"Legend has it that Devil's City was built upon a special mountain range," Jiu Yin explained. "This mountain range once witnessed a battle of Venerates of Heavens without collapsing!"

"Venerate of Heavens level?" the crowd exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes, two powerful beings from the North Pole Holy Realm and the South Pole Holy Realm had a conflict here!" Ya Yue continued, "I've also heard about this."

"A mountain range that even these two couldn't destroy looks rather mysterious," Chu Qin said with a light smile.

The crowd followed the Ancestral Demon Blood River downward, and soon they arrived at the spot where Chu Qin and the Black Emperor had clashed.

After flying downward for several hours, a black abyss appeared before them.

This black abyss split the ground in two, with the molten river of the Ancestral Demon Blood River forming a waterfall that flowed into the depths of the abyss.

Opposite them stood an immensely towering Bronze Gate.

The Bronze Gate was wide open, leading into pitch darkness, with nothing visible inside.

"What a deep Black Abyss!" Jiu Yin exclaimed upon seeing the chasm. The eye could no longer see its bottom, failing even to discern the river of molten lava at the lowest level, and Divine Sense seemed to fall into a bottomless pit, unable to sense an end.

"Indeed!" The rest of the females sent down their Divine Sense, finding the sensation somewhat frightening.

It was as if it truly was a bottomless hole.

"Chu Qin, where do you think this Ancestral Demon Blood River flows? It couldn't really lead to Jiuyou Diming, could it?" Ya Yue asked, looking at Chu Qin with a puzzled expression.

"I can't see its end either," Chu Qin shook his head. At this moment, he didn't dare to send out his clone, fearing it might go and never return.

"For now, let's not worry about it," Chu Qin said, as he approached the Bronze Gate. The inside was pitch black, but one could clearly sense an odd scent drifting out from within.

They could see a vast open space, bordered by walls all around, and in one corner of the area, a gigantic beast was tethered.

That beast resembled the mythological Qilin, with a dragon's head, tail, and horns, and the body of a lion!

The difference was that this Qilin was blood-red in color.

This blood-red Qilin lay on the ground, covered in wounds, barely alive, and emitting sorrowful moans. It could be seen that its body was covered in numerous streaks of blood, which, intertwined with its red skin, made it difficult to distinguish the two.

"What kind of monster is this?" Wang Qiu'er asked in surprise upon seeing the hundred-meter-tall Qilin.

"It seems to be injured," Bai Xiuxiu also said, pained. Bai Xiuxiu and Wang Qiu'er, both being soul beasts, especially felt compassion seeing the blood-red Qilin that resembled a young cub.

She first explored its condition with Divine Power, then took out a blood-red pill from her Divine Power container and fed it to the Blood Demon Qilin, "Whether you can survive this or not depends on whether this pill can take effect!"

After the Blood Demon Qilin swallowed the blood-red pill, it immediately closed its eyes, seemingly using its own power to heal the wounds on its body.

"Its blood is almost drained by the Black Emperor!" Qing Yu stood up and said, "I'm not certain if it can be saved."

"This is outrageous! To lay hands on a cub too!" Gu Yuena said furiously.

"Strange, this isn't the Ancestral Demon Tomb!" Jiu Yin also just said, "But why is there no way out? Could it be that the tomb of Devil Xie isn't here?"

"Impossible!" Ya Yue said, "The Ancestral Demon Tomb must be nearby. I can feel that as I get closer to this place, the bloodline inside of me becomes more and more active."

"Then, where is the entrance to the tomb? There doesn't seem to be any spatial arrays here either." Jiu Yin was still somewhat puzzled.

"Things cannot always be judged by appearances," Azure Dragon said, "There must be some kind of formation here. What we see and what the Divine Sense perceives is not necessarily the truth."

"Qing Er is right." Chu Qin nodded, "At first glance, it indeed doesn't appear to be any arrays, but have you noticed, the heaven earth origin energy around us isn't circulating well!"

"You indeed don't know, but you can cast the Heaven's Light Curse and read the Blood Demon Qilin's memories, then you would know," Chu Qin said with a smile.

"But, in its current state, the Blood Demon Qilin can't withstand my Heaven's Light Curse," Ya Yue frowned slightly.

"Haste makes waste, so we can only wait now, wait until the Blood Demon Qilin recovers, then we can read its memories," Chu Qin said with a slight smile, "Let's go back to the Warship for now and have Scarlet Dragon Lord and Azure Qilin Dragon take the Blood Demon Qilin back to the Warship!"
