The group of over fifty people included Hailis's guards and members of the Spirit Hall's Silver Guard, all of whom surrounded Lin Yongming and his companions.

Bi Shi and the other three quickly formed a protective circle around Bibi Dong.

"If I'm not mistaken, you're wearing the uniforms of the Spirit Hall, right? Are you planning to collude with the Kang family?" Bibi Dong asked, her tone calm but laced with authority.

"And the person hiding in the shadows, why don't you come out as well?" Bibi Dong called out toward the ruins.

"Silence! You dare impersonate the Spirit Hall and commit such atrocities? Today, I, Bishop Greenk, will eradicate you imposters and uphold the dignity of the Spirit Hall!" Greenk declared as he stepped out with his two assistants.

However, when Greenk saw the four members of the Judgment Team, his expression shifted slightly. Internally, he was in turmoil, and the thought of fleeing immediately crossed his mind.

"That girl in the middle… could she be the Holy Maiden, the Pope's disciple?" Greenk thought, glancing at Bibi Dong surrounded by the four Judgment Team members.

"Damn it! Why didn't Hailis tell me about this last night?" Greenk cursed inwardly, feeling a surge of resentment toward Hailis.

In truth, it wasn't entirely Hailis's fault. Greenk had been too distracted by her charms the previous night to ask for detailed information about Lin Yongming's group.

"Run!" The moment Greenk realized the girl might be the Holy Maiden and that the Judgment Team was present, he decided to flee, even if it meant abandoning his position as bishop.

As Greenk plotted his escape, he subtly slowed his pace, letting his two assistants walk ahead.

"Holy Maiden, I think Bishop Greenk has recognized our identities and is planning to flee," Lin Yongming whispered, noticing the rapid shift in Greenk's demeanor—from arrogance to shock, and then to fear.

"I noticed. Don't worry, Ghost Douluo is watching. He won't get far," Bibi Dong replied quietly.

"Tell me, did you kill my husband? Is that why he hasn't returned for so many days?" Hailis shouted, her voice filled with hatred as she glared at Lin Yongming. "And you, you blind fool! My son and husband are gone because of you!"

"Whether it's true or not, the answer doesn't matter to you anymore, does it?" Bibi Dong retorted coldly.

"You're right. It doesn't matter. Bishop Greenk, why aren't you giving the order to attack?" Hailis turned to Greenk, her voice sharp.

Greenk, who had been quietly trying to retreat, froze. "Everyone, this is a misunderstanding. I don't know these people. I'm just passing by. Goodbye!"

With that, Greenk released his spirit, seven spirit rings appearing as he transformed into a rat-like beast spirit and bolted toward the valley. His speed was astonishing, leaving his subordinates and Hailis stunned.

"Only a fool would dare oppose the Spirit Hall. I'll have to lay low for a while," Greenk thought, relieved that no one had reacted in time to stop him.

However, Greenk failed to notice a shadowy figure following him—Ghost Douluo.

"Greenk! What are you doing? I lured them out of the city for you!" Hailis cried out, completely baffled.

If Greenk could have responded, he would have said, "Thanks a lot!"

"Bishop!" his two assistants called out, but Greenk didn't look back, quickly disappearing from sight.

"Capture them. Kill anyone who resists," Bibi Dong ordered.

"Yes, Holy Maiden!" Bi Shi and the others responded, releasing their spirits and spirit rings.

Two Soul Sages and two level 68 Soul Emperors.

"Two Soul Sages! Damn it, stop them!" Hailis shouted, preparing to flee herself.

"Members of the Balak Spirit Hall, we are the Judgment Team. Anyone who resists will be treated as traitors to the Spirit Hall and executed!" Bi Shi roared, his voice echoing with authority.

At his words, many of the Spirit Hall members stood down, but Greenk's two assistants, now realizing why their bishop had fled, also tried to make a run for it.

Ye Ying, one of the Judgment Team members, transformed into a shadow and blocked their path.

"Holy Maiden, Hailis is trying to escape. This matter concerns me. I'll go after her," Lin Yongming said, summoning his Thunderblade Spirit.

"Alright, be careful," Bibi Dong nodded.

Lin Yongming dashed forward like a bolt of lightning, quickly closing the distance between himself and Hailis, who had already fled dozens of meters away.

"First Spirit Skill, Thunderblade Slash!" Lin Yongming's blade shattered a large rock Hailis was using as cover.

