Dragon Ball: Escaping from Planet Vegeta

Chapter 113: Chapter 90 Returning Back to Earth! Raditz and Kakarot (Part 1)

After the call with North Kai got cut, Talot felt a mix of emotions.

It had to be said that the unexpected turn of events had come too suddenly, leaving him unsure of how to plan for the future.

Originally, his plan was to continue wandering through the universe, using this incident to cause more trouble for Frieza.

Now, with North Kai appearing, he had more options to consider.

Speaking of earlier, he had indeed thought about using certain methods to travel to the Snake Way in the Other World and meet North Kai.

Over the years, because he had always followed his own path, Talot had overlooked many of the original work's methods of becoming stronger.

Now, perhaps it was time to return to Earth.

Since leaving Earth with Salari, nearly six or seven years had passed. Even after finding Raditz, five and a half years had gone by.

"Brother Talot, where are we going next? Frieza thinks we all died in the planet's explosion, and the news is spreading. Frieza wants to tell the world that he's wiped out all those troublemaking Saiyans."

Inside the spaceship, Salari, having seen the latest intelligence received by the system, asked Talot for his opinion.

Nearby, Raditz and Tights remained silent.

Where to go? What to do? These decisions had always been made by Talot.

Most importantly, Talot was the strongest, and it was because of him that they had managed to come this far.

Talot's expression was serious; he had yet to make a decision.

His gaze shifted between Salari, Raditz, and Tights.

"After hearing what that North Kai said, Talot, you seem so indecisive. You're not really thinking about going to that guy for training, are you?" Raditz seemed to sense Talot's hesitation, and with his own speculation, asked directly.

In his heart, Talot had long become the central figure, the one who led him to grow stronger.

So, whatever decision Talot made, as long as he was certain, Raditz would follow along.

However, he still felt that North Kai wasn't reliable.

Even if Tights knows that North Kai's reputation is genuine.

"I do have that idea, but before that, I think we should return to Earth first," Talot admitted that he would seek out North Kai but rejected the idea of going immediately. At least, he wouldn't go right now.

As soon as Talot spoke, not only did Raditz's body tremble and his breath hitch, but Salari and Tights also felt a tremor in their hearts.

Over the years, they had thought about returning to Earth.

But they had always been either adventuring, traveling between countless planets, or training to improve their strength.

The sudden decision to return to Earth was indeed unexpected for them.

In the past, Talot had always said it wasn't the time to go back yet.

Now, with the sudden decision to return, it made them reflect on how quickly time had passed.

"Really? Are we really going back, Brother Talot," Salari became excited as she repeatedly asked for confirmation.

Talot nodded. "We didn't return to Earth earlier because I was afraid it could bring trouble to earth. Now that Frieza thinks we're dead, it's naturally better to go back. You must miss Aunt Gine and Kakarot too, right?"

Salari quickly nodded in response.

When they left, she was only six and a half years old. Now, she is thirteen.

Raditz's breathing grew increasingly rapid. At this moment, countless images flashed through his mind, causing him to lose control of his emotions.

In truth, he had been eager to return to Earth to see Gine and his younger brother, Kakarot.

But due to his strength being weak and Talot never mentioning returning, he had never brought it up.

Now, with the sudden decision to go back, it felt like a lifetime had passed, and he wondered if he was dreaming.

"Are we really going to Earth? You better not be lying to me. You know I don't like jokes like this," Raditz pressed.

Hearing him say this, Talot felt a little amused and exasperated: "Can this even be fake? These years of experience are enough, it's time to go back to rest and recuperate for a while."

"Unfortunately, I can't sense Earth's aura, so even my Instant Transmission can't take us there directly. We'll have to rely on the spaceship.

"Tights, do you have any objections?"

After speaking, Talot looked at Tights.

Hearing the question, Tights also felt a surge of emotions. Now that it was her turn to speak, she organized her thoughts and said, "Then let's go back. I also miss my parents and Bulma. But traveling from here to Earth might take some time."

As Tights operated the system and finalized the arrival time, the group prepared to depart without further delay.

