------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He is Huo Quan, the younger brother of Huo Rui. His martial soul awakening was conducted under Ye Wen's assistance, and to everyone's surprise, his martial soul was just like his sister's—a super Body Martial Soul.

However, it seemed that the harsh living conditions during his childhood had slightly damaged his essence. Fortunately, thanks to Ye Wen's care and nourishment, the damage wasn't too severe.

As a result, his innate soul power reached an astonishing Level 9, and his martial soul was—**Body**.

In *Douluo II*, the leader of the Body Sect, Du Bu Si, also possessed this type of martial soul. However, what truly shocked people was Du Bu Si's elder brother, the former leader of the Body Sect, Du Bi Si. With his strength as a 98th-level Super Douluo, he managed to fight head-on against Mu En, the 99th-level Dragon God Douluo, leaving Mu En permanently crippled and half-dead. Although Du Bi Si eventually died, this alone was enough to demonstrate the terrifying potential of the Body Martial Soul.

Based on Ye Wen's research, however, this Body Martial Soul seemed to have a flaw. Since it transformed every part of the body into a component of the martial soul, it resulted in all aspects of development being extremely balanced, lacking the extreme specialization seen in other martial souls.

For example, someone with a brain-based martial soul could develop unparalleled spiritual power, while Huo Rui, with her heart-based martial soul, possessed the strongest bloodline abilities.

But that didn't mean the Body Martial Soul was entirely without merit.

Its inherent ability granted absolute control over one's body, allowing Huo Quan to master both soul power cultivation and physical training in the shortest possible time. When learning the self-created soul skills Ye Wen taught him, Huo Quan almost instantly mastered them. This meant that any close-combat self-created soul skill presented to Huo Quan could easily be replicated by him.

Behold—the Copycat Soul Master, Huo Quan!

It was truly terrifying.

After his martial soul awakened, Huo Quan, influenced by his sister, also decided to become Ye Wen's disciple. He deeply respected this kind and approachable older brother who had improved his family's life.

Ye Wen gladly accepted this outcome.

However, due to Huo Quan's overwhelmingly terrifying talent, Ye Wen dared not let him register at the Spirit Hall for a work-study student identity. Instead, he paid for Huo Quan's schooling out of pocket. After all, given his current wealth, spending money to ensure safety was worth it.

Although Huo Quan started a year later than his sister Huo Rui, his innate talent spoke for itself. He quickly surpassed Huo Rui's soul power cultivation.

Moreover, his physical growth limit was even more terrifying. His no-soul-ring limit reached an incredible 1,100 jin before stopping—an achievement even more impressive than the Guinness World Record from Ye Wen's previous life. And this happened when Huo Quan was only seven years old!

Seeing this, Ye Wen decided to hunt a thousand-year soul ring for Huo Quan. However, since this would draw too much attention, Ye Wen avoided letting Huo Quan claim subsidies from the Spirit Hall and instead gave him an allowance directly.

"Why does my heart ache so much despite taking in such a genius disciple?"

Finally, considering that Huo Quan lacked experience in absorbing soul rings, Ye Wen refrained from pushing him to the limit. He hunted a thousand-year-old Furious Bear for Huo Quan. Its first soul skill was the same as Huo Rui's—'Furious Strength'. However, while Huo Rui's skill increased her physical strength by 30%, Huo Quan's boost reached a terrifying 40%.

This phenomenon confirmed Ye Wen's suspicions: the quality of soul rings obtained from the same soul beast varied depending on the quality of the martial soul.

As for why the siblings received the same soul ring, Ye Wen believed that both possessed top-tier offensive talents. Choosing any other path would be a waste of their natural gifts.

---

"What is 'Observe the Way of Heaven, Execute the Actions of Heaven'?

That's a good question.

You must remember, Xiao Quan, my educational philosophy is to explore the fundamental principles of heaven and earth—that is *Observe the Way of Heaven*. Then, internalize these universal truths and use this power to accomplish what I desire—that is *Execute the Actions of Heaven*.

And this is my expectation for you: understand the 'Dao' represented by your martial soul, push it to its limits, and become the strongest Body Soul Master in this world." Ye Wen declared proudly.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, three more years passed. Ye Wen was now 15 years old and had reached the threshold of becoming a Soul King. All he needed was to acquire a ten-thousand-year soul ring to officially ascend to that rank.

Over these three years, the Huo siblings made rapid progress.

Under Ye Wen's care, both reached the 30th level threshold but hadn't yet hunted soul rings or broken through to become Soul Elders. Their physical limits far exceeded Ye Wen's expectations.

Ah Yin's progress was also remarkable, reaching Level 47. Compared to her original counterpart, who met Tang Hao at around Level 50, she was significantly stronger.

Much of this progress was due to the icy training field Ye Wen had set up. Under the instinctive drive to survive in such harsh conditions, they trained almost 24/7, making their cultivation far more efficient than traditional methods.

As for Lan Lan… well…

How should one put it? After avenging her parents, Lan Lan seemed to have slacked off a bit.

Still, her demeanor remained as elegant as ever. Besides enjoying cultivating near Ah Yin, she often liked to cling to Ye Wen, helping him with various chores.

As an auxiliary-type disciple—and also Ye Wen's research subject (ahem, nominal disciple)—he allowed her to live carefree and stress-free.

Lan Lan's second soul ring came from a 600-year-old Blue Silver Vine. Though the Blue Silver Vine lacked intelligence, Ye Wen hesitated slightly when hunting it, as it could technically be considered Ah Yin's kin.

However, Ah Yin reassured him, saying that planting its seeds in the ground would suffice. Blue Silver Grass below ten-thousand years had weak spiritual awareness but no self-consciousness, relying on cycles of death and rebirth to strengthen its life essence. Even if Ye Wen hadn't killed the vine, it would have naturally withered and died anyway. Other plant-type soul beasts were similar—death wasn't the end for them.

Lan Lan's second soul skill—'Flourish'.

This skill allowed her to produce more Blue Silver Vines with less soul power consumption, further evolving her martial soul. The vines grew longer and thicker as a result.

As for the Huo siblings' second soul rings, they came from a subspecies of the Mighty Golden Bear known as the Mighty Bear. Yes, the same soul beast associated with Zhao Wuji, the Immovable Bright King.

Though the Mighty Golden Bear couldn't compare to the infamous Dark Golden Terror Claw Bear from Douluo II, it was still considered a top-tier soul beast, capable of mastering the profound mysteries of gravity and the earth. Unfortunately, like the Dark Golden Terror Claw Bear, it was exceedingly rare. It had two subspecies branches: the Mighty Bear and the Golden Bear, which inherited the strength and defense of the Mighty Golden Bear, respectively. Though their development paths were more specialized, they were still top-tier soul beasts.

Precisely because of this, Ye Wen chose this soul beast for the Huo siblings, as their extreme power aligned perfectly with their needs.

As expected, the Huo siblings gained the second soul skill—'Mighty Fury Strike'.

Effect: Increases the power of a single attack by 50%. Unfortunately, Huo Rui's martial soul was slightly inferior to Huo Quan's, granting her only a 40% boost.

Even so, this was an extraordinarily terrifying skill—a top-tier offensive ability.
