Beerus decided to destroy Earth, someone would have to be prepared to act, even if I had no idea how he might do it.

"Na, I'll stay here for a while. Go easy, Master." I replied, trying to sound more confident than I really felt.

Whis looked at me with a mixture of curiosity and understanding, as if he could read my thoughts just by looking at me. Finally, he nodded slightly, grabbing an ice cream from the dessert table before gently soaring off into the sky.

As I watched him disappear into the distance, I turned my attention to the group of warriors who remained on the ground, watching the battle with the same uncertainty as I did. Their faces reflected confidence, but also a slight tension. They all knew that much more was at stake than a simple fight, and I knew it too.

Despite being in the middle of this world I knew so well, I couldn't help but feel like an outsider, like a misplaced cog in a machine that worked unpredictably. This was not the same universe I had admired from my couch years ago; it was a living, constantly changing universe. And I was part of it now.

To which Whis understanding me, grabbed an ice cream from the dessert table and took flight."

 (Meanwhile, in space)

The fight reached new heights, literally. With Earth out of danger, Goku was no longer holding back. Every blow, every burst of ki was a display of his ultimate power. The two warriors exchanged attacks at a speed that almost defied logic, their movements shook the vacuum of space, and the nearest stars seemed to flicker with the impact of their energy.

Beerus, with his characteristic air of superiority, deftly dodged Goku's attacks, launching swift and devastating counterattacks that pushed the Saiyan to the limit. However, Goku was not backing down. Even though his strength was depleting, the fighting spirit that defined him remained intact.

"I must admit, you're managing to entertain me more than I expected," Beerus commented as he wiped some dust from his shoulder after a particularly hard impact. "But I'm afraid this must come to an end."

Before Goku could respond, Beerus reached out a hand and began to build up an immense amount of energy. A sphere of ki, gigantic and searing, began to form, illuminating the darkness of space with a golden glow that could be seen even from the Earth's surface. Its shape was terrifying, similar to a supernova, a stark reminder of the devastating power of a God of Destruction.

"It's time to end this little game," Beerus said, launching the sphere directly toward Earth. The speed and magnitude of the attack were such that the atmosphere began to shake as it descended.

Goku, gasping, looked at the sphere in horror. He could not allow it to hit the Earth, but he could barely stand, much less stop an attack of that magnitude. However, there was no other choice.

"I won't let you destroy my home!" shouted Goku, charging towards the sphere with everything he had left.

Transforming back into Super Saiyan God, even though his power was almost completely depleted, Goku began to push against the ball of energy, concentrating every fiber of his being on stopping it. The contact made his body tremble with pain, but he did not give up. An idea formed in his mind, a risky but necessary one: absorb the sphere's energy instead of trying to destroy it.

"Come on... just a little more!" he shouted with a wrenching effort.

The sphere began to shrink in size as Goku absorbed its energy. The light it emanated became less blinding until, finally, it disappeared.

Goku floated in the void, exhausted, his breathing heavy as he tried to catch his breath. In front of him, Beerus watched him, surprised, something he rarely let on. The God of Destruction crossed his arms, slowly lowering his stance until he was closer to the saiyan warrior.

"Hey, what did you just do?" asked Beerus, with a mixture of curiosity and disdain in his voice.

Goku, barely managing to stay upright in the air, let out a faint smile.

"I guess... I managed to impress you enough... didn't I?" he replied, his tone jovial despite his exhaustion.

Beerus gave a faint smile, turning his gaze to the Earth, which was still intact beneath them, protected by Goku's desperate efforts.

"And for your answer, I-I don't know." admitted the God with disconcerting honesty.

"You don't know? You are a fascinating one, Saiyan." Beerus said as his purple aura surrounded him again, charging a new attack. His energy crackled like an electrical storm in the vacuum of space. His intention was clear: to finish off the saiyan once and for all.

Goku, instead of showing fear or despair, did something that took the God of Destruction by surprise. He did not move. He didn't try to escape. He didn't even plead for his life. Instead, he remained steady, floating in the void, with a calm smile on his face. That serene expression caused Beerus, involuntarily, to smile as well. Slowly, the purple aura around him disappeared, dissipating like smoke in the wind.

"What? Why did you stop?" Goku asked, with a mixture of confusion and relief.

"I wanted to get you to say 'I give up.'" Beerus replied, his tone laden with amusement.

"That's fine. I give up. I give up, Lord Beerus, you're incredibly strong. There's no way I could ever keep up with you. You're the strongest in the universe." Goku said, with a humble smile, though he was still breathing heavily.

"It looks like you finally realize the terror of Beerus the Destroyer. However... you are definitely strong yourself. In the long, long history of fights I've been through, you are the second-strongest." Beerus spoke those words seriously, his tone hinting at respect for his opponent.

"Huh? Se-second-strongest?" asked Goku, incredulous.

