The two stopped and unknowingly fell into the trap of the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast.
The seemingly harmless hundred-year and thousand-year-old spirit beasts from moments ago had slowly gathered together. Jun Tianlin and Sword Douluo Chen Xin had seems to have gone from hunters to prey.
Looking at the surrounding soul beasts glaring at them Chen Xin smiled faintly and said "Tianlin, let me teach you another lesson today that is in the face of absolute strength, no matter how great your wisdom then it is useless."
As he spoke the Seven Killing Sword appeared in his hand. At the same time, two yellow, two purple, and five black spirit rings began to rotate around him. The sheer power of the nine rings and coupled with the killing aura Chen Xin exuded, made the very air feel heavy. Even without fully unleashing the Seven Kills Domain the oppressive murderous intent was palpable.
In the shadows, the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast froze in shock and It had assumed the two were ordinary soul masters, but one of them was a Titled Douluo—a terrifying existence capable of rivaling a hundred-thousand-year-old soul beast. Ordinary hundred-thousand-year-old soul beasts, regardless of numbers, could not hope to match such a foe.
Realizing the danger the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast began to retreat, but its attempt to escape only drew Chen Xin's attention.
"Haha, you are indeed one of the smarter soul beasts" Chen Xin chuckled and his figure vanishing and reappearing behind the beast in an instant "When you saw the odds, you wanted to retreat.Smart But sadly, what you possess in your thousand years of living is merely cunningness and If you hadn't moved then I might not have found you among all these beasts."
The soul beast which resembled a large wolf-dog with golden fur and eyes blazing with purple fire, froze under Chen Xin's gaze.
"Judging by your size you're just over a thousand years old. Perfect for my apprentice," Chen Xin remarked and his voice calm but merciless. Without hesitation, he unleashed the overwhelming force of the Seven Killing Sword, the pressure from its energy enough to make the beast tremble.
The Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast roared loudly, summoning its subordinates. However, its command wasn't an attack on Chen Xin but an order for the other beasts to target Jun Tianlin instead and hoping to divide their focus.
The soul beasts surged toward Jun Tianlin but Chen Xin remained unfazed "Second soul skill: Spirit Sword Guard."
With a wave of his Seven Killing Sword a protective barrier of powerful sword energy enveloped Jun Tianlin and rendering him untouchable. The spirit beasts's attacks bounced harmlessly off the shield, unable to penetrate it.
Seeing its plan fail the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast shot a beam of its signature purple fire from its eyes. This Soul Sealing Purple Fire had the ability to seal part of an opponent's soul power. Chen Xin made no effort to dodge and allowing the fire to engulf him.
The beast's confidence surged. It believed it had sealed the Titled Douluo's soul power, leaving him vulnerable. Encouraged, the other beasts abandoned their futile assault on Jun Tianlin and charged at Chen Xin instead.
From within the flames,Chen Xin's voice rang out cold and unyielding "Even without my sword in hand, my edge remains as sharp as ever, for I am the sword itself.Tianlin, watch closely. This is the true essence of the Seven Kills Sword Technique."
Using his arm as a blade, Chen Xin unleashed countless bursts of sword energy and each infused with murderous intent so potent it could shatter an opponent's will to fight. In mere moments, the purple fire around him dissipated and the surrounding soul beasts fell, wounded by his relentless sword energy.
Though he showed mercy and sparing their lives, it was clear that if Chen Xin had intended to then not a single soul beast would have survived. His sole target, however, was the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast.
"Come here, Tianlin" Chen Xin called calmly "The beast no longer has the will to fight. Now is the perfect time to absorb its soul ring."
Chen Xin had intentionally unleashed his oppressive aura to break the beast's spirit. Just like Liu Erlong's psychological torment of the Earth King in the past, Chen Xin's method made the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast utterly submissive and paving the way for Jun Tianlin to absorb its soul ring safely.

Although Jun Tianlin raised his sword to defend himself and the fire still struck him, sealing a significant portion of his soul power. "The sealing power is so strong! My soul power has dropped by eight levels in an instant!" Jun Tianlin exclaimed in alarm.
Chen Xin's voice cut through the tension "Tianlin, you were careless. Never assume victory before your opponent is completely defeated. A single moment of complacency can be fatal."
Acknowledging his mistake, Jun Tianlin steadied himself "I won't give you another chance" he declared, activating his first soul skill Frostbite Edge. The icy aura of the skill, a natural counter to fire-based soul beasts instantly enveloped the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast.
The beast froze in place, encased in ice and With a swift strike of his sword, Jun Tianlin shattered the ice—and the beast along with it.
With the death of their leader, the remaining spirit beasts scattered, leaving the area calm once more.
Jun Tianlin stepped forward, drawing the beast's purple soul ring toward himself. Closing his eyes, he focused his energy. "Come on, my second soul ring," he murmured and ready to absorb the power of the Purple Fire Golden-Eyed Beast.
