Douluo: Infinite Lottery System

Chapter 66: Chapter 66: It's not that you are weak, I am just too strong

As Xiao Tianyang entered the Spirit Arena, his masked face scanned the surroundings with curiosity. His opponent, One Sword, approached him with a cold tone, "What kind of 'comprehensive weapon soul master' are you? Just trying to show off, aren't you?"

"Oh, have we met before?" Xiao Tianyang asked, genuinely confused.

"No," One Sword replied sternly.

"Then why are you provoking me right off the bat? Is this some kind of loser's strategy?" Xiao Tianyang mused, his tone thoughtful beneath the mask.

One Sword's face darkened. "Since you're so confident, let's get this over with!"

"Then I won't hold back," Xiao Tianyang said, raising his hand. The fused flame materialized in his palm, and two soul rings emerged from his feet—one purple and one black!

The crowd was stunned. 'What kind of soul ring configuration is this?'

The first soul ring was a thousand-year ring, and the second was a ten-thousand-year ring! Such a thing was unheard of.

In the VIP room, the young man abruptly sat up, his eyes fixed on Xiao Tianyang through the glass. "Bishop Jacko, is this boy a local soul master?"

Bishop Jacko, trembling slightly, forced a laugh. "Probably not. Otherwise, how could a soul master like this not be recorded in our archives..."

"No, someone must have been hiding him," the young man said, his gaze sharp. "I want all the information on this boy within 10 minutes. Can you do that?"

"Of course, Your Highness. I'll get it done immediately!" Bishop Jacko turned and left, cursing under his breath.

'Who dares to hide such a genius right under our noses? This is a life-threatening oversight! If this boy grows up, he'll undoubtedly become a titled Douluo!'

---

Back in the arena, One Sword was visibly shaken by Xiao Tianyang's soul rings. "How is this possible?" he blurted out.

"Anything is possible in this world," Xiao Tianyang replied with a smile. "Now, prepare yourself!"

Nine balls of flame appeared around him. Xiao Tianyang grabbed two of them and shouted, "Fire Fist!" Of course, this wasn't an actual soul skill—just a bit of playful theatrics.

The two flames merged into a massive fireball, roaring toward One Sword with incredible force.

"First Soul Skill, Blade's Edge!" One sword summoned his Soul-Eating Sword, the blade glowing with a cold light as his first soul ring activated.

He swung the sword at the incoming fireball, expecting to cleave it in two.

But to his shock, the fireball resisted the blade, pushing it back!

"Pillar of Fire!" Xiao Tianyang called out, reminding Suzuki of his next move.

Suzuki's eyes widened in alarm, but it was too late. A flame erupted beneath his feet, shooting up into a towering pillar of fire that engulfed him. His screams echoed through the arena.

"It's too painful to listen to. Let me end this quickly," Xiao Tianyang said, leaping into the flames like a cannonball.

With a muffled thud, One Sword was sent flying out of the fire and slammed into the arena wall.

Congratulations to the host for defeating a level 20 soul master. Lottery value increased by x30.

The arena fell into an eerie silence. No one cheered. The audience was too stunned to react.

The battle had lasted less than a minute, and One sword, a fighter with nine consecutive wins, had been utterly crushed.

In the VIP room, the young man leaned back in his chair, murmuring, "Only three moves... Is it the uniqueness of his martial soul, or the soul rings? And his physical strength... It's monstrous."

His gaze shifted to the spot where Xiao Tianyang had landed.

There was a footprint about five centimeters deep in the arena floor, with no cracks or dust. Such precision and control were beyond impressive.

In the resting area, Dai Mubai and the others were equally dumbfounded.

"Boss Dai, where's the fierce battle you mentioned?" Tang San teased, a rare smile on his face.

"I didn't expect Tianyang to be this strong, even without using his special techniques..." Dai Mubai admitted, at a loss for words.

"If you think about it, it's not that One Sword was weak. It's just that Brother Tianyang is too strong!" Xiao Wu exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I hope I get to face One Sowrd in my next match!"

"Why would you want that?" Ning Rongrong asked, puzzled.

Xiao Wu grinned. "It'll help me gauge the gap between me and Brother Tianyang."

"A gap like that doesn't need testing," Xiao Tianyang said, walking in with a whistle. "Did you see how One Sword ended up?"

Xiao Wu stuck out her tongue playfully.

Xiao Tianyang glanced at her, making her shrink back slightly. "In this arena, no matter who your opponent is—even if it's an auxiliary soul master—you must take them seriously. Otherwise, the chances of being kicked out are very high."

"Impossible!" Xiao Wu protested.

"Nothing is impossible," Ning Rongrong said, a hint of pride in her voice. She imagined herself becoming the kind of auxiliary soul master Xiao Tianyang had described.

Xiao Tianyang noticed her expression and added, "You're not in that category yet, at least not now."

Ning Rongrong: "..."

Tang San, deep in thought, finally spoke up. "Brother Tianyang, how did you prevent the flames from being cut in half?"

Xiao Tianyang didn't answer directly. Instead, he asked, "If you want your soul skills to be stronger, you need to use more soul power, right?"

"Theoretically, yes," Tang San nodded.

"But what if I wrapped my soul power around the flames?" Xiao Tianyang explained with a slight smile. "If his soul power isn't stronger than mine, even if he uses all his strength, he can't break through my flames. Understand?"

"If you still don't get it, try wrapping your soul power around your Blue Silver Grass and test its toughness. You'll figure it out."

Tang San fell silent, deep in thought.

"Look, Saber's match is starting!" Xiao Wu suddenly exclaimed.

Everyone turned their attention back to the arena, where Saber, her first soul skill activated, moved with the grace and precision of a seasoned warrior. Her elegant swordplay was mesmerizing.

"Our 2v2 match is up next. Let's go," Xiao Tianyang said, walking over to Zhu Zhuqing.

"Ah," Zhu Zhuqing replied softly, standing up and leading the way.