"First Spirit Skill, Wall of Music!" Hailis summoned a green jade flute and played a melody, creating a translucent green barrier that blocked the flying debris.

Hailis was a level 38 Spirit Elder, her three spirit rings glowing as she fought.

"You think you can stop me alone, blind boy? Dream on! Second Spirit Skill, Speed of Music!" Hailis played another tune, her second spirit ring lighting up as her speed increased dramatically.

"So, you're a support-type Spirit Master," Lin Yongming sneered, continuing his pursuit. With a burst of speed, he quickly closed the gap and cut off Hailis's escape route.

"Second Spirit Skill, Wave Burst!" Lin Yongming activated his skill just as Hailis was about to collide with him.

"Ugh!" Caught off guard, Hailis was sent flying by the force of the attack, crashing into a rock and spitting blood.

"How… how are you so fast?" Hailis gasped, her eyes wide with fear.

"If I weren't fast, how could I have escaped your husband, a Soul Sage?" Lin Yongming said coldly, stepping closer with his blade in hand.

"You've seen A-Hu! Tell me, where is he?" Hailis demanded, struggling to her feet.

"Don't worry, you'll see him soon. Asura Thunder Slash!" Without another word, Lin Yongming unleashed a lightning-infused slash that struck Hailis down.

"A-Hu… will avenge me…" Hailis muttered before collapsing, her eyes wide with disbelief.

"Unfortunately, he's already met the same fate," Lin Yongming said coldly, showing no remorse. Hailis's actions had proven that her family was vengeful and ruthless, and showing mercy now would only invite future trouble.

As Lin Yongming turned to leave, a cry of pain echoed from the valley. Moments later, Ghost Douluo appeared, dragging a half-dead Greenk behind him.

Lin Yongming quickly rejoined the group, where Bi Shi and the others had already taken control of the situation.

"A Title Douluo!" The remaining Spirit Hall members gasped in shock, especially those who hadn't resisted, feeling relieved they hadn't made a fatal mistake.

Ghost Douluo tossed Greenk to the ground like garbage, his expression cold and unyielding.

"Lin Yongming, did she escape?" Bibi Dong asked as he returned.

"She's dead," Lin Yongming replied simply.

"Good," Bibi Dong said, stepping forward to address Hailis's remaining guards. "Your mistress is dead, and your master is missing. Do you still want to resist?"

"Damn you! I'll fight to the death!" one of the guards shouted, charging at Bibi Dong.

"Fool!" Bi Shi thrust his halberd, ending the man's life in an instant.

"Anyone else? If you value your lives, surrender now," Bi Shi said coldly, his gaze sweeping over the remaining guards.

Realizing the situation was hopeless, the remaining dozen or so guards quickly surrendered.

"Wise choice. If you have nowhere else to go, the Spirit Hall welcomes you," Bibi Dong said with a satisfied nod.

After securing the area and dealing with the aftermath, the group returned to Balak City.

This time, Bibi Dong led the group directly to the Spirit Hall, where she announced the situation with Greenk and the others to the remaining members.

"Ghost Elder, I'll need you to personally escort these prisoners back to Spirit City for the Pope's judgment," Bibi Dong instructed.

With so many traitors in the Balak Spirit Hall, Bibi Dong wanted to ensure there were no mishaps.

"Holy Maiden, what about you? Aren't you coming with us?" Ghost Douluo asked coldly.

"I've already sent a message. I'll stay here for a few more days to oversee the transition. Once the new bishop arrives, I'll return," Bibi Dong replied.

"But your safety—"

"It's fine. I'll have Ye Ying and Fan He stay with me," Bibi Dong assured him.

"Very well," Ghost Douluo said, knowing that with a Soul Sage and a Soul Emperor by her side, Bibi Dong would be safe unless they encountered a Title Douluo.

That afternoon, Ghost Douluo left with Bi Shi and the others, escorting over a dozen prisoners, including Greenk and his assistants, whose crimes had already been confirmed.

With their departure, the Balak Spirit Hall fell into an eerie silence.

"I wonder how many will die because of this," Bibi Dong murmured, watching the sunset.

"They brought it upon themselves. They have no one to blame but themselves," Lin Yongming said indifferently, feeling no sympathy for people he didn't know.

As news of Torres and the others spread, the Pope took decisive action, sending teams to investigate all branch halls. With the help of Ju Douluo, who uncovered past reports of misconduct, the Spirit Hall began a widespread purge.

Such a large-scale operation couldn't go unnoticed by the major powers on the continent.