"Yes. In fact, if I let you in on a little secret... my apprentice, Mira..." Beerus paused as he saw Goku's confused expression. "The blue guy who saved you earlier today."

"Ah, I remember him now! He seems like a nice enough guy," Goku said, finally remembering the warrior.

"He is. Well, he's my apprentice, and he's the strongest individual I've faced as a God of Destruction, not counting my master." The revelation left Goku stunned, unable to hide his surprise.

"All right, let me tell you one last thing..." continued Beerus, his tone becoming more serious.

"What, that you've decided not to destroy Earth?" asked Goku, expectantly.

"Something like that... but that wasn't what I was going to tell you." Beerus gave a half-smile.

"Then, wh-what...?" asked Goku, confused.

"My assistant, a man named Whis, is over there, isn't he?" said Beerus as he pointed to the angel, who was currently entertaining himself by eating an iced dessert. Goku looked at him in surprise, almost unable to believe that someone would be so unconcerned after what had just happened.

"Huh? Y-yes..." replied Goku, puzzled.

"While he may be my attendant, he is also my master." The statement caught Goku completely off guard, whose eyes widened.

"Eh? Ma-master? So, the strongest in the universe is...!" exclaimed Goku, unable to finish his sentence.

Beerus nodded silently, confirming his suspicions.

"This world is in the Seventh Universe. I am the Destroyer of the Seventh Universe. But there are 12 universes in total, you know? Don't you think there could be even more stronger guys out there?" said Beerus, cracking a half-smile.

Goku couldn't help but laugh. Those words from Beerus expanded his view of the universe in a way he never imagined. Suddenly, the cosmos didn't seem so unreachable, nor its power so absolute. To Goku, this was not daunting, but exciting. A new door was opening in front of him, promising even greater challenges. However, the exhaustion of the fight overcame him, and before he could process any more, he fell unconscious.

Beerus, watching the fainting Saiyajin, let out a sigh. "What a stubborn creature... and strangely fascinating," he muttered. As an unexpected gesture of good faith, he grabbed him with one hand and, accompanied by Whis, descended to Earth.

When they landed, Beerus deposited Goku on the ground with apparent indifference, though his actions spoke of something else. Goku's friends and family immediately ran to him, making sure he was okay. Meanwhile, I couldn't take my eyes off Beerus.

"I will not destroy the Earth," he finally declared, breaking the silence in a calm but commanding voice. The words seemed to echo in the atmosphere, and everyone felt a great burden lighten from their shoulders, including me.

"I-is he serious?" exclaimed Bulma, stepping forward with wide eyes.

Beerus turned his gaze towards her, a mischievous grin creeping onto his face. "Yes, but on one condition."

"What condition?" asked Vegeta, his voice serious and wary.

"I want a lifetime supply of that delicious pudding they have here on Earth," Beerus said as he held up a finger, as if it were an absolutely serious demand.

"Pudding? That's all?" asked Bulma, dumbfounded, as the others exchanged looks of disbelief.

"That's not 'all'," replied Beerus in an almost offended tone. "That pudding is one of the most exquisite things I have ever tasted in my entire existence, and believe me, I have tasted many things. If you mortals do not comply with my request, I will be forced to reconsider my decision."

"Of course we can do that!" assured Bulma quickly, flashing a nervous smile as she nodded vigorously. "We'll give you all the pudding you want, Lord Beerus. I guarantee it!"

Whis, who had been watching from a distance as he enjoyed some ice cream, approached with his characteristic calm smile. "Ah, Lord Beerus, don't you think you're being a bit lenient with them?"

Beerus snorted, crossing his arms. "Oh, come on, Whis. This planet has some pretty interesting food. Besides, that Saiyan deserves some recognition. Few have come close to forcing me to use that much of my power, even if he never came close to defeating me."

With that said, Beerus spun on his heels, his robe billowing behind him. "Consider this a truce... for now. But if I ever discover that you have run out of pudding..."

He let the implied threat hang in the air as he slowly ascended into the sky, with Whis following close behind, while I continued to analyze what had happened.

'Well, apparently things didn't change that much. I guess that's still due to the effect this person has on the people he meets,' I thought as I looked at Goku. There he was, unconscious, surrounded by his family, who, despite everything that had happened, seemed calm.

"Mira, are you coming?" Beerus' voice interrupted my thoughts, snapping me out of my reverie.

"Yes, yes, I'm coming. Wait for me for a second," I quickly replied. Beerus let out an impatient grunt while Whis, with his characteristic calm air, smiled as if he found the situation amusing.

I knew I couldn't leave just yet. There was something I needed to do. Something I couldn't ignore.

With determined steps, I headed towards where I had seen 18 earlier, next to Krillin and his daughter. As I approached, I saw that Krillin was already conscious, recovered thanks to the dragon spheres. He was now playing with Marron, while 18 watched them with a slight smile on his face.

'Sure, the spheres healed everyone who fought Beerus,' I thought as I watched them from some distance. But something else captured my attention.

