Douluo Starting with the Chaos Divine Examination

Chapter 249: Chapter 249: Just Call Me Xiaodie

"Alright," Mu Chen nodded and flicked his fingers, sending a pill toward Bibi Dong.

"What is this?" Bibi Dong asked.

"It's something that will enhance your soul power. After you die, it will allow your soul to manifest visibly," Mu Chen explained.

Without hesitation, Bibi Dong swallowed the pill and began meditating to absorb its energy.

Three to four hours later, she opened her eyes, two beams of light shooting forth from her gaze. Her already formidable soul power had reached an even greater level.

"Teach this to Nana," Bibi Dong said, flicking her fingers to send an object floating toward Mu Chen. Then she turned to Xiao Wu's mother, who was present. "How about you end my life?"

"There's no need," Xiao Wu's mother replied with a gentle smile. "The moment you returned the Soft Bone Rabbit spirit bone and the spirit ring you took from me, our debts to each other were settled."

Bibi Dong paused, then smiled faintly. With a thought, she summoned a dagger and, with a swift motion, slit her throat. Blood sprayed everywhere.

Mu Chen, Xiao Wu, and Xiao Wu's mother silently watched it all unfold.

When Bibi Dong's body finally stilled, another ten minutes passed. Then, a beam of light emerged from her body, taking on her form and floating in mid-air.

"Finally... I'm dead," Bibi Dong said, her voice complex as she looked down at her lifeless body.

Mu Chen flicked his finger and retrieved a jade bottle from his storage tool.

"You've seen the entire process of Xiao Wu's mother's resurrection. When I call your name, immediately swallow the Bone-Merging Blood Pill inside this bottle and merge your soul with the skeleton. Do you understand?" Mu Chen said seriously.

"I understand," Bibi Dong replied with a firm nod.

"Alright, let's begin," Mu Chen said, pulling out another jade bottle.

As soon as the bottle's cap was removed, a dense gold-and-silver energy poured out. Mu Chen tilted the bottle, and its liquid contents spilled onto the skeleton prepared earlier.

The golden and silver blood radiated an overwhelming energy, distorting the surrounding space slightly.

"Thank you," Bibi Dong said softly.

"Thank me? After all, you're half my woman," Mu Chen replied with a smile.

Before the All-Continent Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament, Mu Chen and Bibi Dong had fought once. During that encounter, Mu Chen had unintentionally allowed Bibi Dong to experience the joy of being a woman. In a way, he considered her "half" his woman.

"Focus on your task," Bibi Dong replied coldly.

Mu Chen sighed, understanding her feelings.

At the end of the Elite Tournament, Mu Chen had humiliated Bibi Dong in public using the Thousand-Year Kill technique to intimidate Qian Daoliu and save Xiao Wu. While effective, this action reduced Bibi Dong to a tool in Mu Chen's eyes, leaving her humiliated and resentful.

Her slight goodwill toward him had turned to loathing, and Mu Chen knew it was his own fault.

Sighing again, Mu Chen calmed himself and summoned the Yin-Yang Dual Flames, using the white Yang flame to temper the unknown beast skeleton before him.

Gradually, the golden and silver blood seeped into the skeleton.

"Bibi Dong, it's time," Mu Chen called.

Bibi Dong nodded and quickly swallowed the Bone-Merging Blood Pill. Her soul turned into a beam of light and entered the skeleton.

The moment her soul merged with the skeleton, it began regenerating at an incredible speed. Flesh and blood rapidly formed but were immediately burned away by the Yin-Yang Dual Flames, only to regrow moments later.

This cycle continued for several hours until skin finally began to form.

At this point, Mu Chen recognized the type of skeleton she had chosen.

"The Ancient Nine-Colored Nine-Winged Butterfly!"

"Nine-Colored Nine-Winged Butterfly!"

"Nine-Colored Nine-Winged Butterfly!"

Mu Chen, Xiao Wu, and Xiao Wu's mother exclaimed in unison.

Bibi Dong's new body had fully taken shape.

On her back were nine wings, the largest near her shoulders and progressively smaller toward her legs. The wings glowed in nine vibrant colors, dazzling and ethereal.

In addition, two butterfly-like antennae extended from her head. Apart from these features, her body was indistinguishable from a human's.

All that remained was to wait.

As they waited, Xiao Wu's mother began to glance awkwardly between Bibi Dong's floating, unclothed body and Mu Chen.

Mu Chen smirked slightly, understanding her thoughts.

After all, Bibi Dong was still unconscious and completely exposed before them. Xiao Wu's mother realized that she had been in a similar state during her resurrection, meaning Mu Chen had also seen her body.

The awkward silence persisted for a few more hours until Bibi Dong finally opened her eyes.

She looked down at her hands and feet, excitement evident in her expression. With a gentle flap of her wings, she floated into the air before landing gracefully. A moment later, with a single thought, her butterfly wings and antennae disappeared, leaving her looking entirely human.

"Congratulations on your resurrection," Mu Chen said with a smile.

"Thank you," Bibi Dong said, smiling as well. She followed Mu Chen's gaze and suddenly froze, realizing she was completely naked. Mu Chen's eyes were locked on her chest.

Blushing deeply, Bibi Dong vanished instantly, pulling down the curtains as she reappeared on the bed.

Instead of dressing immediately, she inspected her body carefully. When she found the proof of her restored purity, joy filled her heart. "Mu Chen didn't lie to me. I finally have my purity back. I'm clean again."

The sound of rustling clothes soon followed, and moments later, Bibi Dong stepped out, fully dressed.

"Mu Chen, thank you. I'm leaving now," she said.

"Where are you going?" Mu Chen asked, sensing something was amiss.

"I've been reborn. It's time to say goodbye to my past. Please keep my new identity a secret," Bibi Dong said solemnly.

"Not even Nana or Xue'er?" Mu Chen pressed.

Bibi Dong hesitated but ultimately nodded firmly.

"Alright," Mu Chen said, though his heart ached. He realized this might be the last time he saw her. If she was truly saying farewell to her past, it included him as well. After a pause, he added, "If you're leaving, at least tell me your new name. Since you've been reborn, I doubt you'll keep using your old one."

Bibi Dong paused briefly. Spa

ce rippled around her as she vanished from the room, her voice echoing faintly behind.

"Just call me Xiaodie."