...…..

In the blink of an eye, three months passed.

On Earth.

Mount Paozu.

Gine was preparing tonight's dinner.

It was a large fish, freshly caught from the river, along with a plump beast resembling a bison, which she was turning back and forth on the grill.

Over the years, living as an ordinary person on Mount Paozu, she had gradually grown accustomed to life on Earth.

There was no conflict, no schemes, no deceit, and no enemies.

Although this kind of life is boring and dull, so ordinary that it can't be more ordinary, it also made Gine truly fall in love with this place.

Even though her husband was still missing, and her eldest son was still out in the universe training with Talot, she had her younger son by her side.

As she prepared the food, Gine glanced into the distance.

Goku had just finished the training tasks assigned by Son Gohan and was lying on the ground, exhausted and panting.

Son Gohan stood nearby, smiling encouragingly and teaching his alien grandson how to stabilize his ki after finishing his training.

This was a basic method of training ki, a foundational technique Son Gohan had discovered.

Back in the day, Talot had also benefited greatly from this, advancing his own ki training.

Just then, the tantalizing aroma of the food reached their noses.

Son Gohan didn't react much, but Goku immediately shook off all his fatigue and eagerly turned over, standing up before he trotted over.

"Don't rush, Kakarot. It'll be ready in about ten minutes," Gine said with a warm smile, her eyes filled with affection as she looked at her younger son.

Though her younger son wasn't particularly gifted, he was deeply passionate about training and becoming stronger.

She didn't stop him, nor did she intervene.

According to Son Gohan, Goku, despite being a Saiyan, was more like an Earthling. A low starting point didn't mean his future achievements would be mediocre, so she followed Son Gohan's advice and allowed him to train Goku.

Indeed, under Son Gohan's diligent guidance, Goku's strength improved rapidly.

By Earth's standards, he was already very, very strong.

"Mhm, mhm, mhm," Goku responded, drooling all over the place.

He tried to resist the mouthwatering aroma of the grilled fish and meat, but the way he stared at the food was really adorable.

Soon, ten minutes passed.

The grilled fish and meat on the fire were cut into over a dozen large plates by Gine.

Given the Saiyans' naturally astonishing appetites, most of the food was for Goku and Gine, while Son Gohan only ate a small portion.

Being well into his twilight years, his body no longer required as much sustenance as it did in his youth. As long as he met his basic needs each day, that was enough.

Just as Gine and Goku were about to enjoy their meal, Gine's Ki Sense suddenly picked up a familiar aura. Son Gohan also noticed it and looked up at the sky.

...

Meanwhile, on Lookout.

Kami and Popo were the first to sense something.

When Talot and Salari's auras entered their perception, they looked up toward the outer space, their expressions serious.

It had been so many years since Talot and the others left Earth, and they never returned. Kami had never delved too deeply into it.

Now that they were back, Kami felt immense pressure.

What was especially important was the addition of an uncontrollable aura, clearly belonging to Gine's eldest son.

Years ago, thanks to Talot, Kami had been able to communicate and even video chat with the Grand Elder of Planet Namek. Through this, he had learned many things he hadn't known before, including the situation of Talot and the others in the universe.

Over the years, he had also undergone many tests and teachings from the Grand Elder.

Though he had come to understand much and wasn't afraid of Talot and the others anymore, Kami's desire for control was too strong. He feared any unexpected developments and couldn't bring himself to fully trust them, as the Grand Elder did.

In truth, he didn't need to overthink things. If Talot truly wanted to do something to him, he wouldn't even have the chance to ponder over it.

"Kami-sama, you should take care of yourself. Actually, Talot and Salari aren't bad people. They likely won't bring harm to Earth," Popo said, showing understanding and trying to comfort Kami.

"I know. I just hope nothing bad happens," Kami replied, his expression gloomy. It was hard to tell what he was thinking.

Someone like him would likely only truly let go if a higher authority gave him direct instructions.

For example, if North Kai were to intervene in the future and tell him, the Earth's Kami, that Talot and the others were all warriors who uphold justice.