"Your Majesty, Viscount Robert Kang is missing, Hailis is dead, and their guards have either fled or been recruited by the Spirit Hall. The bishop of the Balak Spirit Hall, Greenk, has been taken to Spirit City by a Title Douluo," a messenger reported to the King of Balak that evening.

"I heard Kang went to Suotuo City and hasn't returned in over ten days. I didn't expect him to go missing. In that case, strip him of his title," the King said with a sigh.

"As for the Spirit Hall's internal affairs, we can't interfere. Hailis's collusion with the Spirit Hall was her own undoing."

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

Four days later, around noon, the new bishop of the Balak Spirit Hall arrived.

Accompanied by two assistants and twenty members of the Silver Guard, he came to fill the vacancies and take over the Balak Spirit Hall.

"Your subordinate pays his respects to the Holy Maiden," Bishop Bishicheng said, bowing along with his entourage.

"Bishop Bi, you've finally arrived. With your years of experience managing the Spirit Hall, I'll leave this place in your hands," Bibi Dong said with a nod.

"Holy Maiden, the Pope has instructed me to ensure your immediate return to Spirit City. He is furious and has ordered a large-scale investigation. Many have been arrested, and a public trial will be held to announce the results to the world," Bishop Bi explained.

"Understood. I've been away for too long," Bibi Dong replied.

"Let's go," Bibi Dong said, handing over control to Bishop Bi before leaving with Lin Yongming and the others.

"Farewell, Holy Maiden!"

As the carriage left Balak City and picked up speed on the main road, Bibi Dong turned to Lin Yongming.

"Blindie, it's been almost ten days since we left. Your parents must be worried."

"It's fine. My parents are understanding people," Lin Yongming replied with a smile.

"Since we're passing near your village on the way back to Spirit City, I'll drop you off first," Bibi Dong said suddenly.

"But the Pope wants you back as soon as possible. Won't this delay you?" Lin Yongming asked, somewhat reluctant.

"It's fine. It won't take long," Bibi Dong said, not picking up on Lin Yongming's hesitation.

"Then I'll trouble the Holy Maiden," Lin Yongming said reluctantly.

"Why don't you come with me to Spirit City and attend the trial?" Bibi Dong suggested.

"Holy Maiden, I'll pass on that," Lin Yongming declined politely.

"Alright, I'll take you back to your village."

"You can just drop me off at the town."

"We're already going to the town. What's a little further?"

Lin Yongming wisely kept quiet, knowing that once a woman made up her mind, there was no changing it.

The carriage raced through the countryside, arriving at Wurtuo Town by dusk.

By the time they reached Thunderstorm Village, the sun had set, and the sky was dark.

"Thank you, Holy Maiden, and you two, for bringing me back," Lin Yongming said sincerely as he stepped out of the carriage.

"No problem!"

"You're welcome, little brother," the two guards replied.

"Blindie, come visit sometime," Bibi Dong said.

"I will," Lin Yongming nodded. As he turned to enter the village, he suddenly stopped and said, "You've been traveling all day and haven't eaten. Why don't you come to my house for dinner and rest before heading back?"

After all, it was dark, and they had gone out of their way to bring him home. It would be rude not to invite them in for a meal.

"Sure! I'd love to see the village that produced such a talented young man," Bibi Dong said with a smile, jumping out of the carriage without hesitation.

"Little brother, is it really okay?" Ye Ying asked.

"Uh… sure," Lin Yongming said, suddenly regretting his invitation.

"Since you've invited us, we'll join you for a meal before heading back to Spirit City," Bibi Dong said, seeing that her guards had no objections.

"Follow me," Lin Yongming said, leading the way.

As they approached his home, Lin Yongming saw Blue Silver Empress and his mother, Yinglan, chatting in the courtyard.

"Auntie, I sense Xiao Ming's aura. He's almost home," Blue Silver Empress said suddenly.

"Really? Let me see where he is," Yinglan stood up, and the two women looked toward the village entrance.

Soon, they saw several figures approaching.

"Mom, A'Yin, I'm back!" Lin Yongming called out as he came into view.

"Xiao Ming, you're finally back!" Blue Silver Empress ran out of the courtyard to meet him.

"And you've brought guests. Who are they?" Blue Silver Empress asked, her eyes immediately locking onto Bibi Dong.

Bibi Dong also noticed Blue Silver Empress, her eyes narrowing slightly. "So, this is the blue-haired girl."
