Douluo : Capture the goddess starting from peerless tang sect

Chapter 30: Chapter 29: Tang Ya Joins the Harem, and Wang Dong’er’s Heartfelt Concern

Sunlight streamed through the hotel window, illuminating the room.

On the large, round bed, Tang Ya and Qian Ran lay intertwined, with nothing between them.

On the bedsheets, small blossoms of blood told their story.

Qian Ran held Tang Ya's smooth, alabaster-like body close, his hand gently stroking the light bruises on her skin.

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for expanding his harem with the first member: Tang Ya."

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining a number of Dark Spirit Crystals. Note: These crystals contain potent dark energy, highly prized by dark spirit masters as they can enhance spirit abilities and increase cultivation. Non-dark spirit users will be corrupted into dark spirit masters, so they must be carefully stored."

Despite the tempting system reward, Qian Ran didn't pay much attention to it. With beauty beside him, he had no room for distractions. To him, gaining power was simply a means to an end, not the end itself.

"Awake already? Why not sleep a bit longer?" Qian Ran whispered, seeing Tang Ya's sleepy eyes open.

Last night had certainly taken a toll on her.

After all, this was Qian Ran's first time in this world, and he had been well-prepared. He had the stamina, the skill—let's just say it was an experience worthy of legend.

"How could I? I still have classes, unlike someone here who can just lie around all day." Tang Ya tried to shift her body slightly, only to feel every muscle ache.

"Why don't I help you call in sick?" Qian Ran offered, seeing her wince with pain. He felt a pang of guilt—it was his fault he'd been too vigorous, especially since this had been her first time.

"No, thanks! With all the noise you made last night, I bet the entire outer court already knows about you. If you call in sick for me, everyone will be able to guess what we were up to…" Tang Ya's cheeks flushed.

If Qian Ran called in sick on her behalf, people would surely start speculating. Her close friends would never let her live it down.

After last night's fight with Bei Bei, Qian Ran's reputation had surely spread across the outer court by now.

"So what are you going to do?"

"I just need a moment to get used to it." Tang Ya replied softly, feeling overwhelmed by Qian Ran's strength and stamina.

She had heard rumors from other girls that it usually wasn't a big deal, just something you got through for the guy's sake. But now she realized those rumors were far from true.

Her pleas last night had been real. Otherwise, she thought she might've been unable to make it through.

"I'll help you get dressed," Qian Ran offered, taking the clothes she'd laid out.

"All right," Tang Ya nodded. Her whole body felt so sore; it would take at least an hour before she could move comfortably again.

Qian Ran started with her stockings, slipping them over her small feet and sliding them up her legs. Watching the black stockings wrap around Tang Ya's slender, smooth legs, he couldn't resist planting another kiss on her thigh.

"Focus on the task, and stop with the thoughts," Tang Ya chided, her cheeks flushed.

She realized how intimate his "help" was turning out to be, making her almost regret agreeing to it. The way Qian Ran's mind worked, she wondered if he was already planning round two!

At last, Qian Ran got her fully dressed.

Helping a girl get dressed, he realized, was not as simple as it looked. But seeing Tang Ya in black stockings was more than worth it. In the original story, Tang Ya never wore anything like that—she must have gotten them just for him.

Tang Ya really understood him.

No man could resist stockings, whether they were black, white, or nude. Pair black stockings with a femme fatale, white with an innocent look, and nude for a more mature beauty, and you've got perfection.

After a cozy breakfast, they went their separate ways.

Back at the dorm, Qian Ran explained Tang Ya's background to Wang Dong'er, finally soothing her anger.

"Tang Ya is really pitiful."

Wang Dong'er's eyes turned red. A girl who had lost her entire clan, family, and friends, coming alone to Shrek Academy, training solely for revenge… It made sense that Qian Ran would be helping her become stronger.

This made things more understandable! But she still couldn't quite shake the feeling that Qian Ran had other motivations, even if he was there to help her.

"Yes, Tang Ya is tragic, but that doesn't make you any less of a jerk! You spent the whole night out with her—what exactly did you two get up to? I'll bite you for this!" Wang Dong'er pouted and bit his shoulder in frustration.

This jerk! She'd planned to stay mad at him, but she just couldn't help herself.

"Bite away. I deserve it for being a shameless flirt." Qian Ran let her bite him. In his experience, letting Wang Dong'er vent her feelings meant things would be okay. If she went silent, that's when he'd really be in trouble.

"Do you think Tang Ya is prettier than me?" Wang Dong'er stared at him with her big pink and blue eyes, clearly expecting an answer that would save his skin.

"No contest! You're the most beautiful," Qian Ran replied without hesitation.

"Liar. Tang Ya's figure is better than mine!" she muttered, looking unconvinced.

"Says who? You don't understand… I'm more interested in…" he leaned in close and whispered, leaving her blushing.

Apparently, she did have her own advantages.

This jerk Qian Ran really knew how to make her blush!

"Hmph."

"This time I'll forgive you. But if you make me mad again, I'll punch you hard." Wang Dong'er waved her tiny fists, putting on a serious face.

"All right, whatever punishment you want next time," he laughed, giving her a quick peck on the cheek.

"I bit you, so I'll let you bite me back if you want. Then we'll be even," she murmured, rubbing his shoulder where she'd left a mark.

"I could never."

"Still, you should make it up to me somehow!"

He kissed her on the lips.

Wang Dong'er was so sweet, unlike Tang Wutong who became daddy's girl later on. The contrast made Qian Ran even more determined to protect Wang Dong'er from Tang San's influence. At first, he'd been interested in her as Tang San's daughter, but now, he found himself genuinely caring for her.