My gaze settled on 18, on how her eyes sparkled as she watched her daughter laugh and Krillin do silly things to entertain her. That expression of pure happiness, that gentle smile... Something inside me changed at that moment. My heart started to beat faster, and I felt an unfamiliar, almost uncomfortable sensation in my chest.

'Could it be that I...?' No, what are you thinking? She's married!" I reproached myself as I tried to push those thoughts out of my mind. However, no matter how much I wanted to ignore them, the feeling remained there, a spark I couldn't extinguish.

Determined to maintain my composure, I pushed those thoughts to a corner of my mind and continued approaching.

When I was close enough, I cleared my throat to get their attention. Krillin was the first to notice and looked up, followed by Marron, who immediately stopped playing to hide behind her father, curious but shy. Finally, 18 also turned towards me.

"Do you need something?" she asked, her tone as always direct, but without hostility.

"I just wanted to say goodbye before I leave," I replied, trying to sound casual. "It's likely that we won't see each other for a while, but... I wanted to tell you that you have a really amazing family."

Krillin smiled and scratched the back of his neck with a nervous laugh. "Thank you, buddy. You also did a great job up there. I think we're all alive thanks to you too."

"Don't exaggerate," I said, looking down for a moment, faking a smile. "I just did what I could."

18 said nothing, but her gaze remained fixed on me, as if she were trying to decipher something. That intensity made me feel a slight shiver, but it also forced me to stand my ground.

"Well, I have to go," I finally said, taking a step back. "It was a pleasure meeting you."

Before I could turn around completely, I heard 18's voice.

"Thank you... Mira."

The sound of my name on her lips stopped me completely. I stood still, the air seeming heavier around me. I didn't dare to turn around, fearing that my expression would betray what I was feeling. My mind was in turmoil, filled with confusing emotions and a strange heat I had never felt before.

I could only nod, still with my back to her. I didn't want her to see my face, not now. "You're welcome," I murmured softly, barely audible.

As I walked away, I could feel her gaze fixed on my back. That intensity made me want to turn around, say something more, do something, but I couldn't. I clenched my fists, forcing myself to take one step after another.

'This is not the time for this,' I told myself, repeating those words like a mantra in my mind. Beerus and Whis were waiting for me, and there was an entire universe to explore. But, despite my determination, deep down I knew that something had changed within me.

When I finally arrived next to Beerus and Whis, the God of Destruction shot me a reproachful look.

"It was about time, what were you doing that took you so long?" he growled, with his arms crossed and his tail moving impatiently behind him.

I simply smiled. "I said goodbye to a friend."

Beerus looked at me for a second with an inscrutable expression, before snorting and turning away, pretending to be uninterested. "Friends... what a useless thing," he murmured, although his tone lacked its usual harshness.

Whis, on the other hand, watched me with that serene and enigmatic smile that always seemed to hide more than it revealed. His eyes sparkled for a moment, as if he knew exactly what I was referring to.

Without saying a word, Whis ignited his staff. A bright light enveloped us and, in a matter of seconds, we began to travel at full speed towards Beerus's planet. The familiar landscape of Earth disappeared, replaced by the infinite emptiness of the cosmos.

(Meanwhile, on Earth)

The Z Warriors let out a collective sigh of relief. The tension that had dominated the atmosphere was finally beginning to dissipate. Bulma, still trembling, ran a hand through her hair and murmured to herself: "I need to make sure I have an endless supply of pudding at Capsule Corporation..." I don't intend to go through this again."

Vegeta, meanwhile, remained on the sidelines, watching Goku, who was still unconscious on the ground, surrounded by his family and friends. A mix of frustration and respect crossed the face of the Saiyan prince.

"He always has to be the hero..." he murmured, with his arms crossed. Despite his annoyed tone, there was a hint of acknowledgment in his voice. Goku, as always, had pushed his limits for the good of everyone, something that Vegeta, although he wouldn't openly admit it, deeply respected.

On the horizon, the light enveloping Beerus, Whis, and Mira vanished into the sky, leaving Earth in peace, at least for now.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Krillin and Marron continued playing, the little girl's laughter filling the air with a warmth that had seemed absent until recently. Krillin, still feeling a bit tired, was trying to keep up with his daughter's pace.

18, for her part, watched her family with a small smile on her face. However, her thoughts were far from the moment. Her gaze turned to the sky, where the flash of light that had taken Mira away had just disappeared.

"Good luck," she thought, her expression serene but with a hint of something more, something she couldn't even explain to herself. She knew she would probably never see him again, but in that moment, she wished he would find what he was looking for, whatever it was.

For a moment, her eyes remained fixed on the sky, as if she hoped that, somehow, Mira could hear her. while Krillin and Marron played, a blonde android could only think of one thing. "Good luck." She thought as she looked up at the sky, perhaps hoping that Mira could hear her.
